Actionmage September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 VW has scrubbed any reference to their existence off the website Here I thought it ws a tease for a series of more ads on-line! Whoops. The above would also explain why that ad has been fading away as the other two ads seem to still be played a bunch. Link to comment
InDueTime September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 Even though I don't use Yelp, I like their recent ads. Especially this one with the deer. http://www.ispot.tv/ad/AV9t/yelp-deer-in-headlights I don't know why I like this Nature Made ad so much. Maybe it's because I find the animated probiotics adorable. http://www.ispot.tv/ad/73W2/nature-made-digestive-probiotics-friendly-probiotics 2 Link to comment

DeLurker September 30, 2015 Share September 30, 2015 My daughter was walkng through when the commercial for Amazon Prime came on - the one where the dog has the cast and his owner gets a baby carrier for him. She immediately said "Frodo and Fido go for a walk" which cracked me up because the guy did look a bit like a preppy version of Frodo. 4 Link to comment

proserpina65 September 30, 2015 Share September 30, 2015 That Amazon Prime commercial...Apparently there are no leash laws in this town. I've obviously thought too much about it, because I keep wondering why the dog is trailing around behind him. Is it his dog, and the vet said it needs exercise for the healing leg, in which case the baby bjorn defeats the purpose? Or is it a stray dog following him around, in which case, who took it to the vet? Yeah, I should just roll with it and listen to Lee Marvin 'sing'. 3 Link to comment

I thought it was his dog and he was taking it on a walk like normal to poop and pee. I like to think he lets it walk until it goes and then puts it in the carrier. 1 Link to comment
mojoween October 2, 2015 Share October 2, 2015 I saw a Fiber One ad that I love so much. Two lionesses are hungry but they don't want to eat the flamingos because they'll eat thirty of them and they don't want to split the hippo either. I mean, I should hate the message because it's all girls and we have to watch our weight! but lions = always awesome and they way they speak is cute. 9 Link to comment

Bastet October 4, 2015 Share October 4, 2015 I like pretty much the whole series of PODS ads with the telephone conversations between a potential customer and a service rep. Especially the one with the increasingly freaked-out woman who will be temporarily staying at her brother's because they have to be out of their existing house before their new house is ready. "He has kids of his own. Five of them. Help me." 4 Link to comment

friendperidot October 4, 2015 Share October 4, 2015 Kariyaki, I love the women in this, the one is starting to her grove on and the look the other one gives her - funny! But since I don't follow any music recorded since about 1970, my only exposure to this song is this commercial and one time on Dancing With the Stars. So, what are they counting down? Why is there a need for a final countdown? 2 Link to comment
Bort October 4, 2015 Share October 4, 2015 Heh, The Final Countdown by Europe was a popular song in the '80s. That's all the reference there is. 2 Link to comment

Bruinsfan October 5, 2015 Share October 5, 2015 I love the Wendy's BBQ ad where they say they asked a pit master for his secret recipe and then show the guy just laughing and laughing, with the tag "a barbecue tradition since 2015." It won't make me buy their BBQ sandwiches when there are a half dozen local rib joints, but I at least appreciate them having a good sense of humor about themselves. And it doesn't have Red asking him in a smug, entitled manner, so that's a bonus. 3 Link to comment

editorgrrl October 11, 2015 Share October 11, 2015 (edited) This Campbell's commercial was posted in another thread. I thought I'd bring it here because to me it's adorable. I love the toddler saying "no" at the end: https://youtu.be/7rZOMY2sOnE I was intrigued by the campaign, “Made for Real, Real Life” (#RealRealLife), so I looked it up: http://www.ispot.tv/brands/7PM/campbells-soup Other spots include: On her way out the door, a woman asks her boyfriend if he still isn't feeling well. He says his mom used to make him Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup when he was sick. She turns as if to make him some soup, but throws a phone at him and tells him to call his mom. A woman relaxes on the couch with her microwavable soup. Her husband, Antonio, walks in. When she mentions "the flame is out," Antonio doesn't realize she's referring to the stove. A little boy is using a glue stick on an arts and crafts project. His mother is preparing Campbell's organic tomato soup, and the father says at least they know what their child is eating. Meanwhile, the boy is licking his glue stick. Edited October 11, 2015 by editorgrrl 3 Link to comment

Bastet October 13, 2015 Share October 13, 2015 (edited) Not a favorite commercial, but a favorite moment within an annoying commercial ... I don't like the "I'm a fan of DQ Bakes" commercials, except for a brief moment of one -- after someone sings, "I'm a fan of Lionel Richie," we cut to a snippet of Richie singing Hello.
