What makes us think she's going to the Gorga's and not making the dinner at her own house?

I'm not going to lie, I'm curious to see what she does next. Will she get her own spinoff show or just go back to the RHONJ?

She'd be a fool not to make a play for a solo show.  Her and the girls, the hardship of being a single mother because the stupid government got all up in your business, the emotional journey of rebuilding a brand and overcoming the obstacle of being a felon (unfairly because, again, stupid government)...that would sell, imho.  And although I dislike her intensely, I think it'd probably be better than another season of the NJ housewives- that format is played out, and they're going to have a difficult time finding new cast members who would interact with her naturally instead of just getting together because they're on the same tv show.

I still can't wrap my brain around the fact Teresa is getting released this week. It feels like she just went in.

I've read somewhere that Joe won't go in until after Teresa finishes her home confinement in February (which may or may not be true).

AFAIK that's because her sentence doesn't officially end until Feb/March, and his is slated to begin after hers is done.

Since I'm sure she wouldn't be using her paycheck to pay her debts, I hope she goes away forever.

What makes us think she's going to the Gorga's and not making the dinner at her own house?

Radar On Line and some other sites are saying that Bravo cameras will be at the Gorga dinner.  Bravo is reporting that Teresa will be at the Gorga dinner (wonder if she'll complain if Melissa serves store bought sprinkle cookies this time!)

http://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/teresa-giudice-prison-release-lawyer-reveals-she-will-spend-holidays-with-daughters

Radar is reporting that she is leaving prison tomorrow and her lawyer is in CT now - she will not be going to a halfway house.

"Leonard told Radar exclusively, “I’m currently in Danbury to take Teresa home to her husband and four daughters. Definitively, Teresa Guidice will be released from DCI Danbury tomorrow, December 23, 2015.  “She is not in a halfway house, nor will she be reporting to one. She hasn’t been released from prison and that won’t happen until December 23.”

According to Radar: "The timing of her release is still up in the air, but it’s expected to take place under the cover of darkness. No matter what, Giudice, 43, will be going to extremes to avoid being photographed on her big day, even using decoy cars in an attempt to confuse photographers."

(There were rumors she might be leaving today.)

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/12/teresa-giudice-prison-release-lawyer-arrives-danbury-family-halfway-house/

"Meanwhile, Leonard also told Radar that pictures released today claiming to show Joe Giudice driving “aren’t him.”"

Under cover of night...decoy cars.  That reminds me of Days of Our Lives back in the, um, day, when Marlena and John tried to outwit Stefano with decoy planes- I believe their efforts failed.  Also, good for her.  All she has to sell is herself, really, and her children, and her first images after prison have to be carefully composed (yet casual and intimate).  I wonder if they'll be released on social media to reconnect with fans, or sold to the highest bidder for the cash.

Apparently she was released very early this morning

http://www.people.com/article/teresa-giudice-released-prison

"In the wee hours of Wednesday morning Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was quietly released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., after serving nearly a year locked up.

"She is thrilled that she is finally going home," a source close to the reality star tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Following mandatory release paperwork and procedures, Giudice was released at 5:01 a.m., but was still at the prison as of 5:30 a.m., her lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr. tells PEOPLE. "She is free," he says."

The good thing about her prison stay is that she's had time to reflect on her misdeeds and will come out contrite and unwilling to continue with the show. She will.probably do a lot of charity work and repay her debt by working with underprivileged youth. Thank goodness she had all that time to think. (Eyeroll....snort)

Forbes is reporting that cameras were banned from filmng her actual release.   Hmmmm, exclusive deal anyone?

How can she go to the Gorgas if she is on house arrest?    Work related?   Honestly, the judge should have made it a condition of her probation -- no reality tv.   Then maybe just maybe she will learned her lesson.   Because you know she is going right back to do same things, and is going to lie, cheat and steal again.   Because she "deserves it" after all the hard things she has gone through.

The State of NJ better be stocking up on bronzer!

I can tell you as a resident of Teresa's stomping ground that we (not me personally; I'm pale as hell and like it that way) are never not stocked up on bronzer! Perhaps I'll drive past their house today (why I do this periodically for fun, I have no idea--it's not like I see anything at all different from the establishing driveway shot Bravo's used thousands of times).

Maybe you'll see the LExus in the driveway with the big red bow on it.

Since Teresa has paid her debt to society, should she be cut some slack...or should the smack talk about her crimes run full throttle?

Paying her debt was the crux of the problem.  I know what you meant, but I think leeway is much easier to grant a person who acknowledges and takes responsibility for whatever they've done and is sincere in their contrition.   If I knew that the Guidices had voluntarily made a restitution agreement to the individual people affected by their fraud, one of their top priorities, I'd stop my shit talking that day.  But, from watching the specials anyway, the impression I came away with was each of them still (chooses to) looks at this as some terrible thing that happened to them, they got caught up in a situation which they weren't sophisticated enough to understand when the only concept to grasp would be 3rd grade arithmetic.  Write letters of apology to your victims (they would never have to be public);  Or when you're lying on the floor praying for your family, include a plea for forgiveness for all the other families whose lives you may have changed with your actions.   Ah, I'm speechifying girl, I don't mean to soapbox this morning and I'm not into hammering somebody for life, but I need for them to have learned something (as simple as humility) to deserve my empathy.

I'd want good coffee, a nice dinner.Time with kids. When I got out of Marine Corps Boot camp, all wanted was to shower without other people around, and to eat  some fast food. What's she doing  right now?

Yes.She's a bad person, But I'm curious

No doubt you will soon find out. My guess is Bravo started filming the second she left the gates of the prison and we will be treated to a Tre post incarceration special, lol.

