I have zero sympathy for Bethenny. A millionaire has no right to cry about being "homeless". That is her own fault. She could have easily rented an apartment. And then of course Sonja mentioning her tooth keeps falling out while she pretends to give her interns tasks.

When Dorinda held up that photo of her with her man, I swear I thought it was Joe Guidice. I thought that's why the daughter was all "ew gross." And John, the slim fit shirt is not your friend, Hun. The dry cleaners is the hottest spot on earth, but if it weren't for the big wet pit stains, you couldn't tell, judging by those nips piercing through that shirt.

Did Sexy J Sonja get a new dog? I know Millieu died and she got a new one, but I thought that dog was white. There was a little brown dog she had tonight that was a dead ringer for Rowlf the Dog.

And yay for Kristin's daughter not only walking, but running. She's so tall.

I used to really like Bethenny, and a part of me still wants to, but...she makes it so difficult. I was really annoyed when she asked the bellhop for fucking olives and walked away self importantly, saying "when you're done with that." Who does that?! Since she lives in hotels now, she should know to call room service for a request like that.

And why does she have two personal assistants? That's so ridiculous and over the top.I work with extremely busy and successful bankers with loads of money, and they don't need that.

Bethenny is not homeless. Rent an apt. She has the money, it's not that deep. It's offensive that she refers to herself as homeless when there are people that sleep on the cold ground every night.

Sonja is her usual deluded self.

I'm still fuming over the BH reunion, so it was hard for me to pay attention this episode. Initial thoughts:

 

Eight (?) HoWives are too many. We didn't need Dorinda.

 

Sonya is so much the same (or apparently worse, according to the ladies), that I honestly thought some of the new footage was flashbacks (the tooth, the facialist, the dog).

 

I'm having a REALLY hard time sympathizing with Bethenny. She has so much money that she never has to work another day in her life, but it's just one big pity party that she can't find an apartment up to her standards.

 

The only part I liked was the between-commercials piece with her droning on and on to her bored assistants who were on their computers ignoring her. That must be one strange thing about being a wealthy celebrity - the only people around you are people who are being PAID to tolerate you.

 

Divorce sucks - no two ways about it - but I feel moreso for Ramona in this situation.

Bethenny is rentering the scene and doesnt have a house so of course that is going to be part of her storyline. It is what is happening in her life at the moment , same with Ramona, her divorce is what is happening to her so she obviously is going to talk about it the whole season and I am okay with it.

The scene in the limo between Bethenny and Frederick was sweet, he was not his usual snarky self , the scene between Ramona and Dorinda had me in tears.

I am liking Dorinda so far and I feel so much for Ramona and that POS Mario trying to make it her fault that he cheated, he is a jerk.

Sonja, what can I say? Delusional doesn't even begin to cover it.

Carole? If you don't want to write a book then don't but don't commit to write one and then bail out, it really doesn't portray her in a good light.

I noticed LuAnn did not play along when Bethenny presented her with her skinnygirl drinks, and requested, "tell me what you think of this?" Lol. Maybe they edited it out, but at no time did LuAnn exclaim, "Hmmm delicious!" And in fact, the way she closed her lips after her sips told me she felt the opposite! Funny.

I also noticed in that scene with Lu Ann that Bethenny was "acting," in the sense of active listening and pretending to be interested in Lu Ann's replies to her questions. B wasn't authentic in that scene at all, IMO.

Fredrik?! Confiding in Fredrik?! Falling apart with Fredrik?! Just no. Now, she wants a second child? When she's homeless! (Did you know she's HOMELESS?!) So ridiculous.

Dorinda is rough looking for a socialite, Ramona is still a phony and Sonja is just nuts. Her entourage watching her as she got her golden facial (! Holy double entendre!) were so pathetic. I felt sorry for them.

9:00 PM - NY City Essex House...we see B is heeeere the wealthiest homeless person!   New book what else is new. Running an international company out of a hotel room...what's wrong with that B?

