Tyler to Kerthy on the porch: “I really wanted that baby. Life just isn’t giving me a break now.”

Yeah, and that’s why Catelynn wants to die — but she is desperate and doesn’t want to lose him.

Send your little gargoyle to school and you won't have to worry about a set teacher giving her candy, Farrah.

Didn't Catelynn tweet "I've thought of all the possible ways I could kill myself" line also. I also don't buy Tyler really wanting that baby either and he also seemed relieved to send Cate away to rehab. You don't show yourself living the life on social media while your wife is away, being treated for severe mental health issues.

I love how the doctor mentioned a change in diet could help with PCOS; that means cut back on the alcohol, Maci!

At first I thought Maverick favored Maxi, but now I see he has Taylor's features but with Maci's coloring and big head.

Another example of how Amber is so fucking lazy. You can’t throw this Matt mat away and buy another off Amazon?

Hahahaha! I didn't even notice that. What a cuckhold Andrew is.

I'm no expert, but I always thought that starches needed to be limited with PCOS. Beer is very starchy.

My son died in his sleep. it was a complete surprise, there were zero signs that anything was wrong. Time was the only thing that helped with grief. I couldn't imagine if my entire livelihood swirled around me having to relive that moment over and over and over again. IMO, Cate and Tyler haven't been able to properly process or move on from the Carly adoption because they literally have to relive it and their feelings about it to get paychecks. Weird.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks. I've had time to process and it's no longer fresh for me, but it's still painful.

I went back and watched Tyler's scenes again. I think he was genuinely distraught when Kerthy told him about Cate but I wonder if a small part of him broke down out of anger. This happens sometimes with caretakers and it's a perfectly normal human reaction. Tyler probably feels that he is doing everything to "move 'em on up" and create this Pinterest-perfect life but his family keeps falling apart. Pretty much everything falls on his shoulders. I don't blame Cate for falling apart, and I don't blame him for whatever mixed emotions he probably has. I have zero love for Tyler but I DO have some sympathy.

Is this the trip to treatment that Tyler ended up going out and getting rip-roaring drunk after dropping Cate off?  I'm only asking because from what I remember of the video, it looked really bad on his part.  After seeing what he's been going through leading up to it?  Yeah, not the best idea but I get it a little better now.  I can't blame him and I probably would have done the same. (Not exactly but I would probably get drunk and take a break to cut loose from reality.  He was really pushing the breaking point at that moment.)

Because we all took our children to the Beverly Hills hotel to celebrate their ninth birthday...um, no we didn't.  I for one invited his classmates to an arena to play a game of laser tag & have some pizza & cake.  How weird!

"What's the point of the teacher?'  to educate your bratty ass, you little cretin.  Unless you're just going to earn a living as a porn star...never mind!

I'm so confused about Catelynn, I can't imagine she wanted a baby b/c she barely pays attention to Nova!

Also, wtf is Amber going to do when James is born?  Yikes!!!

I was thinking about all of these girls, and I really don't get why they're so compelling to watch (yet I do.  and I will.).  Literally not one of them is terribly intelligent or interesting, or has a great personality.

yes, Chelsea's fine, but the silliness gets on my nerves, so...

Can I say how much I LOVED that 90% of Amber's segments tonight were actually about Gary??? I would be thrilled if MTV just edged her right out. I mean, what does she do? Nothing. Her idea of bonding time with her kid is getting a massage? Just one more activity where she can lay down?? I don't know about y'all, but I don't know too many 8-year-olds who would enjoy a massage. They have too much energy for that! Amber, Leah isn't your contemporary. She's a CHILD. Find out what she wants to do, and do that!

A thousand likes.  The show is so much more enjoyable without Amber.  For three years now all she’s done is a sloth impression on air.  She is boring as fuck.

Agree with all the posters who say that this show has been the worst thing that could ever have happened to any of these people (I'm including all the family members and hangers on ).  While many teen mothers have their children and either mature because they have to for the child's sake or in the case of giving them up for adoption have had to learn to get on with their lives, these people have profited by staying in a state of perpetual drama in search of a storyline to keep the franchise relevant and the pay checks coming.

