Confession:  I have never had caviar.  Would I like all-caviar snacks?

Jenna — love her honesty.  She is all nervous about being with a group of women (I get that), but then wants something “special” before the others get there?!  lol

The green nightie did not flatter the woman (don’t know her name), but how was Jenna to know?  It is a risk to buy that kind of stuff for others.   She did go on and on about it.  I think Jenna doesn’t know them very well to say much.

I hope this ushers in a new fresh era for Housewives. Jenna would be eaten alive in any other group. But the way they show her grace is refreshing. Any other city she would be one and done.

They are quirky, silly and probably performing but I'm entertained and amused. I had stopped watching them all except Potomac because the levels of toxic behavior was astounding. And now Potomac is also in that space.

I would rather watch ridiculous Sai bring 8 bags and toilet paper for 3 days then a bunch of middle aged women pulling straws to see who gets the best room.

Sai is one of the "It" girls in the content space. She does major campaigns and get front row at shows. She goes to Paris for Dior week. She is the real deal and it will be interesting to watch her stock go up with this type of exposure.

Ubah must have won some sort of DNA lottery. She is stunning.

I've given two episodes my attention, and am not sure I'll keep watching. With the exception of Jenna Lyons, and Erin, who is at least somewhat tolerable to me, these women are thoroughly unlikeable. Brynn is already about to get on my last nerve - I don't find her cute or funny, she's just vacuous. Sai - who I'm already inclined to loathe because she's an influencer up her own ass, is an entitled exhausting twit, and Jessel is rude AF to both her friend group and her family. I feel sorry for Jessel's Mom, who seems lovely. Her husband needs to run far, and fast.  Instead of travelling to Vietnam, he should consider outer space.

Will probably keep watching if I can get more glimpses of fab walk-in closets, and upscale decor, but not for the cast.

I quite enjoyed  tonight. I really  like Jenna( I haven't  googled  any of them) I wasn't  sure last week, & I like Erin.  Caviar  and pringles,  hmm, not sure I'd like that, but I'd eat it. I've only had caviar  once. Sai packed 58 outfits for three days, how ridiculous is she. Ubah reminds me of Chanel Ayin on Dubai, they are both stunning. First trip, and no bratty Brynn, maybe she wants to make an entrance,  previews  show she's on next week.

I am in for all the house porn, so far Jenna Lyon's Hampton's house wins for me, I hope we get to see more of it.  I think Jenna has a very interesting face but those over sized glasses she wears (especially the aviators) are doing her no favors.

The little bit of Erin's Hampton's house before photos vs. the renovation...there is no personality in it at all, just all white, no color at all.

I laughed when Ubah raved about her room at Erin's house, it looked like a smallish bed with white linens on it in a white room with a cheetah print rug peeking out from under the bed, no artwork on the walls...that is what Ubah thought was so beautiful?  Ubah's quest for food might be the silliest thing ever, Provisions was closed, it being off season up there might be hard to find places that are open.

The luggage situation...really? I would not even help anyone load it all in to their closet, get a grip! If I ever say I have to post content 23 out of 24 hours a day someone slap me hard...my followers just cannot live without seeing my every outfit! Influencers, oh please. If anyone is curious, I am wearing a nightgown and a cardigan, how do I monetize that?

I was glad Brynn was not there, she irks me.

Caviar is wonderful, I love it but Erin did not have anything else, not even a charcuterie board, those things are mandatory on these shows!  I would have had some tomato soup in mugs with grilled cheese waiting for the HW's, it looked chilly outside.

It's funny, as Jessel was talking about how she and her husband got together I thought it sounded like a rom com novel, something Emily Henry might write. They were friends and then became roommates and lo, they realize they love each other and end up with their HEA.

But given the year (2 years?) without sex and the IVF way of getting pregnant? I'm wondering if the rom com is more a marriage of convenience (though not so much with a HEA). Or a marriage of settling - like there weren't any other options around, so they decided why not? Could definitely see that there would be pressure, on Jessel especially, to be getting married.

