I watched that video of Jing and Jer...once again, Jinger barely speaks...Jeremy asks Jinger what she wants for the future...to answer one of the questions herself, then he preceded to answer and Jinger hardly said anything. When she did, she repeated what Jeremy said. That girl has a blank mind and was trained for her husband to 'fill it for her' daily.

Wasn't Jinger on Tik Tok a few months ago and then stopped posting after she got relentlessly skewered in the comments? I don't use Tik Tok, but I remember someone posting about it on here at the time?

Yeah whenever people mention TikTok, I feel so ancient. My one experience with it is a coworker who is like 20 years older than me  trying to show me videos one day, and though I usually like her and get along with her, I wanted to tell her to get off my lawn.

Same, I’ve only looked it at once or twice, and only downloaded the app because of the threats last year of banning it from the US (Google it) 🤣. But even some older people my age do like it, so who knows.

There's really no point in her saying anything. Jeremy wants to be the only one who talks and the only one he cares about.  He doesn't care about Jinger's wants or opinions. She does exactly what he wants. He'd love nothing more then be the only one in their videos because its all about him. But he can't because none of their followers really care about him. Its Jinger they want to see. So she's there but silent. I don't imagine its any different when the cameras are off. He does whatever he wants and he does all the talking while Jinger says nothing. She could probably go a whole day not saying a word and Jeremy wouldn't notice or care.

They are seminaries.  SBTS is Southern Baptist, Fuller is Fuller Theological, and MBTS is MidWestern Baptist.  I don't get the cultural reference (it's probably a movie I've never seen since I'm not a huge Bill Murray fan), but it appears Jeremy didn't either.  

 

ETA: Googled it, and figured out the meme.  (Yay Internet!)  Still don't know the point Jeremy was trying to make.  Probably should have just put it in his pretentious pastor friends' group chat rather than out on IG.

Anyway, I assume the "sushi" comment is like the Cannes/Seminary captioning-- some attempt by Jer to be much cleverer than he actually is? ....Since neither thing makes any sense....?

Eagan and the other young guys sitting around the table looking bored must be MacArthur's idea of community outreach. Not sure it's working. There's only so much a box of donuts can do. 

Jinger certainly did not consume that heap of carb-heavy noodles. Jer would like to go on a date again sometime? When? Next Monday?

I'm a huge Wes Anderson fan, so I know about that picture.   What really cracks me up is thinking about Tilda Swinton and a seminary.   In some gay circles,  she known as Pope Tilda for her adventurous style.   She can pull off fashion in a way that no more mortal ever could.  I would be the first one to sign up if Pope Tilda opened a seminary,  and it would bear no resemblance to whatever Fuller is.

His parents are still in town. Jer posted a picture of him and Pops playing mini golf.

I'm still not ruling out the possibility of them getting their own show, either on TLC  or one of the other trash reality networks. Jeremy's way too desperate for fame to settle for his preaching  to go no further than top 100,000 on youtube.

Their food is always the best. Jer would be better off writing a restaurant tour blog than that preachy stuff that nobody listens to or reads.
