Janelle always says because it’s like where she grew up, she likes fishing, camping in the woods etc..  where did she grow up?

Every time they show Janelle saying “there’s nothing for me in Utah” I want to ask her “but I thought a huge part of your lifestyle is that all the kids are your kids! … you always said your kids have 4 moms!… so I guess that was all bullshit because some of “YOUR kids and a grandchild live in Utah!”

But there’s nothing there for you?

Christine loved all the kids and poured her love into them but the others never felt that way…. Liars!

Yay!! Another season of watching this polygamous family, (in which the very definition is to be a huge family unit living together),  argue about what lot they get to be at, separate from each other.  No one looks even remotely happy. They're all so petty about what lot they get.   I don't think they can come back from this.   This is getting real sad, real quick.   Good for Christine getting out.  I think she'll be happy to have all the attention from one man.  She's been craving it all along, maybe she'll finally get it.

Notice how Kody tells the others his original goal was to move to St. George, Utah but as soon as Robin says she wants to stay in Flagstaff he tells her that's what he wants too.  Unbelievable, this guy.

Other noticeables from this episode: 

* Janelle—gardening and desire of greenhouses: not doing her much good—all the vegetables in the world won’t erase her other poor food choices. Most plant based gardeners I know are healthy and not obese. 

* Meri—lumbering, penguin-like figure and ugly clothes. Also her alluding to the fact that she herself has considered leaving (but it’s Christine’s words and body language that indicate she’s the one who will). I’ll never understand Meri being ok with just having Kody as an acquaintance—he’s made it clear he doesn’t want anything from her other than that. 

* Robyn—stealth as usual, looking a bit worn down, puffy and tired. If I were her I’d step up my workout game to make the other wives look bad. 

* Christine—not much else to say, she’s absolutely done (uh, NOT BLUFFING Kody).

I also rolled my eyes when Queen Robyn sitting in her backyard and Kody making it a point to say he "stopped by" um sure you did, you just went out the front door and down the side yard. These two asshats deserve each other. And Robyn really needs to get that neck checked out. Its been what 2 years and still nothing happening on the land, and never will. They don't have two nickels to rub together to build a shed on the land, now they are going for 5 houses?

So Kody's to favorite wives (at the moment) get the bigger lots. Not sure why he said Janelle needs to be near the pond for her garden, as I hope she wouldn't water it with that sludge.

Is there a reason they didn't show roads? Is it because the road will make Kody, Christine, Meri and Janelle's lots a little smaller? Queen Robyn will have the largest lot when all is said and done.

To me the surveyor look like he was secretly laughing at their land. The land is sloped and full of large rocks. If they really build, they'll have to live there a good 10 years or so, to even think of making any money on resale.

I couldn't tell if Kody actually knows how serious Christine is or if he thinks she'll come around, like she always does.

Janelle was just renting that house so I assume the garden was there when she moved in, even if it was just a basic one. She has left that house now so there is no reason to stay in flagstaff if it was all about the garden. I need to live in the world Meri inhabits where there is a chance that men who don’t want me will fall madly in love with me if I talk positively about it and remain hopeful (George Clooney, I am waiting).

Do they all just believe they can will these houses into existence or is it just part of a group delusion? Why are they pretending they will ever build on that property? If they had that type of money, paying for Ysabel’s surgery wouldn’t have been a problem and no one would need to be involved with crappy MLMs.

It seems that we are being "played" by the Browns and Production to eke out a few more episodes regarding the distribution of building lots. 

I don't know what the source was but it was so specific, that it must have come from someone that had access to the title deeds.  According to a 2018 post when the lots were purchased, they did not buy one large parcel to be surveyed and distributed at their will at a later date, it appears that the titles were registered in the following manner:- 

Parcel 1: - 2.42 acres registered to Kody and Janelle, purchase price $170,000, -  $23,800 down payment, balance financed.

Parcel 2: - 2.42 acres registered to Kody and Robyn, purchase price $170,000 - $23,800 down payment, balance financed.

Parcel 3: - 4.48 acres registered to Meri, Kody and Janelle, purchase price $180,000 - Paid cash

Parcel 4: - 5.16 acres ("pond" lot) registered to Christine, Kody and Robyn, purchase price $300,000 - paid cash.

If there was merit to this 2018 post which is still available by google, last night's episode and as many more that they can milk out are all a farce.

edit: I went back and listened to her words. She said “Once we got kicked out of Utah, I’ve just kind of had a feeling of I’m not going to grace you with my presence.” That’s even more dumb to say it that way, as a business owner and taxpayer of said state. Does she think we don’t put two and two together to see how ridiculous she is?

My three favorite moments in this episode:

1.  Kody proclaiming there is no "head wife."

2.  Janelle saying she might be able to open her own farm-to-table restaurant.

3.  Kody asserting there are no "slopes" on Prairie Plague Pass when all of them appeared to be going up and down slopes whilst walking the property.  

This truly is the show that just keeps on giving...just not in the way it's intended to.   😂

Ok wait, so Janelle, the master gardener and future organic restaurateur...yeah I had to pause to laugh.. needs a huge plot for greenhouses and gardens that can only be watered from poop pond? Won't they have to truck water in there? That's going to cost a fortune when the pond is dry for a couple seasons. Are these gardens supposed to be the family food source? Good luck with that, if Janelle's in charge. That's a full time job for more than one person.

They keep talking and planning like the entire family will be living there, though almost all of the adult kids have already moved on and have lives elsewhere. Kody is delusional if he thinks those small plots can be subdivided again to build houses for the kids. Lol that the surveyor said they will have a tough time doing anything with all that rock everywhere. They didn't even register that tidbit. Kody needs his own house on the pond lot?? Lmao! I hope the mosquitoes eat him alive, and that it stinks to high Heaven. Pipe dreams, they have them.

