As Cabo heats up and truths are revealed, the ladies struggle to keep their cool. Emily looks inward for answers, while Jen’s pain pushes her to emotional limits. As Heather looks at properties, Gina questions whether her investment in Noella is worth the cost. And despite Shannon’s efforts to keep the peace, she only stokes the fire more, causing an explosive chain of events.

Man, Noella is a complete nutter. She actually made me want to take Heather's side at dinner, and I hate her for it. She's such a drama-queen dolt. Also, Why would anyone go to a sweat lodge when they are already sweaty and and totally dehydrated? No thank you.

I wonder if Dr. Nicole is going to kick the shirtless himbo to the curb. I haven't been following news stories, so I don't know if they've actually filed.

The more I see of Noella the more I don’t blame her husband for running off lol. Not actually but she is so crazy and annoying.

Ooh how fun going on a car ride to watch Heather brag about a lot shes buying. No thanks.

Nicoles husband seems so shitty. He seems like a really boring person.

I enjoyed the house porn of the house they toured. It was a much nicer house than the dated one they were staying in. But I can’t imagine living in such a large place and the staff required for upkeep. Even Shannon, who used to seem pretentious about her large house in her early seasons, sees the wisdom of downsizing.
What was all that with Terry probing the marriage prospects of Gina’s and Shannon’s boyfriends?  He’s now the Page Six of OC?  I can’t remember their names.

Shannpn and Heather look so old this season When they slick back their hair in buns and ponytails it does them no favors. Shannon especialy needs a hair cut with a good stylist. I don't know who is styling her hair but sometimes it looks like someone stuck in the 50's.

Every week I am more and more confused about Dr Jen being on this show. She feels like a stranger who just wanders up to their events and sits there looking unhappy.  It is like she is on a completely different show.

My theory is that there is even a limit to how many hours she can spend at work so she needed something else to fill the time so she didn't actually have to be home due to "work".

I thought the scene with Gina and Emily at the table after the sweat lodge was pretty funny.

Shannon's glittery dress at dinner on the sand looked like she was going to a club.

The spot where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific met reminded me of the movie "The Light Between Oceans", lol.  (Loved that movie)

Dr. Jen seems really sad.  I thought it was good of Heather to listen and offer advice to her, it was what she was looking for.

Noella is just ick.

I re watched this episode because the first time I watched it it felt like there was a lot of over talking, nobody could complete a sentence before someone else was talking over them...the re watch confirmed it.

Heather looking at other houses was good, who doesn't like to see crazy big, well appointed homes?I would hate to have the utility bill from yet another ego driven, over size house.

Noella continues to be odd, her reactions to things are oddly combative when it does not need to be.  She is ready to fight but there is no reason to fight.  I did notice that we did not hear a peep about her impending divorce or did I miss it because of the over talking?

Dr. Jenn's leg issue is probably bad and painful but her call to her husband was strange, she tells him she is in pain and he does not say what she wants to hear (most likely they have the same convo a lot if her pain is chronic), she tells him to be more supportive, they are 1000 miles apart, what does she want him to do, fly down there?  Is she 14 years old? Why would she call him to complain when clearly he cannot do anything about her leg?  If her leg is so bad why does she traipse around in sky high heels at work all day?

Gina and Emily are the two I could hang with, I really don't mind them at all. I am still not sure why they got up and left the dinner table claiming Noella was being offensive, did I miss something?

Shannon is always up for a good time but the shrieking has got to stop.  I have noticed when she speaks Spanish she sort of yells it.

No one could get me in to a sweat lodge, not Bravo, not good friends, nobody because I would be the person they would have to carry out of there, I felt for Noella in that moment.

Noella is legitimately a mess, and I completely agree with Heather's assessment that Noella is incredibly calculating. (Which is not to say that Heather can't be calculating herself). IMO, Noella really thought she was going to be able to "cancel" Heather until Heather read the actual content of the cards. (But to be fair, calling it pornography was a bit much - but it clearly was inappropriate for a 17 year old).  I think everyone BUT Noella handled that situation pretty well because they all kept saying, "we understand you aren't aware of the contents of the card, so really, just apologize for inadvertently giving an inappropriate gift."

Dr. Jen and her marriage continues to be perplexing to me. I truly don't get what happened with the ex, and I also don't understand exactly what she wants from her husband. She says she wants to be loved and valued, and what have you, but she also doesn't seem to be willing to listen to her family when they say they want her to work less. I understand she was in a lot of physical pain and I felt badly for her because of that - there is nothing worse than feeling physically lousy and not getting emotional support at the same time - but beyond that, I just find her situation opaque and confusing.

