The two weeping willows, Anna and Mursel, got on my nerves.  He told you he didn’t want to tell his parents.  She insisted he tell. I personally felt why tell them when they are way on the other side of the world.  If Anna and Mursel were going to live in America I say, tell them whenever.  Did I miss what would happen to Mursel if he married Anna?   All that weeping and falling to knees...geeeez. I was saying hurry up and GTFO.  Lol

Part 1 of my observations from tonight. 

Grangela and Mykul. Don't care - wish they would be gone.

Mike and Nat. Does she have a mouthful of cotton?

Michael and Juliana. Unless she was morbidly obese or gave birth, there is no way in hell she lost 22 lbs in 2 weeks. Now I don't know what to believe from her. It sure was generous of her betrothed to get her a bicycle <sarcasm> unless she is not licensed to drive in the US.

Anna and Morsel. Still not buying any of this vomit inducing bullshit.

Blake and Jasmine. These two have zero chemistry or communication. Still can't figure out why she isn't staying with her bff sister. 

Tania and Syngin.  For chrissake you can cut an apple, you dumb cow. No words for the armpit smelling. She is just disgusting.

Juliana, it is easy to drop 160 lbs in one day. Dump the dude. She must have starved herself and worse to lose the weight. I would be a bit wary of my soon to be husband's ex-wife showing such an interest in me and my plans. Both seem to have agendas. I would be polite to my ex's new wife but that is about it and show some goodwill. The weird frozen smile in the car, taking her to get alterations the day before the wedding, asking what her work plans are, etc. was plain odd. Time for Michael, Sarah, and Juliana to set some boundaries.

You may also have fallen in love with the wedding dress, Juliana, but I doubt you fell in love at first sight with Michael. If he was poor, you'd be saying bye bye really fast.

The cake is so far safe with My-kull. Hope Ange eats it before hurling it at him. How can he be that desperate to hitch his Green Card wish to Angela? Flights to Nigeria can't be that cheap. Where is the money and the vacation time coming from?

Mursel and Anna - the weeping was getting to me. It really was.  A man crying and showing his emotions is something to behold. Crocodile tears, maybe. Toddler tantrum, probably. Mursel, I don't care if you are the only son and the only way you will get any inheritance is to obey your parents. You are almost 40 years old. Anna can offer you freedom, a home, and a ready made family for you to love (in time). I want to kiss you, I want to punch you. I also don't want my mascara to give me raccoon eyes. Mursel, go home.

Mike and Natalie - bye, Nats, at least for now. You did love Mike for a minute. What changed? When you realized you couldn't change him, you couldn't force a baby on him, you didn't like his belief in aliens? You didn't like that he was broke? Sure, you meet someone and spend a couple of weeks with him, and yeah, you are unsure that you love him. You might fall in love with him eventually. It was rude to throw the ring back at him but that is who you are - petulant, and tantrum throwing when you don't get your own way.

Syngin and Tania - life in the she-shed was getting to him. And of course he did absolutely nothing when she was gone - no money to take a course - just do the yard stuff and fix the she shed and try to get along with mom. Tania, you basically had a month long girls' break with a few hours of some witch doctor course thrown in to get a tax deduction. I don't get the idea that both of you have similar life values - Syngin is very much a character or an episode in your life. Marriage may not be the best idea.

Jasmin, your fiancé is in the entertainment industry, of sorts. Whether he amounts to anything is to be determined.  You would be expected to support him and his music, schmooze with record and industry executives, learn how to interact with them, show an interest in your husband. Behaving like a cold, never really thawing fish is not in your best interest. He does not seem to be a match for you. Maybe a dude with a little less public life. Or go back to Finland and Facetime with your sister. You don't have to bake cookies for his friends or anything, but a little bit of small talk will go a long way.

Slightly off topic.  I noticed a lot of comments in the live chat and on Pillow Talk about Mursel's bag.  I JUST noticed tonight I have the exact same Bagillini and, actually, when Mr. Cat decides to cram it full of about 20 pounds of stuff (you'd be AMAZED at how much stuff you can put in such a small bag) I can just make him carry it and most people just assume it is some sort of camera bag.  I'll rag on Mursel about a lot of things, but not the bag.

Juliana's back story is inconsistent and the fact she smiles when she talks about her 'terrible' backstory is called 'dupers delight'.

