I get what everyone is saying about how awful the comment was but there simply isn’t any rule that says I have to be offended by what she said. I just wasn’t. I haven’t defended her on this exchange and I said many posts above that it was off color and inappropriate. My indifference seems to be offensive. So be it 🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughter and her husband are trying to get pregnant and might have to go the IVF route...I can only imagine how she would feel if some older woman, who has a daughter herself, made a sarcastic jab like that to her...the inablilty to become pregnant is a very emotional and depressing fact for a lot of women and Dorinda showed how little she cared about someone else's struggle in this regard. If Tinsley was my daughter I would be all Mama Bear on her ass after this exchange and would have let her know in no uncertain terms that what she said was offensive to me as well as my daughter and all women struggling to concieve. She's just trash.

My cardiologist prescribed them for me as my feet swell in the summer.  I don’t like them so I don’t take them.  They Cause anxiety in my chest, and I hate that feeling.

My feet are currently so swollen they look like monstrous root vegetables and my doc, though concerned, is cautious about me using water pills because, as diuretics, they can lower your electrolytes if you're not careful. I can't imagine drinking heavily while using them. And while wearing such high heels! Talk about heading for a fall - see "Sonja." Presumably none of these women have my complications but DAMN are they cavalier about stuff like this.

Why, after the Season 11 incident in Miami, did they not muzzle Dorinda’s abusive behavior? Bravo made a business decision to film and air the escalation. In my world, this would not have been tolerated, someone would lose their job, and/or lawyers would be talking.

I think that is an example of Bravo's double standard.  In RHOA, they got rid of Phaedra, I believe, because of a lie she told about Kandi and her husband and what they would do to Porsha.  But it's okay for Dorinda to verbally abusive Tinsley so much that production were concerned for Tinsley's safety, and Dorinda comes back the next season?  Something is rotten there.

Maybe it's really about social media and who has more followers.  If Dorinda had more followers last season, Bravo didn't want to risk that.  Now Leah has a lot of followers, so they can dump Dorinda.

And Dorinda can't decide if she is a crip or a blood!  'Yo D, you so gangsta!

Dorinda's belief that she's some kind of gangster that can go about threatening people with impunity is the most infuriating thing to me about her. She's made these kinds of threat before - for instance, to Ramona, when Dorinda acted SO. BADLY. at Ramona's event helping abuse victims - and I always think it is so ridiculous.

I have to agree that it is really difficult to understand why they continued to allow Dorinda to remain on the show if they were afraid that she would physically harm Tinsley. I mean, IMO, it's been pretty clear for a long time that Dorinda has an abusive personality but concern over someone's safety takes it to another level. If you think one cast-mate is going to hurt another cast-mate, it shouldn't be up to that second cast-mate to manage the relationship. The first cast-mate should be gone.

Re the "turkey baster" comment - I'm not sure why there is even a debate here about whether or not people here find it offensive.  The point is that Tinsley found it offensive and meant to be insulting, and it's her perspective here that matters, not people at this board's opinion.

Season 11 Miami, production believes Tinsley’s safety is in such jeapordy from Dorinda that they remove and escort Tinsley to another location. Yet, filming proceeds. Tinsley stays on the show with Dorinda’s continued harassment.

Season 12 begins with both Tinsley and Dorinda. Dorinda’s abuse towards Tinsley is amped up, leading me to believe she has been stewing and ruminating about Tinsley for months. Tinsley leaves the show mid-season and Dorinda continues to be triggered by the mention of her name.

While this is remarkably interesting as a character study of a “Dorinda”, as a manager in today’s society, I am very curious about the business decision to allow the escalating verbal abuse to continue.

Why, after the Season 11 incident in Miami, did they not muzzle Dorinda’s abusive behavior? Bravo made a business decision to film and air the escalation. In my world, this would not have been tolerated, someone would lose their job, and/or lawyers would be talking.

Bravo clearly lets things get out of control for ratings. All the franchises have had their fair share of angry exchanges, fights, alcohol infused chaos, etc...they allow and fuel it with well stocked pantries and fridges of alcohol and probably instigation on the part of producers who whisper in the cast members ears about what another cast said about them. The more fighting the better must be the motto for Bravo head honchos.

The clothes and hair:  They all wore black!

