It was astounding when Kody tried to make us believe that a woman who lives in a Million-dollar mansion complete with a nanny, got table scraps.  Robyn, as a victim, didn’t fly.  So now, he is going with how he is treating her poorly.  He will go to any length to make her sympathetic. And as for the “dark wind blowing through him”, it’s probably gas.

Robyn goes on and on about how she and the kids were never accepted.  Kody goes on and on about how Janelle and Christine were bad sister wives to Robyn. He even more or less disowns  his kids because they won’t love Robyn

So if  Robyn’d never forged meaningful relationships with the OG… why is she crying and carrying on about the family dissolving?  Why would she be so upset about people leaving that she never got close to? Why would she want to sit on a porch and rock with them as elderly people? Does she not see the flaw in her drama?

I can't stand Sobbyn!!! She is so fake!! I always knew she was behind the whole catfish incident. She is the reason why her kids don't feel accepted.  She is the one that tells them that the other wives and kids don't want to see them and don't want to spend holidays with them. We saw her telling them this on national t.v.!! That is why they feel that way. She has emotionally crippled them and turned them into victims, just like she did with Kody. This is all her doing.  I'm so glad Christine doesn't want to reconcile with Sobbyn, and why should she?? Sobbyn  can't be trusted, she's two faced and lies all the time. I don't blame Christine one bit for not wanting anything to do with her and Kody. I'm so glad that the og wives and kids aren't putting up with Sobbyn's bullshit. They deserve to be happy and drama free. I don't believe Sobbyn's little fake act about Kody being mean to her, she was practically convulsing trying to get tears out and make the crying look real. Nobody feels sorry for her, except Kody because he's blind. I'm glad everyone left those two toxic, selfish, narcissists. Those two deserve a life of misery together.

If Robyn's assertion that she was told by someone that nobody liked her or her tenders is true, what are the odds that the tattletale is Mykelti?

All the wives except Robyn remember taking the test and thinking their results were accurate.  Funny to see Robyn pivot after realizing she couldn't outright deny any knowledge of it.  LOL! I believe Christine on this one, especially as it seems that there was ongoing beef and bad feelings about it even after Christine thought it was resolved.  I bet Robyn hated truly been seen for what she was and hence, couldn't let it go.

That personality test wasn't something Christine found in Cosmo magazine that she made all the wives take for shits and giggles. I think they took it when they first went to that waste of a degree therapist Nancy. Christine couldn't possibly have taken it for her.

I've noticed a pattern that the 0G3 wives stories sync up more or less and Robyn's rendition of events is usually completely different. Hmm....

I cackled out loud when Sobbyn immediately and defiantly denied taking a personality test, then you could see the hamster wheel that is her brain turning slowwwllllyyyy and her realizing that she just lied on camera and has to back out of her lie now. That? Was a thing of beauty!

Thank you Meri for saying what I have been saying....these women are no longer sister wives. It bugs when Christine and Janelle refer to themselves as that. It is giving Kody a part in their relationship that no longer exists. And Robyn tearfully insisting that she still considers all three of Kody's exes to be her sister wives? Drama indeed. 

I did laugh at Robyn recounting the convo regarding the gift exchange. At one point Robyn was talking about her kids coming to her and she took a dramatic (yes, Robyn) pause. I just knew that she was going to use the term "safe". And sure enough she did, in that the kids said that they did not feel emotionally safe to participate in the gift exchange with their siblings. Exactly how did these teenagers come up with this term, if not from Robyn and Kody? BTW, how emotionally safe have they felt around angry Kody for the last few years? 

I really hope Meri is writing a book. Seems like it would be much more real that the reality show we have watched for years now.

ITA. At first, Robyn didn't know about the personality test. When Suki could back up her question, Robyn says she heard about it but didn't take it. Suddenly, she says that someone must have taken it for her and it was Christine! Suki didn't say anything about Christine. Yet Robyn is certain it is Christine. Robyn got caught in her lies.

Concerning Robyn and Kody, she's telling us how awful Kody is. He's picking fights with her and blaming her. Sabotaging her. She wants it documented that he's in a dark place. He is agreeing with all of her assertions. I'm waiting for her to play her last card in her evil game. I don't feel sorry for Kody one bit. 

I'm glad for Christine that she met David. I hope he's a great guy. I am concerned though that she said she fell in love with him on their 4th date. She's never had anyone truly like her before so she doesn't have any experience with men. Be careful. Kody was such a catfish bottom-feeder in that he chose women who didn't feel much worth. Christine seems so vulnerable. I really do wish her and David happiness. 

