Comments are now verging into "Jinger supports Jeremy." It's awesome.

Are those comments on her Twitter account? I'm not SM savvy so I must have missed them.

The following is predicated on taking the information provided at face value. Ben scrubs toilets for JB, takes Online classes to earn a bachelors in pestering for Jesus, and seems a hands on father. Jeremy has a church plant, and earned a business degree. Austin flips houses and helps at Fort Rock, and will perhaps run it in the future. Derick earned a degree in accounting, wondered around Nepal, lived on Boob's properties, pretended to minister in CA, is now in student housing, finds his innocent child manipulative, attacks a minor Online, and can't keep a job. Damn, Jilly Clingy really got screwed with the whole I want a husband like my dad.

Silly Jilly wanted a tall and godly husband.  Which she has.

Not sure if it's been addressed yet but since Derrick is off the show, will Jill still be featured or will she join him as some sign of solidarity? Personally, I don't think Derrick's pride is going to let him let Jill or their sons remian on the show but who knows??

And what does this mean?  On Derick's GoFundMe page. That's the total as well, so it doesn't seem to include the recent donations.

Derick has no pride when it comes to the money Jill will bring home. Who is going to have the guts to sit down both of them and say, "STOP!" Someone on IG is trying to get #getajobderick trending. We should do our Christian duty and lend a helping hand.

I'm guessing that decision is up to TLC, and I hope they decide Jill needs to join her husband off camera.  They like begging for money, so let them do it full time.

Holey Moley--did you see the ACTUAL POSTED names of some of the Patrons (with token $5 donations):

$5

Doosch Baggs

$5

Yuza Grifter

If I had $50 to flush down the toilet, I would love to donate it using a nasty name for Derek. Then he'd have to make a video for me using the derogatory name.

Different variations of GoFundMe show up on my FB feed here and there. They range from heart breaking to selfishly ridiculous. My old self has not caught up with this trend yet. I remember when my kids were all in school and I hadn't returned to work yet. My mom was over and I was reading this lunch thing my oldest had brought home from school. I laughingly said to my mom that we were one kid short of qualifying for reduced lunch. You should have seen her face! She was like, Absolutely not!

Of course if we had qualified and needed the assistance, I certainly wouldn't have hesitated to take the assistance, but I still carry a little of mom's pride(?) with me.

While Derick is impressed with his new Victim Status, I wonder how Jill is doing?  Her husband got kicked off of TLC. The show that Jill grew up on and her entire family is still on, minus the child molester brother, of course.

Jill = 19 Kids and Counting. We think the Duggars are insane but I'm sure Jill is proud of her family's show and all the "work and ministry" that they did.   Now, her husband literally picks a fight with another TLC star, gets let go and causes yet more negative attention for her.

Is she embarrassed?  Sad?  Proud?

Not a Jill Duggar fan (or any Duggar fan) but this has got to suck for her. Derick is really turning out to be quite a dick husband.

He's raking in more than many of his fellow ministry-program attendees, however. I'm seeing $100 and a bunch of "no donations yet" on the numerous current fofundme accounts for this "project."

So TeeVee fame Ior whatever) is giving him quite a boost, actually.

He's already paid his tuition, which I can understand to include the missioncations he is required to do. Is he trying to figure out a way to take along the family? Wouldn't that detract from whatever he's supposedly trying to do? And if so, where did Jill's TLC $$$ go? Jinger had $90 grand to put down as a down payment on their house. With no expenses other than food and diapers, I don't understand how the Dullards are broke.

Good news is, on Jill's post, even some leghumpers are telling her that this is ridiculous.

They still have it, they just don't want to spend it if they can grift it from the public.

I'm wondering if that weird amount came from a savings bond that Derick or Jill had and cashed in. If he was given a $1000 savings bond at birth it'd likely be worth that amount at his age. Just a guess.

I was thinking something along those lines. That money came from Derick himself.

I'm going to go with $2500 from Kathy, $100 from Dan, and the rest was pilfered from Izzy and Sam's birthday cash.

Someone really needs to get through these two knuckleheads. You have two children FFS! On IG people are referring to an article where someone alleged they sit around all day (not a surprise). Was that the In Touch article or a new one? I'm always behind with these two morons.

Let's all throw in a few cents, attribute the donation to a cleverly crafted inflammatory moniker, just so we can hear him say it! Yeah, I'm being kind of childish.

Let’s go with ‘Jazz-Jennings-is-a-better-human-being-than-I-will-ever-be-and-I-deeply-respect-HER.’ I wonder what it would cost to get him to say that. I’m willing to pay for high quality entertainment now and then.

I'm thinking we donate using the name Satan Himself. It makes me smile to think that he would have to say, "I would like to thank Satan Himself for donating to my phony mission."

No, he never pursued the further education needed to attain CPA. He went to Nepal just a few months after graduation. Not sure what he did with his time in the interim, but I guess he could have done a semester of grad school. I haven't looked at his LinkedIn for quite a while, but I don't recall any post-grad work listed.

Come on, he has WORKED for 20 years of his life! He said so in his Twitter feed a couple weeks ago.

My guess is Jill is proud. Other than the gay guy her parents had dismissed from the filming; she probably hasn't known members of LGBTQ community.  I realize that she is a product of how she is raised and that she has never had a chance to see the outside world for herself.  Jill is usually the most devout of the Duggars, so my guess is she blames TLC and the world not her husband.

