Twelve episodes in, and Diana has given me the perfect description of how I feel about her. I am repulsed by her. And not a little as she claims to feel about Sutton, but a lot.

And am I the only one who gets Mikey vibes from Asher? Honestly he seems more like a hanger-on-er in the guise of an advisor than her boyfriend. And his input on the decorations was about as impressive as Mikey's is on Erika's clothes. That decor was boring AF. Diana needed Kathy's help, or at least Kathy's decorator.

I was confused by the whole Jamie Lee Curtis thing. So her charity is specifically for the Children's Hospital in LA, but she didn't know that the hospital was building a new building?  And honestly the stuff she was peddling for donations looked cheap. Of course the fact that Dorito loved every last thing validates my opinion, at least to me. 

And finally, caviar on a baked potato? Way to ruin a perfectly good baked potato. Yuck.

Ok, now that I’m catching up and just ripped Sutton on the thread for last week’s episode, I have to give credit where credit is due.  

She finally backed off and agreed to give Diana space - and they BOTH agreed to take a time out.  Atta girl!  Diana actually seemed to respond favorably to this wildly different approach, so hopefully that will encourage her to stick with this one.  

Come on, Sutton.  Be yourself and enjoy your real friendships.  To hell with the rest.

Only one of my cousins watches this show. She's watched all the franchises. She's been behind on this season because she's had trouble getting into it. Plus it's been a wicked season in general with all the HWs.

Although I'd say Garcelle and Crystal are doing pretty well. I like Sutton, but she needs to cut the cord with people who don't like her. Even her attempts to fix things fall flat and it's like she can't say the right thing to fix things properly. At some point, you have to figure "They don't like me. I'm investing too much energy into making them like me, and it's not worth it. Everyone doesn't have to like me, and vice versa."

I don't think Erika or Garcelle meant harm, but I was more shocked by Erika suggesting laxatives. I think a lot of people will tell someone they look thin in an effort to get them to eat. I forget, has Crystal mentioned ever getting help for her eating disorder? She's dealt with it for most of her life, so if she never has, I can see why she's really struggling. It is a very painful thing to go through, and it's hard to enjoy your life when you're obsessed with your diet and body.

And due to her connections and charitable ventures, she's at many events surrounded by lots of food. She did mention that she feels jealous when she sees others eating, and that made me sad.

I think Diana has a very pretty exterior as well. Most Housewives are beautiful, it's just a shame so many of them are strictly outer beauty. Garcelle is one who's not only gorgeous but a beautiful person.

It blows my mind that there are HWs on this season who are acting significantly worse than Sutton, but she's apparently way worse than they are.

For that matter, there have been worse people on this show since its inception (YMMV, of course). 

Sutton has stepped in plenty of shit, but she appears to be (slowly, but steadily) evolving into a better person because it seems to have clicked with her. Which is more than I can say about Erika, Kyle, Rinna, Diana, and at times, Dorit (who needs to get off the fence with the backstabbing then acting somewhat friendly a few minutes later).

I agree.  Erika came across as someone who has actually misused laxatives as a weight loss aid. It was like she was confused over why someone would have an eating disorder when there is such a remedy available to them, meanwhile  being completely ignorant that many people with eating disorders do just that and that it is a problem.  This was one of the few times that I think she might truly have been showing something of her genuine self.  

I'm going to bet that none of the ladies is going to take her to task over this like they would if the same things had been said by Sutton.

What was so great about Diana’s party? It didn’t look that fabulous to me seemed pretty basic. The only cool thing was that one drink in an ornament. I’ve been to nicer looking Christmas parties then that and I’m barely a thousandaire lol.

Diana’s husband is weird and annoying.

Kathy was acting really weird at her house.

Then Vile announcing at her lunch that they were donating $25K to a fund they named for Jamie Lee Curtis and Vile.

Among the affluent, is that considered impressive? I thought it would be much higher.

The editors and producers hate Diana as much as we do. Did you notice how many times they would cut to a quick reaction shot, fairly close-up, of Diana’s slug-tongue darting about, and then the editors would immediately cut away?

- A misstep from Garcelle complimenting Crystal on how thin she looked (she forgot C’s ED?), Crystal says something in reply (?) then Garcelle pushes her to take what she said as a compliment. Who compliments someone on how thin they are?
- A lesson from Erika on how to pass food quickly in order to lose weight? The producers and Bravo should be ashamed to air ‘tips’ like this, but we all know they have no shame, none at all.

Hey, Kathy served a baked potato for a luncheon entree so....piecemeal you would get a whole, well balanced meal.

All the decorated trees in the world would not make Diana's house look less of a some sort of an evil willian's house. 

As far as the ornament drink, so you get a glass with an ornament filled with a drink and a sprig of rosemary...you have to pour the drink out in to the glass, dispose of the ornament and sprig, seems like too much work, lol.

Crystal says she is really suffering with her body image and eating disorder but opts to wear only a shirt to Diana's party. 

Erika telling Crystal about a laxative was ridiculous, over use of a laxative can actually do a lot of damage, namely your body can forget how to trigger pooping naturally. Also, I have a feeling Crystal already knows about laxatives.

Speaking of big beefed up lips, has anyone ever seen any of the videos on youtube or tiktok of the “lip filler prank” that women are doing using eyelash glue to make it appear like they got the lip job? Some of them are absolutely hysterical. Every single wingle husband or boyfriend either bursts out laughing in their face or becomes very concerned that the lips might stay like that, some say they wont go into public with them again. Its obvious from these videos the lip plumping is not thought of as extra attractive in the eyes of the men. I guess it’s only women who are delusional enough to think it is an actual enhancement to their looks. Its a good prank using the glue, nobody figures it out until they are told what is really going on.

If Kathy had done hollowed out new potatoes with caviar, etc... with a salad or some sort of green veggie that would be more of a lunch for me.  I do think it is funny we are getting these meals that make the HW's question "is that all there is?" Sutton served just a salad with shrimp, now we have a baked potato and Diana's chicken nuggets.

Don't get me wrong, just to be clear I love a baked potato with all the toppings, especially caviar, I love a salad with grilled shrimp and chicken nuggets too.  I guess I look to these shows for a little party food porn along with houses, jewelry, clothes, etc...

What a classy and stylish dentist! I'm not going to be too hard on Dorit because I've dorked out when encountering celebrities, but then again, I don't live in Beverly Hills. Dorit's inability to be cool is kind of endearing.

The vibe between Erika and Crystal this season has been so weird. It's like Erika is trying to befriend(?) Crystal by triggering her, first about Sutton and now with her ED.
