Wow, Pickles is getting touchy. I guess she's taking a page from the JinJer blog. At least their pics are first-run. She steals hers, as we all do.

I rarely visit her page. Has she made  other plea for money? She banned me for sharing her original post in a secret group which had unfortunately let a mole get in. That was a very messy day for poor Pickles. I might have also disclosed her full name to the group. I don't even remember her last name

The worst thing about her is that she's a teacher!

Telling everyone her real name was probably not well received.

I read on Pickles that a fan ran into them in Australia and they were handed a religious tract by Jing and Babe. FFS.

Too bad there couldn't be a coordinated effort to hand them back a copy of Joy of Sex or a good porno when they handed out a religious tract.  FFS.  I find it to be the height of rudeness to hand out religious stuff unsolicited.  It took me many years of being married to Mr. Natalie to get him to not open the door when they came knocking (not the Duggars, random religious folks).  He thought it was rude.  I told him I don't care if they see me in the window and KNOW I am home.  They are uninvited and I am not someone wishing to be 'saved'.  I know where you are and can find you should the mood strike.

She's got the adoring wife gaze down pat.

Making it worse for me is in the gazing adoration pic, he looks almost old enough to be her father.  Holy Goalie looks like he is going to be one of those guys that ages in leaps; probably well, but still, where he looks a certain age for a decade and then *poof* ages a decade in a year.  The attempt to front fluff to offset the receding hairline is kind of silly because it actually makes it look worse from the front when from the side it isn't that severe.  Yet.

And she shouldn't wear a knit brown cap like that.  Combined with her horrible hair, it just looks like she just has one big tangled and half unraveled ball of yarn on her head.

I'm feeling a bit peevish.  I hope they didn't do the bridge walk.  Later I have been on business, but my first trip to Australia was pure tourist and solely out of my pocket.  These people are getting a trip of a lifetime simply because they married as a side tent freak show at the carnival called TLC.  I hope they did the most basic and overly tourist stuff that is cheap and nothing but intellectual pap.  Okay I'm feeling really really peevish tonight. But good stuff would be wasted on these two.  It either feeds into their sense of entitlement or it continues the idea of the show rewarding them for being dull, contrived and totally lacking in charm of any kind.

Why does one put a watermark on pictures that you've stolen? Color me confused.

Because One is a moron. One who publicly begged for money one day because she claimed running a FREE FB page deserved to be monetized because it took up so much of her time. Too bad, so sad, hon. If you commit to something that big, you gotta bring it. And she's often scooped by us or FJ, or both, on days she's at work, where as a teacher, she can't keep up the pace during weekdays.

Jinger genuinely looks happy there, so I'm glad she seems to enjoy herself.

Those crappy copyrights are just.........her page lives off stolen photos entirely, yet she puts a copyright across pictures that aren't hers AND has the gall to tell media not to use them without payiner HER?

That nutter is losing it more and more. I really abhor her.

I still hope that they'll both find a way to be happy, without him oppressing her.

I have a feeling Babe is going to age quickly like Derick. I think these "older" (not old - but not 19 like Bin) fundie guys really get off on marrying these young naïve girls. They get themselves a virgin who has never even touched let alone kissed or even been friends with another guy and she is all theirs. Great. Except a few weeks into it, guys who've had regular lives -- jobs, school, friends -- realize how overwhelming it is to be the only object of fascination for a 22 yr old with no education; no job; no interest in school/work; no friends besides her sisters; no exposure to TV, news, movies, sports, music, or anything else that 20 somethings talk about. I have a feeling Jing will be taking the Anna and Jill newlywed path -- driving Jer to work daily and then sitting in his 2 bedroom church all day while he does his minister thing. And then on days when she can't sit with him at work, she will sit by the window waiting for him to come home and then guilt him about -- Baaabe I miss you so much, you're gone so many hours a day and I'm so lonely here all alone esp. since my sisters aren't here in Laredo. I think it's cute to marry someone so meek and innocent and then it starts to weigh on you quick when you have to explain why it's important to eat vegetables and what hummus is.

I mean why doesn't he look happy in the honeymoon video and pics? Don't want to read too much into pictures. Maybe he really is tired from the wedding, 24+ hr flight to Australia, and having to hit it 2-3 time a day. But they married about 2 weeks ago now and he's a young healthy man who shouldn't be THAT worn out from a long flight or getting it up a few times a day. Could it be that hearing -- Baaabe, what do you mean you want to go running and leave me alone hotel for 20 min OR I've never had potatoes like this only as tots -- is already starting to make him wonder what he got into!?

