The Roses of this episode.  Great to see Ramona.  Bad that BRAVO did RHONY the dirty.  Danielle is a better fit for the show than Jackie.  Olivia is the new Milania.

The Thorn of this episode:  Joe and Melissa whining - again.  SO OVER the family feud.

Totally agree with Joe and Melissa whining over and over.  IF they are "so over it", as they remind us time after time after time, why don't we see them talking about anything else?  (Maybe because they don't really have anything else interesting enough to talk about?  Or, maybe they're not the super-happy, united couple they pretend to be?)

My Thorn of this episode - Jennifer friggin' Fessler!!!  Please just get her off my screen!  She's not funny, she's not witty, she's annoying and trying too damn hard to be involved.  Plus, shoving huge amounts of food in her mouth was not attractive at all.

I realize this is a petty comment, but it truly drives me crazy. Given "foyer" is a common french architectural term, why do these women mispronounced it? When they rhyme it with lawyer, they sound stunned. I've notice this before on American tv.

I think this is a word that has been "Americanized".  Most Americans pronouce it "foy-yer" (as you said, rhyming with lawyer) and not the proper French pronunciation of "foy-yay" (forgive my basic pronunciation descriptive).  Around here (NJ), if someone were to say it with the proper French pronunciation, people usually laugh behind their hands at that person for trying to put on airs and be "fancy".

I don't really care about all of this with Teresa and Louie's engagment party, but if Melissa asked to sit at a different table than Teresa and Louie's, why did Teresa feel the need to apologize to them for not being placed at the "head" table?

No apology would have been necessary if Teresa honored Melissa and Joe's request.

I'm not usually on Melissa's side in these silly, petty arguments, but that one had me scratching my head.  Especially when Jennifer chimed into the discussion.  Jennifer did no favors for Teresa in that argument.

Seems to me that Tre is treating Jen much better than Dolores this season. Dolores has had her back way to many time, but will also not stand by her when Tre is totally in the wrong. Maybe Jen is a better “everything you do is right “ friend.

Why is Rachel Fuda and her husband on the show? I guess Bravo wanted to add two younger HWs. The husband was shocked they were invited to Teresa’s wedding because they just met her, but he didn't know that the wedding would become a Bravo special. Their house has no landscaping, and it appears to be new, so it seems they moved relatively recently.

Danielle is a little extra. She has a nice body though.

The new Gorga house is plain.

Enough of the feud with Teresa. The Gorgas have no storyline. I don't want to see them on the show. If they have issues with Joe Guidice, and Loui, it means they are the problem.

Somebody is finally getting dirt on Margaret!

Jen Fessler keeps eating and ignoring the fights.

Jackie IS a snob. A snob who didn't work for some years (she only had a mom blog), and received money from her parents (who hid it after they committed fraud) to invest in real estate, and the stock market.

Jennifer is trolled by her daughters!

She is always aggressive. And drunk. And high.

I don't have any problem believing that Jackie gave the new girls some attitude.  As soon as she filmed with them she had to be aware that they both are a better fit for this franchise than she ever was.  Do we know if the decision to make her a "friend of" was hers or that of production? Whatever,  I won't miss her.

I am staring to like the new Danielle.

Little Joe and his wife have been playing victim since joining the cast. Teresa isn't a quick thinker and doesn't express herself well so they can easily outtalk her...and that has been enough for a lot of viewers to place them in the right regardless if that is the case.  In this episode Melissa was so upset by the audacity of Luis to bring up her name in a negative light...despite her and Joe aways talking about Tre and her men to others.  Margaret is another one always gossiping but then acting like she is above it all.  I'm noticing there is finally starting to be a sizable shift in opinion beginning to form in regard to the self-proclaimed innocents across a lot of social media.  It's about damn time.  Teresa is no saint and has plenty of her own issues, but there are several on this show who are no prizes themselves.

Jackie filmed like a normal HW (meaning a lot- she was in almost every scene), but the producers decided to edit her out.

I like that Danielle shaded Jackie and didn’t invite her to her get together. I believe she was demoted when filming started as Frank outed the news but they kept filming her in case the newbies didn’t work out.

