UO I know, but I have liked Shane since day one. He is not only my fav househusband (its a low bar, I know) but my fav person on the show. Can't say my favourite being though, as that honour belongs to Archie.

I didn't like Shane his first season either, I thought he was a horrible little jerk...and he was.  

I think he saw himself the way the viewer saw him, as a horrible little jerk, and changed.  I liked that.

He's still Shane with the hard edges knocked off, and now, pretty entertaining.  He actually cracks me up for some reason.  I find myself looking for Shane in scenes because he is the only one I find truly authentic in this mess.  Who would have thunk it?  Not me.

I still can’t get over Dr. Jigsaw’s face. Totally that Madame puppet (Wayland Flowers, 1970s) with the bulbous cheekbones and protruding chin. Same nose too. 

You want HIM to do your plastic surgery??  Girl, bye.

This is what I don't get. Have we ever seen Heather do anything for charity? At least the BH howives seem to have some charity events. If you have that much money and want fame so bad, start a Foundation. Try doing a fraction of what Dolly Parton has done with her riches, and she still lives large and well. I was actually glad Heather was coming back, but now I just find her awful. I really thought she was smarter than this, because these disgusting discussions about how she wasted money (30 some thousand for ONE FREAKING PARTY) are not helping her in any way. Yes, Noella is a complete whack job and yes, her "gift" was disgusting and given a choice I would choose to spend time with Heather, who is generally civilized if obnoxious, over exhausting Noella. But  that's a lot like saying I would prefer lethal injection to firing squad. I don't want to spend time with either one and  Shane and Archie don't get enough screen time to make watching this worth it. Another big fail Andy.

Someone needs to say to Noella, "it's not all about you.  We all get a turn.  Don't worry, you'll have your turn too".  Women who need ALL the attention, ALL the time are the absolute worst.  It always begs the question; what the heck did you miss out on in life that you need eyes on you at all times?  Shut up and sit down.  Gack.  I just can't with that woman.  

I liked Emily's approach to the hooking up with a girl conversation.  She didn't want to delve into details and kind of shrugged it off.  Meanwhile, Miss Attention Whore 2022 is bouncing up and down like a kindergartner with her hand raised.  Me, me, me!!  What do you want, a gold star, you idiot?

Emily and Gina are what my Mother would describe as "low rent".  They're kind of rough and just stomp around like a couple of hunchbacks.  They both could use some grace (not just physically).  Emily's worse than Gina.  At the same time, I don't really mind them, but I'm not sure they're what I watch this kind of show for. 

I don't mind Dr. Jen.  I actually think the interactions between her and Heather seem genuine and they could truly be friends.  She was in a lot of physical pain and yet only confided in Heather about it.  Noella would have an airplane flying a sign over the beach with fireworks coming out of the engine.  I also really felt for her during her phone call to her husband.  I guess just because I could hear in my head how my husband would have responded.  Just because pork rind wasn't there with her, didn't mean he couldn't have made her feel a little better.  His sarcastic responses made it so much worse.

Thank you!  What was up with that awful, uncomfortable looking dress?  She looked like a junior high girl going to a school dance.  The other ladies looked breezy and cool in typical vacation wear.  Weird.

I have to wonder how much of the sweat lodge collapse was overdramatized by Noella. Of course, it would HAVE to be Noella who “collapses” in the sweat lodge. It won’t be long before they tire of having to protect, defend and make allowances for her. 
She’s the kind of person who will ask you a question, not because they care about your answer, but because she’s eager to tell you about herself. She almost peed herself wanting to share she had sex with a girl in college, I mean, in this day and age, is that bragworthy or even shocking, (I mean, who hasn’t, right, lol?) not to mention she’s bisexual…

I have never seen this franchise of Real Housewives ever do any charity work. The New York housewives all have done charity work and attached themselves to various well known foundations and organizations...even the Jersey wives have done some charity work...but this OC group does little to none. Especially Heather...she and Terry don't promote anything except themselves and their schlocky crap.

Which is truly awful. Again, I am a bit surprised they are so completely tone deaf. I have never thought of Heather as one of the truly stupid Howives, like Gretchen, Teresa, Melissa etc. Yet she honestly can't see how off putting her behavior is.