For some reason, my main takeaway from this episode is the imagery of Emily trying to carry Noella out of the sweat lodge but Noella slipping out of her arms because they were all so sweaty.  Like Gina, after the fact when everything was ok, I would have been giggling hysterically about that.

Agree about Noella but hard to find another HW more calculating than Heather.  She had the content of those cards ready to go on her phone which meant she took pics before the trip to have them at the ready just for this scene.

I agree that Heather is calculating - or more accurately, she is controlling.  But I am not sure having the contents of the cards ready is evidence of being particularly calculating, as opposed to just knowing that you have to have the evidence on hand when the subject comes up. I would have done the same thing, particularly knowing the way that Noella operates. That's more evidence of Heather understanding exactly how the HW game is played, IMO.

Too bad Thirsty Noella didn’t have a glass of lemonade that morning or maybe she wouldn’t have passed out in the sweat lodge.

I disagree with the HWs, I think she knew exactly what those cards were like before Heather read them. Surely she’s familiar with Cards Against Humanity. She just didn’t expect Heather to read them to the whole table, thus the OTT shock face and quarter-assed apology.

Emily's ass is so hungry it's eating her swim suit. Her crack must be really sore by the end of the day.

Shannon looked ridiculous in that sparkly dress at a casual dinner. Things that fit tight on her make it very obvious that her middle-aged gut is is stuffed into heavy duty shape wear. It looks miserable.

Heather had to call Terry right then and there to ensure the 15.5 million dollar brag was on camera. While the other ladies are casual...miss Thang wears her ugly Kentucky derby outfit.

Doctor chick coaches hubby on how he should respond. I guess saying the right words is more important than actually caring. Which he doesn't seem to. Next week she wants him to get a really good job. Does that store in the mall that had shirtless dudes standing out front to greet people still exist?

Every week I loathe noella more. Are we done? Hell yes...way past it.

I’m starting to wonder if that just means he goes to clean Airbnb’s. He’s an odd duck. Despite Dr. Jen saying he’s uncomfortable around large groups of women, he didn’t seem that more at the ease at the “Terry needs screen time” guys night out. I’d say he seems a bit antisocial but the shirtless dog carrying around the neighborhood is attention seeking so I can’t figure him out at all. And yet somehow he’s still marginally more interesting than his wife.

Gina's confessionals are hilarious! She looks amazing, too.

Emily is such an unhappy wench.  No need to tell Noella that Heather didn't want her there. Of course production told her to do that in order to create more drama.

I was lmao when Terry asked the realtor if he could borrow 15.5 million. He has a good sense of humor sometimes. That guys dinner was all kinds of staged and uncomfortable. You know Terry doesn't give a rat's ass if or when these guys plan on getting married and we also know Terry is a bit of a snob and probably only hangs out with other rich Dr's that close the office every Friday so they can meet up and play golf.

I find I'm having to turn on Noella.  I love how she tortures Heather, but I didn't like how long it took her to accept that the cards were too much.  She doesn't even know what kind of gifts she is gifting someone?  OH GOSH, she is making me take Heather's side on this because I would be pissed too.  I don't even have a problem with Heather calling it porn, because if you combine the words (easy lip reading mostly) and the images they produce in your brain, then yes, it is porn.  At this point, I'm not so sure that Noella is calculating, as much as a dingbat.  Maybe both.  Whatever.  I really don't give a care about their sexual exploits, I really don't want to know.  I don't find it titillating or interesting, just skeevy and boring.  I kissed a girl and I liked it.  Big deal.  Move on, for the love of Pete.

The only one I like is Shane.  lol

I have a feeling that I'm gonna trash this show too.  They are just not holding my interest.  There is still New Jersey though.

Noella acts like she’s never interacted with humans before.  I’m convinced she’s a space alien.

Emily & Gina are all of us. (But why tell Noella she wasn’t welcome there?  Never poke the crazy lady, Emily!!!)

And shut up, Heather.

Looked about as fun as the time we visited my inlaws in Florida and we had to spend a potential beach day looking for them a house, to buy, in another town.  So hours wasted in the car also.

