Farrah is quite stunning but Kyle's daughters with Maurico look just like him - which is fine on a guy, but not so attractive on girls. Portia in particular looked like a mini Maurico in tonight's episode ... especially in the scene at the jewelers.

LisaR's daughter Delilah looks just like HarryHamlin (tm LisaR) but not sure who the other daughter resembles.

I don't see LisaV messing up her perfectly landscaped property with a horse barn, so I bet those mini horses were shipped off to a boarding facility as soon as filming wrapped.

In the Erica and Tom marriage - nobody is getting hurt and they've made it work for them for 15 years.  At least she's not making a sport of spending his money, she's earning her own.

I wasn't buying LisaR's backpeddling with regards to Yolanda.  Either believe and support her or don't. But stop being two-faced. Especially when it's being filmed.

As far as Yolanda having moments when she seems to be a bit better. Good for her. She shouldn't have to be totally incapacitated 24/7 to garner any sympathy from people claiming to be her friends. I think aufing David will turn out to be a blessing in disguise for her because he was never as devoted to her as she was to him. Good riddance. And please don't participate in any more reality shows with your wife-de-jour. Thankyouverymuch.

See a lot of my defense of Kim had to do with the fact that there are a good amount of her grievances that are justified but because she's an alcoholic it all just goes in the "she has no right to complain" bin and "she's just so ungrateful" cause ya know it's so selfish to be an addict. I get that Kim has done bad things but I really feel that a part of this so called "monster" she's become isn't just of her own doing and I feel really sad that any sort of light she's tried to put on her side of things has always been received so callously with no intention of actually giving it any real relevance or thought. I find Kyle's contribution to the whole dynamic to be very damaging but deemed rather forgivable when I don't see that to be the case. I find it hard to see Kim being ridden so hard about being accountable all the while expecting and forcing her watch how easily Kyle gets off in her part of it all. I can actually see with a lot of clarity how a big part of that continues to affect her ability to move forward positively. I know, I know blah blah this blah blah that but I really do see Kyle and Kim as one big cause and affect that started out when the were both children. Kim's addictions started when she was a child that means something to me, I do take that into consideration. Kyle's been involved in Kim's struggles since day one and Kyle was a child as well so of course she's not going to have the most helpful or healthy reactions either. I just think that it's something they both share and I'm saddened that there is such a "good one" , "bad one" narrative with this particular story since they've both contributed to the good and the bad of the overall circumstances and it shouldn't be narrated in a way where it's one sided.  I think that, most of all, is the place Kim comes from when she takes that accusatory tone with Kyle over this that or the other.

I've always seen Kim's relationship and communication with Kyle as her trying to point out the two way street as in "you know the deal, we were both there, we've lived this story together. It hasn't been me against you or you against me or me as your jailer and you as my prisoner. It's been us for each other as family no matter who leaned on who more." I think Kim was actually surprised and hurt when she realized that Kyle allowed her resentments, justified or not, to manifest so publicly and so calculated. And as an outsider it almost looks as if Kyle actually planned it that way. I think that's the message Kim used to try and point out as well as Brandi in the last season. I know, the dreaded Brandi but again the message got lost because of the messengers but let me tell you that's how I saw the whole story play out season by season so despite Kim's heinous crimes and behaviors I still managed to drink in those details and that particular story regardless.  That why I say it's really so damn sad cause I truly believe that Kyle consciously or even unconsciously threw Kim under the bus because of basic animosity and I don't think she expected so much damage to come from it.

Yours Truly I'm quoting your entire post because you've captured so much of how I've felt about Kim and Kyle. I've always, perhaps liked isn't the right word, but rooted for Kim and disliked Kyle for these very reasons. I do think Kyle threw Kim under the bus at the end of season one (and did so deliberately) for the reasons you mention and I think Kim is entitled to feel many of the things she has felt in regards to what's happened. None of this excuses Kim's addictions or behavior because of them, but you're right that she never gets heard either for those same reasons and Kyle gets called out a lot less often on her own behavior because of how she compares to Kim.

