Heh. I've felt like this thread has been moving noticeably slower than last year's, so I went back and looked. By this point in the game last year—the start of Day 57, the week following Bayleigh becoming the first juror and right after Fessy broke the sink—we were already on page 305. So that's quantifiably how much duller this cast is, 100+ pages and counting.

This really has been a boring season and it's because the casting was so bad. There's some freedom in it because I'm not at all invested in who wins or who stays or goes, so I'm never freaking out about any of it, but isn't that the fun of it? I just have no real feelings about any of these people. Even the "good guys" are extremely meh and pretty dumb. I also take issue with the Christie/Tommy thing, which would be totally fine if it were a twist that everyone was involved in, but it's not and it kind of ruined it for me from day 1. Kind of a sad season, but I'm grateful to all the feed watchers who find real funny where it's very hard to find!

I have no idea what I walked into on the feeds but there's been some house-wide conversation on water and what is wet versus what we perceive to be wet and temperature and pressure and I think they're giving them edibles in the DR now or something because what? Only it turns out that Nick is the type of stoned dude who doesn't chill and instead gets crabbier and I think him and Tommy are breaking up over water pressure. Or something.

They may be high but I'm definitely not the right kind of high for this.

HAHAHAHA

sink.gif

I noticed they reinforced that sucker this year. Was that before or after Brett broke the glass in the front door? Last year's build was so shoddy.

This is what happens when you have a "house" on a set not subject to building codes.  See kids, sometimes the rules really are for your own protection.

In this season's defense, a good many of last season's posts are probably just me talking about how mindnumblingly boring I found it.

I still think this season is more interesting than last. This time last season it was obvious Tyler would be F2 and run the entire game. This season I have no idea who will get there and there isn't 1 person running things.

That being said though, what an utterly boring week this has been lol.

It is nice to have no idea who could win this season, yes (and, to be fair, Tyler didn't even win, so that was a nice twist last year). But at the same time, at least things were still happening.

This season, I've either been pissed off, excited and then supremely disappointed, or bored. The most excitement we had was the night of Sam's eviction. We've had some excitement since but the moment Tommy won veto this week, it sucked the fun out of the season again.

I can only hope things get back to being fun but....c'mon, there should be SOMETHING happening.

I have been desperately manifesting the swift evictions of Christie, Tommy, Snackson, Snackson's watermelons, Anal Lice, and Nick. Wondering if I need to seek the assistance of some extra helpers. Maybe Raven the Puppetmaster or her Mensa mom? Grandpa Joe?

I agree about last year's predictability, but I really enjoyed the season. I laughed. A LOT. Sam, Fessy, Brett, Kaitlyn, Rockstar...the insanity of Sam, the delusion of Swaggy C. There was SO much to work with.

This year I feel like I've got...Jackson's watermelons.

In all fairness 😁

Nick has us guessing on what side of the street he actually wants to play on .... duo’s, trio’s.  One doesn’t know.

Jackson may be doing important work here in determining whether or not massive watermelon intake may have calming effects on a person.

....

Was going to add one for Christie but I’m actually feeling a little bad for her right now. She’s taking the field trip vote hard.  As a nonfeed watcher that’s my take anyway.

I guess it depends who gets HOH on Thursday. If it's Tommy & gang he'll stick with them. If it's Nicolle or Cliff he'll nudge his way in there. Everybody knows this so I don't know why they just don't nominate him and vote him out.

No he said it in the DR - i mean things can change but at that moment he said he was fully on board with those 3 because they had a better chance of winning comps.

This made me lol, and I actually think (if the houseguests had, like, consented) that that would be HIGH-larious 😂😂 And... you know .... BB films in California, so it'd be totes legal. That truly could be the one thing that might save this season. 😂

Otherwise, WE all get ourselves a bag of weed, and that might could help too! LOL. 😂

So, I hope this Thursday's HOH is the Slip n Slide because Jackson has the best chance to win that.

I hate that I'm even rooting for anything Jackson, but here we are. He seems to be one of the only two willing to put Christie up (Nicole is likely the other one).

And cause I hate Jackson I will NEVER EVER root for him to win anything except Getting booted next.

Jury house footage just kinda depends on if they need filler or not.  Generally we see the jury house after the 2nd person get theres, so likely chances are we'll see it next Thursday. But there was at least one season where we didn't see it until about 4 people were already there.

He might just get the greatest redemption story of the season if he continues to gun for Christie.  He was really likable the last episode.

And to whomever said certain people weren't comp beats. There are no comp beasts this season. Even Jack sucked at comps.

No redemption for me. Still has been the most disgusting person in the house.

I agree, 20 was a group of likable people sandwiched between the gross 19 and the seriously messed up 21.  Drama causes controversy which results in viewers, but if 21 had followed right behind 19, I may have abandoned ship on this show.  It was cool that we got a good palate-cleansing group of nice weirdos in that house on 20 to help wash away the bitter aftertaste of pot-clanging, bed-hopping yuckness.

Didn't James--from some season--get involved in porn after BB?

ETA: Okay, it was James Zinkland from BB9 who had a gay porn past before BB and possibly after.

Will from BB5 did some gay porn afterwards.

True. ☺️ And it was so weird for me since it was the first time I remember really disagreeing with you on anything bigger than the spelling of "yeah." (In my head, I always read your posts in church voice because instead of spelling it like "hell yeah," you spell it like "yea verily," LOL.)