I had a modicum of respect when Mike didn't cave and chase when Glenn Close's  threw the ring into his suitcase and it was great the camera caught her look of surprise that her manipulation didn't work this time but again I have my doubts that is the end of their relationship.

This is sort of my biggest issue with Jasmin. Most careers have instances when their loved have to be supportive and schmooze for their partner. I get being an introvert. I'm one too, but sometimes you need to suck it up for people you love. The key is negotiating when you have to show up or how you show your support. The problem is that Jasmin is so tight-lipped and blank that I have a hard time empathizing with her. FFS, the mics caught Janette, her sister, asking Jasmin if she wanted to dance, so it's not just some Finnish thing.

If she is lucky, it is some office holiday party or work event a couple of times per year. I too am a bit of an introvert, but some basic conversation skills will work. She would work better with a man who has a regular job.

No but his friends would prefer her to get naked wasted and throw down shots with them 'cause they're weirdly involved in their buddy's relationship and they can't seem to wrap their head around anything else.  I don't get all the drama about Jasmin sitting down for the show. It looked like thirty people in a dingy club on open mic night, they played the smallest set in history (okay, it was probably longer than one chorus-and-bridge but that was all they showed us), and it was her first time going to one of his gigs. I don't think I'd want to admit that I was with the rainbow condom, either (thank you, Annie). 

All the above is why I'm glad the husband never has aspirations above "drummer in a local bar band that plays shows for fun and a little pocket money". Although I think I would make a pretty good Yoko.

I felt like Big Mike saw the crazy 2 eps ago and has been handling her until his flight home and he could get out. He handled that well. Other 90 day couples would have had throw down fights tons of drama, involving the parents etc. Big Mike just said goodbye and treated her mother with respect.  Good job big Mike. Natalie is CRAY.

Tanya Singin hot mess. She is horrid. Some plant  herbalist she is ---her orange daylily will last one day once it is picked.  She is going to go home and put it in a vase and yell that it didn't last  . For the record I thought it was sweet that he picked it for her . 

Blake and Finnish girl so boring.

Juliana is sweet. Sarah too. She loves the kids Sarah and her bicycle more than Michael though. Watch what happens.

Look at Mike's posture in that final interview with Natalie. He has his head cocked away from her as if he can't wait to get away from her. I almost wonder if he tried moving his chair away from hers and was told to move it back.

I loved when she threw the ring at him, then innocently (and disingenuously) asked if he was going to give it back to her, and he replied "Why should I? You just threw it at me." All she wants is drama.

Tania? Ugh. Either you want a relationship or you don't. If you don't, then come clean with Syngin, maybe have one or two last pity boffs, then send him back to SA. If you do want a relationship, then freaking act like it.

Blake and Jasmin: Yeah, it was probably embarrassing for him to miss part of his label's concert. And we've just reached the limit of my interest in these two.

Not sure what Sarah's angle is. I suspect she wants to get in tight with Juliana as a way of preserving her place with the children, i.e. if Juliana thinks of her as a friend, then she won't want to push Sarah out of the way. Or maybe Sarah genuinely likes Juliana. Or both. FWIW, my mother and my stepmother got along famously, so I know this kind of dynamic is possible.

I have no idea what Mykul sees in Angela. There MUST be more pleasant ways of getting a green card.

Anna and Mursel: Am I the only one who thinks Anna's declarations of "I'm never visiting you in Turkey" are foreshadowing of a TLC-financed trip, either for this series or a special down the line? (Note that I claim NO inside information or spoilers, as I haven't read any. I'm just spitballing.) I'd be just as happy to never see either of them again. I agree with others on here and Reddit who have said Anna may well have been Mursel's first sexual experience: he was acting exactly like I did at 18 when my first serious girlfriend dumped me. I got over it.

Mike and Natalie.  I kinda love him right now.  The tone in his voice when he said "Thank you!" when she tossed the ring in the suitcase was golden.  He was calm, measured and just wanted to get the heck outta dodge.  She loved loved loved him and wanted a baby RIGHT NOW until the debt issue surfaced.  Fair, but she communicated it all wrong.  And looked crazy while doing it!!  What was with the "I am a woman, I can change my mind" or something like that?  No, when someone asks me if I love my man, I don't hesitate.  Ever.

Jasmin looks exactly the same in every scene: bike shorts, sleeveless top, braids. She's a very strange woman, does she know what enthusiasm is? Emotions?

Syngin cannot seem to fathom that sometimes people work an entire lifetime at a job they aren't absolutely wild about.  