I do think things got out of control for Kyle and the choices she made in what she would use on the show, but her behavior in season one was what cemented my dislike of her and my endless wish that Kim could have a triumphant recovery (slim chance) just so that she could for once be the "good" sister vs. the "bad" one.

What I found interesting was the wives' discussion about social media, the things they post, and why they do it.  I find this whole topic interesting, as I myself have an Instagram account but never use it - I only have it to see what others post.  The thought of having to post pictures of yourself multiple times a day to stay relevant is so odd to me.  I suspect many use it to push the idea that they are happy, have it all together, have a wonderful life, when just the opposite is true.

I find it hard to see Kim being ridden so hard about being accountable all the while expecting and forcing her watch how easily Kyle gets off in her part of it all.

I think she's accountable as much as anybody else on the show. Kim gets ridden about it because Kim refuses to take responsibility for anything at all to an extreme degree. She's not really being held to a higher standard, she's just failing to meet the minimum standard. I don't think there's necessarily one way that the family of addicts act when the person acts up in public. The "capable" role that Kyle has doesn't seem to be about stepping in and taking control of Kim--partly because Kim doesn't let her do that. That dynamic requires two people too. I think Kim much prefers the way Kyle plays it. She encourages that with the vague references to going over the edge.

I think Kyle hems and haws because she honestly is ambivalent about it. Even in this ep she on one hand made sure to report that her mother always made it clear that Kim was under a lot of pressure as a child actor that Kyle was not under (interesting given reports in the Hilton book that the girls were pitted against each other, which implies that "Kim's under more pressure than you are" is code for "Kim's got a better career than you do gets more sympathy and attention), which backs up Kim's own defenses for why she has issues, but then she also said she didn't think it was explained simply by being a child actor. (As Danny Bonaduce has answered when people ask if being a child actor caused his addiction "I wasn't getting high with the Brady Bunch.)

You know it will be Rosicia the maid who will be doing all of the work.  She does everything around that place.  But oh, like Ken said, "she is VERY privileged."

I do have to wonder, with as big as Villa Rosa is, do they have other staff? They must. I've always kind of seen Roscia as their personal maid, but figure there were a lot of other hands at work there. *shrug*

Oh my, these are fascinating observations. Now I want to watch that scene again and see if I pick up on anything.

I did a little digging around after posting about the possibility of a David/Erika hook-up, and apparently I'm not the only one who noticed the flirtation.  http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1106981/is-david-fosters-wandering-eye-the-reason-he-and-yolanda-foster-are-divorcing

Quoting from the link:

David has been accused of being overly flirtatious on multiple occasions, but tonight, fans of RHOBH caught him in the act. While meeting with good friend and suspected crush Erika Jayne, David seemed very, very interested in being more than just friends. His flirtation was returned by Erika, who, although always flirty, was especially so during tonight's episode.

There are no needles involved in ear piercing. I'm with the posters who would have just left because they were acting like big babies.

There actually is a needle if you go to a real piercer and not just the Piercing Pagoda at the mall.  In my opinion it actually hurts less with a needle than with the stupid gun.  I wasn't amused with Sofia's antics last time they got her ears pierced and was even less so this time.  I've spent my fair share of time laying down to keep from passing out after minor medical procedures, I've even spent time on the floor at the eye doctor after a severe reaction to eye drops, so I know shit happens, but you don't act like a crazy insane baby about it if you're old enough to tie your shoes.

Did anyone else catch Yolanda saying on the boat that the day she got married, or the day after, is when she first got sick?

Yes to all of this!

I'm not saying she doesn't have medical issues.  Or had medical issues.  But I agree that she's a liar.  And not a very good one.  She's lied so much she can't even keep track of what she's said.   Hence, the numerous contradictions and inconsistencies.  I really think she's unaware of how obvious it is.