She apparently ran straight out of prison into the loving arms of a brand new luxury car, documented exclusively by People magazine, to resume filming a reality show.  So- no slack from me.  As long as she offers herself and her family up like this I'll keep expressing my general disgust, understanding that by commenting/consuming I'm part of the problem, recognizing that she's hardly the worst person on the planet (for me she just represents the worst parts of our culture/justice system, and there's a catharsis in ranting about her), and admitting that I'm ultimately just jealous because I couldn't pull it off.

She wasn't a rich woman. She and Joe committed fraud, stiffed their creditors, etc. to give the illusion of riches. That's why she went to jail.

Okay, that Lexus with a bow on it is just a big middle finger to everyone. They should not be able to afford that car ... no way is BRAVO paying them enough, or will her book sales earn out for that and it looks like they never stopped living large or learned their lesson.

That being said, I have a little warm spot in my heart for her today. She went to jail and now she's back with her kids (who cares about Joe?) in time for Christmas. I'm happy for her for today.

So the fucking bitch got out early, can't wait for the arrogance to ratchet up to full steam once again...There's been no remorse, no admission of responsibility and will most certainly be no voluntary reparations...my heart goes out to all the people she stiffed and who suffered financial woes so that this nasty piece of work could live large and thumb her nose at everything good and ethical...

OK, fair enough. But she has been living a wealthy lifestyle. How did she go from that to a regimented life. I was curious when it happened to Martha Stewart too.

She's looking skinny - does that mean the cooks didn't use her Fabulicious! cookbooks, or they did???

If I can recall, her lawyer said she spent most of her time getting fit. One of her activities was running miles around the track.

Glad she's looking fabulous. Happy for her daughters they get their mother back.

Teresa also got a new ride. One can asssume this came from her new contract money or from what she got her spinoff special.

Her attorney also released a statement after he dropped her off at home

Hell no.  This one man jury thinks her sentence in terms of simple public opinion should have her horrid nasty thieving rotten ass in stocks for another several months followed by tooth brush cleaning of the toilet of every person she bilked followed by a forced teeth brushing.  Tar and feathers followed by the resurrection of a good old fashion witch trial (she's a witch I say).  I hope fate hands her every bad chance and piece of bad luck a person could get.  I hope every time she walks down the street and does her usual mouth breathing a bird shits in it. I hope every home she visits has a dog that dry humps her leg until it causes rug burn. I hope she steps in dog shit every time she talks a walk down a sidewalk .  I hope she gets lice. I hope she is surrounded in ife by blunt toddlers who laugh and point at her bobble head and say "you're ugly!"    I hope she gets stuck in an elevator for days with Yolanda Foster, Nene Leakes and Vicki Gunvalson.  I hope before she dies she realizes exactly what her ringmaster Andy Cohen thinks of her past cashing checks.  And I hope that as she tries to sell the strong martyr who overcame it comes out she offered herself in jail in exchange for privileges and was turned down.  Repeatedly.  And I hope that she has to spend the rest of her life forced to pretend to a happy marriage to the ape that will hopefully soon be dragging his knuckles past the door of the big house where he belongs.  Not the one they stole.

Well, it's not a *traditional* Italian toast, but I enjoyed it just the same.    To such an extent that in my mind I went back and added some text here:   (she's a witch, I say, a witch!).  You know for the extra bit of stink on the end.   LOVED every word!  LOL!!!

Still can't believe they get to live in that luxurious house. Yeah, it's not my style, but I'm an honest Joe who would love to have the ability to spend millions of dollars creating a home that's exactly what I like, except for the fact that I know it's not legal to make up jobs and stuff when I'm applying for mortgages.  So when are they going to downsize?

Melissa Gorga Welcomes Teresa Giudice Home from Prison as Source Says Their Families Will Spend Christmas Eve Together

That jacket on Teresa cracks me up. Looks like she bought it in the little girls department the way it fits.

Yeah, that Lexus is a big FU to every honest, hardworking person....disgusting.

Hm.  Okay, well.  I don't see the point in ranting -- this woman and her drama have no effect on my personal life whatsoever -- but, I'm glad that the girls have their mom back for the holidays.  She served her time, everyone deserves a second chance, I hope she learns from this, etc etc.

Not only is the Lexus a huge FU to everyone, it's also saying that prison is a minor inconvenience, but, they have no intention of changing. I think the Christmas Miracle is probably that Teresa served her time instead of moving to Italy to evade her sentence.

They're just effing themselves and kidding themselves with that new Lexus SUV - no one else. They're trying to make it clear that their lifestyle has not been hindered in any way. Meanwhile, Joe just had to turn over a Maserati this summer bc they still had $400k in restitution payments and while Bravo fronted them $200k in return for a tell-all, they couldn't come up with the rest so the Maserati and shore house together probably covered about $200k. Then they were slapped by a lien on their house this fall from the IRS - they owe $500k in back taxes. Not to mention the $13 million in other debt that is still with them because their bankruptcy petition was denied. Not to mention their house has been in foreclosure more than once.

Typically someone with those types of debts isn't running out to be a new luxury SUV.

They're too stupid to understand it PLUS they feel like Bravo will pay their way for the rest of their lives. Don't get me wrong -- Bravo is going to pay their way for at least 3-5 more seasons, I'd say -- as Theresa can prattle on about everything she learned in prison and how it changed her for a season or 2; then a season or 2 re how hard it is to be a single parent with Joe away "at college;" and then dragged on for another season or two with some fabricated Gorga drama. But that really only takes them to 2020. What do they intend to do in 2025 or 2035??

How is Tre going to spend Christmas Eve AT the Gorgas if she's on home confinement? According to the "Welcome Home Teresa" video in the article, it says she's on home confinement til the end of her sentence in February. Just another rule they think doesn't apply to them. She hasn't learned a thing.
