So this white womenwho parses her “contract not being renewed” as not the same as being fired which these people are all on one year contracts so no Bravo person was ever fired! Hell even the Stassi and Kristen announcement was not that they were fired but that they wouldn’t be going forward with the show is to be taken seriously on her opinions about LeeAnn’s racism? Yeah no.

Yep, she’s trying to protect her image. Not renewing their contracts is how Bravo fires the housewives. Either that of they offer them a really cruddy contract so they will decline. 

LeAnne looks harsh in that photo upthread. Did she get cheek implants? NOT a good look!

Understandably ,filming may have been delayed due to Covid quarantine .

Filming was pushed back because of Covid, but the ladies are currently filming.  I have seen some pics of the ladies out together wearing face shields.

Great news about December! I need more of Kameron's business presentations in my life. (The colored marker and magazine pictures-glued-onto-bristol board with glitter!  kind.) And more of her near-successes at apple corer operations.  And Sparkle brand pink dog food, that may or may not contain sparkles. 

Light, bemused sighing at these ladies, not heavy, what has become of humanity sighing, is what I want.

Kam has grown on me over the years and I hope it will continue now LeeAnn is gone.  She is ridiculous but she knows, and I appreciate the times when she drops the veil for the viewer to see.

How terrible for her family. I'm so glad her daughter is going to recover. Still so terribly sad for her husband and his sisters. 2020 is just so rough.

Brandi is pregnant again and due in 2021. 
 

WTH? She couldn’t handle those girls of hers and then added Bruin. Now she’s having a fourth? 🙄

I’m all about children being blessings but damn it, those blessings NEED tuned in parents to raise them and invest in their wellbeing, not just ‘play parents’ who throw toys/candy/money their way to pacify them and shut them up. 
 

I do hope, however, that this pregnancy brings some happiness and excited anticipation to the whole Redmond clan as they grieve the loss of their mother/grandmother/MIL!

Seriously...I wish I could be happier for them too, but Brandi seemed so overwhelmed and her daughters act so bratty that I genuinely worry for that household’s sanity now. Someone snarkily commented under the Bravo announcement about it on Instagram, “STOP BREEDING.” I feel guilty that I found myself nodding over that sentiment; hope she somehow is able to reign those girls in and parent them appropriately before she loses all grip on them and they become rebellious teens.

I guess since she has a nanny (or nannies), its easy to just have another kid and not really have a second thought. I'm sure I would have had more than one child if I had a nanny too!

I'm out.  As a LeeAnne fan, her being fired was necessary.  Fully onboard with it, consequences have actions.

But apparently if you are racist towards people of Asian descent, Brandi, that racism can be excused by a spa getaway and 11 seconds of insincere apology with 20 minutes devoted to how she was victimized.....

I am out, too.  This is the first time I have ever ACTUALLY removed a housewives show from my dvr.  I have threatened before!  But this time I actually did it.

If racism is a fire-able offense, then Brandi absolutely should have been fired, as well.

I may still read the comments here - if people turn on Brandi or Kary B, I want to know all about it.

Dallas was my favorite of the real housewives series at one time, but I can't decide if I want to watch it anymore. D'Andra annoys the crap out of me and so does her mother, Kameron thinks she's Elle Woods, Brandi is nuts and has bratty kids, Stephanie seems too mentally frail to be on tv, and Kary is awful and has no personality.

I'm not sure if it's because Brandi was racist toward Asians or because what she said wasn't done on the show. I bet producers just hope the least amount of viewers are aware of Brandi mocking Asians as possible. Lots of people watch the show but don't follow the women on social media or read blogs and whatnot. IRC, I heard about it on this forum. I'd have no clue otherwise.