9:08 PM - Restaurant new diet of---cucumbers, vodka and butter...really Carole?  Luann has a new Southampton house  and new start.  Everyone is invited to Luann's new house. They all appear to be surprised Sonja is coming. Heather, Luann, Kristen and Carole are there. Not sure if I left anyone out?

 

B's doing a cocktail party...poor thing lives a double life so she has time to be a mom.  Luann drops by to visit B...looks like a great view of Central park.  Luann explains her breakup...LOVE ISN'T ENOUGH!  B seems sad to hear that truth from Luann.

 

Poor B is in a crappy position with Jason.  Hahaha B tells Luann after a certain age if you get too thin your face looks haggard. They both agree their faces are too thin.

 

Ramona/Sonja back to the same old quick talking bull shit. Ramona says she's not going to automatically get involved in backing up anyone in their fights anymore.  Sonja seems surprised!!!  Let's see what happens with that when they get to Southampton.  Wonder what happened to Ramona's mini mansion in Southampton?

 

Carole meeting with her book publisher...TV folks have asked her to write the pilot for the TV show of her last book.  Where's her 80,000 words for her next book...NOT written? Deadline is a legal contract she missed. Now Carole is in a panic.  She doesn't want to isolate herself to write...poor thing has been having a good time instead of writing!  

 

Ramona meets the new cast member , Dorinda for lunch and has a good cry about Mario cheating on her. F'n Mario blames her for his straying due to the way she treated him.  Mario said he didn't like his life.  Ramona complains about Sonja being a cold fish and a narcissist instead of comforting her regarding the demise of her marriage. She thanks Dorinda for comforting her and gives her a big hug. 

 

9:35 PM - Wonder if Ramona is going to replace Sonja with Dorinda?!?!  Somehow I envision fireworks on the way between Ramonja. First impression...I like Dorinda.

 

B is immune to anything negative about her...even if someone writes she had sex with a pig, which she admits to having had many times.  (rofl)  :D

B is with the Million Dollar Real Estate guy, Frederick looking for an apartment.  Ohhh she likes a man to have a bubble butt.  B is crying...poor little rich girl she wants to have one more baby, but doesn't have stability in her life for the one she already has.  Oh well all the money in the world won't help.  Though as I remember it takes 9 months to give birth so she does have time to make a home and can always hire a nanny and maids to take care of her kids & apartment.  She can even construct a separate office for herself.  She laments that a man who she wouldn't even talk to on the street (Jason) lives in the apartment she worked so hard to buy, while she's been living in corporate apartments for 2 years.  It does sound bad when she puts it that way. Though it was a mutual decision to marry and start a family.

 

I agree with the poster above...where was Heather?  If Luann is a "friend of the Hws" she sure had more time than I would expect.

 

Pretty good first episode.  :)

OK, so what is with Carole?  She actually wants to portray herself to a national audience as a total airhead?  Mmmm, OK, she showed us she now has absolutely zero work ethic.  Very commendable, Carole.  So she "enjoys" her life -- like Kells always used to tell us she did?  Ah, that Kelly is a great role model for ya, Carole.  And we see from the previews she now goes after college age guys like Sonja.  OK then.  Even her sense of humor totally sucks now.  Feh.

 

Moaner should be seeing a therapist.  If she's depending on this crowd for help -- er, forget it!

 

Couldn't care less about Kristen & Dickhead.  Looks like Dickhead has lost more hair & is dyeing whatever he's got left.  He looks like shit.  Hopefully we won't be seeing much of him.  Was Heather MIA?  Eh, whatevs.  Not sure what can be done with Lu.  She has zero story.  Her kids were never any factor in her life & they probably aren't now either.  So what else for her?  Going after young guys?  Guess that's gonna be the running theme this season for the single gals?  Yawn.