Tania is so remarkably unlikeable that it's easy to forget that syngin is unlikeable too.  

I think it's awful rich that Tania wants to talk to syngin about getting a steady and boring 9-5 while she wants to be a self employed soap making witch doctor. 

Of course this checks all tania's boxes.....she can claim to be a respected medical professional (betcha she starts putting Dr. in front of her name), she got to go on vacation, she won't have much work and it seems like a very unregulated industry so there won't be any state mandated expectations for results or even competent work.  

Did she ever bother to explain how she is going to meet these goals she has or did she just start to lay into syngin?  LOL.

Anyone else catch the smirk/smile face that Natalie did when Mike walked off the set? Total psycho right there. I was ready to throw my phone at the TV when she was giving him that face before he left and asking him to apologize. If he did, I'd have no TV left. I cheered when he said, "I'm not apologizing." The way she said  "He could have put the ring back on my finger," shows that she's all about drama and getting her way. It's wonderful to see someone with a backbone although it may be temporary. We'll see if he sticks to it.

Tania is just a skeevy looking maniac. I don't see anything remotely attractive about her. Syngin going on about how he wants to be a fireman, and a policeman, and a carpenter and all that jazz sounds like a 10 year old. You can tell that he's a sort of fly by the seat of his pants guy and Tania's personality does not match that at all. She seems the type to positively lose it when something goes off course. I have a couple of friends like that who are wonderful people, but boy if some plan has to drastically change at the last second or if someone springs something on them without a plan, they just can't handle it. Tania will forever be in freak out mode with this dude. He deserves better than this shrew.

I was sitting in the laughing gallery when Mursel and Anna were on, but most of my feeling was disgust at these people. Anna is bawling and begging a person who was a dick to her kids, made zero effort to get to know them, made them feel unwelcome in their own house, treated them like an inconvenience and never planned to tell his family that they existed, yet he wanted Anna to move to Turkey with him. This is who she was crying over. This is what she wanted to stay here with her. Fuck you, Anna.

Blake still pings for me and I cannot for the life of me understand how he is unable to see Jasmine for what she is. I totally got "Some Kind of Wonderful" vibes from the dark haired "friend" of Blake who wants to make sure Jasmine is in it for the right reasons. I thought I heard Blake call her stupid in the preview for next time. That'll go over big.

Slightly off topic.  I noticed a lot of comments in the live chat and on Pillow Talk about Mursel's bag.  I JUST noticed tonight I have the exact same Bagillini and, actually, when Mr. Cat decides to cram it full of about 20 pounds of stuff (you'd be AMAZED at how much stuff you can put in such a small bag) I can just make him carry it and most people just assume it is some sort of camera bag.  I'll rag on Mursel about a lot of things, but not the bag.

My father uses a beautiful, leather crossbody bag to carry his things.  My cousin bought it for him when he was traveling through South America. Between a wallet, a cell phone, keys, etc. I have no idea why more men don’t use bags to carry things. I have no idea why people are dissing Murcel’s bag.

Anyone else catch the smirk/smile face that Natalie did when Mike walked off the set? Total psycho right there. I was ready to throw my phone at the TV when she was giving him that face before he left and asking him to apologize. If he did, I'd have no TV left. I cheered when he said, "I'm not apologizing." The way she said  "He could have put the ring back on my finger," shows that she's all about drama and getting her way. It's wonderful to see someone with a backbone although it may be temporary. Tania is just a skeevy looking maniac. I don't see anything remotely attractive about her. Syngin going on about how he wants to be a fireman, and a policeman, and a carpenter and all that jazz sounds like a 10 year old. You can tell that he's a sort of fly by the seat of his pants guy and Tania's personality does not match that at all. She seems the type to positively lose it when something goes off course. I have a couple of friends like that who are wonderful people, but boy if some plan has to drastically change at the last second or if someone springs something on them without a plan, they just can't handle it. Tania will forever be in freak out mode with this dude. He deserves better than this shrew.

Blake still pings for me and I cannot for the life of me understand how he is unable to see Jasmine for what she is. I totally got "Some Kind of Wonderful" vibes from the dark haired "friend" of Blake who wants to make sure Jasmine is in it for the right reasons. I thought I heard Blake call her stupid in the preview for next time. That'll go over big. 