I think Yo is often prone to exaggeration and hyperbole.  I don't know that she's actually a lying liar that lies, she just isn't careful at all about what she says.

The horse storyline is also a snooze fest.  I wouldn't think you would be able to keep livestock in Beverly Hills.  I live in a Pittsburgh suburb and you have to own 10 acres for each livestock animal, even if it's a chicken.  Ken's right, these horses are going to be a pain.  Where is the manure going to be disposed?  I'd like to see the blacksmith who makes that house call.  I think Lisa is just giving Ken something she wants.  Sometimes I do that...

Beverly Hills only strictly prohibits bees and fowl.  Los Angeles County in general is kind of lenient on what you can keep.  It has been a while since I looked it up, but usually depending on your zoning, you need less than a half acre for most things as long as they are not being kept commercially.  I was dreaming about getting babydoll sheep at one point and researched it.  Then I thought about having to take care of the sheep (and also my lot is way too small).  If I had a lot as large as Lisa's and the money to pay others to do the work, I'd totally do all kinds of stupid things.

Kyle is familiar with Munchausen by proxy, but she has never heard the word "Munchausen" before? I think I know what she meant, but she's such a dummy that sometimes it's hard to know.

I hope it doesn't make people look like a dummy for knowing one and not the other. Just like I only knew of Lyme Disease but apparently there is Acute and Chronic Lyme Disease. I always thought Lyme Disease was contracted through one kind of tick, but apparently it is transmitted via another tick here on the west coast, according to what people here posted, not by what YoFo has mentioned since I can't figure out what she is saying half the time.  I had known of MbP for the longest time before I knew there was just plain ol' Munchhausen. It reminds me of how some people would (and still do) think HIV and AIDs are one in the same.  MbP was, at least to me, something that was put out there by the media in the cases of a parent, usually a mother, who was charged with child abuse. The media doesn't care about the person who has only Munchhausen and seeks attention. Unless of course it is someone like Yolanda Foster. I knew exactly what Kyle meant when she said she knew only of one and not the other.

Someone over on Lipstick Alley called Yolanda.................................................Lemon Lyme......too funny!!!!

That's old school. I remember that being posted on TWoP. :-)

But did you see the quantity and velocity of it's pee?! Lisa's rose garden isn't big enough to mask the odor of 2 horses urinating all over their yard. I just think buying a mini horse for a 70 year old man is irresponsible. They live 30+ years.

My daughter's Newfoundland looks bigger than that miniature pony. I have a 125 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback (who sleeps with us) that we trained to pee in our mulch away from the house. If you scoop every day, it's no big deal. I want a miniature pony now!!

I had posted in response to someone else who raised this question. In Los Angeles County one can have mini-horses or horses depending on the zoning area and how much acres one has. We are not talking about Beverly Hills where homes are clustered together in a security-gate type of neighborhood. Lisa lives out in a more secluded-type of area where she has land and she is not right up next to another home. She lives in the hills. Just like Malibu has areas that are designated and zoned for horses, so is Beverly Hills.

I say good for Tom and Erica as well.

With regard to her earning her own money, it seems like the ridiculous Erica Jane character exists because her husband funds her costumes, makeup people, choreographers, etc., which is great for him to do to make his wife happy, but no way do I buy that silly performance is making her a breadwinner. She just offsets some of her expenses related to the character.

Ahh how I've missed the long diatribes about why Kim > Kyle.  I consider these an early Christmas present! <3

I like Erika Jayne. I have no idea who this Erica Jane is that so many of you have referenced.

This show started out with a whole bunch of Virgos: Lisa V., Kim, Adrienne and Camille all share the same zodiac sign. Now there are two Capricorns (Kyle and Yolanda) and two Cancers (Lisa R. and Erika). Those opposite signs are very underrepresented in this franchise. I believe were going to be in for something new as they pair up and face off with each other. Lisa R. and Porsha (another Cancer native) from Atlanta already share the propensity to overreact defensively when they feel threatened. I'm looking forward to more slapping.