  • Love 17

While I think Jeremy might find it daunting and eventually boring and tiresome to have to explain a lot of things to Jinger, I felt the honeymoon pics were more a reflection of normal tiredness and a resentment of having TLC along on the trip.  Jinger might not have been as tired, and she surely is very accustomed to having a camera crew around all the time, so she was able to portray the sweet, loving new wife with greater aplomb.

I give them more time before cracks appear, and it's still possible that they'll be able to work through them like all other couples have to do when joining two lives in marriage.  It'll help if they agree to have Jinger Skype only when he's at work (and with time limitations), tell her family they won't be open to visitors for a few months, and if she can make some friends among his congregation to help her pass the time.

Another great post Cereality.  I'm wondering if anyone in the Vuolo family took Babe aside & explained to him that the Duggar girls dont have schooling, friends, knowledge of the real world, etc.?  Someone in that family has to have watched the show & given him the lowdown on all things Duggar.  I remember Babe making the comment that he didn't realize they couldn't hug or hold hands when courting or something like that.  Maybe he thinks things aren't that bad & he can change Jinge for the better.

no exposure to TV, news, movies

Jill and Jessa were asked for wedding advice for Jinge.  They said you should always remember to have date night, and Jessa said that you can do all kinds of things like watch movies.  I can't image what movies they have seen.  Certainly not Disney because the mother usually gets bumped off in those and Michelle would never let the kids get ideas.

While I would love that to be true--because men who deliberately seek out dumb and less experienced women so they can feel all-powerful deserve to forever regret their choices--I don't think Jeremy's anywhere near that yet. I agree with Zahdii that it's annoyance at having to be constantly on for the cameras at this point. Right now, for Jeremy, Jinger being so clingy and brainless and friendless is very much a feature, not a bug.

In all the small churches I've gone to, being the pastor's wife has been a major job/role. While I'm sure Babe's congregation will give her some time to acclimate herself to her new role, eventually they're going to expect her to pitch in and be a perfect helpmeet for her husband.

That was my thought exactly when the courtship was first announced and I saw the website of that little church. Jeremy can't be living high on the hog from his salary as pastor there, and the classic deal with married pastors is how much the church expects the pastor's wife to do - without any compensation. Among my friends and relations, this "pastor's wife as unpaid church worker" dynamic has been true across different denominations. It's just one of many factors that create stress for pastors/ministers and their families.

If Babe continues in his career in the ministry, regardless of where he lands, IMO it's more likely than not that Jinge will be expected to pitch in and help with church activities. Which, generally, do not run on "Duggar time." She'll need to get more efficient at frying her hair with those curling irons and slapping on the raccoon eye makeup, if she's going to keep up and do what's expected of her, including being on time.

This can be true, but I have had pastors tell the church  they did not get a " to'fer", ie two for one, that their wife would  of course  be a  part of the church  but would  not be an unpayed worker. How it will be at their church  I have no idea.

I'd like to think that this is a trend, because it's so healthy and sensible, and it's not 1950 anymore.

Here's the thing.  They willingly signed up for this "free" vacation/honeymoon  with the understanding that they would have to be followed around by cameras.  This is how JOBS work.  They should be very grateful IMO.   My husband and I would have jumped at an opportunity like that as we didn't get a honeymoon -  we were scheduled to work the next day and had to pay for the roof over our heads and the food on our table.  We also worked opposite shifts... Were we tired and irritable?  Hell No! We were married and happy about it.  These people are so clueless about what real people have to do.  SMDH

I don't think that happens in Duggar land.  The wife is the "helpmeet" who has a "servants" heart.  This would be seen as the perfect opportunity for Jinge to step forward and serve God.  Much will be expected of her.

My friend's husband is a Baptist preacher.  She got out of a lot of the demands by having her own full-time job and her husband supported her.

Oh, I completely agree. I'm never sympathetic about what the Duggars must feel about being in front of the cameras...if they don't like it, there's a very easy fix.

Ok Jeremy is the best looking Duggar groom to me.

also - keep in mind that while evangelical pastor wives are always expected to pretty much live at the church and make it their job, many are paid now. Some choose to be music directors, pianists (Jinger can play), children's directors, secretaries, outreach directors, etc.