I am getting sick and tired of Heather’s bragging.  If Heather and/or Terry thought their vulgar display of wealth and grandeur would be anything other than revolting, they have another thing coming.  Has she ever hear the expression, money talks, wealth whispers?  Maybe Terry agrees to these projects to keep Heather busy and out of his hair.  That would certainly be worth $15 million.

Just think how many people or charities $15 million could help? It boggles the mind that with all that is going on in our country and around the world that these two self absorbed vacuous spendthrifts and hucksters are planning to build another opulent Gilded Age "homestead" and flagrantly boast about it and laugh about it like two decadent relics from the "let them eat cake" era in French history. It's disgusting and even more so with Terry who is physician and should be more sensitive and thoughtful...but alas, he is as garish, nouveau riche and tone deaf as his insipid wife. He's going to need to sell more quack supplements on the QVC Jr. channel to afford this new expense.

I thought he wasn't at the men's night out - I thought it was just Terry, Shane, John (Shannon's boyfriend) and Travis (Gina's boyfriend).

I think Ryne is weird and something not's right with that whole relationship - or, he was not 100% in on appearing on the show, for whatever reason(s).

I don't get the point (other than to brag) of the Dubrows building a house in Cabo in a place where you can't even swim? Mind you I am not a fan of the ocean, so there is that. But I would take our cabin on a beautiful lake, where we can boat, kayak and swim, over a Dubrow monstrosity.

I am surprised at some of the activities that Bravo has the ladies participating in. The sweat lodge seemed like a bad idea when they were already complaining about how hot it was. So why go to a sweat lodge/tent? Seemed spectacularly stupid to me.

I loved Jen's husband not parroting back to her what she demanded he say to make her feel better. As someone upthread said, what is the point of telling someone to say something to you that they obviously don't feel, or they would already be saying it?

All in all another dud of an episode.

Oh you’re right! I forgot. Dr. Jen had even commented that he would have liked to have been included. Apparently I was mixing up that scene with the flashback of Ryuhhhhnnnnnn commiserating with the hedges at Max’s party.

Dr. Jen’s storyline appears to be a retread of Emily’s early storyline of debilitating chronic injury and mounting frustration with a not sympathetic enough husband. I’ll wonder if we’ll eventually find out that the editing was misleading about this couple, too.

They should establish a charitable organization to help LGBTQ+ youth who are being threatened, bullied and marginalized. Not every LGBTQ+ young person lives in a cushy home with parents that support them. That might even keep Heather busy doing something that actually has meaning instead of overseeing another garish new build in a foreign country.

True, and somehow I can find it in myself to bitch a little lot more about it :)

Dr Jen is depressing and a downer and her husband, likewise.  Why are we being subjected to this couple that seem to have no redeeming qualities.  I don't care about her shitty relationship.  Is this suppose to fun and engaging?  What is happening with Bravo that they can't cast people that are happy?  Or at least a little bit happy?  Or even a tiny fraction happy?  Heather doesn't count because she is full of shit, and how can you be really happy spending millions on yourself while people starve.  That kind of happy does not compute with me, so I discount it altogether.  Next.

Noella has pretty much lost me, but I bitched about that in an earlier post.  I may be open again if she puts Heather in a headlock or something, but other than that, she's quickly losing someone that was at least on her side.

Gina and Emily, or Mutt and Jeff, it's hard to tell where one leaves off and the other one starts.  STAWP.  I don't want a two for one.  I want Gina and Emily to get into a fight because Gina likes Heather more.  That would be a lot more interesting than them sharing each other's dental floss...I mean, the same string.  Bring Shane back, at least his eye rolling and dry sense of humor brings some comedic relief.  You can keep Gina's dude, he's too clean cut for me.

Shannon has got to either lose some weight, or buy herself some bigger clothes.  Enough.  She is killing me with how she looks, all flopping around in water, like a little baby water buffalo.  (Was she flopping around in water in a gold dress?  I dozed off, so it could have been a mini-nightmare, but I thought she was.)  She seems to be feeling her way around, in this group so far.  She's trying to connect with someone, but so far, her best has gotten her Noella.  It's really kinda funny.  Talk about a dud to have to befriend to have a friend.  It's also really kinda sad what hoops these women jump through to do what they do.  It's also kinda sad that I watch them, but ahem, moving on...

Clearly, they have all but phased out Nicole James (who's Nicole James? in unison, everybody!) which is the only really good thing I can say about this franchise at this time.

I guess I'm through bitching now, because I have run out of people.  I'll save Cohen for another rant.  I could take up two or three pages on him alone, the little shit.
