Does anyone think Ava going to Sonny to help with Trina’s trial is just going to make things worse? Wanting Sonny to tamper with the jury is not a smart move for Trina or herself. She may be angry with Nikolas right now but it’s better for everyone if they work together as a team. Nikolas has the money and power to get Alexis pardoned for attempted murder, He could surely call in some favors at this point.Sonny having Dex do the job when he’s a double agent for Michael means he will do the opposite of what Sonny wants and it will end up in disaster for Trina and her possibly getting convicted.

I don’t know, if my boyfriend kept something this big from me I think I would be pissed.  Even if I intellectually understood why he did it I think the emotional part of me would still be mad he didn’t trust me.

And yeah, the guard who let Spencer leave should definitely at least be fired.  Maybe have Spencer pay a fine or something.

I guess the way i see it is this. Joss didn't need to know right that moment about what Spencer is doing. Cam was going to tell her eventually, an that should be good enough for her. And considering Joss can never keep her mouth shut about anything, had she known, she would have needled Esme with that truth, just like she did with everything else. 

Maybe if Joss simply had said,  it would have been nice if you guys trusted me, maybe i could have helped, that would be one thing, but simply being all. "YOU SHOULD TELL ME EVERYTHING, I'M YOUR GIRLFRIEND." just grates. i mean by that logic - she should have been on the phone ASAP to Cam telling her about Spencer being the alibi but she didn't.

If Joss made the issue that they shouldn’t have kept it from Trina, I might have sided with her. She’s the one who had to deal with the thought that Spencer didn’t believe her on top of the stress of the trial and Title IX hearing. However, she made it all about herself. Spencer and Cameron have their own relationship separate from Joss and she isn’t entitled to know everything Spencer tells him. If Trina told her something and asked her not to tell Cam, I doubt she would see it as an issue.
 

Also, Spencer’s reasoning for not telling Joss was valid. She runs her mouth without thinking of the consequences so the chances of her goading Esme with the knowledge that Spencer didn’t actually believe her to win their next argument was high.

Honestly Spencer’s reasoning never made any sense. He didn’t want to tell Trina because she’d tell Scott (her lawyer at the time), and he was worried Scott would use it for another case. Even if Spencer never heard of attorney client privilege it was convoluted soap logic. But this is Trina’s gripe, so shut up Joss.

I would be surprised if they gave Joss Dex as a boyfriend unless they have big plans for the actor.  As Carly's daughter, Joss is the preeminent among the teen set and he doesn't seem important enough to be her pairing.

I can understand using printed files, many doctors (especially older ones) like them because it's easier to read and find things.  What I found unrealistic is that only the lab has a printer to print them out, and that TJ is sending a nurse to get them.

It's a way of putting strange emphasis on random words that don't need to be emphasized and pauses in the middle of the sentence for no reason. It used to drive me nuts when Sofia did it. She's toned it down now but Katelyn seems to have picked it up.

I honestly don't remember the ins an outs of the plan - but I will say, other than being completely rude to Britt (when he didn't have to be). I think considering what Spencer had to work with - it was relatively solid. Esme for the most part isn't stupid. Had he been all #TeamTrina - Esme would/could try to make something worse to her. 

Joss who is #bestfriendever!! has no regards to people's wishes and if she saw an opportunity to needle Esme over the fact that Spencer didn't believe her, she would have tap danced that all over Esme's head like she had every other opportunity. 

again since i don't remember all the ins and out - I think the fact that Spencer immediately went on the stand and confessed about being with her makes me believe that he wasn't doing this to protect himself. (so much), and only spilled the beans because Trina was gonna [because he didn't know that Trina was gonna, and that Joss knew] more than trying to get this resolved without unleashing Esme on people again. 

the only thing he didn't account for (which he couldn't possibly have known) was Ryan and his end run, because it to me looked like Esme would have buckled, but Ryan broke her. 

And i know we've all said it, but man, what a total waste of what could have been a great soapy story that had legs for years but they wasted it. (again).  because all I keep thinking is, if everyone believes Trina, why is this a storyline. And it hinges on the belief that "Only Trina could have done it and oh by the way you can totally set your phone to send an email whenever." but ignore the fact that anyone could have set the phone up, picked it up, and simply placed it in Trina's bag since who has their eye on their bag 24/7. When the victims testify for the person you are trying to accuse - this is no longer compelling. 

They should have 
A: made this end the Joss/Trina friendship because Carly + Joss did not believe Trina when she said she didn't do it 

Ab: not have Esme send the tape and she has to figure out who did it, while she + Cam are falling in love and then she has to hide the fact that she did film them.

B: not make this criminal until you find out WHO sent it, and then get Esme in trouble for going through the trouble of making it

C: focus on the fact that a LOT of homemade sex tape are done by the participants. (that got dropped SO fast to zero on "revenge porn") - that should have been the angle after the found out who filmed it. (which could have been soapier because by this time Cam+ Esme fell in love or whatever)

D: completely have this focused on PCU. I mean PCU is a magic school, so if they wanna use the set, just say that the law progamme uses it for mock trial or whatever

E - not include ryan in this. (That just made it ... not so compelling,  - unless they make this Kevin's daughter that Ryan stole and twisted, but I doubt that's happening). 

Joss could be over Cam and still be all google eyes at discount Jason. Cam + Esme has food for years because of this tape. Spencer and Trina can either be or not be an Rory is such a non factor you can keep him in or out it's moot.

This is common sense. Trina and the victims are saying that someone else did it and the boyfriend of the someone else has given the accused an alibi and is accusing said girlfriend of said crime.

This whole Waking Up Oz is so stupid. Even if Trina gets convicted, there must be a way to introduce new evidence later. None of these adults are rootable for.

Why isn't Brando calling Sasha's psychiatrist? Girl needs medical attention even if she's in jail. My city isn't perfect but at least here they would have sent a mental health worker to the police call.

I mean, I realize the bartender sold someone a burner phone, but he really doesn't deserve to DIE because his testimony might possibly help Trina (AKA baby girl) not have to spend one day in jail. For fooks sake, people! 

Also, Joss and Carly (granted they were already on the list) for discussing what Sonny's witness tampering means to them with nary a thought about the man who just had his life and family threatened by mobsters.

Baby girl is something I've heard used by my southern relatives for more decades than I care to admit. I didn't hear it much during my Midwestern upbringing.

This show needs to lay off the legal stuff. 

I didn't mind the Carly and Joss scenes overall. Zen Carly is kind of funny. Do you think they got tired of everyone calling her Snarly? If so, I for one appreciate the effort.  🙂

Yes, that is such a terrible, illegal plan. Since her daughter is the defendant, she needs to stay 1000ft from that patient or the evidence he might utter will be tainted. Fruit of the poisonous tree or something similar I'm sure

honestly the terms of endearment never really bother me. like my gramma called all of us (boys and girls) a  special endearment, My mom calls me precious pie (sometimes very snarkily when i am in trouble LOL). "Baby/Babe" always bothered me because it just sounds... dumb. like i said but like i never see a fundemental issue with it.

For the first half of their scenes as Joss was droning on, it really did look like even Carly was over her complaining, which I approve.