They also ALWAYS inherit some immediate fans who fawn over the pastors wife, so she will retain her snowflake status and get a whole lot of help with anything she needs.

Jinger is actually the one best suited to be a pastor's wife in my opinion.

Jeremy knew exactly what he was marrying - a naive, unopinionated, unchallenging, immature Jinger. I think he chose that on purpose. Men like this love a younger, teeny woman they can literally physically and intellectually dominate. Whether he realizes this or not, who knows. Whether he is abusive or not, time will tell.

Jinger is a follower and has always chose to live under the guidance/dominance of someone else. She can't function without a leader. First it was Jessa, now it is Jeremy. Lets hope he always does enjoy explaining things to Jinger and is good to her. At least she will have Jessa (hopefully) to advocate for her if thjngs go bad.

Looking tired - they're traveling. Jeremy looks a lot like my husband with straighter hair. He just doesn't have a big smiley grin. Even in our wedding pics he looked so much more natural and handsomer in the "serious" or "reflective" shots than when asked to smile. He's a chuckler more than a grinner, so maybe Jeremy is the same.

One problem with this scenario: Jinger wasn't raised to hold any kind of job other than Official Duggar Photographer. Other than that, she just had to show up when TLC wanted to film her this past season, the first in which she likely got checks befitting her "star" status.

I wonder how much filming they can do in that dinky apartment in Laredo? It's even smaller than the Mold House, which I recall being only 850 sf. The cameraman and boom guys probably had to film the closet scene by sitting on Jeremy's bed. A producer had to be around somewhere, too, ensuring his vision for the manufactured plot (in this case, tension between Boob and Babe).

In a way I don't think it's bad for Jinger to be in a situation where there's some obligation on her time as the preacher's wife. It gives her an excuse to go to work with him daily and actually do something -- though I imagine it may be just minding the children (bc I think they showed a kids room at the church) or simple secretarial tasks. It would allow her to get out of the house and meet the other wives in the "congregation" which can only be good for someone who has never interacted with people who aren't relatives or TLC crew. Plus it gives her something to do besides driving Jer to and from working and pining away for him the rest of the time. Though I will say she may not realize that the preacher's wife in a small congregation does a lot and she isn't exactly a hard working type of person. Though she was raised by Jessa - a bona fide bully - so I doubt she'll work too hard or do anything she doesn't want to do; chances are she'll lord her status as the handsome young preacher's wife over everyone and thus make them do everything she doesn't want to do.

We may have seen all of that apartment that we want to see.  They can show them out and about in Laredo or possibly in the church.  We probably won't get too many Laredo sessions, but a lot of back home in AR.

Who mentioned the LulaRoe dress? I saw a pic of it the other day on FJ, but didn't think anything of it. I just saw a post from Sierra, and someone mentioned the brand (as pertaining to her leggings, I later discovered).

It looks like LulaRoe is the latest fundie MLM scheme. It may even surpass JillRod's Plexus as the Product of the Moment in their circles. You can't buy the stuff unless you go to a "party" or a pop-up. As for Jinger's dress, I guess someone at the party bought it for her; otherwise, how would you know her size since she covers herself up with sweaters all the time?

That was me. There's a tag on the dress. Church circles - not just fundies - LOVE Lularoe. They say it is modest and most of it is shapeless and oversized, and y'all know how much I say people increase harping on modesty after they've had several kids or put on weight and want everyone to wear baggy stuff that hides their shape.

Plus sellers can work from home and the fans think it's somehow presitgious to wear it. You have to be invited to a pop up party or in a Facebook group to be able to buy it (or eBay).

They also vanity size to the extreme so what is normally an XL can fit into a small for a lot of styles.

I have some leggings, and they are long enough for my long inseam, but honestly most of the patterns of everything look like scrubs or something from the 90s, and the shapes of almost everything is super dumpy. Perfect for the Duggars!

If a vanity small is actually a real-life XL, what the hell size does Jinger wear? A kid's 14? They must have kids' stuff if anything is supposed to even fit Jinger really, really baggy (baggily?). Girl is the size of a pencil.

Just an example, but home shopping networks are ridiculous with vanity sizing. I'm normally an 8, and I've bought tops from QVC in XS. Jinger looks like she's a 0-2, so even the smallest sizes must bag on her. Hopefully she starts eating now that she's about to put a thousand miles between herself and the TTH.

They do have kid and tween sizes.