Tinsley - GORGEOUS as always.  Her gown is to die for and she looks fabulous in it.

Ramona - liked her hair, looked nicely slim in that dress.

Leah - kind of disappointed that she re-wore that outfit from Ramona's birthday party, and no surprises with her hair.  She wore it the same style she almost always does which looks super good on her.

Sonja - hair was nondescript and the dress reminded me of the Star Trek logo blown up and bedazzled.  Not impressed.

Dorinda - hair looked the way I expected, same pave-sequins style as usual.  The dress looked great.  I just hate her, though so moving on.

Luann - love her hair that style, she looked her same classic chic, loved the sparkly straps on her dress.  Was it Jovani??

Driving Andy out of his mind at the start was one of my favorite moments (he deserves it).  It was a little frustrating that the reunion focused way too much on Leah.  Dorinda as usual had to start harassing from the beginning, and it was obvious she had decided to make Ramona the target for her venom.  After thinking about it, I believe it's possible that Dorinda kept the gloves off Tinsley because she was told to lay off her.

I'm glad Ramona just sat there mirroring Dorinda's schtick, whatever she was doing, hand clapping, putting on a phony voice, whatever it took to let Dorinda know she wasn't getting under her skin.  I loved Ramona's "Go to church!" in response to Dorinda saying Ramona had called Leah a whore.

With the question about Dorinda's drinking, I wasn't surprised she would rather criticize and insult Ramona than address it.  And when is Dorinda ever NOT going through a lot?  She goes through so much more than everyone else does in their lives, right?  So she's earned the right to be an asshole whenever she feels bad.  She sounded like a mob hitman threatening to ice someone in that phone conversation with John.  Now that I think about it, Dorinda ALWAYS talks like a mob hitman.  Gawd what did John ever see in her?

Sonja just sucks balls.  She wasn't sloppy drunk, it was because of a diuretic?  Puh-lease!!  I doubt anyone watching was stupid enough to buy that story.  She was showing off her face and neck lift, but I think she wasted her money.  Sitting next to Tinsley and Lu, Sonja still looks rough.  Then Sonja tried mightily to pretend to be supportive of Tinsley on camera while still staying true to her buddy Dorinda in disdaining Tinsley and her relationship.  Nice going, Sonja -- you're such a bitch.

We hardly got a look at Tinsley's ring -- was it pear shape or oval?  I tried to stop the recording, but just could not get a good look.  I applauded when Tinsley refused to give Dorinda a scintilla of her focus when she was explaining leaving NY for Chicago and Scott's feelings about the show.  She also showed the ultimate in class by saying "my friend Dorinda" when Martin asked who she was having trouble with.  I was happy that Ramona and Lu both said they'd quit the show for marriage.

MOST IRONIC STATEMENT IN PART 1 OF THE REUNION:  Dorinda saying:  "I don't know if Tinsley has the ability to open up and be honest."  It would be funny if it wasn't so twisted.

Dorinda Just posted a short video to her Instagram. She is lying by her pool at BlueStone Manor with some man and she is singing into the camera along to a song about “I love you”. She is laughing and honestly looks a bit high.

Too bad they didn't air it.  I think Dorinda was SO pissed at John because she was afraid that, since Scott was Tinsley's boyfriend and Tinsley was on the show too, that the loan might end up as part of the show and the facade of John being a successful businessman would be exposed, which would mean that Dorinda would be exposed too.  I think that's why she was so pissed.

Interesting that Bravo would worry about Tinsley's safety after Dorinda's rant.  I mean Dorinda is a fiftysomething year old drunk, maybe Bravo knows something I don't.

I thought Tinsley said Scott gave John money not loaned.  That sounds like Scott was suckered into investing money into a new business venture John cooked up. And based on John’s bankruptcy, it appears Scott lost his complete investment.   I wonder how much Scott put up?

I’m still puzzled about Dorindas comment that Tinsly  is going to Chicago Without financial security.... Tinsly has her own money and Scott seems to be financially secure enough to have loaned John money. What was that dig about?

Since the only one pissed off about the money is Dorinda it’s entirely possible that Scott is fine with what went down and no one was ripped off.

Exactly.  Leah acting all holier-than-thou towards (yes, dingbat) Ramona.

