Remember that show where the valets in LA were copying people's house keys, then looking at their registration to get their home addresses to rob. But they'd hide in the ceiling crawl space for weeks and watch the family, learn the routine, then come down from the ceiling and murder everyone. No forced entry because they had keys so there were zero clues. 

Haunted me for years. I changed how we deal with valets, etc, after that. I was so spooked.

That house though...

It's so out of proportion big that it swallowed all the furniture. All of the furniture looked to be weirdly sized because the space was so cavernous. Pretty details though. I think I liked the small touches more than the house itself.

One of my worst fears is to have a malicious person living in my house (perhaps basement or attic) without me knowing. The bigger the house...the more likely it is to happen.

It was actually an issue when the housing bubble first burst in California and squatters were sneaking into empty or abandoned foreclosed houses, which were then sold to unknowing buyers without proper inspections.

I remember the Osbornes had this state-of-the-art security system in their mansion. Then they found out their head security guard was actually helping with robberies in the neighborhood though I don't remember the exact details or how it went down.

Comparatively speaking, I always liked Heather. But she’s dropped a few notches with me. Did not miss Kelly, Brawnwyn, or Elizabeth at all. I am very happy that Kelly, Braunwyn & Elizabeth are no longer on the show.

I always wanted to see Heather's home after it was completed. The construction was a big plot line before she left the show.

Dr Jen & Noella are good addition to the show.

I would love to see Detective Meghan King Edmonds back on the show. She would uncover any scandals that the other Housewives are involved in.

The thing is, I think both Heather and Terry are authentically pretentious. Part of the reason why I can deal with Heather is because she isn't pretentious to put on a front - like someone like Vicki whose pretentiousness was all about hiding her massive insecurities and narcissism. Heather and Terry HAVE a lot of money. They truly are that rich. So I can find Heather's pretentiousness entertaining because she's faking it.

If I knew her in real life, I would find them so annoying because having lots of money =/= being a good and decent person. But as a "character" on a tv show, I just appreciate the fact that she is who she pretends to be on tv.

I’m finding the roasting of Heather for her overconsumption and pretentiousness and the “poor suffering Terry who will be doing boob jobs into his 80s to support his wife’s lifestyle” comments to be incredibly misogynistic and sexist.

Lest we forget that it was Terry who pushed Heather to be on this show in the first place and supposedly didn’t speak to her for 2 weeks until she agreed. The same Terry who was on that Swan show, Dr. 90210, and now has Botched. Why are we assuming that Heather has his balls in a vice?

Did Shannon ever have COVID? I could very well just be projecting, but I started to black out when drinking my usual amount at the club after I had it. I started taking notes in my phone so I would remember people’s names and conversations that I had. Scary shit. 
 

I do feel for Shannon. Life comes in chapters and sometimes they are hard to revisit. Heather said on WWHL that she never got a vibe that Shannon was feeling sad during the tour.

I am not sure why Elizabeth was cast on the show. She was in the midst of a difficult divorce & was unwilling or unable to discuss it. She had a home on the beach that was very close to  bike paths. Cyclists would interrupt the filming of the show while she was on her patio which overlooked the beach.

I thought it would make more sense to have Heather on the RHOBH. She is wealthy enough to afford to take a helicopter to L.A. for events. I also believe she would not be afraid to confront Erika Jayne.

Yes she was going thru a divorce that she could not talk about and grew up in a religious cult but she did not own that house on the beach it was rented for filming, she really lived in a condo around the corner over looking a marina. 

The problem with Heather being on the show is she is married, wealthy, works occasionally in a glamorous field but most of the other women are divorced or soon to be, don't have the level of wealth HW's are supposed to have. We need that old version of the show, the house porn, the shopping for jewelry, a salacious story line, something a bit more hefty than Shannon knowing someone from 20 years ago who may or may not have had and settled a law suit against Terry D.

Heather is the LVP of the show but not the MVP.

I loved the first 2 seasons of the show with Jeana being the wealthiest Housewife on the show. Her husband was a retired baseball player. Vicki had a very nice home as well & Don was an executive with Home Depot or Lowe's.

Shannon may have been wealthier than Heather Dubrow when she was married. I liked Shannon's house when she first appeared on the show.

RHOC wives on average never had the same wealth as the cast of RHOBH.

I remember one of the stupid things some of the housewives would do is pretend that they maintained their often gigantic houses by themselves. Of course, some people believed it and commented how cool it was these women kept these houses so clean and had time to be on the show.

Then we had Shannon throw a party at her house. Everyone has a good time, gets wasted, and then decides to go play in Shannon's underground basketball court (yes, her home had an underground basketball court and a hidden secret room for her daughters' tea parties). 

The first thing we see is a maid vacuuming the steps behind the guests as they were running down to the basketball court. 

I think she was the first howife that allowed the servants to be filmed. The others would not allow that to be filmed because they wanted to maintain an illusion that they "do it all". Heather was one of those that always talked about "how busy" she was all the time.

