Erika gave them back!! God this bugs me to no end when its said

she did not give them up willingly this Narrative that ANDY(on WWH) and her are trying to push of oh she gave them back with no context is FALSE by omission of why she was FORCED to gave them back... she wasn't like ok here you go..it wasn't out of her being kind or giving its all bullshit.

she was FORCED  to give them up/ Turn them over when the judge ruled against her in her case... she immediately filed an Appeal  to get them back (which Andy always conveniently leaves out)  that's why they haven't sold ... She is FIGHTING to get them back .... this is AFTER knowing HOW they were paid for .. she doesn't give a shit she just wants the earrings

She got a raise and didn’t deliver on the criminal reason she got a raise. Shutting people down and going feral when anyone dare confront her on her legal drama, which is the reason she got a raise and was still on the show.

Andy and Bravo suck.

I’m sure this won’t be a popular opinion but tbh I don’t blame Bravo nor Andy.  Their job is to deliver high ratings to Corporate.  As such, they are doing their job.  Obviously, Erika and Tom are disgusting morally corrupt disgraceful thieves with no souls.  I would hate to know them.  But the worse she is the more we watch.  Only if we stop watching the show, and stop commenting on these and similar boards, only if we make it clear that we reject the show until she is fired, then they will let her go.  It’s Andy’s job to want us to watch.  It’s OUR job to say no we will not

I understand your point. It is true. However, I stopped watching a long time ago. Except for a couple of recent episodes.

I won't be back to watch again but I will continue to check in here for updates and most importantly, the PT forums snark tank!

If the courts determine that the victims’ settlement funds ended up in the Erika Jayne LLC account, and she must return the money, can they demand she return the money by using her Bravo paychecks?

There's nowhere near enough in her Bravo paychecks to make a substantial dent in what she would owe. She would need other work in addition to the show.

You are correct. That's what happened with RHNYC. The viewers rejected the last season and the rating tanked. They were the worst in the history of that franchise. And now no more RHNYC.  They haven't filmed in over a year and the show is still in limbo. The rating for BH are good so Erika and her lapdogs will return.

Can you imagine that where ever she would go for work her pay checks would be garnished for the next hundred years.  They might as well garnish Mickey & Company's too, lol. Erika could get a job as a Keno girl in Las Vegas casino and her pay would be garnished, correct?

I know we saw Erika wearing the $750,000.00 earrings, they were big square cut diamonds but I remember there was another pair of earrings a round stone with a large pear shape dangling under it, I thought that was the $750,000.00 pair...was I imagining that?

No. You are not imagining that. I saw those pear shaped dangle earrings too. They look like they would cost 750,000. The big square studs do not.

With her obvious reluctance to part with them by fighting to the finish before giving the ill-gained booty back, I would not be surprised at all if she is trying to substitute them in place of the real $750k pair. These square studs do not look at all like they cost that much. They look like cubic zirconia. If real, maybe half that price. I hope she gets caught at that flagrant attempt at lying to and trying to dupe the courts, once again.

I left this piece of shit show after the episode where Vyle showed up at Lisa Vanderpump's home and called her a liar over and over again.  The only thing missing that I would have LIKED to have seen was Ken drop kicking her skanky ass over the swan pond.  Haven't watched an episode since.  And the more I've read her about Lips McGee's and Erikunt's behaviors, I am more and more convinced I made the right decision.

I checked my DVR - yep, I've deleted all of them.

So will Rinna make a big deal over this, like she did about Kathy wearing the same shirt to Kyle’s that she wore in Aspen?

Breaking News in California:  [Quoted from MyNewsLA Contributing Editor]

The State Bar is asking a judge to order a “confidential witness” to testify and produce documents in connection with an internal investigation into whether its own employees may have assisted troubled former attorney Thomas Girardi escape discipline over the years.

Girardi was disbarred earlier this year by the state Supreme Court and ordered to pay $2.28 million, plus 10% interest, for funds allegedly stolen from clients.

The State Bar on Jan. 10 had recommended that Girardi’s law license be taken away, in large part for allegedly misappropriating nearly $2 million that belonged to the minor children of air crash victims.

The only other discipline Girardi received was a private reproval in 1999. The State Bar has hired the law firm of Halpern May Ybarra Gelberg LLP to find out why.

Because the investigation involves the handling of complaints by State Bar employees, including attorneys within the Office of Chief Trial Counsel, the chief trial counsel was recused from conducting the probe, according to the State Bar petition filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

During the investigation, Aaron M. May of Halpern May found out that a “confidential witness” likely has relevant information and so he issued a subpoena on July 11 directing the person to appear for an Aug. 11 deposition and bring the requested documents.

May cited authority for the subpoena power to an attorney for the witness, but the lawyer, without challenging the law given, argued it was barred on other grounds and the witness did not appear, according to the State Bar’s court papers.

“It is not disputed that confidential witness was served the subpoena or that he or she refused to comply with the subpoena,” State Bar attorneys state in their court papers. “As such, confidential witness is in contempt of the State Bar pursuant to (the state California Business and Professions Code.)”

The State Bar is asking a judge to issue an order to show cause directing the “confidential witness” to appear before the court at a specified date and explain why the person has not attended, testified or produced the documents per the subpoena. Both sides they are “generally available” for a hearing Oct. 28, according to State Bar lawyers.

_________________________

The State Bar needs a judge to compel a confidential witness to appear and produce documents at a deposition regarding this person's knowledge as to the identity of State Bar employees who assisted Gerardi in circumventing State Bar disciplinary action.

