Tikichick September 14, 2021 Share September 14, 2021 When ours were little, but school age, we had a tree swing in our back yard that was a circle seat made to look like a daisy with a rope through the center, a cylinder with a bouncy spring about ten feet above the seat and then more rope up into the tree. There was always a line of kids impatiently waiting for their turn whenever we had friends or family over. Fun times. 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/224/#findComment-7004791

It took me until I was 30 to fully embrace wearing sunscreen every single day. A friend of mine died at 23 from skin cancer, and she was just the most joyous, brilliant delight of a person. It was shocking. So since then I haven’t left the house without sunscreen, it’s been 20 years. I’m lucky I have oily skin, because I only have the slightest wrinkles on my forehead so far. I do have blotchy arms when you look at them in bright light. Light and dark sun spots. id be surprised If Joy has given it much thought at her age. Ijustwantsomechips September 30, 2021 Share September 30, 2021 Evelyn is already not a traditionally cute baby (and that’s the nicest way I can say it.) Joy isn’t doing her any favors by dressing her in such colorless, ugly clothing. I know it’s a thing on Pinterest, but that outfit looks like undergarments from the turn of the last century. There are lots of cute outfits in fall colors that would have looked so much better. It’s her kid and her choice, but she’s missing some opportunities to play up those chubby baby legs. Gracie looks cute as always and the other little girl looks joyful. My grandma and her sister, who were very pretty women, were well aware their daughters were not cute babies, so they always said they knew to keep them dressed in cute clothes. I think of that every time I see poor Evelyn in a potato sack. 13 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/224/#findComment-7034660

Popular Post Ijustwantsomechips October 6, 2021 Popular Post Share October 6, 2021 I have to somewhat defend Joy here. That Zatarain’s alfredo is popular here since it’s a local product, and it’s actually pretty good for a quick meal. Those potatoes, like most things in Sam’s freezer, are also a good side dish in a clutch. Granted, I’m a pretty damned good cook according to my family and co-workers and can and do make most things from scratch, but it’s not everyone’s calling. If you know you’re not a good cook, I’d rather to show up at your house and find that pre-packaged alfredo and salad than some monstrosity you tried to make yourself and failed miserably. I’m not so elitist that heat and eat offends me. I just want it to taste good. I don’t care how long it took you to make it, if your food isn’t seasoned well, it’s nasty. If you know you can’t cook, keep it simple. I’m also more concerned about the cleanliness of said house and dinner, so if you need that extra time to tidy up instead, be my guest. 26 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/224/#findComment-7045120

Well, Alyssa has demonstrated a consistent inability to spell even elementary words like "dining" correctly (she constantly made references to her "dinning room" on her Instagram over a period of months until someone finally couldn't take it anymore and corrected her--so, yeah, more advanced words like "midevil" don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of coming even close), as well as a total ignorance of cardinal directions (I swear, she got all four of them wrong during family Pictionary night) . . . so maybe her kids are better off with the iPad teacher. 3 5 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/51212-joy-and-austin-this-one-time-at-family-camp/page/224/#findComment-7045651