Lol.  Yeah, calling herself EriKa JaYne really gives her that certain extra touch of class.

It's also because I don't believe for one second the fragile act Kyle puts on when dealing the her sister and her problems. There is a hardened part of that woman that comes across. I see it. Now I'm not saying that strong people don't show cracks in their armor or aren't allowed to be vulnerable but I just don't buy it with Kyle. It's for EVERY situation, in EVERY problematic circumstance she does this really unglued, spazzing, frantic thing that is just so over the top. Doesn't mesh with the no nonsense, confrontational, stern woman we've seen her to be and what I see through her camera act. Breaks in strength I get. But a woman as strong as Kyle who's dealt with what she's dealt with is reduced to an eyes darting, whimpering and oh me oh my persona regularly and on cue? Nah, I don't buy it. It's the lack of authenticity that makes me sour on Kyle Richards. Not that she isn't justified, not that she doesn't deserve some sort of sympathy but that she's not genuine and it's calculated. I can sympathize with her family plight but the way she manipulated how that sad part of her life came out and for the reasons she's done it for. I just can't.

I do not fault her for not engaging in a discussion about Kim. Nor do I think it is calculated to allow others to talk about her. She is not their keeper. She is wisely avoiding any more strife with Kathy by staying out of it. Of course it makes her uncomfortable and okay that she says so!

Agreed! Kathy can be Kim's caretaker since Kim went out of her way last season saying Kathy was the better sister than Kyle. Not to mention, she never been fond of Kyle or anyone on the show policing her addiction.

Sorry I don't agree with a lot of these new opinions about "Aww poor Kim. And that bitch Kyle is just cold for not wanting to talk about it."

We are talking about a substance abuse addiction that's gone on for well over 30 years. At some point, do you run cold with that person to me I find it normal. You've done everything you possibly could to help them and they find new ways to crap on you and blame you why they went down the road went. It doesn't stop you from loving the person but Kyle does have her own family to take care of and she needs to be away Kim's toxic behavior too.

I just started watching this show and Harry Hamlin always looks a bit dazed and confused from what I've seen so far. Of course, the episodes I've seen of any of the Real Housewives series make me question the sanity of any man who willingly engages in that environment of constant drama. Maybe he's discovered the secret sauce for maintaining sanity in that world?

My "she never said she was bedridden" comment was in the spirit of Lisa R's "shock" that she had just seen Yolanda (and then they showed Yolanda saying, 'until I'm better I am not leaving here' while sitting on her white chair in her robe) and then she "didn't understand" why Yolanda was on a boat later. I think some of the confusion with Yolanda on this board and other places is people take what she says very literally, where she really is making a point. She's gorgeous and a model so even sick she looks amazing on her boat and stuff, but when they showed her with David, she was obviously not having a great time and didn't feel well.

Yes, Yolanda has been bedridden before, but I was referring to what happened on this particular episode.

Also, her only real job, at the moment, is filming Real Housewives, so she stayed behind to film.

Farrah is quite stunning but Kyle's daughters with Maurico look just like him - which is fine on a guy, but not so attractive on girls.

Farrah wasn't quite as pretty before her nose job, which she seems to have gotten the moment she turned 16.

I expect the rest of the daughters to get theirs, soon enough.

I think Portia is a perfectly average looking little girl. I only noticed how average looking she is because she used to be such a little cutie. I'm sure she'll come out of it just fine. Her parents are attractive people who can afford to give her anything their genes don't bless her with. In the meantime Kyle could do Portia a favor and not have her filmed a ton. She's probably a delightful kid in real life but that doesn't come across real well on the show. (I swear I'm not ragging on Portia. My kids are awesome but if they were filmed and being put on TV they wold come off as raging hell-beasts and no one would like them at all.)