Derelict got his mommy to come on Clingy’s IG to defend him from the mean heathens. I know the mama bear reflex very well. But her son is freaking 28, with a wife and children to support. I know chemo screws with the system, but I don’t think it completely depletes a person of common sense.  The Duggars have grown in an echo chamber, Cathy should know better. I thought Derick could not come across as even more pathetic. I was wrong.

I thought of donating and using the name "Chester the molester" so he'd have to say it.

The problem with donating under a fake name is he still gets the money regardless. I don't want him to get anything. I'd rather make a donation to Planned Parenthood or The Trevor Project in his name, so a good cause gets money, and he knows about it. If I could afford it, I'd donate to those causes every time the Duggars wore those stupid 'we're the generation who will end abortion' t-shirts, or spoke out against LGBTQ+ people.

Looks like he did thank Chester the Molester. So much for Derick being mad at Josh for molesting his wife. I could not even utter the name of someone who abused my spouse. This is beyond my comprehension.

I didn't see hers. There were a whole lot of others, so I might have missed it, but since a good 95% of them were negative, even among the humpers, I'm surprised hers didn't stand out more. What did she say? I don't feel like scouring the entire thing again lol.

I could utter their name. I would have a few other choice utterances for them, too. ‘Thank you’ would not be among them. ?

We read a lot of positives into Derick when he first showed up: he'd been to college, he'd traveled, he wasn't Gothard, etc. We also read a lot of positive things into Cathy: she worked, she wore pants, and she seemed like a nice person. She also got a lot of sympathy for having cancer. She appears to be a better mother, and grandmother, than J'chelle -- but that is a VERY LOW bar.

The reality is that Cathy is a religious fanatic, and her son is a religious fanatic. We think that Cathy "must know better" because we have no reason to hate her and, in all fairness, plenty of decent people have awful children. Still, I don't think she should get a free pass. Her son is a bully, he's not a good husband or father, and he feels absolutely entitled to live off of others. He didn't get this way in a vacuum, and I don't really believe that a fundamentally good person could have been completely turned by the Duggars in three years.

I kind of doubt that anybody but a religious fanatic would actually end up married into the Duggars. While some of the adjacents were attracted to them by TeeVee, even in the relatively short "courtships" they did get to know them far better than the TeeVee audience -- which sees primarily just the very whitewashed version -- and if you weren't a religious fanatic yourself, and possibly a little unbalanced in addition, they would probably weird you out pretty quickly.

I suppose that's why Marjorie Jackson ran. And the others stayed. I've read enough things written by Pop Seewald and Pop Vuolo, for example, to see that they're also fanatics. Cathy and Derick hadn't advertised it, so they had us fooled because they looked more normal.

I do think, though, that the fanatic fundie fringe in general has become increasingly fervent and vocal over the past couple of years, far beyond Der's tweets. The "war on transgender," for example, is quite real. And the conservative religious are really feeling their oats these days. So there's encouragement out there in the culture for the noises they're making, and unlike JB and M they haven't almost lost a lucrative TeeVee show for saying this stuff in the past, so they're not going to be cautious about it in the same way.

Absolutely, but it would be so funny to hear him thank Satan or one of the other hilarious suggestions made here. If there is a way for us to pool together so everyone would only have to pay  a couple of dollars to reach the $50, count me in. What a lazy and arrogant POS dick he is.

I'd be up for that as well...it would be hilarious to see how he either ends up having to do it or finds an interpretive dance vigorous enough for that much sidestepping!

Cathy should have addressed why her son with a degree, and a family to support chooses to beg for money from those who have so much less. The pastor at her church is paid for his work, aka a job, he is not begging Online. He also probably has training if not a degree. I could be completely wrong.

Cathy

Replying to @Watwood6pack and @jillmdillard

Members at my church pay the pastor. We also take up special offerings for State, North Amer & Int’l missions. I send support every month to a girl ministering on an Arizona college campus, as well as a couple dozen other ministries. Some give, some go. It’s how missions is done.

I don't get it either, how Dillweed can be in the same room with CTM, never mind marrying into that fucked-up family.  Not that Dillweed is any better.

Arwen, don't apologise. Cathy just took her faith to the nth degree. And she's just fortunate that there were treatments available that weren't when my dad succumbed to the same cancer 10 years ago. He lived Jesus as well, but He didn't save this devout man.

God didn't save Cathy. Modern medicine did. Fuck you, Cathy.

I believe that we all have our 'time' to leave this planet. It just wasn't Cathy's time, so the doctors were successful in their treatment for her. My father, who believed in God, was lost to a difficult and 'hard to watch' 4 year battle with cancer. It was his time. He didn't want to leave at 67 yrs old. Cathy needs to give modern medicine SOME CREDIT for her recovery. If it was 'all God, and ONLY GOD, why did she go through medical treatment? God doesn't NEED doctors to bring forth His will for us. She should know that. I don't like people who disregard medical professionals here on earth who provide the actual treatment. Cathy did go off the deep end with this.

Arwen Evanstar: I pray that you have your prayers for a full, complete and permanent recovery granted to you.  I'm so sorry to read your post. Be well, friend and we'll be reading your posts for a long time to come....