Shannon was so cool during her first season.

There was also a time that Heather got a walk-on part in some sitcom at the time. She claimed that it was because of her previous career in Hollywood. We found out that they just wanted a reality star for the press and had asked Alexis and some others as well.

She and Terry just always seemed incredibly insecure though they seemed to have it all on the surface.

Caroline Stansbury should move to California & join RHOBH or RHOC. I saw her on Million Dollar Listing LA a few years go when she was living in Dubai. I think she divorced her husband. She reminds me of Lisa VanderPump

And wasn't the house rented? Last season I believe her, Shannon, Kelly and Brownwind were all renting. Nothing wrong with it, but rich people rarely rent their primary residence, unless it is while they are having a home built (Heather, Sutton on BH). It just felt like a bunch of phonies pretending they were rich. Which, we have certainly seen before on the franchise, it just isn't something I watch for. I actually liked Vickie's home the best, and last season, to my utter amazement, I thought Tamra's house was nice and tastefully decorated (she must have hired a decorator). But, I don't want Tamra back. Could tolerate Vicki, because she cam be good TV, but rather she just stay gone. I don't have a read on the new ones yet, but the one husband apparently cannot afford shirts, so that's wierd😀

If I had to tolerate Meghan again it would only be worth it if they moved her to BH and put her on Erika's case. Now that would be worth watching.

I could care less about what is happening with Heather's kids. 

Now going in for the superficial for a moment: 

The super high, very long, thick ponytail extensions need to go, ladies. Especially if you are in  your 40's and beyond. 

Shannon's white jeans and chunky black cheap looking sandals make another appearance this season. Does she have any other clothes? She's looking puffy, her saggy jowls are back and her face is looking old. I get it, we all age but didn't she get herself a whole bunch of plastic surgery not too long ago?  She's obviously still drinking heavily. She doesn't have too much to say about John anymore. I look for that to fizzle after another year or so. Time to do something with that mop of hair, too. Oh, and older daughter has the right idea. Stay in Texas after you graduate. Away from your crazy mom. 

I have never seen such hideous wardrobe choices as the stuff new dark haired lady was wearing. Truly dreadful. She is trying so, soooo hard right out of the gate. Sex dungeon and all. 

Gina looking fabulous and making the most sense of all of them. Go figure. The one with the least amount of money is the most enjoyable to watch.

Well it looks like a blow-up is brewing between Heather and one of the new women… 

Fillers take the lines away, but you wind up with a bloated look.  Why not just age gracefully?  They think they look better, but they don’t.  Cher had beautiful lips, then ruined them.  She looked gorgeous in Moonstruck, at the Opera.

Heather was the best option for the producers to try and get back viewers that stopped watching the show. They could have also tried to bring back Vicki or Jeanna. I doubt Lauri would want to come back given her son’s  incarceration.

To me, parts of Heather's house look more like an upscale conference center.  I can appreciate the workmanship.  However, my mind goes to the effort to keep it clean.  They have to have a large staff working on this.  If you have a place that needs constant upkeep beyond normal cleaning (especially with Heather's emphasis on everything being perfect and put away), it would feel more like being in a hotel.  I can imagine housekeepers cleaning each bedroom and bathroom daily. I enjoy a good hotel experience.  Doesn't mean I would want to raise a family in one.  

I'm glad Sophie wants to stay in Texas. It's good to see the RHOC kids breaking out on their own.  Moving away and establishing your own life is a key part of growing up.  Also, being away from Shannon's many neuroses will help.  Sophie can finally breathe more freely without Shannon around.

One thing I wonder with Heather's kids is how much they understand that the way they are living is not typical?  How will they adapt to a world outside of their bubble?

I thought Heather’s bragging was annoying. I like the medley the producers did of her going on and on. I never really liked her so I’m not thrilled she’s back. I’ll take her over Braunwyn though. 

I know it’s expensive and huge but I wouldn’t want to live in Heather’s house. That is too much for me. It reminded me of a hotel. I want something that looks comfortable and like a home, not a showplace.

Apparently when trimming the episode down to an hour for the reruns, they cut out the entire house tour (with Gina's running commentary and Shannon's facial reactions) as well as Gina's reaction to the California Bar lowering the standards for Shane to pass. Yet they added "never before seen" footage from the Catching Up With The Dubrows breakfast scene. WTF? 99% of the reason people wanted to see Heather return was to see the fucking mansion. And by people I mean me. Hopefully the supersized episodes aren't a "you snooze you lose" type deal otherwise I'd have kept it on my DVR.

Shannon's white jeans and chunky black cheap looking sandals make another appearance this season. Does she have any other clothes? She's looking puffy, her saggy jowls are back and her face is looking old. I get it, we all age but didn't she get herself a whole bunch of plastic surgery not too long ago?  She's obviously still drinking heavily. She doesn't have too much to say about John anymore. I look for that to fizzle after another year or so. Time to do something with that mop of hair, too.
