If Kail hates it--and she's had one before-- why did she get yet another one (C class)? And talk about an entitled statement--jeez. When she was living in subsidized housing in PA she would've been grateful to have any vehicle.

On a positive note--that is a cute pic of all three boys--can't resist chubby baby legs and hands. Why did she have to respond to the comment with cussing?  Just say no, my son is obviously not malnourished--or something like that.

ETA: so, I heard that Kail mentioned Janet on her most recent podcast. She was asked about her current relationship with Janet to which she responded  that they are civil. She also added that she felt Janet never really liked her and was being fake for the cameras. Hmmmmmm.

It's been awhile since I've seen the early seasons, but I never got the feeling Janet was fake. I doubt she was a good enough actor to pretend to care about Kail, especially because of the fact Kail was a huge, disrespectful asshole most of the time. Not like anyone could blame Janet for not liking Kail.

In all honesty,  Janet probably didn't and still doesn't  like Kail. I know I wouldn't want  my teen son to date someone like her. However, Janet put whatever dislike she had aside to make sure Kail  had a roof over her head, food in her belly, adequate medical care,  etc. That says alot because at the end of the day, Janet did not owe Kail or Isaac shit since  they were solely Jo's responsibility.

I think that at the time (so when Kailyn was pregnant and Issac was a baby), Janet saw Kailyn as a young girl who had been tossed aside by the one person who (in janet’s world view) was supposed to love her unconditionally (her Mother). As a mother that had to get to Janet.

Given that Janet was prone to be kind and supportive to Kailyn, hoping her sour personality was due to stress/trust issues/post partum hormones etc and that if she offered her a stable home Kailyn would mature to be a better human being. She probably didn’t get a sense of what her true personality was like with all the extra stressors in her life and she wanted to make sure that she was in an emotionally healthy place to parent Issac. 

 

I think when Kailyn blantanly disrespected her rules regarding dating while under her roof (which to me were obvious- perhaps it’s a cultural thing), Janet went “I’m done.”

It’s similar to how Kim felt about Caitlyn (TM:OG), although Cait always treated her with respect, never spoke inappropriately to her, and left when she was asked to leave.

FURTHER...I was listening to Coffee Convos (just...I know...I KNOW), but she was complaining to Lindsie Chrisley about how she's put $100k into improvements for her house and that she'll only get "what it's worth" if she sells it.

So um...yeah? You only ever get what it's worth when you sell a house. I think she might have been trying to say that she would only break even on the mortgage even though she's put cash into it. And she adds a pool, which for some people is NOT a desirable feature, but complains about people who opt for the "builder grade" cabinets.

It’s most likely in his name alone because he used his VA entitlement and if that’s that case, unless you are married or a widow of a veteran you can’t go on the loan.  Veteran and spouse is the only way VA recognizes a borrower for a VA guarantee mortgage.

Kail is one of those people who thinks her opinion is the only valid opinion. Maybe YOU would rather have a smaller home with a nicer interior. But interior details are a lot easier to fix than size. So *gasp* some people might actually prefer a larger home that fits their family well that they can renovate here and there than squeezing into a small home that they may grow out of with a "nicer" interior.

This- so much. Also interior tastes change, web and flow with the fashions. It’s much easier to upgrade finishes than add and addition onto the house!

If Kailyn had any sense she would be quiet regarding anything Javi is doing other than to say “Lincoln loves it there.” Period. 

That being said I don’t what’s up with this new girl- she’s pregnant by a reality tv personality, living in his home, he may be deployed again, Boy oh boy.

This last part says so much - just look at how Catelynn treated Kim respectfully versus how Kail treated/still treats (or talks about) Janet.  People always give Kail a pass because she didn't have good role models and since her mom is Suzy, but Catelynn was raised by April when she was at the height of her addiction and also in her teen years, by Butch.  While Catelynn certainly has her problems, she still knows how to function in a manner that isn't raging at people 99% of the time & not be disrespectful for people who have done a lot for you.  Kail has had almost a decade since the falling out with Janet, yet she still can't just be graceful about it for the sake of her son (and just in the name of acting like an adult). I'm not articulating it well, but I just find it interesting that even with Catelynn's upbringing, she still was never disrespectful to Kim.  Kail has no excuses.

It was smart of Javi to put it in his name alone, since we all know where this relationship will likely be in a few years.

However, I suggest Lauren take a look at David Eason's property-grifting-TM2 game - he had his name put on the property and house with Jenelle.  When they divorce, David can at least expect half the value of the land or Jenelle to buy him out (and also for the house, if it hasn't sunk).  That's at least some kind of tiny long-term-ish (by this group's standards) financial plan.  Too bad Lauren didn't do that, too.

Also, is a peplum still a thing? I feel like it's been at least 3 years since it's been a thing. And it needs to be a little longer to work with leggings (and obviously, it needs different leggings).  And that peplum top appears to be velvet/velour? Oh dear. I can't imagine how hot and sweaty it must be to wear that in August.  

