If a person/family was never featured on any of the Duggar shows, and is not related to the Duggar family by blood or marriage, they do not need to be discussed here..

We may all agree that David Rodriques is quite unfortunate looking, but let's refrain from comparing human beings to apes, its got way too much of a loaded history- please review the new Inclusion Policy updated May 1, 2022 , which details guidelines around discussing body type, capabilities, physical appearance etc. Additionally, using body size as an insult is not allowed.

Exactly. There is no positive side to what they're doing. Their intentions are trash and they're taking up space from people much better qualified.

Oh wow, I cringed so hard reading that I think I sprained my neck.

 

Even more sad, they used this exact same description with their last bunch of earrings and air fresheners. Anyone who helpfully pointed out the analogy error was probably blocked by Precious Mama.

I appreciate that they are trying their best to hustle considering their lack of education and skills, but the edges of these earrings, the lack of a clean edge (using a sharp and fresh X-acto blade), and the inability to PRESENT their wares are all really sad.

The Rods have zero originality or independent thoughts. Referring to a free gift as a "prize" is straight out of the Plexus pitch book. Remember when Nurie and Kaylee had their car accident? Like a month before the kids had volunteered as wait staff at the local pregnancy center's annual "fundraising banquet". The day after the accident Precious Mama had Nurie on a Facebook Live to "share her heart" with everyone, and Nurie said that immediately after the accident she was coming up with ideas to make money for another car and that she had considered having a banquet. These poor kids. 

What saddens me most is that so far the single females of age in this family haven't so much as had a part-time job at the Hobby Lobby or in the office of a local Christian business. Sure it's fine to stuff envelopes as a volunteer at the local pregnancy center with Precious Mama, but what about an actual job? They would gain so much - a paycheck, some social skills, problem solving skills, a little confidence. But then they might be exposed to women who wear pants, or don't worship Jesus exactly the same way. Even the more conservative homeschool families I know have their daughters taking on a part time job outside the home. Jill and David have set up all of these poor kids for epic failure, and it's tragic in the long term.

I chalk it up to the Medic Corps guys always willing to stop and play for the cameras.  The professionals don't have the time nor the inclination for it.  The networks will get the token spokesperson who is willing to be interviewed because that is their job.  In my experience, the people you see on camera are the ones who are willing to do it and not always the best person to be speaking or pretending to work for the cameras.

Just the idea that any of these douchecanoes are choosing an injured human being to kneel next to under the guise of "helping," and another one of them thinks, "Hey, I see a great photo op here!" makes me furious.

I wonder how much time they spend taking direct orders from people who truly know what they're doing, versus how much time they spend wandering around in their matching t-shirts and AirPods, pretending to be very busy and important but not really wanting to be called to task.

Their pictures are sooo staged.  Their motivations are also very apparent when they choose to use Instagram as their social media platform of choice and have largely ignored their Twitter account.  They want the platform that values images over text (and that also conveniently allows them to delete comments they don't like).

Jill referred to these earrings as stunning and stylish. I saw the one with the heart, truly pathetic. I am sad for these girls that they would think that anyone would buy and wear these childish earrings. I am sure that they just want to make a little bit of spending money. Maybe they should reconsider this money making endeavor.  Has it ever occured to these people that they could get a part time job? Oh wait no they can't associate with regular folks.

Trouble is that I can see any little bit of spending money they make going toward gifts for their precious Mama. What else would they ever spend it on?

You have to wonder if they are even working towards getting a larger home or just going merrily along thinking that God will provide when the kids are bursting out of the one bedroom. 

Or Chard is going to drop dead from exhaustion and worry over trying to provide food, clothing and shelter for this group.

My first thought was whether she took Clomid or another drug. Her fool mother took progesterone to maintain (her final) pregnancies, and that was A-OK with the "god's will" crowd. Whatever they want is always "god's will."

And in this bio link she talks about seeing a fertility specialist after her 3 surgeries not for fertility treatments, sure Erin, but to get her hormones straightned out. I have all ideas that she went for fertility treatments to stimulate her remaining ovary to get miracle #5. I especially loved Carson telling about the angel appearing to him to tell him his mother was pregnant. These people are wacky.

FFS. People don't see a fertility specialist to straighten out their hormones! But it's god's will for Princess Erin to keep having kids so she'll always have more than her sisters and sister-in-law, of course.

I don't see how anyone's fifth child is a miracle especially when you admit to surgical intervention.  That caption is a slap in the face to Erin's sister Michael and the thousands of other childless women who desperately want to have their own biological child.  It isn't God blessing you, but your own arrogance and greed.

He may have, but he didn't stay out of medicine. I don't know what he does right now, but I'm pretty sure he worked as a medical doctor in a prison for a long time. Maybe even during some of his peak Gothard years when he was one of their honchos? I know his medical license was up to date and he was listed as the prison doc at some big facility in Oklahoma when I checked him out at one point. 

Maybe he quit at first and then realized that unless you get a tv show because you're a Gothardite, you can't support a double-digit number of kids without an actual job? 

I would think being a doctor would have been something Gothard would be tolerant of, since you can be self employed if you want to be....And you can even refrain from believing in evolution if you want to....Once you get through the initial pre-med biology classes, nobody'll notice you being a Darwin Denier if you don't bring it up yourself....