With the leggings one size fits a 00-12. It's all very stretchy knit stuff. I'm usually a 10-12 on top and 8-10 bottom, and a Small fit me in everything I tried on. I guess if your hiding post baby bumps or have a larger frame, the fits are more flattering than an average size person. The prints just scream 1995 to me. Not my thing. Others may love it.

LOL, I've done the same with Q clothing (and about the same sizing; I'm a 6-8, but XS in most of their stuff except Isaac, which is a bit closer to actual people sizing...I'm a small in his stuff).

That's why I pushed Jinger back to kids' sizing. I wonder if she's even a "real" size 0. The boning in the bodice of her wedding dress made her look like she had some boobs and as a result, an hourglass figure, but she's really no more than a small B cup. I guess it's no wonder that her regular wardrobe hangs like a sack on her, other than the occasional skirt she's tucked in. Jana probably had to alter those to fit because she can't have much more than a 22" waist.

I have a few FB friends who sell LuLaRoe online. No need to go to a party. And a co-worker of mine buys it on Ebay.  Other than the shirts I think most of it is form fitting. Even the dress that Jinger was holding up was on the short side and form fitting. She'll need a longer slip and a sweater.

I swear that stuff is like a drug (or beanie babies) and sellers give it as a gift hoping you'll become addicted. I own one pair of leggings and wear them as pajamas, but I have friends who wear it everyday and post #roeing pics all the time.

Oh lord, I saw a pic on FJ that I can't reduce the size of...it's Boob/Mechelle, the Duggalos, and Vuolos all sharing a joint kiss on the dais.

Almost as creepy as the pic with Smuganna and Boobchelle kissing over Mack's crib as an infant.

If anyone cares to shrink it and post it here, it's on the Jinger/Jeremy thread over there pp. 16-18. Better to pick up the picture there than all watermarked at Pickles (if she even has it). But I warn you: What has been seen can never be unseen.

Is it now a requirement to have a cooking lesson on every honeymoon? What on earth could they be making? Kangaroo stew?  Aussie food isn't that much different from what they're used to.

Guesss who else is seeking Lularoe now? Meri brown from sister wives. She is not a dynamic salesperson on her Facebook live sales. Just kind of holds up stuff and expects people to buy it. She has no future on QVC.

If Jinger can come up with the cash to start a Lularoe business, she could make bank. She has a much warmer personality, can do it from home, and has far better style than the other Duggars. Plus you know people would buy stuff just from a Duggar. Same audience of insecure women who want to shop for baggy modest clothes from home and feel like they're doing something exclusive.

I searched Lularoe on the internet yesterday, and found the clothes to be truly fugly. I just don't get it.

I don't know, you can only do so much with butt-ugly clothing. Also, I'm not sure how many potential customers can relate to Jinger's emaciated body frame.

I'm with you - I think it looks like Mom Clothes from the 90s, ugly styles, patterns, etc. but people eat it up more than any MLM sell I've ever seen. It does help that they size up to 3-4x and I get where women that size are thrilled to have more trendy options.

However, people tend to relate to what they want to look like - not what they actually look like - so Itty bitty Jinger may be able to sell to a wide (no pun intended) audience.

This is a really stupid tradition they have started.  NO ONE wants to see those people all making out.  Ok I guess I did cause I went to the page but it was for RESEARCH!

Listen you 1/2 wits, you did not invent kissing and let the gd newlyweds have their moment.  I find this so distasteful.  Its about them.  Not you you fucking famewhores Meechelle and JBoob!  Similar to the Jerrick kiss at the wedding (which I STILL have not seen since the Headship has been home!  Go find a hobby Headship!) was about THEM not the newly married that was the precise reason they were all there wearing (hopefully) clean clothes.  I see it all as competition.  Who is the most loved and the most sexed up.

One more thing.  That possum on Meecheles head needs to be put out of its misery.  She goes to the effort of having a dress which is a bit fancier than what she normally sports so the VERY LEAST she could do is something other than her typical mullet head.  She takes a fancy dress and does nothing nice with her hair so she looks horrible.

Exactly. And "I'm a 20-something recently a professional jock and I'm tired and grumpy because I have to have sex with my new honey and I had to take an all-expense-paid vacation in Australia" doesn't make it as excuses go. Sex with your new girl whom you supposedly love is fun. A vacation in Australia, with or without cameras, is fun. And you can sleep for a very large portion of that trip over there. I don't know what's wrong with that boy. But something seems to be.
