While I agree with the coworker thing, Erika’s workplace is a trashy reality show not an office so I’m not sure it applies directly. Did she call the women cunts or just use it in general? I can’t remember. Was she Gretchen Weiners trying to make cunt happen like when you call people bitch in an “endearing” way? What do the other women wear under their short tight dresses? Going commando is common and I’d say with those dresses nearly necesssary. Still, one needs to be aware of what’s going on down there if you’re commando unless you’ve brought a snatch blocker like RHONY. Who was it that had to keep playing that role for Sonja that one weekend get away? i just don’t think its a big enough deal for some forgotten HW to be tweeting about. Like another poster said she’s at least a year late. Also, is the poster who is writing essays defending mystery HW Kathryn an irl friend of hers? It’s just a lot of passion for such an unknown entity. Well she got called cunt as an insult. The stupid adding onto it. She was also there with a new bf so I’m sure that made it even more embarrassing/awkward. Even if Erika is a fan of the word I imagine she wouldn’t agree with Doridiots usage of it in this instance. She was just gunning for Camille for no reason. Erika has used "cunt" as an explicit insult. "Fucking" added onto it at least once. And doubled down on that usage. 6 Link to comment

I feel her slipping from my mind already. I don’t like Erika snarling at Teddi in the upcoming ep. It’s like she doesn’t want to be a part of the fight so at first she hemmed and hawed until admitting her feelings to Teddi, then when she’s back with the group it’s “maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.” Yeah, bitch, that’s pretend amnesia! Erika Girardi on Painful Past — and Realizing She Was in a 'Wealthy Coma' After Marriage From the outside, Erika Girardi looks to have a picture perfect life. Outspoken and confident, Girardi, whose alter ego Erika Jayne epitomizes glamour, became a fan favorite on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she joined the cast in 2015. But Girardi’s past is far from flawless and she’s opening up about her hardships in her new book, Pretty Mess. Watch the full episode of People Features: Erika Girardi — I Like to Break the Rules, streaming now on PeopleTV.com, or download the PeopleTV app on your favorite device. “I’ve worked very hard for everything I’ve ever had,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue. “But it’s my journey. And I don’t regret anything.” Girardi, 46, was just 9 months old when her father left; she was raised by a young single mother, Renee, whose parenting style at times left something to be desired. “She was under a lot of pressure,” says Girardi of her “critical” mother. “So it was definitely hard at times. There wasn’t a lot of time to be coddled. So I had to grow up quickly.” At 18, “my mother told me to pay rent or get out,” says Girardi, who moved to New York City to pursue her love of performing. She began working as a Go-Go dancer where she realized her sometimes gritty upbringing came in handy in the real world. “It taught me to be self-reliant,” she says. “It also taught me to be incredibly resilient, to bounce back and assess situations quickly. I trust my gut a lot.” Girardi was 20 years old when she gave birth to a son, Thomas, now 25, but split from Thomas’ father after a brief marriage. Determined to make it in Hollywood, Girardi decided to move to Los Angeles, leaving Thomas in N.Y.C. with his father. “It was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken,” says Girardi, who admits that temporarily leaving her son, “weighed heavy on my heart.” Says Girardi: “I was panicked, but I was committed to succeeding. And I knew he’d end up here with me eventually.” The reality star was working as a cocktail waitress at the restaurant Chasen’s (and auditioning for acting roles) when she met her future husband, famed attorney Tom Girardi. After they wed, Girardi says she settled into Tom’s professional world, and though she was happy, she began to lose sight of herself. “I was living Tom’s life,” says Girardi. “There are only so many material things you can have before it becomes boring. There are only so many dinners, so many things you can buy. I was complacent. I was in a wealthy coma and I wasn’t looking inward.” And so Girardi, who had loved performing since she was five years old, decided to give the stage another shot. “I wanted to create again,” says Girardi, whose alter ego Erika Jayne would eventually top the dance music charts with hits like “Painkllr” and “Get It Tonight.” Says Girardi, “I had to be brave enough to say, ‘I’m not fulfilled.’ ” The singer and reality star admits that starting a music career at 35 did raise some eyebrows. “People told me I was insane,” says Girardi. “Erika Jayne was born out of rebellion. I like to break the rules.” Now, Girardi says she’s grateful she took chances, both with the show and with her career — and says she’s not slowing down anytime soon. “I’m a big dreamer,” she says. “And I have a lot more things to do!” http://people.com/tv/rhobh-erika-girardi-painful-past-wealthy-coma/ Edited March 15, 2018 by zoeysmom 1 Link to comment
MatildaMoody March 15, 2018 Share March 15, 2018 Is it wrong that I am enjoying Erika's backlash? I generally hate social media backlash against a reality show participant (because the anger tends to be disproportionate to the actual offense), but seeing so many people say things like "I love you, but that was a bad look." or "The mean girl really came out. rethinking buying your book." makes me happy. I guess because the backlash hasn't really been that vitriolic and more of the "I can't believe I used to love you" variety, makes it seem less mean and more about Karma to me. Anyway, I am enjoying people finally seeing past the costumes and shark eyes to see that there is nothing fabulous or even fun about her. She's yet another housewife who believes her own hype and is now seeing she aint all that. 22 Link to comment

Chit Chat March 15, 2018 Share March 15, 2018 From Erika's People magazine interview: Quote “I probably have too many shoes and most of them are Christian Louboutin and they are as high as possible,” she says, calling her shoe-shopping habit her one “weakness.” “The feminine form is just sexier in the highest heel possible,” she claims. “Flats are for quitters, at least in my book, so pumps only.” Attitude much? breezy424 March 16, 2018 Share March 16, 2018 Yikes, she actually said that flats are for quitters? Well, we know she doesn't know anything about chasing a child around. And wobbling around because the heel is just too high to handle (see LVP). That's not sexy. She also doesn't know much about 'sexy'. Maybe that's because she doesn't have any resource other than her looks....like being smart, funny, athletic, making it on your own, empathetic, and being a 'real woman', not a trophy. She's pretty pathetic. And she thinks wearing a c word with a y necklace is empowering. The truth that Erika doesn't want to deal with is that she is very sensitive and insecure. I agree that Dorit was wrong with pantygate. But...why would a 'strong' woman be all hurt? Why would a strong women be all hurt because something was said about her leaving without saying goodby or informing her host beforehand weird? Because she's insecure and it shows. 21 Link to comment