I am going to sound heartless, but it seems to me Catelynn has some kind of issue that she needs constant sympathy, attention and pity. If she starts to live just a normal life she freaks out and needs to have a meltdown so all attention is back on her.  I was 6mo pregnant when my baby was dx with anencephaly. I had to go to the hospital for a late term abortion, which is actually induced labor at 6mo along.  You can look up details if you need them, baby would have died moments after birth or stillborn. Talk about grief.  So imo C n T need to cry about their loss, revel in their blessings and get on with their family's life.  This show is harming almost everyone involved.

I see you, Mom.  I'm sorry for your loss.

My son was stillborn at 32 weeks and his surviving twin sister spent 28 days in NICU.  After spending 6 weeks with a therapist who was doing absolutely nothing for me, I turned to a facebook support group of Moms who had early losses, stillbirths, or infant deaths.  I didn't run off to rehab; I dealt with the freak accident of my son's death.  And I am stronger today because of it.

On another note:  Farrah.  In what world does the employee get to fire her boss(es)?  Isn't it the other way around?

WTH with Maci and her producer sitting on the couch and complaining that PCOS is a “manageable disease”?  Have they watched Leah and Corey’s segments on TM2?  Gain some perspective and broaden your horizons beyond your little bitty pampered life in Chattanooga.  I thought they were so insensitive.  Would they rather PCOS not be a manageable disease?

I might give it a pas if Leah was 1 or 2 maybe even 3 years old but she's in school with others kids.  It's really a baby nickname I cringe when Amber says it.

I admit sometimes call my son monkey because he loved Curious George as a toddler,  and monkey stuck . However never in front of other kids and it's usually just when he allows me to snuggle with him , lol.

Wait, so Farrah seriously just showed up at a house that was for sale, unannounced, and asked to come inside and look around??? What the hell?? That's not how that works.

Farrah is such a major asshole.  As has been said, the rules don't apply to her!  Then when she acts like an asshole and people say something about it she accuses them of sexual harrassment!  Seriously?  WTF!  That is absolutely vile.  Vile and despicable!

2 hours ago, ghoulina said:

Farrah is just an impossible person. It's not just her mother. It's not just production. She genuinely thinks she can glide through life doing whatever-the-fuck she wants. She saw that sign saying, "Don't disturb the occupants" and goes up there anyhow. The rules don't apply to her. It's the same with the set teacher thing. CA laws don't apply to her. Just like Sophia should have been allowed to wear makeup to school. She is above all laws, rules, common decency. If it was just ONE person, okay. But it's everyone. The asshole is her. And Sophia is going to turn out just as bad, or worse, after continually witnessing these displays. You can tell Michael is just barely holding it in.

That being said, I wish MTV would drop the whole porn angle as part of their grievance with Farrah. I think her treatment of staff is enough. But raising an issue with her adult work just seems petty and hypocritical. I mean, I have a real disdain for the sex industry myself, but let's be real - half of the shows on MTV these days look like soft-core porn. And, what? It's okay to show people so whacked out on heroin that they almost kill everyone on the freeway.....it's okay to show women physically assaulting their mates....it's okay to show children and dogs being neglected and verbally abused....but we can't have a woman on the show who does porn but doesn't actually do it ON the show? Give me a break.

Farrah is awful. Just leave it at that. Don't try to act like this is some moral platform, because it isn't.

ITA with all of this!  Farrah does NOT get along with anyone.  In all these conflicts, the common denominator is Farrah!  There is plenty for the producers to go on to can Farrah and the porn angle is the least of her transgressions.  Her pet gremlin is an infantile 9 year old and she is getting worse by the day.

********************************************

Amber ~ her scenes in this episode all looked like footage filmed over the summer.  Her hair was bleached like that this past summer and that's when she was wearing that rag tied around her head for a month or so.  In every scene with Amber, they were wearing summer clothes.  Well, everyone except Amber; she was wearing bed sheets.  All the other scenes that had nothing to do with her they were wearing cold weather clothes.

