Part 1 of 3. The Beverly Hills ladies gather for a reunion that includes interesting insight into Erika. Also: Kyle defends Faye Resnick; Yolanda opens up about relationship issues; and Yolanda is pushed too far during a conversation about her health.

Whether or not Lisa Vanderpump encouraged you to say the word or not, you are still a fucking asshole for saying it.  Not to mention weak minded and just weak in general.  Learn how to tell someone no.  Lisa may be manipulative, I don't think there's enough evidence in this situation for me to believe she encouraged you to do shit.

Why do these people talk about Munchhausen as though it's something you can catch?

Lisar. So over her twisting of words and slippery words and pile of words spoken to excuse herself and blame others. Dollars to donuts that if she's back next season, she'll find a way to excuse how she had spoken about LVP.

So Kathryn must have finally read Faye's book because she said something about all the stuff in the book affected her life and marriage and something about her ex'es....member.

Oh snap! It all comes out now, Rinna spilled the beans about the Lyme, Munchhausen, LVP storyline. And Yo has the first walk off. So over this whole subject!

Erika looked like a hooker. Yo's pantyhose and white material dress was not flattering.

I'm liking Kathryn more and more. I understand Kyle's feelings, but really, Faye has looked like such a jerk on camera nearly every time I've seen her except at Kyle's party. I saw her on King's talk show talking about OJ and her book, and she was as nasty as ever - smarting off and just portraying an obnoxious persona. There's really no reason to blame Kathryn's feelings about the book for Faye's bad rap. I honestly can hardly understand how Kyle sees her as a kind, sweet, generous person, since she is not at all shy about challenging and dissing others on camera.  She comes off like a viper, and Kathryn has a right to her feelings.

The question on the table was about why she said what she did about Munchausen's, and she turned it into VDP going, "There's our fucking storyline".  Even if she said it, which sounds super uncouth of LisaV, why would you take that and run?  Unless you thought it too.

Watching the way Kyle treated Kathryn infuriated me. Dismissing everything Kathryn went through while inferring Faye has had it so tough. Kyle, you don't like it when people say the truth about you and your family. Why shouldn't Kathr dislike it when someone lies about hers?

Lisa R. Is a self-centered, weakling who will do anything and everything to be on camera. She talks all tough one on one or in her TH, but when push comes to shove and she is confronted by the person she has talked sh about, she caves like a house of cards. Even tonight she acted, because that's what it was, acting, concerned for Kathryn and Yolanda when in reality she stabbed them in the back during the season. Her going after LVP is pure deflection from her part in the whole Munchhausen debacle.

Yolanda's dress was a fail. Sorry. The nude panels only gave the illusion of her being swaddled in ace bandages. Kyle needs to keep the girls in; they are not attractive. I actually think that Erika was the most attractive. She may be over the top but she owns it, revels in it, and looks good in it. The other ladies need to update their looks and wardrobes into the 21st century.

To this reunion show all I can say for now is 'just wow'.

 

This is insignificant to all that happened in the reunion but when Yolanda mentioned depression it hit me like a thud that she had all the classic signs of depression. Of course, her ruptured implants and Lyme disease of made her feel physically ill, but the host of other symptoms she had like persistent aches and pains, headaches, digestive problems, fatigue, loss of energy, and not having the will to get dressed and fix her hair and makeup. I noticed during that period that her eyes appeared sunken and smaller. I know, no makeup. But despite that, she had the 'look' of a very depressed person. Maybe she and David had problems all along and she felt insecure. Plus the fact that he was always traveling and not home with her. Her kids were gone onto their careers and she was an empty-nester. I don't think people realize how emotionally fragile Yolanda was and it was all attributed to Lyme disease. This is all only my own opinion of course. That's how I saw it tonight. I think she's still struggling with it since her divorce announcement. Maybe she's feeling better because the 'other shoe' has dropped finally and they've decided to part ways.

I'm about to head to bed, but Erika firing back at Mary from wherever was a highlight. I don't care for Erika, but boy was I here for "Oh, Mary, dear. I'm sorry that you've given up on life." Seriously. All this shaming and pearl clutching and falling onto proverbial fainting couches over a woman--a 40-something woman at that...gasp!--being sexual? Get the hell over it.

