Count me as #9.  I'm sure those of us who have RA recognized the list of drugs the doctor rambled off incl the one (forgot name) that is or was a chemo drug.  I don't doubt for a minute that GG has RA, she is just an overly dramatic person making things worse than they really are. Having a 2 hour infusion treatment is nothing, at least is was for me.  When I had them, I scheduled them after work, had treatment & went on about my day as normal.  It was no big deal.I think for some reason she just doesn't pay attention or confuses the info that the doctor gives her. Instead of going out drinking, she would be better off finding out more about the disease.

My neighbor has RA and has chemo treatments. I think she takes a pill, though.

I forgot it was on, and then when I caught the later showing I fell asleep. Usually I'll rewatch on the Bravo app when that happens, but I don't really feel like it this time. I wish they would quit harping at GG.  She is coping with it the way she does everything.  Alcohol.  She's not ready to quit and all the nagging and intervening isn't going to make a difference.  Even though she creeps me out with all the knives (that she gave names) she's still their friend and in pain. 

If Reza was all up in my  business like he is in his friends I would pop him in his big nosey nose!  I wish he would get is own life and quit meddling. 
I was disappointed  with Shervin this epi.  He knows what GG is going through yet takes Reza's side.  Not oool.

I had it with MJ when she started the thing with her "tinder man".  IMO Both losers.

Mike is a jerk and a cheater and a liar but it's his business.  Everybody else needs to stay out of ot
That leaves me with Asa.  She is a "lets make nice, and sweep everything under the rug" type.  She is always up, always happy friend you have.  She is the buddy you have that you will probably choke before you have had your coffee.  But I love her caftans!

I think what happened is GG  heard chemo and ran. The doctor said she hadn't been in in several months (something you cannot do with chronic illness) so she's probably been in progressively worse pain and thats what the drinking is about. Hopefully she'll continue seeing her doctor and they can get her on the right meds. In the mean time her "friends" need to STFU.

I agree with this; I think the problem is in real life, you can cut off someone who's abusing alcohol, especially if you feel you'll get in trouble hanging out with them.  But GG's on this show with them; they have no choice but to film with her.  I feel for GG, but I wouldn't want to hang out with a drunk either.

I'm a loyal viewer and watch every week. I also tend to comment on each show. Just haven't yet decided whether to comment and what to say about this episode. But since I'm here…..I agree with some of what's been said, but of course, not all of it.

I could ask WHY are certain people (Reza and MJ) in everyone else's business….well, because it's a reality TV show and -- either it's how they really are butt-in-skees…OR they're doing it for a story line. I think even someone who cares about Mike, would have by now STOPPED getting involved in his issue with Jessica. So why are Reza an MJ STILL butting in?

GG is a mess. Because she's been such a snasty person personality wise. I really don't care whether she has RA or not.

And I still love Shervin. Because I do think he cares about her. Where as MJ's and Reza's meddling seems contrived.

I'd love to feel the quality of Asa's caftans.  Not all are created equal. Are her's like the ones seen on Housewives of BH, or like the cheap ones I can get at Foreman Mills, Gabe's (east coast stores), or Walmart.

Methotrexate is used as both a chemo drug & an immunosuppressant  (for RA).  I've only taken it in pill form (once a week) but had to stop because of side effects. I'm sure when GG's doctor was explaining things about the various drugs (on a prior visit),  the word "chemo" came up & this is all she heard & remembered.  In her mind, she will have "chemo" treatments when really she is just taking or using  a drug(s)  for her RA that can be used for cancer.  GG even questioned if the drugs the doctor  listed were all "chemo" drugs & he said only one was, Rituxan, which is used in combo with Methotrexate for RA.  It  sounded like he wasn't going with that one because he said he wasn't going to discuss side effects of something he wasn't going to use.  I'm sure his recommendation of what drug to use will be partly based on her blood results. The way it sounds like to me  is for the past 5 years her RA has been controlled with something "simple" along the lines of Naprosyn or Motrin.  It's probably gotten worse so the next course of action would be trying one the  DMARD type of drugs, which the doctor was naming. (DMARD =  Disease Modifying AntiRheumatic Drugs)  These are the top guns of the RA meds, they do the job but have serious side affects, unfortunately. Of course, all this just my opinion.  

I think Reza said Adam couldn't go on the trip cuz of work.  I guess he just can't drop his work responsibilities & go on a vacation at the drop of a hat like the rest of the "crew".

I'm not normally a GG fan (the drama needs to be taken down a notch) but I really feel for her. Her symptoms, treatment, and how she's handling them are no one else's business. Let those doofuses walk a mile in her shoes before they judge her.

At the levels used for RA, methotrexate works as an immune suppressant, like someone said.  I take it 6 times a week, I started out at a much lower dose but as my RA progresses, so do my meds.