Haven't seen quite enough of the other marriages yet, but I'm guessing Jessel's may be the first casualty of this new HW group.

the way i took it is SHE settled and has no problem reminding him of that ..He apparently was in love with her and she just kinda went with it like why not

So far, I really like Jenna and Erin.

Maybe it's an age thing, but I thought Jessel, Sai & Ubah all acted like assholes at one point or another. As house/restaurant guests and gift recipients they were extremely rude and outright hurtful.

Brynn is TBD for me but I can't get over how much she looks like Mandy Moore.

Why would Erin not think to have a nice charcuterie board along with her caviar and pringles? C'mon now. Up your hosting game, you're dealing with bitches here.

I like Jenna but can see she can be a bit of a diva, too. I mean, you don't get to be the head of JCrew in NYC without having a cut throat edge to you. By the way, how did someone who has never experienced girls get- a- ways think to bring lingerie for everybody? Seemed so out of character for her.

Seriously, going to the restaurant rest room and ending up in the kitchen bothering the chefs? First, where are the classy, sophisticated New Yorkers and second, it wasn't funny. I don't think these women are funny by default like Ramona, Bethenny, LuAnn, etc and this may be their downfall.

That felt a bit like machinations to me to stir up drama.  Either Erin's or the producers. But along the lines of "these bougie b's complained about cheese last time so I'll give them caviar!"

That was incredibly rude.  First, you do not just walk into a restaurant kitchen uninvited.  People are working.  It is also a crowded environment which can be dangerous, especially if you don't know the rules.  Second, it's a can of coconut milk, not exactly a hard to find item.  It is also a can of coconut milk that is part of their inventory and is needed for their recipes.  I'm sure she thought that was charming.  It was not.

Only serving caviar was foolish as was expecting that everyone was good waiting until to dinner to eat more.  When entertaining, I always go with put out choices so that people can select what they want.  That keeps folks from having to explain allergies, sensitivities, and food aversions.  Also, those who are hungry can eat.  Those that aren't can nibble or have nothing.

At the same time, these are adults.  If you have a long drive and you're ravenously hungry, get something to eat.  They weren't exactly trekking across the Sahara to the only oasis for hundreds of miles.  Just don't embarrass your host by saying you are getting food because you don't like what they are serving.

I got a glimpse of Jenna walking into a restaurant.  She was wearing a blouse, denim jacket and a fugly looking fur jacket over her shoulders.  I’m no fashionista, but that was the fugliest outfit I have ever seen in my life, but probably cost thousands of dollars.  “Money Can’t Buy You Class”.  The  little I saw last night proved it.  This bunch should not be called Housewives.   They are obnoxious and rude.  The fur jacket was probably vintage btw.  Maybe her Mother’s.

Actually, I felt sorry for Jenna.  She looked confused and lost.  She appears to have a good heart, and really doesn’t have a connection with the others.  Too nice for them.

I would not vibe with Sai in real life. She's coming across as too try-hard and annoying, bringing her toilet paper? Stop it.

I wasn't amused at Ubah taking the coconut milk. I know it's par the course for these Housewives shows, but I really can't stand when these women act like they've never been anywhere nice before.

Whew, there was a lot to unpack with Jessel. She was obnoxious about the lingerie, unflattering as it was, but her comment about wearing a large and that not being the size you want to see, but an x-small/small is preferable probably explains why she isn't having sex with her husband. It's a shitty thing to say, but allow me to play armchair psychologist. She's uncomfortable with her postpartum body, and that could be the reason why the sex has stopped. It's also likely that she lost her sex drive. She said that they were active prior to the children, but I do wonder if maybe she isn't that sexual of a person.

Whatever the case, she was an asshole.

I like Jenna. So far, she's coming across well.

When I watch this type of show I always think which of the women I would want as a friend. In this case, it’s definitely Erin and  Jenna.
I would be happy to snack on caviar all day and can’t wait to try it with pringles. I like Jenna’s sense of style and am sure she is at the high end of the autism scale. I have no problem with this.