I hope Meri writes a book but I'm not likely going to believe her now. It would have been normal if she'd told us a little bit about things along the way. Everyone needs to vent a little. Then, she could have told us the whole story from her point of view in a book. She's not coming from a clean position though. She'll tell us something as long as she makes money doing it. She might make up stuff to sell it. I think Christine helped Meri by mentioning that Kody melted down her ring. 

Kody is such a lying liar. He admits he made a sacred covenant with Robyn. Yet, Suki brings up how he'd made a covenant with Meri, too. Kody then wants to redefine what covenant means and how it doesn't apply to Meri so he couldn't have broken it.

I don't quite know what they all mean by "safe". As far as we know, they are physically safe.
So, mentally safe. If they are on guard, what can happen to them to be in the presence of someone else in the family? What are they going to do to them to make them feel unsafe? I don't understand. And why cry about losing these people that make you feel unsafe?
I saw more  clearly last night just how much Robyn is behind this mess. Telling Meri to hang in there when clearly she knew Kody  wanted no part of her.
On another note, I do wonder how crappy it must feel to have so much of the public hate you? I'm surprised Robyn hasn't had a total breakdown.

I'm not too sure that someone told her kids that the others hate them.  But I bet that Robyn told them this often over the past few years. I wish that Suki would have asked her how participating in a gift exchange with the other kids not be safe? Robyn is behind all of this BS about things not being safe and being bullied.  She got on that video chat for one reason and that was to control what went down and make sure her children would not participate. A good mother would have let her children handle this on their own and told them told gee that sounds like fun. Especially when said children were 22, 20 and 18 at the time.  I think Robyn is a horrible mother who will stoop to anything to isolate her adult children from their siblings. She doesn't care about her children she cares about herself and her grip on Kody.

It is literally about time we start getting some "real" details from these people (as in, stuff we already knew but watched them dance around for 187 seasons).

We got some info about the catfish and Robyn's part in it, which - if I remember correctly - we detailed in these threads so many seasons ago, but I am certain that it was never brought up on the show until now.  Of course Saint Robyn's friend told her about Meri hooking up with the bad scary person, and Robyn was all - "NO.  I do not want to hear about this and I will sever my relationship with you, friend, if you continue to talk about this with me!"  PLEASE.  Robyn probably left skid marks on her kitchen floor in a rush to make a pot of tea to sip while her friend told her all the sordid details, so she could run and tell Kody. 

The Christmas exchange text chain details were super interesting to me.  There were a couple of quiet throwaway lines that had me very interested...the fact that Christine, I think, said that Robyn's girls texted that they were so scarred from feeling unwanted by their bonus siblings that they don't want to have their own families, and Janelle made a passing comment about how those girls need therapy.  And Christine telling us that Robyn's kids feel separate because Robyn set it up that way was beautiful.

As for Kody...he regales us with his twisted idea about taking a "lover" and then telling said lover that he simply cannot continue, because the real love of his life is currently at home drawing on her eyebrows.  I took a quick poll of all the women on planet Earth and not one of us wants to be involved with Kody Brown in any way so for the love, put that particular twisted fantasy to bed, sir.  

And while I don't believe one word out of Crybrow's mouth, I can believe that living with Kody Brown sucks very much and if she ever were to shed a tear, it would be because she's won the worst prize of all.  Congrats, Drama Dark Queen.

Much to my surprise, I liked Suki this episode. While sounding calm and conversational, she managed to make Robyn squirm.

The other bonus was not seeing as much of Kody's scary face and curls. 

I still would love to see them all in a room together being asked questions with immediate feedback from each other. Robyn and Kody would declare that arrangement "not safe" because they love to use that term for practically everything. But it would be fun for us.

IMO, it won't continue past another season, maaaybe two, because viewership right now is due to finally getting to see some truth, however slowly they drip-feed it to us.  But that can't go on for long. Unless they completely drop anyone it will likely keep the same name because TLC isn't going to spend any money 'rebranding' these people. Name accuracy doesn't matter unfortunately, MTV has a show with 30 yo women called 'Teen Mom'.

This was the big question for me.  A genuine therapist wouldn't use a test to determine "personality type"--this is, for me, *exactly* the kind of test you'd take for shits and giggles.  The closest to anything like this being used in a serious situation is maybe for hiring purposes.  My husband used to come home from management seminars with tests like this, to be used to figure out how to get the best from employees.

And then it sounded like Crybrows was implying that the test was Christine's evaluation of her personality, or that Christine took the test *for* her--which is not the feeling I got from the other wives.

I assumed it was one of those online personality "tests" that tell you what breed of dog you're most like, or what your favorite color tells about you.  It never occurred to me that it might have been a serious evaluation by their "therapist."  In that case--whoa.

If you want to watch the episode where they take the test it is season 6 episode 10. If you start about 3.5 minutes in, you can see them all taking the test.

There is a reason why Janelle and Christine don't trust Robyn and think she lies.