Danielle don’t apologize for your house! I am over the museum looking homes that all start to look alike.

I want to know the information about Margaret that Tre and Jen are holding onto.

The feuds are so tired. Now Margaret is joining in. If Teresa and Jennifer talked to her ex friend why is she only mad at Jennifer? So she doesn’t jeopardize her ticket to the wedding.

Melissa and Joe are making a career out of their feud with Tre. Shut up about the wedding!

It's season 13 and the sprinkle cookies are still being brought up. Same with the Joe vs Joe fight, which Gorga absolutely started but couldn't finish. Both Joe's, Teresa, Melissa and probably Louie are all "bad seeds" to varying degrees. Gabriella never speaks so next week could be interesting.

Interesting Marge is only mad Jen went to her friend and not Teresa. Nothing has been revealed yet Marge is panicking. Everyone says she has information on everyone so I'd like it if this were her chickens coming home to roost but probably not, she'll escapeblame. I believe Marge said what she supposedly said about Melissa and I also kinda think M&J are mostly together for the show I feel like Melissa has been sick of Joe for years. I think Melissa wants Teresa's part held until the end.

I like Danielle doesn't have a McMansion. She can be over the top, but nice. Mozzarella party sounds more fun than what was going on at Marge's gathering, except of course the fights had to happen. Jackie was rude to Rachel last episode. I'm not sure that still image of Jackie/Danielle is proof she was appraising her clothes/bracelets but I do think Jackie is feeling pressure with the demotion so she very well been eying up a replacement.

Jens kids may roast her but they always seem nice/welcoming to other kids which I like.

If Marge has published her dirty deeds and what not in her book why would Jennifer meet with the ex friend Jennifer to get dirt on her? Marge has been open about her life on the show and in print, Jennifer A. is just trying to get more camera time and is not a nice person, there was no reason to meet with a stranger to talk about someone she called a friend.

Delores is back to wearing fabulous dresses, that pink and yellow dress she wore to Marge's house was gorgeous and I want it! I may contact Delores on SM to find out where she got it, think she'll tell me?

Strange Jennifer Fessler angry eating mozzarella cheese was odd.  Also, if I were in the cast I would only call her by her first and last name all the time.

New Blonde Girl's house looks nice, I hope she does not give in to the peer pressure and buy a McMansion like the others have and I hope she does not mess with her face, I think she is very pretty with her original face.

I noticed Melissa did that thing to her mouth where when it is open it looks like a puppet mouth plus more cheek fillers.

Jennifer A. has changed her body and face a lot, no original parts remain, looking at her kids...oy vey, sorry but the gene pool is not doing those girls any favors, I wonder what message all of Jenn's surgeries is sending to those girls.

Teresa may be apologizing more these days but she is still doing shit she has to apologize for.  Her saying she has to change the wedding date and location because of Ramona was funny because the 4th wall was broken and the other women did not even feign asking, "Ramona who?"  Maybe Loooiiee is crushing up Xanax in her food because she does seem calmer these days.

Melissa and Joe have to move on, they cannot get it right with Teresa because Teresa does not like them no matter what she says, even Teresa does not believe she wanted M&J to sit at her table at the rehearsal dinner.

Delores' boyfriend is kind and seems to really love her, he has nice home too, I do not get any grifter vibes from him like I do from Loooiiiee, do we know what he does for a living?  I will miss Frank C. though because D does not need an escort to events or to fix a leaky pipe, new boyfriend can probably do those things.  I watched an old episode of RHONJ and Delores actually said she wanted more from ex boyfriend David and then got pissy with everyone when they said stuff about her wanting more, this guy takes the guess work out of a relationship, Delores seems to know where they stand with each other.

Perfect example of the Gorgas belabored "storyline" last night.  They go on a trip to an awards show with Teresa that isn't filmed. There are pics of them hanging out with Bethanny and others. Meanwhile, on camera after the trip, Teresa says it was nice to spend time together while the Gorgas bash her for what again? Oh yeah, the wedding snub, which Melissa had said in her text was a non-issue. Pick a lane.