If she has, I don't know of it. But I do remember Heather and Terry selling hand sanitizer on tv that cost $29.00 a bottle. Right during the height of COVID. Such caring, compassionate humans.

I was thinking about this the other day. This franchise is the worst in doing charity work (or at least what is aired)

Well, Terry isn’t exactly the best looking guy on TV…far from it…eccchhh. Heather was looking for a doctor who had a future and she married him. For him, a nerdy guy with a blossoming plastic surgery practice in the OC, she was arm candy. They deserve each other.

I don’t believe for a minute that they are going to build another monstrosity…. I think it’s all just a storyline for the show. Like Tamra having a baby ha ha ha! Or am I confused with the other hundred Housewives who had a try.for.a.baby.storyline?!

ps. Your avatar is my favourite painting!  I’ve seen in it person in Den Haag (The Hague) when travelling in the Netherlands… back in an almost forgotten time of travel.

It's clear Heather wants to take her house with her on vacation. She has no interest in "mixing and mingling with the locals." Many people go to foreign countries to immerse themselves in a different way of life, learn a new culture and meet people. Not Heather! She'd never be caught dead in an Airbnb, hostel or even a regular hotel. If you're just going to put up walls around you what does it matter where you are on the globe?

I can't stand Heather but I will give her this: her talk with Jen about marital problems felt like a really genuine moment and I actually liked her that moment. And she asked about Jen's leg, too. 

Noella is too much. I can relate to her not bowing down to Heather, but the cards were not a good gift and she could've just said she was sorry. 

I love Shannon for wearing the sombrero and not caring if she looked silly or not. She's fun that way. I know she takes herself very seriously at times, but every now and then she lets loose.

Next episode: Ryne wears a shirt. Drama ensues.

Even the person with whom Heather did not want to film (Kelly Dodd) and who she thinks is beneath her has done charity work. And Kelly hasn't just written a check: she's even been to a shelter to cook and cater for homeless people AND she took her daughter with her. 

You can say a lot of stuff about Kelly Dodd, but I've seen her do more for others than Heather.

Oh I think if ANY of these stupid women were doing anything for anyone they would be crowing about it in front of every camera - especially the Dubrows who seem to live to create an on camera brand. 

And yep, Kelly took her daughter to a soup kitchen (at least once) but it wasn't without cameras in tow to make sure we all saw it.

Yes, obviously there were cameras, but could you see Heather working at a soup kitchen? Where they don't serve champs?

See that others called this out as well, as much as we hate to say this we saw Kelly Dodd and Jolie working at a food kitchen.  Can't say it wasn't just for the cameras, but at least Kelly understood the game.

And that water she shilled gave a percentage of each sale to breast cancer.

That's exactly my point.   IF anyone one of these RH were doing ANYTHING for anyone else they would make sure it was on camera.  The fact that we haven't seen anything like that tells me it's not happening.   We only really see what they want us to see.

Lol...that reminded me (I have no idea why though :) of when Heather wouldn't give Terry onion rings, because they didn't "go" with the fancy lobster dinner she was having.  The fans torn her a new one over that one.   Haha, good times.

I do get your point, yes. My own point was to underline the fact that while we've never seen Heather do any charity - something someone brought up in this thread - we've seen Kelly do charity, and Kelly is probably the one who Heather thinks the least of, as a human being. 

I'm not saying Kelly is a saint, I was just pointing out how she's at least doing something.

I have heard that LVP has long volunteered every Monday at a soup kitchen for the homeless. It is the day that restaurants are closed and her day off. It has never been shown on camera on any of her TV shows.

It was in a quick bit on the show when someone accused her of not being charitable enough or some such and she kind of rolled her eyes in a talking head and said “oh please, I have several animal charities and she can come see me at XYZ shelter where I volunteer serving food every Monday morning.” This is not an exact quote but it was similar. That said, I have no idea if it is true… however, I do think it may be her way of feeding the underserved population to balance her work at high end restaurants. I do also believe that they have a relationship with shelters to donate excess food.