It is because Robyn is untrustworthy and a liar.

Those tests - Meyers Briggs, True Colours, etc. - are still commonly used in workplaces for "team building" (gag) and learning how to communicate with your co-workers.  I detest them.

I also don't understand all this "safe" talk. No one in my life uses this term the way I think the Browns are using it. Safe from what ? Safe from emotional conflict, I guess.

I agree the personality test was one of the numerous stupid tests I see on the internet. Christine probably took it and sent it to the other adults as a joke. Robyn as per usual loses her damn mind and becomes the victim. Again. 

As a parent, Robyn is doing her children a tremendous disservice with this victim mentality. In most families with a lot of kids, there will be some mudslinging. And of course, it will always be on the playground and in the halls at school and online and in the workplace. She should teach them to toughen up a little, stick up for themselves and each other, return a little fire when they can, and ignore what they cant.

Yes, this.  And IMHO if this was all for the sake of the younger children, 9 pm seems like a pretty late hour for young kids to be up and about.  Not that I'm implying that Robyn is not a good mother, I'm just saying....

The personality test reminded me of 16personalities.com.  This is an online personality test based on the psychological scale using OCEAN. Diplomat is one of the possible personality types.  I take this test every year when teaching my high school psychology course and my personality always comes out the same description. The students also say the test is a pretty accurate description of their personality.  So if this is the test they took, I would say it's fairly accurate.

This stood out to me too.  I think this fits with the narcissistic traits Kody has shown.  Christine and Janelle talking about how Kody's "love" was conditional for them.  Kody's confusion during the breakup conversation with Christine makes sense.  K: I never said we'd never be intimate again, I said we'll see.  Holding something back that he thinks Christine wants for leverage because that's probably worked in the past.  Except Christine actually paid attention in therapy and knew what she wanted and what she would accept and enforced her boundary.  That loss of power and control really bothers someone with narcissistic tendencies.  This whole I just want to disappear, change my name, start over, leave everything behind also shows narcissistic tendencies.  Either he's the center of attention and adoration or he doesn't exist. 

This nonsense about Kody not understanding why he's so angry--it's called narcissistic rage.  When people stop giving him supply, and then actually walk away from him, narcissistic rage is the result.  Narcissistic rage of course is a defense against feeling that sense of inner nothingness.  I would say he needs counseling but it's hardly likely to do much good.  Narcissistic tendencies don't respond well in therapy generally.

Although I believe Robyn lied about taking the test, I do believe she made a valid point regarding Christine taking that test with her in mind.  Back then, Christine was obsessed with all things Robyn, and I could see her taking the test using her own perceptions of how Robyn would answer in an effort to get insights on how to handle the Robyn/Kootie situation.

And...in all of these years watching and discussing the show online. It's being revealed how RIGHT we all were. Just watching what they put out on camera really gave them away even tho they often said something very different...the viewers figured out pretty quick what was going on.

I'm implying that she's not a good mother, her and Kody have said before that they let Ari stay up until one or two in the morning, bouncing off the walls, Ari still sucks on a binkie and turns 8 in January. Sobbyn sleeps in until late afternoon and she has brainwashed her older children into thinking the whole family hates them and wants nothing to do with them. She has to have a nanny because she can't or doesn't want to take care of the two youngest ones, plus she has three older kids that could help out with them. She's a horrible mom.

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but did anyone else catch when Meri said (regarding her marriage to Kody) that nothing had happened to break the covenant at that time?  My mind immediately went to Robyn’s spiel about the only way to break the covenant is to sleep with another man.  Could Meri have found herself a man?  Or am I desperately grasping at straws for something interesting in this drawn out tell nothing?  I think the latter is more likely 😏

I took it to mean they were talking about the catfish incident. Kody acted like Meri was sleeping with someone when she was just talking to them and never met the person. He always acted like it worse than it was.

It seems like she forgets that all of the 18 episodes are filmed and that we can see any episodes whenever we want. She's always lying about the way things were and we can always go back and see what really happened on the past episodes.

I want to ask Kody why he hates his life so much since he has everything he wanted. Is it all about money? He has the one wife and kids he can stand-go off and live with crying Robyn. I really can’t stand the sobbing voice she uses when almost anything is brought up. I’m still mad at her about screwing up the sibling gift exchange which was something they all looked forward to and had fun with. 
Robyn also needs to understand that kids who all grew up together are going to be closer than stepchildren who enter the family. She also has done nothing to get the kids together or to act like a loving stepmother. Outside of sleeping all day and having the nanny take care of the little ones, I’m guessing the rest of the time she is either complaining about the rest of the family or demanding something for herself. Hmm, maybe I have figured out why Kody hates his life.

She needs to look at whatever relationships she has with her step family
