You can't tell me that if anyone else besides Beyonce, who gets her ass kissed no matter what, named their kids "Blue Ivy" or "Sir" they wouldn't get mocked? Ashley Simpson named her son Bronx. Someone (who exactly is slipping my mind right now) their daughter Moxie Crimefighter.

Not the minute they were born, but my cousin. Her husband was dead set on naming their daughter after his mother "Fabrizia" after a short time people started calling her Rizzie. She's 6 now and is still called that by some people.

Well, I was a child and my creative grandmother was allowed to bestow on me in the mid 50’s. LuWayne. I stuck out like a sore thumb in So Cal during all my school years. It was uncomfortable. I changed to my name to AntAnn when I moved to a new school, lol. I gave very ordinary names to my children and they dislike those because everyone has their name. I think there is no right answer.

Depending on how you look at it, a lot of people. Christophers are automatically Chris, Williams are instantly Billy, Katherines are Kate. Chicago being Chi isn't really any different. Now, if they called her Betty or something, I would question it.

I think nicknames at babyhood is common if they're named after a person or have a name traditionally shortened (like Christopher or Elizabeth ect). Also calling the baby an affectionate nickname like Nugget, Bear, Buster ect by parents is common. But at or before birth when choosing a very original name and automatically deciding not to use it in favor of something else is a bit weird. It's like naming a child Saturn and saying "oh... but when she's born we'll call her Sati" how about .... just naming her that? Or son Military and telling everyone he will go by Miles I mean really?

This baby isn't even two weeks old and Kim is already bored. I figured Kim wouldn't be able to bond with Chicago considering she's not even bonded to the two that she carried, but this is pathetic, even for her.

She doesn’t have to “bond” with it. The only reason she stayed out of sight and “bonded” with North and Saint was to avoid being photographed until she lost some weight.  Now that she’s achieved MILF status (in her mind) she’s not going to waste time breastfeeding and watching the nanny change diapers. She’s gonna get her picture taken. After all, it’s not like Kanye wasted anytime bonding, he was back at work, creating something genius I’m sure, within a day or two of the birth.

 

Looking at those pictures it appears that the guy in the brown shorts was quite excited to see Kim in all her barely veiled glory. I’m betting she noticed it also.

Kim's definitely losing it. I can't tell if she's trolling or genuinely unaware of how bad she looks, doing a naked photo shoot while her week-old baby is left with the help. I get that you can't stare at a sleeping newborn 24 hours a day, but she also has two other children adjusting to the presence of a new sibling. Kanye is certainly no better. Makes me wonder what the hell was the point of having this child when neither parent seems all that interested in her.

It’s why she used a surrogate in the first place. She didn’t want to go through another pregnancy, gain 50 lbs, give birth, get a boatload of plastic surgery and diet... All the while staying out of the spotlight.

  I never believed Kim's B.S. that North hated her little brother. It was just Kim's way of using North to get media attention just as she did when she pretended that 3-year-old North had "accidentally" posted sexy pictures of her mommy from Kim's phone.  Also, I suspect that is was Kim projecting her own feelings about her little son onto North. As soon as I heard that Kim's third child was a girl, I predicted that Kim would start posting that North adored her little sister. I just came across this on my Instagram feed. I don't know how true it is but it brings up some very valid concerns and maybe parents should talk to their kids about how it's okay to idolize a celebrity you don't have to copy everything you see them do.

Well, none of the Kardashians have ever pretended to be a role model especially someone who's claim to fame was a porno so its not like they are going to watch their image or try and cater specifically to young kid. But the sad reality there are teens that look up to them. However..a 13 year old? IMO her social media and internet activity should be monitored. I wouldn't allow my daughter to have an Instagram or Facebook account when she was 13.

It's even more difficult to monitor them when they all have smart phones, and they don't need Facebook or Instagram to keep up with Kim and crew. A quick Google search fixes that. It's hard parenting a child now to me it seems, and I don't have any children.

I'm going to sound so old when I say this but...I keep waiting for the pendulum to shift.  For this "naked" look to go away.  For this "walking around flashing my tits and ass is about empowerment" b.s. to go away.  Because it's not about empowerment.  It is about whoring yourself out for attention and approval.  This isn't fashion.  It's not innovative.  It's not forward looking.  It's nothing more than desperation and hypocrisy.  And it doesn't look good.