They lucked out for years because A) Teresa's was always told to value family, B) She didn't watch the show, and C) Most of the people surrounding her either had a vested interest in the storyline or knew better than to get involved in a family dispute. I think the combination of Luis' presence in her life and the girls getting older and having their own opinions on the family dynamics opened her eyes. Then she re-watched the show and saw all the things they said/did behind her back. She's done.  I think it was easy to blame Melissa but watching the show made her see that her brother's the bigger reason for the tension.

Someone should teach Margaret and that newbie woman the actual definition of hypocrisy. A great example might be Margaret's actively digging up dirt on Jen's marriage but being so angry that Jen would even consider hearing dirt offered to her about Margaret.  More importantly, they should know that being cheated on is not at all the same thing as being the cheater. In fact, most people who have been cheated on, like Jennifer, are bound to have negative feelings towards cheaters, especially those as vocal and proud about it like Margaret. That's not hypocritical.

I don't think Margaret is necessarily worried about what the ex-friend will or has said about her - I think Margaret's worried that this ex-friend will spill ALL of the stuff Margaret supposedly knows about the other ladies and repeated to the ex-friend.  Margaret is worried that it will come out that she has been the source of a lot of gossip/rumors over the years, which she has always denied.

I looked Paul up - he owns a high-end electrical contracting business, and appears to be very successful.  That was a beautifully decorated home.  I'm still on the fence about Paul, but he does seem to treat Dolores well - time will tell if he's just doing it for exposure on the show, or if he's true.

If I hear the words "ride or die" on this franchise, I will scream!!  I heard enough of that saying on Salt Lake City.  I guess, if you were to compare friends from these two specific franchises, Jen = Heather and Teresa = Jen Shah??  Now that I think about it, Teresa and Jen Shah have A LOT of things in common and have similar personality traits.

That is a good way to look at the situation but I do wonder if this "friend," was instrumental in helping Margaret find out any info on the other HW's and will gloss over that fact when talking to Jenn A.  Unless Jennifer A. actually spills any beans this is a "she said, she said," sort of thing.

I think it is interesting that the friend chose Jenn A. to tell things to and not anyone else so it makes me wonder did Jenn reach out to this person or was it really the other way around because Jenn did try to find the girl Jackie's husband supposedly slept with, so maybe she is not being truthful on how she got to speak with said friend, Jenn likes to dig too.

What do Joe and Melissa bring to the table other than griping about everything Tre has ever said/done? Be gone, PLEASE. The reason you're on a red carpet is because of Teresa, and a decade later you're still salty about it, and that's why you don't get along. There is no mystery here.

OH and Tarzan, YOU charged Juicy, and YOU caused the fight at the Christening. I don't have amnesia, I watched every season, and no amount of clever clips will make me buy your incorrect version of events. Stop gaslighting viewers, Andy. Joe Giudice can't defend himself against your lies, but whatever he's guilty of, your family issues ain't part of it. You had issues with him and now you have issues with Luis... seems to me YOU are the common denominator. For all the weird stuff people have said over the years about Tre being obsessed with her brother, it looks like that Lannister shit runs both ways. JoeGo really doesn't take to his sister having a mate.

Luis read Melissa like a book - insecure AF. How many different faces has she had? I swear she has a different nose every premiere. That clip from season 3 made me gasp. I wouldn't even have recognized her.

Mel is right about one thing - it's good to drop the facade. I don't think Tre cares much now that her parents are gone. I do feel bad that she'll never understand the truth - her issues are with her brother. Melissa is just a symptom - she didn't cause any of the rift. She was just a vehicle to get JoeGo the attention he'd always wanted. But man, I cannot abide these two anymore. Their time is really running out. The fact that the girls are about to call out their lies and BS next week makes me feel like there's hope they'll get the comeuppance they've so richly deserved for a decade.

The new Danielle is great. Probably one of the best additions to a franchise in years. I love that her home isn't an over-the-top marble mausoleum and her kids are cute. I also have met a lot of women like her - she reminds of some of the girls I went to college with. I think she's funny and she has a fresh personality. Whoever said "Mob Wives" was right on. She's like a younger cuter Victoria Gotti. No WONDER Jackie was rude to her. She's already 10x the asset Jackie ever was on this show.

