Forgot the most enjoyable little blip of the night.  Tamra's TH about Heather's spending threshold.  "Well.  I guess Heather and Terry's $10,000 is mine and Eddie's $1,000.   That was everything.  Her face nearly cracked open from fake smiling so hard.

Vicki, Tamra and Shannon gave a great AbFab impersonation!

Ahh, AbFab what a great show! "I want total sensory deprivation and back-up drugs, all right!"  - Eddie

I was laughing at  them from the safety of my own home, but I would be mortified to be with them in person and annoyed as fuck to be subjected to them if I was a paying customer there.

I agree 100%   That's why I love these shows. It's like having friends you never have to talk to and can judge them all you want without feeling bad about it. Is that sad? I'm worried it might be a little....

I don't know a single person growing up who was allowed to have sleepovers. I wasn't either. Our parents were pretty strict. In my culture, sleepovers with children who are not relatives are unheard of. I suppose things are very different in American culture, but I didn't think it was a big deal when Shannon said she didn't allow sleepovers.

And honestly, I would be pissed if my husband hosted the first sleepover ever for our children and one got injured. I know it's not the end of the world that the little girl got hurt, but I think Shannon was sad a rite of passage happened, she missed it, and her kid got hurt. I know that TPing is viewed as harmless fun, but you never know how a homeowner will take it as well. My neighbor got TPed one Halloween and she was livid enough to call the cops.

I'm sure David said a little prayer before he called Shannon. He knew she was going to be upset. She actually took it much better than I thought she would.

David let the twins sleep over at their friends house, he was not present when they TP's the neighbors house.

Not sure I'm following, but if these girls on the sleepover were only 10 years old, then yeah, I'd have a problem with them leaving the house and TP'ing someone's home.  Like many dads, David probably wasn't paying very close attention to them!  lol

David was not the parent in charge, they were at a friends home, not at David's/Shannon's home.

It's really insensitive and dismissive to the mother's role in their children's lives. It's one thing to say you love your step children, or even that you love them like they were your own, but to say you wish they were yours? Again, what does that say about their mother? That being said, I thought Vicki and Tamra were entirely out of line in telling Meghan that you can only love a child if you give birth to one. Vicki, in particular, was being her typically rude, cruel, and obnoxious self.

Who would you least want to go on vacation with? Vicki or Ramona? This needs to be a WWHL poll question.

Vicki. she's too rude and obnoxious for me.  Ramona, could deal with her craziness.

I must need a vacation, because I laughed until I cried at Vicki, Shannon and Tamra. I loved they cut from them to Heather's group and we see Lizzie was yawning. Honestly, I'd rather be whooping it up than be with Meghan.

The flashback scene to Vicki screaming on the ski slope that she had never been with multiple partners, then flash to Vicki wrapped around the guide in the water, with Shannon wrapped around Vicki. That was gold.

I also loved Heather's TH at how childish it is to TP a house -- camera cuts to flashback of Tamra and Vicki toilet papering Jeana's house.

This episode was pure comedy to me and I loved it. I feel sorry for Shannon, she is feeling so insecure. Also, I would not need to know about the injury or TP'ng while on vacation/out of town work. There's nothing she could do, and it wasn't serious.

My kids had sleepovers all.the.time. I loved a house full of kids.

Shut up Meghan.

You're brave for answering. I honestly can't decide - they're both that bad. My dream is to stay in one of those huts in Tahiti, and yet I'd probably fake an emergency to get out of a vacation with either one of them - that's how much I despise them. I have a low tolerance for pain.

Alcohol should have it's own tagline on the Housewives shows. " Hi, I'm Vodka, you might be able to see right through me but I will get you blind drunk!" :-)

Now, now, not blind drunk. It would be "get you naked wasted!" Lol. I'll see myself out now. :)

Yes and good point. As I see it, the unending screeching and non-stop drunken episodes simply tells me that their sell by date is, indeed far,l far away...it can only been seen in the rear-view and fading into the sunset.

I grew up with alcoholics in my family; I don't find drunks amusing, funny, spontaneous or fun-loving. I find it ugly, distasteful, sad and--if being drunk is a requirement for a good time, pathetic and needing professional help.

You totally hit the nail on the head about what bugged me this episode. Having a Father and other family members with drinking issues I also don't see the humor in them getting shit faced. I am not a prude social drinking is fine, I have just never seen the appeal of going so overboard.

