Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

I hope if she's keeping the RV out on the Flats that she had it properly winterized; otherwise, things could get ugly in the spring.  I also wonder where she could find a rental just for the winter for two people in Flagstaff; apartments won't likely rent that short a time, and AirBnBs and such would be really expensive.

I suspect so.  The horses with asses of fire, stationary bike and her gym shoes are probably all lost in a jumble in a storage locker.  I recall that she used an inability to find her gym shoes as the reason she hadn't exercised in 5 months.  They were in her vehicle, ready for a trip to the gym, the whole time.

It’s a bullshit excuse for sure. If I couldn’t find my workout shoes, I’d immediately get replacements and be happy I had 2 pair (after I eventually found the missing ones).

People who are committed to working out will find a way. Janelle isn’t one of those people—after all these years, she still looks the same because she can’t find her shoes or put down the pumpkin spice junk food (she sure can find THAT just fine).

When will Janelle realize fitness and weight loss is a committed, long-term, slow and steady complete lifestyle change? That Plexus crap isn’t doing her any good (or diminishing her craving as she claims).

The fact is, Janelle is not willing to give up her junk food addiction. She’d rather find magic potions that let her still eat it and that DOES NOT WORK. She also probably hates that it takes actual WORK to make (and keep) progress.

I grow tired of hearing the depression excuses, the this, the that.  I have those issues, too, so do lots of women—the struggle is real. I just hate posers like Janelle who claim stuff works yet she shows no improved fitness. Straight up I think Janelle is lazy and delusional.

Many apartments will rent to you month to month.  They just charge you a much higher rate per month. The last apartment I lived in charged an extra $200-300  a month, depending on the size of your apartment.  But if you needed it for at least 6 months, they encourage you to sign a 6 month lease as it was  cheaper than month to month.

Agree.  Any pair of tennis shoes/trainers can be used for a work out.  Unless she needed specific shoes for the workout bike.

Janelle is always looking for reasons not to work out or go to the gym… like she was driving to the gym but her car veered off the road and into the donut shop parking lot, her wheels locked and she was forced to go inside or starve to death!

what’s up with her, I thought plexus was the miracle cure for all her problems 🙄

I saw a pic of her the other day, her face was red as a beet and blotchy like she was out of breath and ready to burst a blood vessel, she didn’t look healthy at all!

Screenshots from videos, rah rah Plexus!

She discussed the two products she uses. One got rid of the “sugar monster”, another is gut related.

She also says she has to keep track of when she has eaten because it’s such a great appetite suppressant. But best of all, she says she now has eyelashes for the first time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

She needs to stop looking up when she’s speaking, it suggests dishonesty, imagine?

And Janelle would think this is bad because...........?  Money apparently grows on trees for her.  I would be surprised if the cost would faze her at all.  This probably is her plan.  This family has no money management skills at all, and they are certainly not economy-minded.  They drive me nuts.  (Did they ever return the rental trailers they were paying rent on?)

Did Jenelle buy the RV? If so, I can’t imagine wasting money on something you only plan to live in four or five months of the year when your child doesn’t have a full-time home to live in. They didn’t even travel in it, which to me is the whole point of an RV. Instead, she just sat it on prairie dog lane so she can look at a whole bunch of nothing.

Finite Resources - Janelle's favorite phrase, as bookkeeper, tax accountant and smart one in the Brown family.

Plexus grows eyelashes?  Wow, sign me up!

She looks 100% unchanged.  Based on the BS she's been shoveling to her followers she should be glowing from good health, with a BM every hour on the hour, and at least 50 pounds lighter.  In these screen shots I see no change except it looks like she put on some mascara so she could claim the Plexus did that.

Looking forward to the inevitable post about four days before Halloween where she tells us that thanks to Plexus, she only ate one bag of mini Snickers instead of her usual three.

Did she always have such big bags under her eyes?… and Plexus grows eyelashes?? 🙄

Mahamid Frauded Me, you are a treasure! I have to remember to not take a drink while reading your posts. Thank you!

thank you, think of it as "My Friday with Friends", I won't be bitchy, mean or wear globs of mascara. I won't try and sell you something crappy. However, I can't promise that a little adulty bevy has not passed through my non brown teeth into my belly

She's supposedly doing a "spooktacular slimdown" and yet the first thing she mentioned is snacks and eating half of a very large high calorie movie popcorn even before the movie starts.

I feel bad for Savannah as it appears from recent photos that she is also getting to be VERY overweight. Part of it is probably genetic but I'm sure it's mostly environmental.  At her age especially, being overweight is tough. I know from agonizing personal experience.

ETA - Janelle's gums look as unhealthy as usual.

I guess being around the rest of the family, is no longer an issue as I see Robyn's children there at the movies with them.

At first glance I thought that was Dayton next to Savanah, but I think it's Garrison and next to him is Gabe.

You should have considered a career in journalism as a sob sister! (You know, writing newspaper columns and so where sad and whiny people send their every day problems to and hope for a kind and understanding reply, which they never get?)

Or  maybe you can have your own thread here within the primetime Sister Wive universe and call it “snarking the wives with sob sister Mahamid”! (Now how do I bribe the moderators into allowing this🤔)

I agree.  The three are Janelle's kids.

Robyn's got her five + one kids all to herself, just the way she planned.  (Kootie is the + one.)

Have Robyn’s kids ever really been fully accepted by the Brown kids? To me it always seemed that they were tolerated but no more than that. It’s not just about coming into the family at a later age, which doesn’t help in these situations, but an over-protective mom doesn’t help either.

And since the McMansion and Covid Robyn completely isolated her kids from the rest. So why would Janelle bother with taking them on a night out?

Cinema popcorn can contain up to 30 teaspoons of sugar and almost the daily recommended intake of salt in one box, according to an article I read.

I think the article to which you are referring is evaluating the theater special that includes a large popcorn and pop.  There isn't any sugar in theater popcorn, I used to pop it.  It's just oil and popcorn.

I just checked several medical web sites and yes somehow there is added sugar in cinema popcorn.  I too just thought it was corn and oil.  Maybe it is added to the oil?

Any bets on whether she asked for extra butter on that popcorn?

I'd guess it's a given that she did.  Typical.  When's the slimdown going to happen?

Never.

Yup. NEVER—unless she ditches the “magic potion” for actual WORK that includes consistent diet and exercise.

It’s deplorable that Janelle selling such dishonesty with pride. It’s disgusting (I think she thinks it’s working). Meanwhile, she’s still a candy-corn and popcorn-inhaling, lying blob.

Nome of the women in that family doing plexus appears fit or healthy. Christine might be thinner than the rest, but she doesn’t appear fit. Sometimes she looks downright haggard (but, life amongst that family might do that).

These women are no better than the lying snake oil salesmen of centuries past.

  • Love 12

And what's even worse, they're not selling the snake oil per se - they are all about signing people up to their downline. People taken in not by health claims but the untold promise of making tons of money. I have no doubt that both Maddie and Janelle are making money - it's the initial signups where they make the most.

Reading the "AntiMLM" sub at Reddit is an eye opener.

Can't speak for everyone, obviously, but we used just coconut oil out of a jug, no additives.  Are they perhaps calling the carbohydrates "sugar"?

I have never in my life had sweet plain popcorn - I would certainly think 30 teaspoons of sugar (2/3 cup) in a serving would be discernible!  Commercail poppers make up to 75 pounds of popcorn in an hour - that would require pounds of sugar if it were truly added.