The other new girl? The brunette? Her name already escapes me. Not a fan. She looks like a Bratz doll and she's already up Melissa and Marge's ass. I get wanting to go younger but where Danielle gels with the women, she seems entirely out of place. She'd do better on OC. I vacillate between bored and annoyed when she's on screen.

What's the deal w/ Jennifer Fessler?

Marge looks 100% different from when she first came on. It's almost terrifying. Her face is like a cone.

I'm in the minority but I do think the women unfairly gang up on Jennifer about pretty much everything. Why they feel they can tell her how to behave is weird. Maybe it's just because she's messy, but she does the same stuff they all do and they crucify her for it. I love Dolores but her tough girl act is getting old. Go pick on Tre or Melissa. Going hard at Jen every season is boring. Jen's like the Sutton of NJ and we are at the point where it ceases being entertaining and gets hard to watch.

I said mob wives last week supremediva! I actually swear she may have been on the show (not the one with Big And, but the knock off one after that). Her and her family look so familiar! I also think that the small daughter of the other newbie looks like Heather Dubrow's daughter (Coco maybe?)

Thjis show is so boring now...the same old fights, constant bickering and family fueds. I came close to turning the channel half way in. This show is old and tired...I'm sick of Teresa, Melissa and Marge. They need to recast this franchise. Might have to stop watching it if it doesn't get more interesting. The Gorga/Teresa thing is just so old and tedious.

I'm not sure I get why Rachel Fuda was cast.  She strikes me as just another typical northern nj italian girl. Throw a rock, knock down a dozen. What was her appeal other than she's friends with Melissa?  (that's probably why I think she's just another basic bitch) And her commenting that Jackie was rude to her?  Jackie called you out on YOU being rude.  You were angling to get in with the full-time cast by dismissing the recently "demoted" cast member who was standing right there with you and got called out.  Point goes to Jackie on that.  And honestly, we don't need another boring cast member.  And somebody needs to go give her hubby a 23andme kit so we can find out what his relation is to Jim Marchese.  Long lost twin?  Identical cousin?  Secret half-brother?  He looks just like him!

Okay.  I didn't like Danielle at first.  But she grew on me this episode with her "yeah I want to know, don't YOU???" - I cracked up.  And l liked her over the top yet normal sized house.  And while I feel oddly protective of Jackie, I'm kind of impressed that she on her own decided that Jackie's time on RHONJ is over and excluded her from an event with every other person.  I mean, that was some jaw-dropping maneuvering right there!  And honestly, right now I don't see where

Speaking of Jackie, I'm kind of getting the impression that the true story of her role as friend is what we heard in the beginning, that she was demoted, not that she willingly stepped back to focus on her recovery.  She's there, but barely.  It's not looking good.  Which honestly, is a shame.  I know people don't like her because of Tre, or because she's too sensitive, or whatever.  But I think she's had better storylines than find-my-fake-sister-Melissa, re-do-my-home-4-times-Dolores, and pot-stirring-no-storyline-of-her-own-Margaret.  She's gone head to head with Teresa, Jen and Dolores, she's faced shitty rumors about her husband's fidelity, she's battling an eating disorder.  I get that she's not showy, ostentatious and over the top, but honestly she's bringing more to the plate than sprinkle cookies.  I think she got a bit of a raw deal there and ultimately think that she got demoted because she became a very real legal liability due to the health issues.  On a hunch, their contract doesn't release them from being held responsible for negative health outcomes - you know, like a heart attack - brought on by re-ignited eating disorder thanks to stress as a result of producer-drive antics and aggressive bullying by show's alleged "star."

Speaking of everybody favorite love or hate character.  I got so confused.  Was Teresa first trying to say that Melissa and Joe were seated with her at the engagement party and then when Jen confirmed that wasn't true she backed it out and said she didn't sit with them because she was mad at them, AFTER just a few weeks earlier during the reunion where she insisted she didn't see the seating arrangements until she got there and it was too late?  Did she really try to do that?  What is she even trying to accomplish at this point?  She doesn't like Melissa and has been upset with her brother for marrying her from day one.  Just own it at this point.  Simple as that.  No need to put on airs for the cameras and make it seem like everything is fine.  Your best fans know you don't like them.  Hell, even the farmer in North Dakota who has never even heard of RHONJ knows you don't like them.  Stop trying to "save face," it just makes you look worse.