 

Blake and Jasmine are so very boring that I think production is trying to set up some fight/confrontation with Jasmine and blake's friend(s) to make them even marginally interesting.  The most interesting thing about Blake and Jasmine last night was the fact that.you can get the Dr. Huxtable sweater print in an entire sweatsuit with a matching ski mask.  

Natalie is just pushing boundaries to see how much shit she can get away with.  I feel sorry for Mike, it's hard to let go and she isn't going to make it easy.  But she is going to make his life miserable if he stays with her.  

I just LOL at the thought that this is tanias planned life track, because I feel like my life would have to have gone off course a few times to end up in my mom's shed with no plans of leaving. Oh wait, tanias plan to leave is for syngin to get a stable job and make enough money for them to move out.  god forbid Tania get a steady job working for far less than what she thinks she is worth.

I cannot stand Tania.  She is disgusting with the baby bird apple eating, the armpit smelling, the "I'm being lenient with you" statement, the dirty-looking, braless look and her total attitude.  I don't get Syngin with his childish job goals, wants to grow his own food due to not trusting supermarkets (How was that tiramisu with the supermarket label?), apple biting and sharing, and just being with Tania.  I wonder if they watch the show and like how they are portrayed.

Syngin strikes me as  someone who has grown up hearing anything is possible in the US. So he has some, what looks like to us, immature ideas about career goals. He has no clue about the educational costs here, no idea probably what prerequisites are, no idea that firefighters and police officers are highly trained professionals.

Tania doesn't seem to have a course to go off! She is a grade A shrew, lazy and selfish, full of herself with zero to back it up. I hope Syngin eventually dumps her.

I have not watched the whole episode yet,  but from what I did see,  I wonder how much drama could be packed into one show!? 

- The Beekeepers:  started out showing her shoving his clothes into a little suitcase and grocery bag,  saying she wants it all ready for him so she does not to have to talk with him.  I don't know if I missed something,  but I never saw much of a relationship between them to cause such heavy,  dropping to the knees sobbing! If this is all producer driven,  these two deserve an award! 

- Girl from Brazil and The Ex- Wife:  first of all,  if you're going to bicycle across town,  why wear a skirt?  I  foresee Brazil Girl & Wine Guy breaking up and Ex-Wife taking her in as a second daughter.  So, at age 14, she left home to be a "model" for zero pay and to be horribly mistreated by others, to leave that and head back home,  somehow gets involved in a cult where she is forced into a marriage.  Did she say she walked away without ever signing divorce papers?  

-Boob Purse "Woman" and Cake Toting "Man": The last thing Angela needs is more cake! After what happened with the last cake,  very brave of him!  Why does she think she knows everything?  Does she really believe he would have been granted the Visa if he told them that his mama threw 'Her' an engagement party? I am disgusted with the way she dresses.  She pushes her way through the airport like she is a celebrity,  uggg!  I cannot stand this woman. I cannot believe she bragged about that botox.

- Broke Alien Man and Crazy Ukrainian "Girl":  So, now she does not know if she loves him but can maybe grow to? Why did she accept the ring to begin with?  Why did she beg him to come to Ukraine again?  That's all I saw of them. 

- Mask from Finland and Record Label VP:  I wanted to grab that makeup brush away from her.  What was she doing?  She was just dabbing here and there.   And,  why is she not living with her bff sister or with him at his brother's?

I feel like Sarah is just trying to make the best of a weird-ass situation. Maybe once she got to know Juliana more, she realized that she was better off with her dope of an ex than living the life she was? So far, Wino Michael seems fairly harmless in the grand scheme of Juliana's life. Maybe Sarah sees that it's less about Michael's money and more about the opportunities for her in America? Sarah has her settlement and I would imagine they already have money set aside for their children's education. If they don't have a trust fund or something for the kids, it probably wouldn't take much convincing/manipulating to get that set up if there's so much concern about their inheritance...if there's even that much to go around 🤨 Sarah knows what Juliana is signing up for (just imagine that O-face), so I think there's more than a little bit of schadenfreude in this for her 🤣

I loved how Mike went upstairs to say goodbye to Mother Natalie.  That was very respectful.  He could have easily walked out the door.  I think she appreciated it, even though she really didn't seem to understand what was happening.

RE: Juliana.  

Maybe it's all a production setup, but who the hell goes over to drop off a cheer bag, stays for an incidental cup of coffee and drops their entire Dickens life story on someone they barely know?

I've never known anyone who has had such a tough life story to be so forthcoming with the details because they don't want to revisit the hurt and pain that come from those memories.  I dont think Sarah asked for any of that.  