I have lovely methotrexate Monday.  Weee. I have been off it because of multiple colds and infections but it's a bitch.  There is a little bit of "no I don't wanna take this stupid med every Monday!!!" going on too, so i can see GG's perspective, but I need to start again.  It does infuriate me that she's saying chemo and getting her family all freaked out.  Yeah it's her thang but I think it really gives RA sufferers a bad name.  

Reza really is a nasty shit stirring asshole.  He just LOVES throwing a touch of dirt and then sitting back and giggling. 

I must admit, I'd love a night out with Asa.

I am sooooo not a prude, but I despise a red solo cup.  They make clear ones (my preference) and colored ones, red ones just bug the shit out of me.

For $7.95, I have enough red solo cups in my house to last through a zombie apocalypse and a zombie apocalypse after party. Because I, like Christine Baskets, shop at Costco and Costco only sells things in Duggar like proportions. Shervin probably shops there too which is why he had enough Cheetos on hand to fill a bathtub.

I watch this show too..just haven't posted till now.

Jessica/Mike - I still believe Jessica married him to get access to her trust fund early. Once she knew the money would be cleared, she dropped the asshole. But I also believe she lives beyond her means (family handouts) so whatever money she got by doing Shahs was spending money for her. I also think she and Mike had already signed a contract for this season and to avoid being sued they both agreed to film and each have their own storyline/agenda to bring to film. She wants him to admit he cheated on film. He wants to film they have a strong marriage. He will never admit he cheated. I don't get Jessica cause he cheated while they dated, he cheated while they were engaged, he cheated after they got married. So why is this cheat incident so different?

Reza - this show has made his head bigger. He has deluded himself into believing that still comes across as a wonderful caring friend as opposed to he will do whatever the producer suggests. As long as he is a shit stirrer, people are concentrating on other cast members issues and not bringing to light to things they want kept in the dark.

GG - she has been the target for several seasons because it is easy. She has a short fuse, she's a messy drunk, and she'll jump even if she is sober. I do think she has RA, but I also think she uses her RA to excuse her excessive bad behavior (with the drinking and trash talking) I'm in pain with my RA so I have to drink to dull the pain. I lash out at people, not because I'm psychotic, but because I'm in so much pain. However MJ, Reza, Mike are all nasty drunks too.

Shervin - when they were discussing where to go...he asks GG can you just chill and have a drink. This is the same man saying that he has enabled her and she drinks too much - you seriously told her to have a drink

I can understand Adam not being able to get away for the Belize trip. My question is why wasn't he at Asa's fashion show?

Asa - has no right in calling anyone for not being authentic on this show. I understand her man won't film - but she doesn't even mention him and nor do any of the other cast members.

MJ - was she even really calling Tommy from Belize? I thought the dude packed up in the middle of the night and booked.

I also think Shervin is a closet case, but he can do a lot better than Reza given his looks and personality (well, until the ugly side reared its head recently).

Yes, the red cups seem to be big with Kandi (RHOA) too, for all their money they could go to Target and buy some inexpensive barware, it makes a nicer presentation, even the acrylic wine glasses look good if they are worried about pool side drinking and breakage.

Who appointed Reza as the resident Dr. Phil?  Seems like last season everyone hated Jessica, they were such bullies toward her. I guess this is a great way to get a story line, piss off your friend you just got back in good graces by demanding he confess (with camera's rolling) that he has cheated on his wife.

My impression of Belize is that is a scuba diving destination and not much else goes on there.  I wonder if they will tour the island or at least go to a restaurant, anything to get out of their hotel.  Aruba would have been a good choice, it is so beautiful and lots of great restaurants and bars. JMO

I think the red solo cups are very prevalent on reality TV for two reasons. The first is that if kids are underage, you can't tell what's in them. I think it was one of the Laguna Beach/Hills iterations that alluded to this. Secondly, I think they are encouraged to drink out of them to avoid having to show (or blur) labels on beer/wine bottles, etc.

In the words of Betty Draper, "My people are Nordic", and how these people interact is as foreign to me as watching how the gorillas in the mist interact.  Are people really this mean to their friends/"family"?  This intrusive and nosy?  I feel like either you can serve the tough love, or you can badger the shit out of someone, but badgering someone with tough love, like they are doing with GG and Mike, is obnoxious and unhelpful and no way to be a friend.

I'm not sure about the timing of everything. I couldn't follow it during the show. Were the text messages old messages prior to their wedding that he just kept or were they new from after the wedding or a combination of both? It's all a mess. Bottom line: before, during and/or after Mike is a cheater and that is never going to change. I think the next we will hear from him is that he is a "sex addict" and just can't help himself. I would feel sorry for Jessica EXCEPT she had plenty of warnings before she married him. When the man's best friends tell you he's a horn dog and unlikely to ever change, believe them. They both went into this marriage for reasons other than building a long, happy life together, I believe. Mike has something to prove that he thought marriage would prove and Jessica wanted a wedding and to be a Mrs.