I can't help but like LuAnn these past two years and I have not been a Lu fan.  I always had the feeling that she ditched her kids at every opportunity for her social life.  I remember her son asking her to stay home at night and how the kids were so upset when the nanny was let go.  But Lu has been amusing and a voice of reason which is saying something on these RH shows.  I love the clip of her telling someone to be cool and I NEED the exact wording.  It just makes me laugh.

 

I appreciate what a rough time Ramona is going through but when I heard her saying that Mario was blaming her, was it so wrong of me to yell at the TV "Because You are Nuts Ramona!"  I am caught in the middle here - he cheated which is wrong but he also spent 25 years with Ramona which has to count for something.

I could not feel the tiniest bit of pity for Bethenney and her apartment woes...try being a single mother and really having no where to go.  The Essex house put you up in the Presidential suite, so go to the Hampton's then come back to the city and the Essex House you idiot!

 

Did Ramona get her lips done?  We all know what her story will be this season, divorce and being the long suffering mother.

I enjoyed this first installment.  Bethenny gets no sympathy from me, but I'm sure she'll be bringing lots of drama.  Love Luann and the fact that she gave up the Countess crap and seems to be enjoying getting her freak on.  Hoping that Ramona doesn't spend the whole season crying; instead moves on and brings us some Turtle Time. For some reason, I enjoy watching Carole....can't explain it, just do.  Sonja's delusion is another entertaining thing for me, so I'll continue rolling my eyes at her.  I don't have an opinion on Dorinda yet, but don't care for her daughter and couldn't stop staring at the zit or whatever it was on her forehead.  Heather is O.K. and Kristin can leave any time.

Interesting that we didn't see the only one on here who actually works -- Heather.  The others seem to live such boring wasteful lives.  Maybe I am a bit curious what Bethenny's work life is like -- if it's just her ordering around her assistants like slaves, as she did on her show.  Does anyone know if Moaner works?  I remember she said she had an office, but I didn't get the impression she works any sort of regular hours -- or at all.  Carole's attitude toward work seemed very, very strange.

Are you familiar with Manhattan real estate?  It's extremely nutty.  I don't know much about Dorinda yet.  My first impression of her place was that it looked smallish, but I don't know the exact size.  If it's a 2 bedroom in a good part of the Upper East Side, in a nice high-rise building, on a high floor with a good view, we're talking $2 to 3 mil or more.  So don't let the size of her place fool you about its worth.  Also, she's decorated it beautifully & expensively.  And she has a housekeeper -- not an intern.  She does seem like she's got some dough.

The reason I'm so puzzled by Carole's attitude toward work is that last season she said Veevs was "nothing" because she never held a job.  I didn't care for her saying that then.  Now she's acting like such a ditz to her editor, who is in effect her boss, with the publishing company she's in need of being reminded she has a contact with.  I'm still baffled by that scene.  She looked kinda out of it -- like she was drunk or stoned.  Um, WTF is going on with her?  She don't seem right. 

 

Oh no, don't kill me, but I'm really enjoying the Moaner on WWHL.  Much more than on the show.  I luv that most peeps don't believe Moaner has changed.  What do ya bet B has been waiting to get back at her since that horrible scene on the bridge?  Ah, don't disappoint me, B -- go get her!

Bethenny is not homeless. Rent an apt. She has the money, it's not that deep. It's offensive that she refers to herself as homeless when there are people that sleep on the cold ground every night.

Sonja is her usual deluded self.

Well, at least Bethenny pays her assistants (hopefully), unlike Sonja, who thinks that getting college credits (yeah, right...) and life experience is salary enough for her interns.

Question for the New Yorkers on here: Lu traded Southampton for Sag Harbor. In terms of location ( not property size) among those fa-a-abulous crowds, did she upgrade, downgrade or break even ?

