And, oh, boo-hoo, Meredith - Jen shouldn't have commented because Brooks raised the money for his show by himself, AND he's just a teenager??  Too bad, so sad - if he wants to get into the fashion industry, he (and you) better get a thicker skin - Jen's comments were tame in comparison to what kind of critiques he will be facing if that is the best he can do.

Thank you!  I rewound that several times and still couldn't make it out.  You know it is a high class franchise when both Taco Bell and 7-11 have featured in a confrontation.  

I kept thinking how disappointed Jen must have been that after all her attempts to dominate every scene she was in throughout the entire season it was Lisa who featured large in at least this segment fo the reunion.  

Mary surprised by being a whole lot more articulate and on point than expected based upon some of the stumbling, bumbling she has shown from time to time.  

Am I imagining it or did Meredith wear her dress in some of her talking head scenes? 

The brunettes aren't coming off well, didn't see that coming.  

Jen's eyebrows remind me of Colorforms.  It think it's because of the shine.  I always imagine one of her Shah Squad people peeling them off a board and sticking them on her face.

I was impressed by the ways the ladies really went at it and called things out. I thought in particular Heather's whole thing about Lisa and how she basically actively tried to portray herself as this shady queen bee and it backfired massively was interesting. If Lisa hadn't gotten such universal negative opinions, she'd be different at this reunion. I think she went into the filming thinking she was going to be some LVP/Bethenny hybrid and that did not work at all. Placing the blame on Heather for the audience not liking her and not her own behavior was wild.

That’s not true. I got a reduction and my boobs got much higher! No implants at all. I was freaking out because they were so close to my face. My mom was like- that is where boobs should be, not at your belly button!  But Whitney got implants, these people should stop lying about surgery. It is gross, tell the truth!

Lisa's dress had a lot going on with it, the sleeves could not make up their minds what style they were going to be.

Jen voiced on social media something that anyone who watched the show said, (must be a blue moon because I am defending that nut job) that one sweatsuit does not a fashion line make.  Meredith should have helped brooKS marKS with the creative end of things.  Instead of being pissed at someone who told the truth she should have agreed that his line needs a bit more work and that she was proud of making the first step.  Meredith said he saved his money to make that fashion line happen, from what, what job did he have or did Meredith give him an allowance and he managed to save enough money to order plain sweat suits from a wholesaler and have his name put on a label and sewn in?

Wow!  Lisa is taking the bitch spot from Jen.  I expected Jen to come off as the bitch of the reunion.  But Lisa is sitting right on top. Lisa uses I and me and my over and over again. It was odd the way she kept grasping at air with her hands.  I never liked Lisa so it is enjoyable for me to watch.  I wonder what happened between her and Meredith?

I don't understand why we still have to hear so much about Brooks.  When can he go away?

Lisa should have been the villainess...a meaner version of Camille Grammar. 

But Jen had to ruin the narrative.  I don't buy the act, she pulled this same thing with her husband in one scene..but as we later saw..it was an act.

I'm wondering if a lot was filmed and not shown?  Almost all the women seem to have issues with Lisa that didn't end up airing.

She could have had a lift. When I got a breast reduction, they also performed a lift, which is what made my boobs higher (not the reduction). Lifts are a pretty common standalone procedure as well. Whitney could have just gone in for a lift (hence why she said they were “higher” and not bigger) and that would have hoisted things up without any additional implants. Not sure if I’m allowed to post pictures here, but if you Google breast lift and before/after, you’ll see how much a lift can change your appearance.

Lisa is a pretentious bitch. Whitney showed more intelligence at this reunion than she did all season when she clearly explained that Lisa isn't jealous of her but thinks she's better than her. Lisa obviously feels superior to everyone. She shouldn't but she does. 

Jen is pathetic and does nothing but deflect. I'm over her. She's really too self-absorbed to notice or care how her behavior affects others. She's currently incapable of any kind of personal growth. 

Heather really knows how to read people. Jen is taking her frustration with her husband and grief over her father out on everyone around her. I have a lot of sympathy for what Jen went through, but she needs to get to therapy and take it up with the right people (Sharif). There's no good time to deal with feeling abandoned during grief. Grief is a large enough hole to navigate alone without any added trauma on top of it. 

Heather also broke my heart when she stated that Jen was looking to "trade up" to Lisa and Meredith. How shitty that you'd have to feel your friend was ready to dump you to hang out with women seen as prettier and skinnier. That sucks, and Jen's actions and words did nothing to alleviate that fear.

I don't think Jen owes anyone an apology for accidently flashing her hoo-ha and not knowing Meredith's kids saw it, but she shouldn't have said a word about Meredith's son unless she expected blowback. Trying to gloss over it was kind of ridiculous. 

Lisa is very dismissive and she made little digs at Heather and Whitney all season. Pretending Heather is the one with the issue doesn't track with what I watched. She also went hard at Jen but, faced with the reality that Meredith might be too boring to bring back, now she's sucking up to Jen. Ugh. 

Mary is like that weird quiet kid in the back of the class who never talks but, when she does, says something astute. Jen IS triggered by Mary's name, Heather DOES deserve a two-way friendship, and Brooks' sweat suits all had different angles of white stripes on them... I also think she's the only who knows how to diffuse Lisa. She doesn't give her a second thought or the time of day. Lisa gets off on the annoyance she sparks in others; Mary won't give her the satisfaction.