Why do all the twists have to backfire? I know it's like BB's law that they do but expect the unexpected becomes expect this twist to go horribly wrong. Like the idea of the 3rd nominee was great and caused Christie to get a huge reality check about how the viewers feel about her. But to make it an effective twist they should have stipulated that the 3rd nominee was ineligible for veto. Or done the field trip comp after veto. Like what a waste of people's time. Ugh.

Agree.  I’m so bitter Tommy won the veto.  This season was starting to get exciting.  Nope.

Now hoping that Jackson or Holly win HOH which is just tragic.

Except if it would have been someone people really liked (granted that wouldn't happen this year...) and they had no chance to save themselves... the BB audience would be pissed off.  So you really can't win either way.

UO: I do not think that the twist was a failure. It was supposed to be some additional hurdle in the game, not complete throw the game off course so that no one could plan for that. In the end Tommy did have to win the veto to overcome the twist, so the twist served its purpose.

If Jackson leaves next, Christie/Tommy steamroll the season, 100%. They'll bring in Holly, since Holly will have no place else to go, and Nicole and Cliff will be picked off.

If Jackson wins HOH, there's at least a chance of the power shifting. Not that I don't want Jackson to go, but he's one of the better options to win HOH on Thursday. It's either him, Sis, or Nick (if it's the predicted slip n slide comp), and those options are terrible in itself. I recognize that production loves Jackson. I just recognize that he's a necessary evil right now. He can go during the DE, which should be next week (hopefully). But he needs to be here to take a shot at Tommy/Christie/Analyse, or else they become too powerful. There's one more opening left before they steamroll. This upcoming HOH, believe it or not, is the most important HOH yet.

However, Nicole winning HOH would be even better.

Tommy needs to be targeted, though. He's dragging the season down for me. He's so static in his gameplay. Taran Armstrong phrased it best on the morning update: Tommy thinks he's better off playing a Kaycee game. Tommy is playing loyal to his allies and refuses to let anything go. He's laying low, hiding behind the Alpha (Christie) so he can coast by as much as he can, but winning where he needs to.

I liked Kaycee and appreciated what she brought last season, but her gameplay really WAS boring and required Tyler to screw up in order to pull out a win. Tommy cannot replicate that gameplay, especially since it was literally just done last year.

If Tommy goes, the season shifts into something vastly more interesting. Nick and Analyse lose their F3 ally, Christie loses her pre-season ally, and the Six Shooters stop trying to reform with a new member.

Unfortunately, Tommy's basically guaranteed F3, at this rate. And I absolutely hate it.

I think Steven from BB10 did also.

Why?  Is this just what famewhores do to extend their reality TV based fifteen minutes of fame?  Or are they actively recruited by the porn industry as BB alums?  Or does BB just attract the kind of hamster who has an inevitable future in porn?

(I'm also wondering if the pornos they film have anything to do with BB style themes, because if so, there's a huge BB subculture out there I know nothing about....)

They really need to come up with some new variations on the PoV.   They have Regular, Golden and Diamond but basically use the Golden all the time.  How about a Veto where the winner can only use it on their self.  That would have been perfect for this week.  Christie would have a shot, but if she couldn't won herself then she was screwed.   I know everyone is tired of Idols on Survivor, but they do try to mix it up once in a while and come up with different variations--or at least have different ways to acquire them.

I doubt they're pursued that hard but rather express some interest.  I'm sure they seek it out for continued fame and if they do the producers eat it up because people are always titillated seeing someone in porn that's known for more than porn.   It's really no different then when it was a BFD for a female celebrity to pose in Playboy.

Good question about JH.

Ah, no. That was a completely different foot encounter. The target/bullseye room happened two weeks ago? Ish? Pretty sure it was pre-dildo rocketard.

Tommy seems to have a foot fetish and I'm guessing Nick knows that.

This just reminded me of the (failed) twist in BB6 where they introduced the potential of nobody winning PoV. But I believe they only implemented that possibility in one competition, and the likelihood of nobody winning was microscopic because it would have required that none of the players scored a single point. Maybe they could bring back similar to that?

Additionally, an unpopular opinion: Besides being an irredeemable dirtbag (like Dick, Boogie, Gina-Marie, etc.), I believe the most objectionable qualities in a houseguest are self-righteousness and lack of self-awareness, so if Nicole, Kat, Cliff, or Jess can't win, I'm rooting for Jackson. He's an insensitive jerk, but at least he understands he's an insensitive jerk. I prefer that to somebody like Christie who preaches about what an amazing person she is, then turns around and gloats about how she hopes the outsiders are suffering in the game.

If anyone is wondering why there aren't updates, it's because the feeds are both boring and shitty.

I recall trying to watch the feeds during one of the decent seasons (it might have been the Brigade season because I remember Enzo going on and on about being so famous and renting out a riverboat or some such nonsense) and that bored me to tears.  I cannot imagine having to watch the feeds when the season is the shits.

Great minds think alike I suppose because I did the exact same thing the other night.   I was going to post a comment in here about how this season probably will not pass the five hundred page mark (I was checking to see when last season got to two hundred pages in relation to the current season).  Then I realized I make so many off-topic posts (like this one) so I decided not to post anything.

Well, it seems that DR prompted Nicole to consider flipping her vote for tomorrow night's show (as nobody had really discussed keeping Kat until tonight) because Nicole is considering keeping Kat over Cliff.

Theoretically, it should go nowhere and Nicole should be voting Kat out, as it usually happens a night before an eviction after someone comes out of the DR with this epiphany.

But never say never. At least it's some excitement.