 

 

OK, first off, Lu's house was in Bridgehampton.  Big difference from Southampton, where the most expensive real estate (along with East Hampton) is located.  Bridgehampton homes are mostly located inland & not so close to the beach.  Sag Harbor, while quite nice, is not located on the Atlantic Ocean, as are East Hampton & Southampton & a tiny portion of Bridgehampton.  Sag Harbor is located north, around the harbor.  As far as Lu's location change, I'd say she broke even.

Looks like Bethanny joined the show to do "woe is me" propaganda and turn us all against her husband. She really is exhausting -- and dramatic. I wonder how much of it is real?

 

I think it's all real.  She was the very first housewife that I loved to hate.  Precisely because she's exhausting and dramatic and her rat-a-tat voice drives me crazy.  When she was doing her talk show, she hired someone to help her learn to modulate.  Just one more person who obviously failed her.  I think she's worse now than she was in her first season of RHONY.

9:00 PM - NY City Essex House...we see B is heeeere the wealthiest homeless person!   New book what else is new. Running an international company out of a hotel room...what's wrong with that B?

9:08 PM - Restaurant new diet of---cucumbers, vodka and butter...really Carole?  Luann has a new Southampton house  and new start.  Everyone is invited to Luann's new house. They all appear to be surprised Sonja is coming. Heather, Luann, Kristen and Carole are there. Not sure if I left anyone out?

 

B's doing a cocktail party...poor thing lives a double life so she has time to be a mom.  Luann drops by to visit B...looks like a great view of Central park.  Luann explains her breakup...LOVE ISN'T ENOUGH!  B seems sad to hear that truth from Luann.

 

Poor B is in a crappy position with Jason.  Hahaha B tells Luann after a certain age if you get too thin your face looks haggard. They both agree their faces are too thin.

 

Ramona/Sonja back to the same old quick talking bull shit. Ramona says she's not going to automatically get involved in backing up anyone in their fights anymore.  Sonja seems surprised!!!  Let's see what happens with that when they get to Southampton.  Wonder what happened to Ramona's mini mansion in Southampton?

 

Carole meeting with her book publisher...TV folks have asked her to write the pilot for the TV show of her last book.  Where's her 80,000 words for her next book...NOT written? Deadline is a legal contract she missed. Now Carole is in a panic.  She doesn't want to isolate herself to write...poor thing has been having a good time instead of writing!  

 

Ramona meets the new cast member , Dorinda for lunch and has a good cry about Mario cheating on her. F'n Mario blames her for his straying due to the way she treated him.  Mario said he didn't like his life.  Ramona complains about Sonja being a cold fish and a narcissist instead of comforting her regarding the demise of her marriage. She thanks Dorinda for comforting her and gives her a big hug. 

 

9:35 PM - Wonder if Ramona is going to replace Sonja with Dorinda?!?!  Somehow I envision fireworks on the way between Ramonja. First impression...I like Dorinda.

 

B is immune to anything negative about her...even if someone writes she had sex with a pig, which she admits to having had many times.  (rofl)  :D

 

Dorinda's boyfriend...the dry cleaner, funny!

 

B is with the Million Dollar Real Estate guy, Frederick looking for an apartment.  Ohhh she likes a man to have a bubble butt.  B is crying...poor little rich girl she wants to have one more baby, but doesn't have stability in her life for the one she already has.  Oh well all the money in the world won't help.  Though as I remember it takes 9 months to give birth so she does have time to make a home and can always hire a nanny and maids to take care of her kids & apartment.  She can even construct a separate office for herself.  She laments that a man who she wouldn't even talk to on the street (Jason) lives in the apartment she worked so hard to buy, while she's been living in corporate apartments for 2 years.  It does sound bad when she puts it that way. Though it was a mutual decision to marry and start a family.

 

I agree with the poster above...where was Heather?  If Luann is a "friend of the Hws" she sure had more time than I would expect.

 

Pretty good first episode.  :)

 

Luann isn't a "friend of" anymore...she regained her apple after her stellar performance last year.