Paul's apartment was beautiful.  Where does he live?  I won't lie though, I like Frank better.

I feel the exact same way…between the tired storylines, fights and lack of impulse control on the part of some of these women it’s just a yawn fest. I mean how many times are we going to see these get togethers at someone’s house where there is a nice spread (in this case people hired to present a food demonstration) and a fight breaks out with threatening language, yelling and foul language. It’s just embarrassing and so trailer trashy.

I agree there 100%.

Say what you will about the early seasons, I'd say 1-3 maybe even 4 and 5, but because the cast was so close, all lived right in the same immediate area, and some were family, the dynamics were much more natural.  It made perfect sense for Caroline to go wandering in to Jacqueline's kitchen or for Tre to go over to do a work out together and drink wine on the patio instead. It made sense for Kathy to ring Melissa's doorbell for lunch.  The manufactured events even felt more natural because of the dynamics.  Field day? It worked because they actually would probably all do that together in real life.  Porsche Fashion Show?  They would have been in those seats without the Bravo cameras.  Trip to the Catskills?  Probably not the first time they've been there.  Petting zoo birthday party with all the adults and their kids?  Just another Saturday in September.

Now we get some bizarre "event of the week, hosted by the housewife du jour + 1 or 2 trips together as a cast = season" formula.  Nobody pops by without hair extensions and full glam. And half of these people don't know each other, don't like each other, and wouldn't even ever have an opportunity to meet in real life.  And those who do have those natural friendships can't get over the fact that there are cameras present to act natural like they normally would.

I love RHONJ but it is very formulaic.  Dare I say I miss the natural dynamic of Caroline in her Tshirt wiping down her counters while Jacq comes in all disheveled from a workout, while Tre makes a sangwich in a matching velour sweatsuit for a bedazzled and bow covered Milania while Joe snores in bed and Gia flips around doing gymnastics in the background?

I love the show.  I miss it feeling real.

If Bravo thought that Jackie was a liability because of her eating disorder, it wouldn't let her film as a full time HW for the current season, and then demote her, especially since she is far more healthy now. She wouldn't be offered to film at all. Jen Shah of the Salt Lake City HWs tried to commit suicide, and she filmed for the whole season. Wasn't she a liability? All the HWs who had/have legal issues (Teresa Guidice, Erika Jayne, Jacqueline Laurita, Jen Shah, Taylor Armstrong, etc.) would be a liability.

I get kind of bad vibes from Paul. I'm nervous for Dolores!

Also... I know this isn't news, but Teresa is just so dim and looks bizarre in her confessionals. On the other hand, Melissa and Joe come off as unhinged and obsessed. This is a case of ESH as they say on the AITA forums (aka Everyone Sucks Here).

I was so confused by that too. I'm not a fan of any of these people and I think Joe and Melissa need to let it go at this point, but I would be frustrated too with Teresa if she says one thing at the reunion and is now trying to turn it around and make it seem like it was something else.

I respectfully disagree. I think Jackie has been the best foil to Teresa since Caroline Manzo. It was great to see someone who wasn't typical Jersey--hair teased to the high heavens without much of a functional brain underneath--who could really hold her own with these women. Jackie is the only one of these women to have a graduate degree (many don't have an education beyond high school) and came in hot with her wit and takes and had Teresa doing her stupid blinking and staring during arguments.

Jackie has gone head to head with Teresa about women's (in)ability to control their husbands, the mere mention of Joe Giudice and Teresa's time in the slammer, and a baseless analogy about Gia doing drugs which Teresa completely failed to understand. As someone who finds Teresa to be a loathsome dimwit of epic proportions who has failed upwards for her violent outbursts and idiotic tendencies, it was really refreshing to see her spar with someone like Jackie who wasn't afraid to kowtow to the self professed "Queen Bee" of New Jersey just to keep her spot on the show.