Agreed. I was kind of liking her last night but I also can't forget the weirdness/crookedness? that is her church. When Lisa mentioned it as an example of where Mary put people down, Mary jumped all over her and the church discussion was shut down. But we did see her being pretty harsh with her choir and congregants. Perhaps that's all okay with everyone, but given that they seem to worship her? Harsh words coming form her are even worse for them, I'd guess. 

And I really wonder where the money she spends is coming from. On WWHL Andy was asking her things about her closet (which she has said over and over is full of high fashion items). He asked her if she had a bag in the closet that had cost more than $10,000 and she said yes. If I'm a member of her church I'd be seriously questioning where the money is coming from to pay for all of that. Perhaps her husband has money? I can't really get a sense.

I thought this was one of the more honest/straightforward reunions we've seen in a while. Whitney made great points that were transparent. Mary was coherent. Heather was on it. Meredith, though she didn't speak much, had fair points. Even Jen was mostly okay (though previews suggest that won't last). Only Lisa came across as almost wholly fake/putting on a performance (especially the "I live for my kids" attempts to cry). 

I look forward to next week - and that's not something I've said about any of the other recent reunions, many of which I gave up after one episode.

Quick impressions: Positives and Negatives

Heather:  + Came to play!       - the dress needed a lower neckline, seemed heavy.

Whitney: + made a great point about Lisa acting superior.      - gorgeous dress overshadowed by gigantic breast implants (she may have forgotten that she went up a size or 3 when she had her lift)

Meredith: + her hair looks great.     - her dress is ghastly and she thinks Brooks is still a child.

Jen: + she was right about the one track suit not being a clothing line and she hasn't exploded yet     - her apology to Heather is too little, too late.

Lisa: + her comeback at Mary about belittling her church members.       - her jealousy of Heather being a fan favorite and feeling that Heather is responsible for everyone's reaction to Lisa's behavior and her fake-tanned hands.

Mary: + left her closet and actually knows a little about what is going on.       - shuts down the conversation about her church

I think this was the best point that she made and where I have issues with Heather. I like her for the most part but I can't stand how she grovels to Jenn and begs for her friendship when Jenn treats her like garbage in return.

Totally separate thought: Watching this shitshow makes it clear to me that this cast isn't cohesive and each of them would work better on another franchise.

Lisa: NJ (she'd be Melissa's new suck-up / sidekick)

Meredith: NYC (she'd be disengaging from Ramona every episode)

Jen: BH (total lunacy for no reason and excessive contouring; she'd butt heads with Erika Jayne a lot and annoy Kyle)

Heather: I think she'd do really well in the weirdness of the OC. I think she'd befriend Shannon quickly but not take her shit and she'd shut down crazies like Brown Wind. Plus I see her being a great comfort to Elizabeth. And if all the OC ladies get the boot, Heather could carry that city. 

Whitney: Get her down to Miami for the reboot! We need a young hottie if Joanna Krupa isn't coming back.

Mary: I'd pay good money to see how Kenya and Cynthia would welcome her in Atlanta. Something tells me Porsha would eat her for breakfast.

I guess they will address Whitney's wild birthday party for her husband where there was nobody his age there,  Whitney's vow renewal where she twirled around a pole, her father and her father's hair.

Heather should unpack her need to have her ex husband's approval even though she spouts the "I am an independant woman, look how much I have accomplished since the divorce." Speaking of her ex, did he looked like production found a guy living under an underpass, put a suit on him and drove him to Heather's house and pushed him inside.

Meredith's marriage go round has got to be talked about, I am not buying the together not together story.  Why is she not promoting her jewelry? It is beautiful and it is a real business, she chose a few pieces to wear to the reunion which are not seen on camera, a ring and bracelets, she should have worn one of her necklaces.  Maybe she can introduce us to her son brooKS, lol.

Jen, oh god. There is way too much to unpack without a trained mental health specialist seated near her.

Mary, so she had a normal moment, we all saw it.

I hope the husbands join in, I would love to hear what Coach Shah tries to snow us with, my prediction is he will say anything to keep the peace with his nut job wife.  

Maybe Valter could stop by the reunion and just sit in the background with his scowl or is that his smile?

Right? I was surprised to hear not only does she she actually have a job, but it's super niche, tech focused, and that she's at the top of her field. I don't think she mentioned work once all season.

Meredith was a bit too much when she was pissed at Jen for making comments because "he's a child!".  He's her child, sure, but the guy is 21, not a child.  The way she said it made it seem like Jen was coming for a 6 year old.  If Brooks wants to play Housewife, he needs to be able to take the heat.  Plus, Jen's statement that his "collection" was the same tracksuit several times was true.  It wasn't even enough to fill a portfolio to audition for Project Runway.

Lisa was such a mostly non-event on the show, so the focus on her for the episode seemed out of balance.  I really don't know what her Taco Bell story was about--around here, you can only do drive-thru or delivery anyway, and I seriously doubt the folks at the drive-thru window would have given two shits if she pulled up to get her tacos.  Plus, you know her husband gets her food--she's too consumed with loving things, asking to touch things, and Sundaaaahhnce.