Maci ~ I'm speaking about and giving information on PCOS because Maci has made it such a huge story line.  PCOS is mainly a high blood sugar/insulin resistance issue.  Usually those issues go along with excess weight.  Many people think the PCOS causes the high blood sugar/insulin resistance and weight gain but the opposite is true.  Control your nutrition by cutting out sugar and junk carbs, concentrate on regulating blood sugar levels, and walk for 30 minutes 3-4 times per week to see improved health.   The main medications to treat PCOS are birth control pills and Metformin (which is a Type 2 diabetes pill).  Type I diabetes is caused by a pancreatic disorder where the pancreas doesn't produce insulin.  Type II diabetes is caused by poor nutrition and it is preventable.  It is also somewhat reversible is caught early enough.  Chronically high blood sugar causes damage to the body at a cellular level.   In our modern pharmaceutical worshiping society, not many people want to hear or believe this though.  Way back when Hippocrates said "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food."  For anyone struggling with their weight and poor health, I highly recommend the following plans:  Whole 30, Dr. Davis Wheatbelly, Vinnie Tortorich's No Sugar, No Grains and Trim Healthy Mama.  Check the books out from your library to see what they are about and which one you think you would be most compliant with.  Give yourself a week to start seeing the benefits!  If you are on insulin or high blood pressure meds, the books I listed above generally have information about speaking with your doctor to wean off these drugs once you begin healing yourself with better nutrition.

If Maci really does have PCOS she needs to put down the beer cans, junky fast food, sugary Starbucks, etc and kick her nicotine habit and get off her ass and go for walks a few days a week.  E cigs or whatever are a better alternative than smoking cigarettes but nicotine is a nasty drug.  It is a vasoconstricter which is just bad news because it causes high blood pressure.  Yes, I speak from experience because I kicked a nasty cigarette habit myself.  I still say I'm a smoker who chooses not to smoke.  It has been years and I still feel the urge, but when I do I make myself do something active so I remind myself how much I like breathing without difficulty.

I don't have time to discuss Cate right now, but I would like to.  Maybe I can come back this afternoon.

You are right. MTV should be blamed for Ryan and his DUIs. The way I see it, Ryan is a c*** for driving under the influence more than once and endangering the lives of many people while Mackenzie allowed it on at least one occasion while on camera. They are both worthless assholes.

If someone got hurt in an accident, wouldn't MTV be sued for not stopping him from driving?

AND paying for it no doubt!   Time he looked after himself!!!!!

This is another reason why the show has been bad for them. I think they're mainly still together because of the show. Tyler would have left long ago, but he loves the image he's cultivated as the world's most supportive husband. I DO think he loves her; I think his concern for her and pain is real. But it's the love you have for a family member. They've known each other their whole lives, they share children together. Of course he loves her! But I do not think he's in love with her. Nor do I think they are healthy for each other. They are both way too damaged to be good support systems for ANYONE, let alone another severely damaged person.

In a perfect world, they would have gave their baby up, split up not long after, received therapy, gone to school, entered a trade....moved on. This show has kept them in this limbo where they can't let go of each other, or Carly. It's fucking them up. Bad.

I'm the queen of nicknames. My kids have a million. Wampy, Lady, ___-Bear, Sauce Bucket, Muffin, Jum-Jum, Squish Berry Pie. I could go on and on. I only say these at home, though. I would never call my kids by these names in front of their friends OR on national TV.

When I was watching the Farrah story line, I just kept thinking it's time for this show to end. It's time for them to experience the real life...for their sake and the sake of their children.

Farrah is such a major asshole. If I was the owner of the house listed for sale, I would have told her to go away. I couldn't believe they let her in. If I was her real estate agent, I would've fired her.

Since MTV let the porn go previously, they are just using it as the final reason now. They have been over her shit for a while. They can't even film because of the SET teacher situation and her being a giant c**t about the SET teacher.  A total waste of production money.

Ok, So I am reading all these confessionals about nicknames like Monkey and alley cat---as if there is any comparison to Booger Butt. Every nick name other posters have said is kind of cute or charming in its own way. Calling your lovely little girl booger butt - essentially a green yellow wad of dried nasal waste in combination with butt - where poo comes out has to be the most disgusting "term of endearment" I have ever heard. It makes me want to gag when I hear/read it. Let's combine a term for dried mucas with the one body part associated primarily with shit and call our beloved child that. It' just about the trashiest thing ever, and I think it reveals a certain amount of disdain that Amber has for her child to call her something so vile. What's next  Fart Lips or Barf belly or Puke pants?