Let me see her go head to head with someone having comparable education...someone like Aviva or Eboni, formerly of RHoNY, other non-practicing attorneys. Instead Jackie takes on someone she knows fully well lacks debating skills and displays the possibility of having some kind of underlying LD issue at play.  It's easy to shoot fish in a barrel. For that matter, I'd like to see her go head to head with someone like Caroline Manzi who doesn't have a degree as far as I know but has a strong and tenacious personality.   A graduate degree means one has put in the time and effort at a school of higher education...it doesn't mean one is superior in every way to those who do not.

I have seen examples of Jackie's attitude toward the rest of the cast a number of times, particularly when she has referred to them as the Italians when speaking to her husband in a way that is probably clear to anyone who was raised in a heavily Italian-American area.  Dog whistles come in a wide variety.

I can’t keep up with all the fighting. I haven’t watched every season, but in every one I’ve seen Teresa and Joe are arguing. I’m so sick of hearing “my sister” and “my brother” said dramatically with exclamation points in the air. Enough! They don’t get along. Why don’t they accept this as a fact? My sister and I don’t see eye to eye and are at peace not communicating much at all.

Maybe it’s this; I saw a YT blogger talking about Joe and Melissa. She said Teresa’s main beef with them is they want nothing to do with her unless the cameras are rolling. She was upset that they don’t ask her to dinner or even want to see her when the show isn’t filming. My first thought was, “Ok, but do you ask them to dinner?” Whatever the case, please come up with another storyline.

Teresa’s overly-tanned face and plunging neckline in one of the THs was harsh. Not a good look! Same for Margaret’s. I wish these women would cover their breasts for a change. And Teresa seriously needs a make-under

The one dark-haired woman does seem to have the same nose job as Jennifer!

Jackie couldn’t even take on Teresa. That Evan rumor Teresa dropped affected her big time. It had much more impact that anything Jackie managed to bark at Teresa. She wasn’t a good foil at all. She’s an emotional wuss.
Im glad the new girls called her out on being creepy while gawking at them and trying to act like a snob.

First of all, Jackie was likely brought onto RHONJ by the producers to be a foil to Teresa. She and Teresa have always been at odds with their schemas of the world so there was bound to be conflict. She also took a liking to Melissa and Marge so the proverbial sand lines were drawn fairly early on. If Jackie had a difference of opinion with other, more educated women I'm certain she would have no difficulty expressing herself.

Secondly, you're conflating the two reasons I appreciate Jackie and making an erroneous conjecture. I appreciate Jackie for (1) her intelligence/higher learning which is seldom seen on these franchises and (2) her willingness and ability to verbally confront Teresa. I never claimed Jackie to be superior to Teresa on account of her academic achievements, though its clear to me who would win in a battle of wits.

Good post.  I stopped watching when Tre and Joe went to jail.  I started watching again a few years ago.  I don’t think Tre liked the idea of Joe & Melissa on the show from day one.  I still can’t get used to the gossiping, fighting with one another every week.  To boot, they get physical, pulling hair and tumbling.  Aren’t they too old for this nonsense?  I agree that Teresa’s boobs are not appealing.  Marge’s cleavage is now down to her waist.  She’s too old for that look.  I do like Delores’s dresses tho.  Cute n sassy.  She has good legs.  Melissa wears all designer.  How do they afford that?  Maybe it’s given to her.

Or maybe it's bought in Chinatown.  It's not hard to find designer knockoffs.  I'm not convinced they are all wearing the real thing.

Doesn't Jennifer have an elevator in her manse? Jesus, her clamoring up and down the stairs in that boot is ridiculous. And damn, is she working HARD to keep herself on the show or what? I've never seen anyone do linguistic gymnastics like that arguing with Margaret.

I see that quality hair extensions have not yet made their way to New Jersey. 🙄 After all of these seasons I feel like I need to quit my job and move there because I'd make a killing.

Ramona Singer, once again, fucking up everyone's shit. I would be completely livid if I had to email over 200 people and inform them the password/information needed to be changed.

Can we switch Jennifers? I prefer the new one 150%. I was cracking up as she started stress eating, poor lamb.

Dolores' new boyfriend is ... I can't put my finger on it. Did he not need subtitles for the second episode? 😂

I was mentally freaking out watching them do the mozzarella in the sun. 😳 Is that safe?