Annoying as she is I kind of understood what I think Meghan was trying to say. And in her usual fashion Vicki was too harsh. Just like she was about stay at home Mothers and how they shouldn't spend their working husband's money. Or some shit she said to that effect.

Tamra seriously we don't need to see your knockers anymore. Stop trying to make yourself and the world believe you are the hottest anything.

Lizzie, meh, almost forgot she was there.

Shannon is so much more likeable when she is not bringing up her husband's affair every ten seconds. She just needs to stop mainlining vodka.

Who would have thought Heather would be the most likeable to me in this episode! Love how excited she was about their accommodations it looked amazing! Would love to visit as long as my neighbors weren't shreiking, bat shit crazy fame whores.

Ahahaha!  I loved that too [and the tp flashback and dancing to the ringtone and really all of it]  because to me it shows The Vickster keeps it real - even after all these seasons I think that when it comes to Vickie, what we see is what we get.  Most of what we see isn't very flattering but it's entertaining as heck.

Sleepovers!  For me, it's a part of growing up.  I'm 75 and still remember the first slumber party I attended when I was twelve.  For most people, it wouldn't be necessary to give the vacationer blow-by-blow of anything that happened with the kids, but with David?  He'd never hear the end of it.  Since Shannon couldn't do anything to help the "possible fracture," why not wait and let the shit hit the fan ALL AT ONCE?      I had boys and I loved a houseful of kids too!    TP'ing is mild...but one of our new neighbors did call the cops.

I also concur with the Crooks cancer story being something from the past.  Is it just me but I would not be going on business trips unless absolutely   necessary let alone a vacation away from a your stage 3 cancer patient/ spousal equivalent.  Lived through. I find it bizarre to be so casual and remark that he is not getting any better with chemo after 3 rounds of the "dose" they were giving him.   So many ways to adjust it.  When she was told the guys were going out she said I wonder if he has eaten, he had not been eating. Yeah so let me jet off and leave you the kale and carrots and I will bring you back a t shirt. Most oncologists and people in the business of cancer say eat what tastes good when you can.

Chemo can give people back their life. Granted after awhile it is a quality of life if it is not working but the way they have told the story three rounds and not getting better?

Can't Andy Satan devote a WWHL show to Brooks and his cancer "specialist" (quotes used because I'm not sure he is taken care of by a doctor)?

If the bond between a mother and her biological child is so special that it can't ever be replicated, then there's no reason for the mother to be jealous of or hurt over the step-mother having a good relationship with the child.

I agree. I'm a step mom to my late husband's son. He's grown now but was 7 when I came into the family. I used to tell his mom all the time that I wished he was mine. Her response was to tell me how much she loved hearing that and she was so happy that I loved him so much.

Is Meghan supposed to say she can't stand the kids and are thrilled that they aren't hers?

Vicki is the most insecure woman I've ever seen on TV, second only to Wendy Williams.

I think Shannon was more upset about her daughter breaking her foot with a soccer tournament coming up than she was about the teepeeing.  Also, I think she was a little peeved about a "first" (as in, sleepover) happening without her.

This. The foot injury is significant, IMO.

One thing I like about "Miss Fancy Pants" Heather is that she shows genuine appreciation during their travels, from the accommodations to the food to the outings. She's game to jump right in with the sting rays and the sharks and make the most of it. First-class travel is nothing to her, but most of us will never get a chance to do such a thing or stay in such an amazing place. At least I could live vicariously through her!

Meanwhile, Vicki and Tamra could as well have been at the local Holiday Inn Express for the way they were conducting themselves.

What you said to your stepson's mother was kind & flattering.  What Meghan has said is anything but.  To me, Meghan directly implied she wanted to replace her stepchildren's biological mothers.  Big difference.  Sounds like a vile thing to say or imply.  Meghan is a nasty obnoxious character.  It makes me uneasy how she wants recognition for being nice to her stepkids.  i don't care for that at all.

Shannon has to back off, stop micromanaging everyone and allow him to co-parent their daughters. JMO

I just see it differently.  Either David is so out of touch that he doesn't know his girls don't do sleep overs, or he deliberately flouted the rules.  I rarely was allowed to stay the night at other people's homes, but my house was always open to anyone.  I did not feel deprived.  As far as we know, this is Shannon's rule as well.