I am kind of at a loss as to what Kyle should be owning up to.  She has apologized and agonized about 100 times over her moment of rage calling Kim an alcoholic. So I am unclear as to Kyle's accountability.  How many more times does she have to take responsibility for being the one to talk about Kim's alcoholism-something the entire cast had to deal with all season?  When Brandi and Kim decided they wanted to take on Lisa V., it was Kim who thought it appropriate to tell Kyle about the magazines.  Kyle has been schooled through Kim's rehab to call Kim out and for self-preservation has had to set boundaries.

I think Kyle has explained she is emotional the only three really over the top no teary confrontations were Season 1 in NY with Camille and Season 2 at the party where she and Kim defended Kim against Brandi's assertions.  Again Kyle apologized for her behavior not Kim.  Carlton would be the third because Carlton was such a silly ass there was no reason to be upset.  There is a breaking point for all people and I think Kim's public behavior towards Kyle and others would break most people.  Kim on three occasions went after Kyle calling her stupid at the Poker Party and acting an ass, going after her in Holland for cowering when Kim was attacking one of her friends.  I guess Kyle could have stood up in the plane and said, "oh this is hard she is my sister and this is my friend I love, I love you both, I don't want to be in the middle."  Like Kim did on Poker night.  Then there was the Reunion where Kim was quite cocky and confident being in a no speaking mode with Kyle and making it public.

Kyle cannot win in this family dynamic.  She has two sisters calling the shots and deciding what is acceptable for Kyle to talk about and what is not.  When Kim ad Kathy want sympathy the go on Dr. Phil and included three out of four of Kim's children and talk about what a lush Kim is and the fact she has essentially been using since leaving rehab.  When Kim's vicious repeated biting dog bites Kyle's daughter it is a no-no.  When Kyle scores a sitcom the older sister gets mad because she might be portrayed in a bad light.  Yet that same sister and her daughter didn't hesitate to use Kyle and her show to publicize both the wedding and Nicky's book.  I hate to quote any NJ housewife but as Dina was told when your family is part of the show past or present you have put your family out there and their dynamic.

I was put off by Kyle trying to convince us that Portia wants to be an actress.  While it might be true that Portia has stars in her eyes, Kyle has paraded that little girl in front of the cameras since she was a toddler.  Portia, it seems to me, has grown up to be a little bit spoiled, thinking she's quite special because she's on TV.  Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that Portia needs more discipline right now and less attention.  She's a cute little girl, but her attitude is beginning to rub me the wrong way.

The older daughter was ridiculous with her drama, I thought.  I suspect that she thought getting her ears pierced was her big chance at drama, and she played it for all it was worth.  Had she been my daughter, I'd have said, "OK, let's go home," and I'd never have embraced her and coddled her the way that Kyle did.  For her part, I think that Kyle is a very loving mother, and she only wants what makes her children happy, but maybe she could step away and think about what her daughters are getting away with?

And where is Mauricio in all this?  Can he not see these little drama queens and how they're acting?  Can he not see that Portia is acting like the little belle of the ball?  Twenty years from now, will the Umansky girls be like the Richards girls, all wanting to be stage front and center?  I would have a hard time raising kids like they are, and the same thing goes for Lisa R's daughters.  While I love kids, I think Bravo should adopt a policy of "no kids under the age of 21" on their shows.  I know that I would enjoy the show more if the kids weren't on it.  There are enough drama queens on the show without suffering through child drama queens as well!

I think Yo misstepped this week in her blog.  She claimed that she is the first Housewife to ever use this platform to raise awareness and not just make money, as part of her martyr narrative.  Which is ridiculous on every level, and LVP pounced.  LVP's entire blog is a roster of her own charitable works, presumably knowing full well that Yolanda has done nothing like she has in this arena.  LVP is brilliant - she did not comment on the Munchausen thing, or on Yo's illness; she know she can't win that war.  She attacked on another front.  The woman should lead armies.