And in a totally unrelated topic - Does the title of this episode remind anyone of Stuart Smalley? Yes, yes. I am dating myself egregiously. But gosh darn it I'm beautiful. I'm smart. I'm strong. And people like me!

I don’t think the situation has happened yet — but I do believe the injured party (even if it was Ryan driving while under the influence) would have a reasonable case against MTV/production for not stopping him AND filming him.

It looks like they now have a crew of 6 or 7 filming with each TM.  2 producers, location scout/PA, 2 cameras, sound and security - plus a set teacher when in California.

Good God, Farrah is a heinous bitch. Sophia will be worse because all she sees is her mother treating others like crap. She already parrots everything Farrah says, "I don't like David, I don't like the teacher." Kristen the producer looked so stressed out when she realized they were going to have to discuss the set teacher issue with her because she knew Farrah was going to blow up about it.

All of this! I will give Farrah a tiny bit of credit for making money and doing it her own way but she makes it impossible to root for with her stank ass attitude. Amy, are you sure you want to marry into this?

My brothers nickname as a child was Name-ie Boy. After a while it somehow got shortened to just Boy and he is still Boy at 28. It's funny when my mom or Grandma says "Boy, can you help me with this?" like we couldn't bother remembering his name and we just refer to him as Boy. We only do it among family though and of course we know his name :) Are we sure Amber knows Leah's name?

When I was 8, I'd have LOVED a massage.  I was a super girly kid and I also liked doing "grown up" things, having my nails done, having tea, etc.  Sadly for me, I was born back in the old days where having my nails done meant mom did them and not getting a pedi at a local nail place like it does now.  But, I'd have had a blast as a kid now, with kid spa treatments and tea parties! And then I'd have gone outside and dug in the dirt.

I wonder if Farrah and MTV had an agreement about the porn situation when Teen Mom OG started filming again.  If they did, and she had said she wouldn't be actively filming anything while also filming Teen Mom, then I don't particularly blame them for having an issue with it.  Personally, I don't think it's a super huge issue, as it's legal and she's earning a living and supporting herself and her child, but, if it was an agreement they had that she is violating, then she's violating an agreement.  She IS horrible in her treatment of the producers and support staff (not sure how else to term it), and should pretty much be let go just for that.  I agree that they've likely covered a lot of past issues up and now they are showing them, and she's just a horror to work with.  Even if she had a producer that she loved, who was willing to put up with her shit, she was still horrible to other people during that time frame, so they need to just cut their losses and end it with her.

I sometimes call my son "fartknocker" because, well, he's REALLY gassy and it sounds like someone's knocking at the door. But I don't do it every day. Or in public. Or in front of his friends. Or outside of the house. Or on camera. And I've only kept it up because he thinks it's hilarious and has taken some pride in it. The fact that Amber continues to do this even though it could follow Leah through school and cause public embarrassment just slays me. I'm starting to think that she just doesn't remember the kid's name.

When Cate was saying "I'm beautiful, I'm smart, I'm strong", I flashed back to a scene when April was telling her what a worthless little bitch she was.  And that was on camera, when Cate was a teen.  We have not seen a fraction of a percent of the ways she has been torn down her whole life.  She has no idea what self worth is, she's almost going to have to go back to a child-like level to get it.  What I mean by that is that she'll have to take pride in small accomplishments first, possibly even daily tasks.  Then build from there.  She might have to start off where most people start off building confidence in their toddlers.  I'm not snarking at all here, she was deprived of that developmental stage.  Now Nova gets to pay for it.

I definitely hear what you're saying, and it breaks my heart.  BUT...Cate was given a golden opportunity.  She & Ty had much adoration, especially at the beginning.  She *could've* built a semblance of a life for herself, and derived validation from that, no?  (ie going into social work or becoming an adoption counselor)

I might be judging too harshly here, but I don't have a shit-ton of patience for someone who just seems like an incredibly selfish mother