I'm sure there's a reason Shannon has set up this rule.  When I was growing up, molestation wasn't talked about much, but my mom had been molested, therefore she was vigilant.   I'm sure Shannon knows her children's friends' parents to a greater degree than David.  As far as we know (and Shannon is not about to mention it on air), the mother of that house is a falling down drunk.  Or maybe the father likes to knock his wife around.   Or perhaps the parents engage in drug parties while their children run wild.  Just because they're affluent, doesn't mean their children don't face the same risks as your average child.

So should Shannon be mad at David - I don't have a problem with it.  Either he dropped the ball, or he wanted the children out of the house for some reason.  I think the point that's being missed is this - Shannon was right to be concerned, there was improper supervision, the children snuck out of the house in the middle of the night, and they engaged in risky behavior.  David has brought this "I told you so" on his own head.  Who has the greater responsibility to the Beador children, David or some random parent?

I kept thinking about Steve Irwin getting killed by a stingray.  Being harmed by one must be an extremely rare occurrence since the boat guide takes people out there for the purpose of getting in the water, but still.  I would have been far too worried to get in water, or even in the boat for that matter.

Oh, Gromit, I think it is rare...but Steve Irwin's stingray attack was probably worse (according to reports) because of filming.  Camera crews needed to herd the ray for filming, so I don't think your concern is overly cautious.  Everything we see is filmed by a large group of people and equipment we never see.

Yeah, it seems like Meghan wants a pat on the back for being a decent human being.

I don't get that vibe but I certainly see that Vicki isn't going to give her an inch.  It's nothing but pick-pick-pick, bitch-bitch-bitch, and CONFRONT!  Vicki's jealousy is always ugly.

I am not sure that Meghan on the outset wanted a membership "in the pudding club". However, tendrils of suspicion and fear may be swirling as to ole Jimmy's upcoming or,perhaps, even FORTHcoming plans. And, Meghan may desire The Particular Membership posthaste in an effort to obfuscate "Baseball Jim's" possible perception of Meghan as a 4th err.

Here's the thing that bothers me about Brooks and his cancer, and I'm sure things have changed since my mom had it 10 years ago (sasha206 you can probably confirm--sorry to hear about your husband), but rule #1 during chemo was that she was not allowed to have uncooked fruit or vegetables. The whole rationale was that eaten raw, they could compromise her immune system and cooking them would kill off any bacteria thereby making them safe. So to hear that books is juicing is a red flag to me. Again, maybe things have changed but I would want my loved one to be as safe and careful as humanly possible. I'd be cooking any fruits or vegetables and having them drinking bottled water. I also wouldn't take them on vacation or GO on vacation without them during treatment. Brooks is the tannest and most fit cancer patient I've ever seen.

As for Meghan, psh, I can't even waste brain cells by thinking about her. Bye Felicia.

Question for those of you who think Vicki and Brooks are in on a fake cancer scam. I can see Brooks having a reason, but what do you think Vicki's motivation is? The only thing I can think of is storyline, but being the OG I don't think she'd risk being on the show by telling such a huge lie. I think she tells small to medium lies all the time

I don't think she's doing it for storyline. I think brooks moved in with her and so she said he had cancer to get people to back off and feel bad for him. I don't think he ever had cancer. Ever. no one has ever believed the story. I think vicki did not want the cancer part of the storyline, but bravo insisted it be discussed. She and brooks are both in this and I think she rsLizes it's a huge mess.

Wow ... you just insulted every adoptive and other non-traditional parent out there. Meghan crossed the line with "I wish they were mine," but other than that, they were incredibly condescending toward her.

This is not at all what was happening.  They did not insult adoptive parents at all.  When you adopt a child you become their parent, essentially their one and only parent, they ARE your own.  When you marry someone who shares custody of their children with their ex, they are NOT your own, they have parents already, and you are the step-parent.  It is totally different.  I understood completely what Vicki and Tamra meant.  Megan was out of line.  If she ever does end up having her own kids with Jimmy she will get to see exactly what they mean eventually for herself when wife #4 comes along.

Shannon and David have three daughters, correct? Were all three of them at the sleepover? I had a younger sister and she was not always invited to sleepovers; usually they were just a few other girls of my own age/grade. So I guess I do think it's weird if David had all three girls out of the house because that seems unusual to me. I'd need to know more details. Maybe he was just glad to have an evening alone to watch porn while eating baked potatoes and other forbidden snacks.