Kyle was at that BD party dinner as well and never heard LisaV say that and that HH said 'whether or NOT she is sick" means that Rinna was talking about Munchausen to him as well. Trace it all back, all Munchausen roads lead back to 1 person.....Rinna, and she is now trying to throw LisaV under the bus to take that ugly stain off of herself. Oh, and I noticed that Rinna absolved Kyle of all things Munchausen even though she told Kyle first and alluded that it was Kyle that told LisaV all about it in her blog last week. What it boils down to, for me at least, is that Rinna threw the 1 person that Yolanda dislikes the most under the bus to make herself look less guilty. I don't care what anyone said to her, she brought it up and kept bringing it up all on her own.

And a boo to the girls for not saying, "We know you have Lyme. We think the reason why you're sick isn't just the lyme, like when you had the floating silicone in your chest.  You travel the world doing random experimental procedures. Just sit...In America...with one doctor...and let's see how you feel in a few months."

Note that when quoting Harry she said he thought that they should support Yo whether she was sick or not. That shows she and Harry were questioning if Yo was sick at all, which none of the rest of them were implying.

As for the "there goes our storyline" comment, I can totally picture LVP saying that ...as a JOKE. Unfortunately Rinna is too dim to understand sarcasm or a dry wit without a translator.

Part 1 - SNOOZEFEST!!!

 

The fashion - Can this show learn a thing or two from RHOC - keep it simple.  Or if these women are going to  be flashy get them a theme like RHOA did at the S8.  Of course, Andy had to bring up maybe LVP was copying Erika's talking head look.  Yeah, sure, Andy.  Erika apparently had the top of the Tom Ford look where LVP has the whole dress.  Kyle sure dropped off from her last year look where she looked great IMO.  Kyle is still pretty for her age but it really sucks she can't find a look or style that is complementary for her.  Eileen needs to give up the strapless dresses, it makes her look naked.  Kathryn seems like the only one that got it right, she things simple, but still looked good.  Yolanda and Lisa R dresses are kind of like last year so I wasn't that impressed.

 

Ok as for the reunion the bulk of this was dedicated to Erika, Lemonlymes lies disease and some Kathryn.

 

Kyle vs Kathryn was boring but yet I felt Kyle was being quite defensive of Faye without making sense.  She claims Faye didn't sign up for the show but yet she finds her way back in front of cameras almost every season.  Hmm, ok, Kyle if you say so.  What stood out to me was Yolanda's side convo with Erika, "I wish Kyle could had been stronger for me (like she is with Faye)."  I wanted to smack her.  She always finds a way to make everything about when it isn't.

 

As for Lemonlymes, I'm glad someone had the balls to ask Yolanda about her physical activity and how much of liar she is about how she hadn't walked in 8-10 months.  She has been exaggerating and lying about her physical abilities all season.  But no lie Lisa R got me when Andy transitioned to the Lymes convo to why everyone was questioning Yolanda's health as it pertains to her Instagram.  Lisa R claims, "Yolanda's IG isn't inspiring"  I liked to died.  Lisa was trying to be shady and I don't think Yolanda caught it at all.

 

As for Lisa R talk about a woman who can't hold a consistent story!  She has told 90 something stories about the Munchies tale, where clearly all her frustration is coming from, no one backed her up when she decided to start drama about the Lies Disease all on her own.  Not only does she decide to throw her hairdresser under the bus but her precious Harry Hamlin too.  She claims Harry told her that she and the other ladies should be more supportive of Yolanda instead of questioning.  Apparently on twitter someone claims Harry never said such things to Lisa R.  Then when all else failed, she pulls out her little receipts that Lisa V called her a bunch times.  Again, Lisa R is losing this for me.  If she had any horsesense she should had pulled a Tamra from OC and recorded her convos with Lisa V and held onto it.  Lisa V calling her 10 times doesn't tell me anything but Lisa V simply called her a bunch of times and those convos could had been about anything!  There is no voicemails I bet.  Yet this is good enough for Yolanda.  She starts "crying" and does a dramatic walk off.  

 

Again first part 1 was boring but it speaks for how much Andy and the boys tried making this season exciting.  Next week I hope it gets better.

I have liked Erika for the most part. She has not been as toxic as some of them but she has had her moments. There is something about the way she stands in her own space. She kind of owns most of it. She doesn't freaking WHINE like some of them. I hope she is back next season. She challenges some of them and they are not used to that.