In some ways, my favorite part of the episode was watching the wheels turn with Lisa V and Kyle as Lisa R obediently trotted out the storyline.  Kyle was trying to figure out how to be a good scene partner for Lisa R, make the producers happy, and still not do anything that would get her in trouble on twitter.  And while Kyle spun around trying to find an angle, LVP literally leaned back in her seat and looked down her nose like a Lannister, giving nothing away.  Let the lesser wives flutter around the storyline, trying to do their jobs without incurring anyone's wrath.  Winter is coming.

You know nothing, Yolanda Snow, said Lisa, quietly to herself that night, ascending to her throne.

I think misstepped is a kind way of putting Yolanda's massive blunder.  I could not tell if she was speaking just to the RHOBH or the entire franchise.  Like these women or not Taylor Armstrong raised awareness to domestic violence Season 1 and the following seasons with the Umanskys and Maloof Nassif s supporting her.  Camille talked of ovarian cancer, prior to be diagnosed with her cancer, even idiot Carlton had her moments of charity, Kyle has backed the Los Angeles Children's hospital a time or two, Lisa Rinna and breast cancer and if we are talking about sheer awareness Kim Richards certainly raise d awareness of addiction. Lisa VDP is almost endless in her charitable contributions and raising awareness.  All we hear is Yolanda's struggle what about the others that suffer?  I hope after the holidays this is addressed with vigor and thank you Lisa Vanderpump for stepping up to the plate and putting Yolanda in her place.

One of my cousins worked in the office at the law firm, Masry & Vititoe. You know, the one with Erin Brockovich. My cousin met Thomas Girardi when he entered the famous Hinkley case that was portrayed in the movie. Actor Peter Coyote played Girardi's role. My cousin only had a few brief encounters with Mr. Girardi. She had nothing but nice things to say about the man. She mentioned he was the attorney handling a case in which a boy was critically injured on a Disneyland ride in 2000. My cousin told me how much Mr. Girardi was touched deeply by what had happened to this four year old boy and how he was determined to make things right for the family of the boy and to ensure the safety of children in the future. That is all I have. No actual gossip.

And what exactly did she meanby a British accent? Welsh? Glaswegian? Scouse?Brummie? Estuary?Geordie? Received Pronunciation?  That little island has more distinct accents than the whole USA. I assume she wanted her to do an RP accent .

And let us not overlook Cockney, the one that needs subtitles.

I don't have daughters, but I have friends who do, and these teen girls seem pretty "normal" from the stories I have heard -- especially in terms of how they treat their mothers.

However, the ear-piercing scenes were way OTT. I would have said "I guess you are not ready for this; we'll come back when you are." Drama, Drama!!!

Thundering applause!  I love me some Vanderpump style!  Smooth.

Re: Lisa and Harry. It's so odd to me that she always calls him "Harry Hamlin".

I don't think she's always called him that. It's her latest obnoxious affectation. At her birthday lunch, LisaV noticed that he was listed in Rinna's cell phone contact list like that and joked about it. So....since Rinna's Lord and saviour, LisaV, thought it was humorous, Rinna ran with it and now we'll have to hear him referred to as HarryHamlin all season long. HarryHamlin! ! ShutUP! ! !

Kyle had her doing an imitation of LVP last season (or the one before that) so maybe it was that somewhat specific posh LVP British accent she was going for. I think there was a "daarrling" involved.

Erica Jayne looks a lot like MTS / Nikki from Young & Restless !

When her hair is pinned back her face is so similar. Nikki was a stripper who found love with an older very rich proper man also.

She does look like Nikki and the storyline is eerily similar!!

Speaking of YR, Eileen Davidson played Ashley Abbot who also was involved with the same older very rich man, Victor Newman, as Nikki.

I can never quite figure out Lisa's accent. I *think* its an exaggerated RP, but I 'm not sure.

I never understood the big deal about it BC I have my husband listed under his name in my phone, not "husband"