I don't have a clear enough look of Kail's dress (I'm assuming it'a a dress and not a one-piece romper deal?) in that picture to properly snark on it. It may have been okay if tailored differently and worn on another body type.  Kail's tats are awful.  If was her, I would pretty much always wear dresses with sleeves at events like the MTV awards where I was going to be widely photographed and rubbing elbows with legitimate famous people (especially if I wanted a career in TV after TM2 ends).  (This isn't a knock on tattoos in general, just on Kail's awful tattoos.)

I think Caitlyn, despite her issues, can be more objective about a lot of things. Cait KNOWS Kim treated her well when she had NO ONE. Cait is capable of a kindness that Kailyn doesn’t have, now that might be because Cait has had Tyler, even ignoring their relationship issues has been a constant in her life. Kailyn has no constants (her boys are too Little right now to give much emotionally), and she’s also nastier than Caitlyn. Had Caitlyn grown up in a different family she would be more of a Chelsea type- not too bright but sweet and kind.

It's a pretty low cut dress for an award show, in my opinion. It would be less obvious on a smaller breasted woman though. I am also reasonably certain she's wearing some kind of corset/girdle under that dress that is pushing her boobs up and maximizes her hooker-iffic look. It could be a pretty dress with some tweaks, but as of right now she looks like Vegas escort who was told by her pimp to try to "look classy", circa 1987.

I think she should have found something that showed a little less cleavage, but it does show how thin she is compared to how she usually looks! This is at least a step, IMO, in the right direction towards dressing for her body type. If the top had come up just a little higher, it would have been classier, but at least you can see her narrow waist. 99% of what she wears make sure her look really big and boxy!

I will give Cate some credit for dressing for her body type.  Peplum is kind of out of style, but people like her (and me) love it because it hides the tummy.  The leggings are unforgiveable, though.

I thought they were skin-tone, and she was going for a skater-dress look.  But no, they are gross.

I have to agree with that (from what I can see in the picture). Also, black and dark colors are generally slimming. If I was a reality TV "celebrity" & I got to be around "real" (and mostly slim and fit) celebrities at annually at MTV awards shows, you can bet I'd show up wearing black or another dark, slimming color every single year.  Kail at least has the darker colors are slimming thing down this year.

I also think Kail isn't really that big, but her implants and large chest make her look bigger.  She also is a lot taller and bigger-framed than the other girls on TM2, who are all short and pretty tiny.  I think Jenelle and Leah aren't that much over 5' tall and maybe Chelsea is like 5'3," while Kail is around 5'7"-5'8".  Kail probably doesn't look that much bigger in person and in a crowd where there are people of a variety of heights and more people of average/above average heights around.  The other TM2 girls are petite and thin, so even at her thinnest, Kail gets the illusion of looking so much bigger even when she isn't/wasn't because a thin or average-sized 5'8"ish girl looks so much bigger when surrounded by petite & thin people half a foot or more shorter than she is.  

The struggle to not look gigantic (even when you're at an average or thin weight) when you're a taller woman in a pic composed entirely/almost entirely of short and thin people is real.  I know it as someone around Kail's height.  The other girls come out looking delicate and petite while you look like a giant, even though you really aren't one in real life. Kail has made this struggle so much harder on herself with those butt implants, though, as well as the ways in which she usually doesn't dress for her body type.

I COMPLETELY agree!!! I am 5'9", and even at my thinnest, I'm about twice as thick as my tiny friends from the side, and waaaay taller. If i bend over to match their height, your stomach is bunched up, and I have a lot of fat around my upper arms / shoulders, so that area gets accentuated. If I stand up straight, I just look SUPER tall and like I'm not on the same planet with them! I love having enough people to form two rows, so I can be in the back and stand up straight, and look normal. I was so happy to go on vacation recently with two friends who were taller than me! No awkward pics! I really feel for Kail where height is concerned. Unless you're tall and supermodel waif thin, you look massive!

I love having enough people to form two rows, so I can be in the back and stand up straight, and look normal. I was so happy to go on vacation recently with two friends who were taller than me! No awkward pics! I really feel for Kail where height is concerned. Unless you're tall and supermodel waif thin, you look massive!

I am sure you never look MASSIVE! And unlike Kailyn you wear clothing that actually fits you and not those labia injuring shorts. 

I have many thin petite friends. Despite being a plus size gal I’m very pear shaped, if I stand in the middle of the group they hide my hips!!? It works.

HAHAHAHAHA you literally made me LOL with the Kail comment! ???? Thanks for that!!! @Scarlett45 I absolutely hate being on the end, too!!! I feel like it's really easy to end up sticking out like a sore thumb that way, and at an angle that catches your side, while all your tiny friends get photographed at the front at their best angles. Like...basically being Chelsea in this picture, when everyone else in the pic is Leah's size. Cringe! ??‍♀️

Is Jenelle pregnant again?

 

ETA: I won't enter her thread, so sorry if this has been discussed. Every time I click on her thread, or an episode specific thread, I read something horribly disturbing about how Jenelle abuses one of her kids and it bothers me for days.

 

ETA again: Leah appears to be missing a leg. I assume she's standing at an angle and both her legs are together, but hard to say for sure.