I think she meant pellet not palette. That's a slow-release capsule that contains what she described as a naturopathic remedy to ease symptoms of menopause. A natural hormone supplement that is released slowly over time.

Erika seems to be done with this show. She did not write the last two episode blogs, she won't answer a direct question. She is there to body guard Yolanda. I think that Tom is also always in the forefront of her mind. She does respect him and wants to protect his reputation too. I am not sure she would return if Yolanda is not back. I don't dislike her. I actually think she is pretty direct and honest. But sees everything as how it effects Yolanda. Probably a very good friend and not so good real housewife.

Erika looks gorgeous. Better than she did during the season even. Her jawline looks so sharp and lovely.

Kyle manages to lose every bit of goodwill I have towards her when she starts bleating on about Faye. It's cool if Faye is a reprehensible she-beast to everyone else in the world as long as she's nice to YOU and your family, Kyle? Seriously stfu.

Yo is a continual victim and a boring one but her haircut looks fab.

Ohhh.  Pellet makes sense.  These are popular with my neighbors. And they swear by them.  Only they don't get theirs implanted in their butts.  Arms and bellies.  When Yo said palette in her butt, all I could think of was like a tiny eye shadow palette, but instead of the pans filled with eyeshadow, they were filled with time-released estrogen, testosterone and progesterone.  And then slipped up the bum, suppository-like. LOL.  Time for bed.

There’s something else I must address. Neither Lisa R. nor I have anything to gain by calling out Lisa V. It’s not like we get a bonus check from Bravo or a new BMW with a bow around it. No one throws us a pizza party. Nobody hands us a bunch of balloons. In fact, it makes our lives harder. Our honesty has made us targets for the hate and vitriol unleashed by Lisa V., her husband and her die-hard followers. So, I ask you all, with nothing to gain, and possibly our future on the show to lose, why would we do it?

Conversely, Lisa V. has denied any involvement with anything over and over again. She continues to refuse to admit the truth, despite it being made very clear in Dubai that she HAD tried to drum up drama by pitting Kyle and Lisa R. against each other. She said when we had dinner at Malibu Cafe that she never called Lisa R., but Lisa R. has the phone records to prove otherwise. Lisa V. called her many times to influence Lisa R.'s position. Yet she refuses to admit to any wrongdoing and refuses to stop vilifying the people who are merely pointing out things about her that she doesn’t want to admit.

So, why would Lisa Rinna and I lie about this? The answer is: WE WOULDN’T.

I thought Andy's questions about the reasons for the divorce went too far.  Did he really think Yo would be specific about what happened?  Asking if she blamed her illness -- that's the only thing he needed to ask. It reflects poorly on Foster, and I'm surprised the other women didn't say something.   Maybe they're still friendly with him.

Respected Erika for giving credit to reggae/dancehall for the pat the puss move. So much cultural appropriation without credit that it was nice to see that acknowledge, especially given that that culture isn't too familiar to many in the mainstream.

 

Eileen looked like she aged 10 years between the start of the season and the reunion.

 

I will always see it as a flaw in Kyle's character that she road dogs for oxygen thief Faye Resnick.  There will never be a time that I don't hate Faye and want to punch her in her Sleestak face.

She was full of life and piss and vinegar from the minute she started on this show, until the middle of last season.

I appreciated the Faye discussion only because it reminded me of how great People vs. OJ was, and how great Connie Britton was in particular. I almost expected somebody to assure Kathryn that really, nobody takes anything coked-up famewhore Faye said in that book. I felt like Kathryn was maybe exaggerating just how much she was thrust into the spotlight by Faye--but regardless, it really is ridiculous for Kyle to even suggest that her experience of Faye should be the one people see on the show. Faye pretty embraced exactly the kind of stuff Kathryn was talking about back in 94. If I were in Kathryn's position I wouldn't keep my mouth shut either. You don't write about somebody that way in a book and then expect them to treat you as anything other than...the person who wrote that stuff about them in a book.

 

That said, Yolanda was so pathetic jumping in to say Kyle should have been defending her that way. Especially since the whole thing kind of pointed out the obvious: if Yolanda was a better friend to Kyle she probably would be defending her in her stubborn pit bull fashion!
