Munichnark I am so glad you mentioned this.  I looked at the Counting on FB page and was amazed at all the unhappy leghumpers.  I'm so used to seeing only the groveling jumpers that I quit reading there.  And now the tables have turned.  Maybe it is justification for TLC to stop filming it.  Since they have so few sponsors and basically only advertise their own shows (which are equally as bad) they not only are not making any money but also with fewer viewers, are also not getting the advertising audience for their own shows.    I've noticed with shows that I have over the years that the last couple of years, they seems to fire the writers and what were good shows become garbage so even I don't care when they go away.  It's merciful.  Must be what TLC is aiming for.

What was that bullshit awhile back that either the Duggars or TLC put out about watch the next season and see some Duggar male(s) pursuing a new relationship?  I remember it because it had me thinking - they don't have any old relationships.  

As for Smuggar not having a phone, he probably makes Anna do all kinds of sexual things she doesn't want to do - because he can, and if she doesn't than he has an excuse (her fault) to use porn or to cheat and if he get's caught he can always blame Satan.   He's in a win/win, she's in a lose/lose.

For some reason, it sounded 100 percent phony to me. I guess it's partly because it was too dead-on to the posts on Duggar-horror-watch sites all over the Internet, even to using the same terms. And supposedly it was written by a hetero guy married to a fundie woman -- and the echoes of the Internet memes for the Duggs reallly didn't fit that, to me. Plus, that digression into his own supposed hot rock'n'roll courtship moment with his pre-fundie wife. That read completely like fiction to me. And maybe like fiction by some woman from one of the forums trying too hard to give the impression that she's a guy.

I guess when a story sounds just exactly what I'd expect, that seems to me to be a very big clue that it's made up. When you make something up and want it accepted, the main thing to do is to meet everybody's precise expectations.

Just one point. The author of the Reddit story did not say that Anna was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He said Anna was wearing makeup (looked like she'd taken care to put herself together), while Josh was just in jeans and a t-shirt. Looking, as compared to his wife, sloppy.

It was Josh in jeans and a T-shirt. Anna was always made up and dressed nicely. He was comparing how they were dressed.

(Sorry, didn't realize many others said the same thing.)  

If the story is true, it's a shame the man and Anna didn't talk. Maybe both Anna and Josh would realize Anna is a pretty woman and desirable to other men. She doesn't have to settle. They both need to wake up.

I was thinking about it...he blames his wife's religious Fund change on homeschooling?  That sounds a little too obvious. I'm a homeschooler and I'm not feeling his statement. of course, I'm in the heathen North East but still...  Funds like the Duggars tend to keep to themselves and not mix with the evangelicals.  So where is his mainstream Christian homeschool wife meeting all these Funds? I've been to plenty of homeschool conferences and conventions.  It's heavily evangelical and not Fund.  Unless his wife is seeking them out? 

Eh, whatever, we will never know who or what this guy is but it was interesting....

Mr E and I have been together for twelve years. I have never felt the need to go through his computer or smart phone, nor has he mine. As two worldly grown ass consenting adults, we're free to look at whatever we want, but we don't feel the need. We're much more into using the Internet for research.  Are only Duggars paranoid that anyone with an Internet connection and no accountability partner is going to be looking at porn 24/7? What is porn to them? A nude statue or painting?

Just throwing this one out here for conversation: The "bloggers" of all things Duggars have posted some kind of appeal to get KJB and J-Chelle back on Counting On, according to Pickles. After all, "everyone" wants to see them. Since those women probably ask permission to visit the ladies' room, it's most likely being engineered by the Duggars. 

Didn't Nance assure everyone that KJB, J-Chelle and Joshley Madison were no longer appearing on any show involving the Duggars? Does she realize that there are still people who will be more than happy to pelt her and the few advertisers left with phone calls, letters, e-mails... 

I know I'm shocked. How about you?

I believe that Nancy only guaranteed that Smuggly would not appear on the present season. Before that, she said that the focus would be on the kidults with Boobchelle having a very marginal role. No promises were made about Boobchelle's involvement this season, but one had to know they'd show up because fundie courtships can't happen without parents hanging all over them. 

I fully expect them to integrate Smuggly into Jinger's wedding, whenever they air it. After that? I'll sit back and watch the backlash on both TLC and Duggar social medla, specifically Duggar Fam since Mechelle sees some of it, although I think it's Jana who does all the banning. No use posting criticism to Jessa; she bans anyone who doesn't toe her party line. Jill? She doesn't read responses, so no use, really. 

The one person invested in the show who might get a jolt out of Smuggly backlash would be Ben, but outrage would have to be carefully couched in language he understands.

Are the humpers even interested in Boobchelle? To me it looks like most of their fanbase is young girls who fangirl over the female kidults, mixed in with a few conservative Christian adults who have enjoyed watching the girls grow up.  If TLC felt they must continue with this farce, they were on the right track focusing on the older girls. I predict any shift from that focus will cause backlash, lower ratings or both. And lately even a new courtship doesn't seem to be stirring up the level of interest that previous ones did so hopefully this whole thing is on the verge of implosion anyway. Of course Boob probably thinks his absence is the only thing keeping the ratings down.

Whatever "x factor" the show now lacks, Josh wasn't bringing it. He will be at Jinger's wedding, but it's easy enough to shoot around him, and that's what they'll do. He's not worth the risk. I would be shocked if even his bald spot makes it onto our screens. They rarely let JimChelle look at the camera anymore.

Geeze.  I finally suffered through last week's "episode".  What the HELL was THAT?!?!?  It screamed "here we are, fundy ladies!!!"  It was like a REALLY bad dating video for a Christian dating site mixed with the vignettes done in the earlier days for the kids.  It was AWFUL!  I wound up fast forwarding through 90% of it and stopping only to watch the few bits there were of JinJer.  Good LORD that was BAD!  If I were one of the boys, I would've felt humiliated and used.  

That was a half hour of my life I will never get back.

Hell, when Pulse was attacked by Islamic fundamentalist extremists (see what I did there?), I bet the Duggars and their ilk silently cheered, although the politicians like Daniel Webster (not even his district, although his is adjacent; Orlando is actually split in half) publicly said they were praying for the victims. I remember radio silence from the Duggars when that happened. That should surprise nobody here.

I didn't even think of Famy. Most of the season finales have ended with an announcement that I was thinking there would be some sort of announcement regarding someone courting. Although a big sit down interview with Josh also wouldn't surprise me.