As for the OG housewives I would have picked Carole, Bethany (both for their quick wit) and Kristen as friends. I would seriously run away screaming  from Ramona, Sonja and Lou Ann…

Hopefully that will not be brought into the show because I’m very much enjoying the lack of any deep divisive socio-politico issues.

I know Jessel’s mother taught her better than to complain about a GIFT, especially in front of the giver.

The caviar, the can stealing, and Jessel's over-the-top lingerie flip out at the end all seemed manufactured to add drama.

As a general comment - aside from those moments, it was otherwise pretty mundane and low key, and it felt like eavesdropping on normal people doing boring things in the Hamptons. Refreshing from having instafeuds at the drop of a drunken hat, but...also possibly boring. None of them are really taking bait - no one seemed actually angry/upset that Erin didn't really provide food, Erin couldn't be bothered that Ubah left to get a real meal, Jessel didn't seem bothered by her sex life being criticized (holy moly, I'd never comment on the sex life of a couple that recently went through any form of TTC/IVF), no one cares that Sai is constantly "influencing," etc. But getting ugly lingerie as a gift is what does it?  IMO, it felt like all of the "drama" was a producer telling them to make something, anything, up.

I was soo confused when those 2 caterers showed up with 3 small bags. I was like: where is the rest of the food...!?

Mind you, I Absolutely Adore caviar, but it's not for everybody. For all the money spent, there should have been other options. Some of the guests were hangry. Hostess fail. Another indicator that these women really don't know each other.

To be honest, she did look horrible in that nightgown, ill fitting or maybe it is her build, idunno.  Maybe she is trying to be the Ramona of the group because that was totally channeling Ramona, rude and self centered.

I was not bothered so much about the coconut milk thievery, that fact that someone so (as we are lead to believe) wealthy would get excited about something that could be bought for a few dollars in a grocery store leads me to believe she does not do her own grocery shopping and was not accustomed to seeing that product in the wild.

I do not know why Ubah of the Tall and Beautiful would ever complain about that nightgown or anything she is given to wear because she looked amazing in it, isn't she a model and has to wear a lot things she probably does not like but smiles and does what she has to do?

100%! I thought they would make a second trip to the car but nope, they were (and I cannot believe there is such a thing as), Caviar Caterers. Call me a rube but the Hampton's have quite a few "caviar to your door options," who knew?!

So Jessel shares with the HW's she and her husband have not had sex in a year and rightly so all the HW's react, Jessel seems non plussed over not having sex with her husband, we have all seen the husband, I would check for a pulse because he looks lifeless and uninspiring.

Did not miss Brynn.

I still think this group will be fun and interesting to watch.

I have never had caviar and don’t think it looks very appealing. Erin should have had something else. However, if they had dinner plans at 7, the others could have fed themselves before leaving.
I’m liking Erin more and definitely Jenna. Jessel and Sai are playing up the asshole behavior. Ubah seems over the top but she is fun to watch. I know I won’t like Brynn.
How ungrateful to get a lingerie gift and then complain about it. I didn’t think it looked that terrible on her. It wasn’t  a good fit but it looked comfortable. She’s made it clear she doesn’t want to have sex with her husband anyway.
So the professional term for influencer is content creator? I’m amazed at the number of assholes that make real money doing it.

I think this group has potential. I had grown tired of the OGs even before the horrible Leah and Eboni put the final nail in the coffin. What had started out as a fun group of housewives morphed into an aging divorcee sex and the city group, peeing and pooping themselves and hitting on any unsuspecting man that was within their space.

Caviar: For the uninitiated, caviar is very salty. Have you ever swum in the sea and tasted the salty water? It tastes like that!

Jenna: The type of woman you only refer to using both her names, Jenna Lyons! Jenna Lyons looks familiar to me (cos I’m a dinosaur) but I’m Australian so I don’t think she is well known here. Last week (first ep) I did not warm to her at all. I thought she was overly fashionista-like pretentious, a try hard ‘cool chick’. I gave her serious eye rolls at the unbuttoned shirt/show off the naughty glimpses of boobs situation. This week: still eye rolling at that but now I’ve seen more to her personality I’m liking her. I like her self awareness of her awkwardness (which is what she uses her ‘cool chick’ armour to cover up) and I’m keen to learn more about her.