Robyn is Queen manipulator with her 'don't tell Christine it was me that said no, but be sure to tell her hell no' and then in her TH trying to blame Truely and Savanah as the reason they can't move to Utah. (But I was sort of with her on the family always trying to find the next new place to live, that would annoy me, too, just for the amount of money it wastes.)

Day'un was the reason for moving there (special program at the university for students on the spectrum), but he's long since dropped out, so no longer any legit reason to stay there...besides orneriness!

Christine's assessment (in the preview) of the state of her marriage v. the state of Robyn's marriage says it all.  It's a truth that also applies to Meri and Janelle.  I think Meri could make it on her own, if she were to leave.  I'm not so sure about Janelle.  She seems content to just park herself somewhere and slowly decompose.  What a sad and strange way to choose to live.

Kody reducing the size of Christine's parcel feels like he's trying to push her out.  He acts like he's trying to "benefit" each wife so him justifying her smaller parcel with the knowledge that Christine's kids don't want to live in Flagstaff just feels like an excuse.  I don't blame Christine for not being interested in this BS anymore.  She has been through enough humiliation.  I too thought they were going to build another cul de sac situation.  It's like Kody sees himself as the head of the family and none of the wives' opinions matter, except for Robin's of course.  Does he think the audience can't see through him?  He keeps trying to sell this shit.  The only reason Janelle and Robin are humoring him is because they're both getting what they want out of it.  In Janelle's case she has earned some respect from him just for kissing his ass and not being a problem and she's playing that card.  She may have fooled herself into thinking this is the best she can do and for now she's OK with it.  But Kody is seriously deluding himself and thinks he can fool everyone including the audience.  We're not buying it, douchebag.

In the preview Kody says he doesn't have a head wife in this family, which anyone with a brain stem knows if BS.  Either that or Robin is so manipulating him that he doesn't even know that she's the one in control of him.  And he sure has a "basement wife"!!!

I didn't see the preview, but I thought they showed a flashback to a meal with the Dargers?  Family friend who married his wife and then her two younger sisters - I think twins? - one of whom dyes her hair blonde.

Regarding Janelle's sons... I think Gabe is the smartest. He seems to be completely clear about Kody only caring about Robyn and her children. His body language shows a complete dislike and disregard for Kody.

Garrison continues to call his father and try to get through to him. He believes that Kody doesn't see them because of covid, not that he's using covid as an excuse to do what he wants, to spend all of his time at Robyn's. I don't think that he's fully accepted that his father doesn't care about him at all.

Hunter is complaining that he hasn't seen Robyn's kids. He also hasn't accepted that Robyn and Kody don't want a family with him.

It's very sad. Gabe seems to be the only one of Janelle's kids who knows the score and accepts it. It appears as though her other children are holding out hope that they really are a family and their father cares about them.

The way I remember last season ending was Kody blindsiding Christine.  He led her to believe that he was also going to advocate for moving back to Utah.  Then when she said her piece, he sat there grinning like the buffoon he is as she got torn apart by Janelle and Robin.  That is why she was devastated.  He once again proved he is no steward of her feelings, wants or desires.   Of course, I don't care to rewatch to make sure I am right in the way I remember it.

Alright, here's my quick thoughts in summary after catching up this morning.

Christine: So glad she got away from Kody and this entire group. I hope the show keeps her around so we can see how well she's doing.

Robyn: The whole world knows that she's the chosen wife. I'm not really sure what else there is to say about her.

Meri: I used to think she wanted to make Kody as miserable as she claimed he made her. Hell, she tried to leave him for a guy online who proved to be a catfish. Now I think she wants him again? I liked her within the last few years, but now I think she's crazy.

Janelle: I don't think Janelle knows what farm to table means. You can't grow Twinkies and Ding Dongs, and it's evident that most of her diet consists of those.

It was at the very end in the coming this season clips. It looked like Thanksgiving dinner around Robyn's giant table with all of her kids, but there was a young gal seated next to Kody I didn't recognize. Maybe one of the other mom's girls?

I’m looking forward to watching Kody become more and more demented as the season progresses.

He is totally unable to sell the idea of a huge happy polygamous family because his wives refuse to tell his lies. Every episode shows the truth. He has no control. Few of his children like or respect him. His wives are increasingly saying whatever they like regardless of what he thinks. 
I’m surprised no one else has mentioned the whistle he gave to his wives. Perfect example of how he thinks his wives should be following him around and be aware of him every second. Utterly disrespectful and I’m glad Christine called him out on it. I would have been much harsher to him.

I'm assuming they used Christine's income from the show to purchase the lot with her name, along with Kody & Robyns.    Can she push to have her portion of the down payment returned, or what would happen if she went to the bank, and said she wanted to default on that particular loan.    Same with Meri's lot.  

When Janelle said "give me the property" it was stunning.    Did she ever, once, put up any type of raised beds, or do any type of gardening when they lived in Vegas?  Since her rental was sold, and she lived in a trailer on the property for the summer, was she gardening then?  Where is she living now?  ⛺

Zoning prevents building within very specific boundaries of a retention pond.  The pond cannot be blocked, must be secured from people using it for recreation, etc.   So, how exactly are they going to build another house there?   Of course I know that this will never get built, and the entire property will go into default.    Getting utilities (water, sewer, etc) to those lots, from the main road, and roads will be in excess of $500K - and where is that coming from? Their savings? 🤣