I think that Juliana uses the sympathy elicited from her life story to manipulate others.  

I have no doubt that Juliana had a rough life and went through shit and I generally like her.  But I think she has embellished the story and maybe fabricated large swathes of it to elicit sympathy.

Honey, there are legit jobs if you want to be a professional "good person", there are homeless shelters, food pantries, animal rescues, etc. Like, if your financial aspirations top out somewhere slightly above living in a shed in your mother's backyard I can find you a job, like a real one with healthcare and PTO, that you can brag about doing because you are "making a difference".

Tania. This show has had its fair share of creepy old man, fetishists, gold diggers, narcissists, and fame whores, but I can say with confidence I’ve never hated a participant with the same white hot loathing that I do her. “I’ve been so lenient with you!” I don’t even know this woman and that made my blood boil. I would have absolutely handed her back her ass on a silver platter if she said that to me. What an insufferable, condescending, miserable loser. Syngin is right, she will go through her entire life claiming that no one ever understands her and victimizing herself as a pretext for controlling and demeaning everyone, but he’ll bear the brunt of it. Sure, he’s clearly a deeply damaged, unmotivated man with a Peter Pan complex. I don’t know if I would date him, but that doesn’t make him a bad person and he definitely doesn’t deserve the way she treats him like a servant worshipping at her altar. She also seemed very callous about his time in the mine, which clearly did some permanent psychological damage to him that he desperately needs therapy to process. I love him not giving a shit about her threats. "I'll leave you on the side of the road!" "Sounds pretty good right about now." HA. Eat shit, Tania.

This is going to sound weird, but Juliana and Michael’s ex-wife have one of the best, most wholesome relationships we’ve ever seen on the show. I’m hoping all the prenup shenanigans and fake parenting showdown was producer driven. I love when they were both in the car shit talking Michael. Sarah was so earnestly listening to Juliana when she was opening up about all the terrible things she’s had to go through. She actually respects Juliana and cares about her as a person instead of writing her off as an empty sugar baby or a kid. The scene between them in the bridal shop was very cute and they seem to have a great mutual friendship and understanding. Regardless of what happens between Juliana and Michael, I hope she and Sarah stay friends. It will drive Michael up the wall if nothing else.

Natalie is a gaslighting manipulator. “I threw my ring at him and he was supposed to put it back on me but he didn’t!“ So to be clear, you breaking off the engagement is a sign that HE doesn’t care? Huh? I’m sure she was being passive aggressive about saying she loved him in the interview because he had said or done something to piss her off the night before. It’s never ending with her, and she always has that vindictive deer in the headlights look. She’s beyond obnoxious. Mike needs to get out while he still can.

Watching Mursel and Anna break up 45 times was like watching high schoolers do poorly acted theater. What was up with all the kneeling and wailing?

LOL, neither Tania or syngin are interested in doing anything that isn't immediately interesting and fun.  

Tania's big concrete action thus far has been to take an education vacation in Costa Rica.  Let's see how many bars of soap she makes, whether or not she writes a business plan or does any other boring grind work in furtherance of her "goals"

Yet, when syngin shows the same unwillingness to do work unless it's fun and interesting she is "being lenient" because she, Tania, living in her mom's shed and making hypothetical soap, is such a superior grown up.

What really bothered me was Blake's friends talking her down constantly, for not jumping onto the stage to participate in the terrible "music".   Maybe they should consider the possibility that Blake and his group kind of suck.

Weren’t they the couple in the New York Times article from this summer? The one that was described as carefully analyzing every element of how they were portrayed on the show in order to put forward the best possible image? I shudder to think of what we would be watching if this is the sanitized version of them. And I watch Love After Lockup.

This confused me at first until I remembered they can’t have any kind of multi-syllabic conversation without Google Translate. It just took this long for them to figure out a method of communication that would work in the event of a dead phone battery.

I have to laugh, absolutely cannot picture Jasmine jumping onto any stage to dance if her life depended on it.  Even on her home turf, to music she loves.

I agree on that. She is shy around crowds and people she doesn't know.  But, it seemed like she was making an effort to meet Blake halfway by going to the show and inviting her sister.   That is why Blake's friends trashing her really bothered me.  

It seems like they want Jasimin to be a super fan for Blake, not a wife.  I'm not sure how good a match she is to be his wife, either.  But, she doesn't have to be his biggest fan to be his wife.