I’d like to know what Andy would consider to be the “last straw” with her. She is a million times worse than last year, when everybody wanted her gone, yet he was his typical, groveling self. I’d love to see the ratings over the course of this shitshow. Maybe if they get low enough, he’ll do something.

Ratings aren't great, but they are fairly consistent.  They are a little lower than last season.  I've stopped watching, but not enough have.  I'm guessing these ratings are good enough to keep the show going.

The round and pear shaped earrings were posted on a random website. Every other photo I saw on different articles showed the square ones she was wearing on the show. She said herself those were the ones, and I don't think she had any reason to say otherwise. She knows everybody is watching including the bankruptcy trustee.

A judge decided that the infamous Erika Girardi $1.4 million diamond earrings would be auctioned off. Erika could still appeal the decision.

“Successful, wealthy lawyer” who could fund Erika to live like royalty? Lawyers can do well, but not THAT well. The earrings were nothing when you think how much Tom spent for Erika to pat her puss, $40,000 on hair and makeup each month,  etc.

I can easily imagine that there are many wives (and husbands) who really do have limited or no knowledge of their spouse's shady dealings.   In Erica's case, a wealthy and successful middle aged man married a young, broke cocktail waitress.  It's a short leap for me to think he handled the finances.  The thing is, assuming she had no knowledge until the lawsuits, I think once she found out, she should have been horrified and sad.  Sad for the victims.  Maybe even sad for the fact that she was so careless with money and blowing through it when they didn't have it. Maybe even sad for the loss of her lifestyle and marriage at once.  If she was any of that, maybe she would get that compassion she craves and she herself could claim to be a victim. Instead, she exhibits every indication she feels entitled to the money - she earned it and that's that.  Screw everyone else.  It's horrifying.

They released the teaser for the upcoming reunion.  Erika is asked about the earrings.  Andy says, “you turned them over, right?”  Erika says yes.  Then Andy says, “but your trying to get them back?”  And Erika says she’s appealing “for legal reasons” WTF?  What “legal reason” could there be? I know she once claimed to be so well versed in “the law” (thanks to her association with Giarardi Keese) that she could pass the CA Bar exam, so maybe Erika Pat the Puss, Esquire could cite the legal precedent for keeping I’ll gotten jewelry?

She is appealing to get them back for purely selfish reasons.  She wants/needs them as collateral against her future expenses now that Tom’s money, possessions and career have shriveled like his balls.  She wants them for the sheer materialistic ability to say she owns $1.x million worth of diamonds.

She probably didn't know right away but where this loses me is the 25mil in her LLC.  She signed paperwork regarding this LLC and where does she think this large amount of cash came from?

I didn't see this when it happened, it is a little old, someone may have posted this already -

https://pagesix.com/2022/09/20/jon-hamm-calls-out-erika-jayne-over-earrings-drama/

Unexpected “Housewives” fan Jon Hamm called out Erika Jayne for her hesitation to give back the $750,000 diamond earrings her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, gifted her with allegedly stolen settlement funds.

“You just want to shake her and go, ‘Honey, they were never yours,'” the “Mad Men” alum, 51, said on Sirius XM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Monday. “Give them back.”

He then questioned whether the earrings are valued at $750,000 or $1.3 million, but reaffirmed, “Give them back.”

Yes thank you Jon Hamm!

Additionally, the first papers for a deposition (for the explosion victim case who didn't receive his lawsuit compensation money) were served to her at the Pasadena house in May of 2020 because she was considered as one who received the funds instead. She knew.

Does anyone know in what order Girardi's creditors will be paid? Presumably the lawsuit  victims whose settlement he stole will be paid before the firms that loaned him money?  Has the LA Times addressed that?

It depends on what claim was first. I doubt there is enough money for all.

It's pretty cut-and-dried.  It's not up to Girardi at all.  Pursuant to bankruptcy law, the court decides the priority of the claims among all creditors who filed a timely & proper claim.  Among other things, the court considers the type of debt & whether a claim was properly & timely filed against the bankruptcy estate.  A claim typically states how much is owed, to whom, when the debt was incurred, & support for the type of debt (secured, priority or unsecured.)

1.  Secured debts are paid first (I'm guessing these are debts that stem from recorded judgments against Girardi, liens/loans secured by property, etc.)  2.  Priority debts are paid next (I'm guessing these include unpaid attorney fees/costs that Girardi incurred, certain types of bills & debts.)  3.  Last paid are unsecured debts (I'm guessing these are debts not secured by property, not gone to judgment or not given priority by law.)

Once payment priority is decided for the debts/claims, valid debts are paid in that order from the money gathered in the bankruptcy estate.  If the money runs out at some point, the next in line to be paid may be entitled to be paid, but won't be paid. (Unless/until money not previously in the bankruptcy account comes in or is found - if ever.)  Or it may be that some debts get a certain percentage on the dollar.  Not sure.

The L.A. Times is unlikely to report on this with specificity - if at all  - but when decided, the bankruptcy court will issue an order in the Girardi bankruptcy matter that sets out the creditor priority.

[If anyone out there wants to point out any flaws in the above, please do. It's my very general understanding & may be outdated or flawed.]

Long story short:  There will be lots of competing claims & lots of matters for the court to meticulously wend its way through --

This is honestly what killed it for me .. I could have believed she had no “real” knowledge of what her husband was doing but when she sued to try to hold onto these it just made it look worse