Brooks and the cancer story is also weird. I'm starting to agree that Vicki got herself into a much bigger lie than she can manage. It seems like a cover story for why he's hanging around her house doing essentially nothing. Oh wait! He has cancer so he can't get a job and he has to do all this juicing so he can heal, but gee, it has the side effect of making him lose weight and look more trim. Hmmm... If it's a lie, then it's a brilliant one because it involves private health records and things that are legally protected thus harder for the tabloids to get hold of.

I guess I'm in the minority based on my own experience, but as a child of the 70's slumber parties and TP'ing was sort of the norm. I had my first slumber party at my house when I was 11 with 5 girls. My mom had passed away about 3 1/2 months earlier and my dad was probably trying to help me have some fun as I adjusted to my new normal without mom, who died of breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy, lots of radiation and chemo and was very very ill, and in and out of the hospital a lot. After a couple negotiations, my dad gave in and ok'd the slumber party, which became a birthday tradition for the next 2 years. We slept (no sleeping occurred) in a tent in the backyard, told ghost stories, played games, talked about boys and came in the house around 1 or 2 am with our sleeping bags and crashed in the living room. My dad took us to breakfast in the morning. Pretty innocent fun! No TP'ing occured. The next 2 years it did, and we got caught one year by my older brother, who later told dad about it. I didn't get in trouble. I grew up with fairly lenient parents because there was so much going on with my mom for several years, but I never got into much trouble and was generally a very well behaved kid. Times were more innocent when I was growing up; neighborhoods were safe, we never locked our doors, we lived in the same house for our entire childhood and we knew our neighbors within a 2 block radius really well and many of them were our good friends and spent time and had sleepovers on a regular basis in each other's houses almost like a 2nd home. Times have changed. It's a different world.

I'm sorry to hear your Mom passed when you were at such a tender age.  That must have been tough.  But as far as your childhood, it sounded a lot like my upbringing.  Those really were the wonder years.  Sigh.

I don't think it was implied that all 3 of Shannon's daughters attended the sleepover together. I don't know the age difference between the twins and their oldest daughter, but if I had to guess I'd say 3 years. No way does a girl of 13 want to attend a sleepover with their 10 year old twin sisters. Saying that David used the opportunity for a hookup with all 3 girls out of the house overnight would have already been on Shannon's radar, don't you think? She would have freaked out on him so bad and been unable to WIU.

I don't know if Brooks has cancer or not, seems highly suspicious. And as I've said before, my husband attended college with Brooks aka David, and the one and only time I met him after a Mississippi State game a few years back the guy was a drunk. a con and a leech -- I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him! And if Vicki wants to hitch her wagon to him for love then she can knock herself out -- but then know this, if he's faking cancer she 100% knows it or she's dumber than a box of rocks. She couldn't be with him and not know he's a bullshitter.

Didn't know his real name was David!!

My take on it is that to stay with Brooks, Vicki has had to suspend her powers of disbelief and pretend whatever he says is true, otherwise they'd be fighting all the time.  She's so scared of being lonely that she'd rather go along to get along than challenge him and have him leave her.  She's taken the tack of wanting to believe it's all true, and she just tries not to think about the nasty little bits that don't quite add up.  I think she kind of knows/ doesn't know/ doesn't let herself quite believe he doesn't have cancer.  The explanations she gives the rest of the ladies are the explanations she's accepted thanks to her amazing powers of denial, but to the rest of the world, they're clearly illogical.  Basically, I think she just doesn't want to see/ believe the truth, but she knows the truth on some level she doesn't fully acknowledge.  Because if she was fully convinced he was sick, if she didn't know on some level that Brooks was fine, she'd never be on a plane to Orlando, Mo'orea, etc. etc.

Laissez le bon temps rouler.   In general I would like for her to stop squeezing into smediums and to realize that at that cup size, peplums aren't her friend.  For what to do with too much of a good thing, please see Sofia Vergara.

There's a fancy schemancy multi syllable word for this, the willful ignorance/dismissiveness of a culture other than your own, somebody please remind me what it is? 'Kitty?   This is one of the things that drives me batshit about Vicki and Ramona on vacation.    p.s. if you're only willing to eat the grilled cheese sandwich and crinkle cut fries, stay your ass in California.

This.  = why I'm never going to be #TeamHeather or be mad at Shannon, even though between her travel nebulizer, bag or potions and wanting to forget an affair she talks about all the damn time, she's kind of meshugga, I couldn't stop giggling at her pointless mini meltdown -  "it's bread and cheese! and more bread and cheese! I don't need that!"