Erin: I’ll give her some time. Seems genuine and probably fun to be with after a few drinks!

The others: now they ARE trying too hard. Not just for this show, but for their whole pretentious lives! You are not so fabulous that you can forget basic manners and graciousness toward your host (they were criticising the food and the rooms) and the gifts of another guest (beyond rude).

I don't get this feeling from Uba, but Sai and Jessel are trying to act like they're very important people. Did you hear that Sai is a content creator?? I guess she's a big deal (never heard of her before this) but nobody needs 8 bags plus garment bags for a 3 day trip to the Hamptons in the off season. That was her being extra. She was also rude about the closet in her room, saying it was too small. Ma'am, you are not moving in, you're there for 3 days! The three ladies in the car were also discussing that they're never been to the Hamptons in the fall as if they wouldn't be caught dead going to the Hamptons at that time of year.

While I think Erin should have had a few more snack options other than caviar, the ladies should have planned their lunch a little better. Erin said it was 4 and she wasn't going to plan a lunch when they were going to dinner at 7. They said the drive was 3.5 hours meaning they left around 12 PM. Uba was the one that had the biggest issue with the food and if she's someone who gets hangry, she could have brought something to eat in the car or had the driver stop somewhere. She really wanted Provision, maybe she was thinking she would get that and didn't realize they would close early because it was off season. Google tells me they're open 8 to 6.

We've all said it, but Jessel with the nightgown was rude as hell. I kind of loved Jenna telling her not wear an Alexander Wang coat with a Balenciaga bag

It's hilarious to me that a lot of people (not just here) are appalled by their behavior at the Hamptons. This is probably the most calm trip I have ever seen on a HW show.

I don't think Jessel was aware how rude and blunt she was coming across.   She was raised in the UK in a strict Indian family where maybe being blunt is the norm.  Maybe she felt comfortable enough where she could be honest.  However...she isn't with her family and I hope she gets called out.

Ubae... I mean...we've seen her cousin Aylan so we shouldn't be surprised how brutally honest she is..though I think she's warmer than Aylan is...so far.

Maybe Jenna might be the wealthiest of them all, but I don't see much of a difference between the rest and say, Ramona, Dorinda or LuAnn.

I know Bravo wanted to go back to the roots of RHONY but these women are all falling flat for me, I just don't think the new girls are nowhere near as funny and/or delusional, I'm still missing someone saying "I wanted to order a pizza, my name? It's Countess De Lesseps".

I’m afraid it’s  almost impossible to recapture that early magic.  I think the producers were involved early on, but the funny stuff was more natural. “The countesses kids have lice!” Mario and Simon playing tennis. Alex and Simon having Bethenny over during their renovation. Bethenny and her extremely uncomfortable boyfriend at the time.
Now it seems very contrived and everyone’s playing a role instead of being themselves.

Folks, Unless the cast's political beliefs are discussed directly on the show, let's keep it out of the discussion.  No need to bring contentious topics to our light entertainment (posts have been hidden).

Also, Erin is proud of her Jewish heritage and faith.  Mentioning it is fine as long as it is respectful.  Lizzy is not on the show and has been scrubbed from the footage.  Let's keep her out of episode discussions. Thanks!

I'm feeling meh about this cast. I've caught myself multi-tasking too much during this episode. They are trying really hard to convince us of how wonderful they are: "You can only meet people like this in New York!"

Yes, there are no special, funny people anywhere else. New York is the only place to be.

Jenna's wardrobe is decidedly NY business woman with a downtown twist, plus a little bit of "old money, so I don't give a shit" style.

I don't know if she comes from money, but she's got that look.  Sort of Carole Radziwill-ish.

Say what you will about her wardrobe, but I would give my right arm for her shoe collection/closet!!!!