I detest racism and frequently discuss the topic with people I know who dismiss it. I'm sure many of us have debated it during 2020. I too loved LeeAnne's brand of cray until this last season. She just made way too many comments for me to think she put her foot in her mouth and isn't at least somewhat bigoted. The reason I'm going to continue to watch the show is because there's so much I detest besides racism/xenophobia. All the different cities seem to have some sort of vile behavior. I don't necessarily see some of the ladies on BH as better people just because most of them haven't said anything racist. If you're bullying your cast-mates, making money dishonestly, screwing people over, I am not okay with that either. If there are still some women on the show I enjoy and I get the lifestyle porn, I'll continue to watch. I guess I don't expect Housewives to be the most upstanding women on the planet. Lots of people are anti supporting these shows period, but I love the lifestyle porn too much and don't know how else to get it. It's also a great escape for when I've had enough news/politics. Now if the entire cast becomes full of people who are racist (or con artists/bullies), I'd be out at that point. Sort of like a certain news network with lots of racist anchors. There are guilty pleasure shows and folks who have different views, and then programming that literally leaves me feeling gross.

What I will give LeeAnne is that she really did give a lot to the show. Vanderpump did too, but not in a way that was difficult or painful most of the time (until her last season). LeeAnne talked a lot about her childhood, didn't expect the others to carry the show, made fun of herself, didn't pretend to be perfect, etc. She gave us the good, the bad, the ugly. Vanderpump kind of enjoyed being charming and funny but fancied herself the perfect one and preferred the rest of the ladies to carry the drama and the headaches. I'm a fan of hers and was on her side much of the time but totally got why she annoyed the others.

I think it’s 2 fold... I literally just watched both episodes of the reunion today... Leanne at no point seemed genuinely upset that what she said hurt anyone ... she was more upset with how it made HER look ... it was all about Leanne ... Brandi and her comments Brandi didn’t deflect like Leanne did .. so that’s a reason I think Bravo didn’t fire her... the 2nd is that yes it will make people tune in and see when the new girl calls her out with it...

I really liked Leeanne’s brand of humorously unhinged crazy from the first several seasons, but this last season she seemed super bipolar and borderline manic depressive...like every time there was something fun going on she had to somehow bring it all back to her own sob-story childhood. Her insane mood swings got really old really quickly and made me wonder if she was going through menopause at the time of filming.
Couple that with her aggressively racial attacks against the new Latina cast member, and I was completely *over her* midway through last season. It’s a shame, because she was awesome TV before then!

What shocked me about LeeAnne is that I thought she was smarter than that. It's sad there are so many racists in 2020, but a lot of them know how to hide it.

Her using every excuse in the book to try to worm her way out of it and being Shut down each time with being called out on whatever she was saying being a lie then her crying with no tears killed me lol.... she is a psychopath seriously and a habitual liar ... rewatching both of those reunions today without the noise of the season or online just was really eye opening .... just seeing how she works and not really realizing it on the first watch

I'll still voice an unpopular opinion and say that I don't think Leeanne was racist as much as she was a crazy bitch.  Kary was all about her Mexican-ness ("Don't tell me these streets in Thailand are dangerous!  I'm Mexican and I know what dangerous streets are like!") so Leeanne attacked her there.  If she had been all about "I'm the best mother" Leeanne would have attacked her there.  Should she have known better in 2019?  I'll give you that 😄

“Friend of” Jennifer posted on Instagram that D’Andra is in the ICU with COVID. Wow, I hope she recovers. I’ve noticed the Dallas women are certainly out and about based on their social media, so hopefully none of the others catch it. It’s no joke.

Peacock tv app has all 4 seasons of RHOD.  You can sign up for the service and some of the programs are free to watch...Dallas is one:)

Interesting

This makes me sad. I still enjoy the show. While I was a Miami fan, I disagree about it being so much better. The Miami cast had so many aggressive personalities and more fighting and less friendship. It wasn't a show I enjoyed rewatching or having on in the background. Dallas at least has Kameron and Stephanie, and now D'andra wants to be a gentler person. I also like seeing the friendship between Brandi and Stephanie.

Me too.  The Dallas housewives just has a lighter tone to it, which I enjoy.