LOL!!  I hollared when I read this.  It's a running conflict in my crew (well, for them, not me) my meat has to be well done.  I'll eat a lot of things on and off vacation but squirty blood can't ever be one of em.  lol!

While we're on weird things about meat, I've been wondering this for a while:  why are eggs kept in the dairy aisle?

You rang? LOL. First of all, thank you for the bolded - N'awlins is one of my most favorite destinations and I lurved Treme, so I spent way too much time trying to master that phrase rolling perfectly off my tongue. I had it down for exactly one summer, and then *poof* back to screwing it up again as some mangled version of the Lady Marmalade's chant. Second, LMAO at your Sofia V. comment.  I'mma let that Heather shade lay right there. I gotta ride for my originally-from NYC girl.

My first thought was you were looking for xenophobic?

Yes, I think that the injury was the biggest thing Shannon was upset about, and I don't blame her.  As a mom of of boys who played travel team and high school sports, and were pretty big parts of their teams, I can understand that.

Kids invest a lot of time into their sports, and Shannon mentioned her daughter was on the all-star team.  A lot of practices, games, etc.  And, with all-star teams or other teams were the kids are selected/chosen, the team dynamic can be thrown off if one of the players is injured.

I know that when my sons' travel seasons rolled around, I wouldn't let them skateboard during that time.  I know that accidents can happen anywhere, anytime, but I wanted to remove just ONE thing that could possibly cause an injury, and skateboarding was it.  Prior to me not allowing skateboarding during their sports season, one of my sons broke his arm in two places while skateboarding, and missed the first 1/3 of his travel season.

I also didn't allow sleepovers on the night before an early morning game, just because I knew that the kids wouldn't be properly rested, etc.

Some coaches are very serious about this stuff, especially for upper-level travel play, elite teams, etc.  They want the kids to be committed, and they want the parents to teach the kids that.

I don't blame Shannon at all about being concerned that her daughter's injury (if indeed, it was serious enough) would prevent her from playing.

But, speaking of which, a guy has a vasectomy BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WANT ADDITIONAL CHILDREN.  Hello?!  Uh, didn't Meagan watch GRETCHEN and her battle with Slade?  And I would think any desire to have children would immediately end if she met most of the HoWives' off-spring -- Jeana's boys, Lauri's Josh, Tamra's Ryan, Lynn Curtin's girls, fat and unhappy Briana … And remember, if the marriage survives, there's a good chance Meagan and Jim will be raising GRANDCHILDREN.

But they won't be HER grandchildren!!! *dry-heave sobbing*

I guess it's too much to hope that her children engaging in trespassing and vandalism would be an issue. Those soccer games are just too important!

Sorry, I don't get that vandalism is "all in fun" and "everybody does it." Not funny to me. Or non-serious.

Tamra is just another who was probably one of the mean girls in high school. She has absolutely no class. Swimming topless was something I overlook because I know her implants cost her a few grand, but announcing that she was peeing in the pool was just crass and disgusting. She just lacks any sense of class or sophistication. She acts more like a old Vegas hooker.

They certainly didn't look natural in any way.  Still, I expected her to shout out the name of the surgeon as she jumped in the water.  "See these? Freebies!!"

MSBlossom...do you know if "Brooks" is even a legal part of his real name?

I agree. I'm a step mom to my late husband's son. He's grown now but was 7 when I came into the family. I used to tell his mom all the time that I wished he was mine. Her response was to tell me how much she loved hearing that and she was so happy that I loved him so much.

Maharincess, can you even imagine yourself mentioning how much you loved this kid to this Band of Shrews led by The Worst?   Although I definitely didn't like my children's stepmother (she was my husband's secretary and they carried on a 2-year affair while we were married), I was always grateful that she treated my kids so well ("better than Dad" my boys always said).  I was able to tell her that at some wedding functions.  I wish everyone would let Meghan ease into a better place on this show--unless Satan Andy won't allow it.

Alcohol should have it's own tagline on the Housewives shows. " Hi, I'm Vodka, you might be able to see right through me but I will get you blind drunk!" :-)

I keep forgetting to ask, but did anyone else notice that Shannon starts cracking up after her tagline?

I was informed(medically) that fresh fruit may have funji and the chemically weakened immune system may be unable to healthily and efficiently cope.