John Krasinski was doing his "One Good Thing" videos during quarantine, often joking around with his wife, Emily Blunt.  I thought it was heartwarming and such a nice treat during a dark time.  Should we shame John Krasinski & Emily Blunt because they were being too lighthearted?  Or, as our VP said, enjoy the fact that they were trying to point out the good that is out there, in all the darkness.

I think Ramona was just posting silly videos for her followers to see Ramona being Ramona.  Period.  There's no great social-shaming reason.

Not comparable. It was more about Ramona prancing around in public without a mask, going to parties without a mask or social distancing, posing with friends in social settings without masks.  Ramona risked lives at the beginning of the pandemic because she couldn’t stop drinking and socializing and partying like she was a college student.

I've only read the past two pages of comments on this episode, and apparently everyone is ready to be all over Dorinda... but to me the most horrific person was and is Ramona. she is just... so full of herself. She really sees herself as in a different league than all the others and is just, in general, a horrible, self absorbed person. I just can't with Ramona. And I wish there were more comments on her awfulness.

I think Ramona gets away with it because she is 85% clueless in what she’s saying . Dorinda from her first breath is very focused and calculated with her nastiness and it’s very much mean and vicious on purpose

I don't think Ramona should get away from being so awful to just everyone. I'm just really amazed at the number of pages devoted to pointing out how awful Dorinda is, but not Ramona. If they got rid of her, I would enjoy the show so much more (but then again, I was/am a Bethany fan and I know hardly anyone else in here liked her at all.)

I agree, Ramona is just a whole different animal, she is very emotionally immature/stunted.  I personally wouldn't want either of them in my life, but Dorinda seems smarter and that she should know better.

I definitely see your point.. it’s just dorinda attacking Tinsly is like hulk hogan body slamming Bambi... her whole intent is to destroy Tinsly to lay her bare and remind her she’s nothing and it’s nasty because Tinsly has done nothing to deserve it... Ramona opens her mouth and it’s just verbal diarrhea and can be brushed off .. I think to it comes down to more intent ... is Ramona horrible yes but this season Dorinda was just vile and it over shadowed her because of the intent

I really don't think it is any deeper than an insight into Dorinda's own insecurities. Really and truly, she's all about deflection and projection. Anything that makes her feel bad about herself, she projects onto someone else - so when the conversation turned to her drinking, she deflected it onto Ramona. And when the conversation became about Tinsley, Dorinda bleated out the thing that makes her feel most insecure, her financial status. It really says nothing about Tinsley because as far as we all know, Tinsley is mostly financially secure - with or without the show.

I don't think that Ramona came off particularly well in part one of the reunion - while I think her social media at home during the pandemic is fine, I do think that her blithely ignoring public health advice because those weren't the rules in Florida makes her look bad. But IMO, no, she's not the "most horrific person" because that title will always belong to Dorinda and her abusive, narcissistic behavior.  Ramona can be ridiculous and she isn't always the most self-aware human being. But she is ten thousand times more self-aware about herself - and her sometimes ridiculous behavior - than Dorinda. Dorinda cannot stand the slightest criticism and will immediately hit below the belt and never apologizes with any sincerity. She's a monstrous human being, and I'm glad someone like that isn't in my life.

Well, the difference is that no one has ever said that production had to move them to another location because they feared that Ramona would hurt another cast mate. When it gets to the point that production is fearful of a cast member's safety because of another cast member's behavior, it's reasonable for us to be discussing how awful that cast member is.

Dorinda screaming on the phone at John:

He's not your friend.

So when I say to you,

'Don't do something',

You better fucking well (?) listen."

To "Run game" means you are doing shady schemes and deals. You have a Hidden Agenda and can't be trusted. She is implying he was doing something dishonest. He used his connection to Doorida to get something from Scott. And he did it "behind her back" - without her acknowledgement or approval makes it shadier. It could have been a legitimate business transaction - However, we are getting this through her demented view. It felt like charity (GASP!) to have Tinsley's Boo give them (because John belonged to her in her head) cash.

Another way "running game" is used - is when a man is trying to get a women in bed. (Can apply to anyone but traditionally was applied to men in pursuit.) Basically they approaching the other person with that Agenda in mind, so most of what they are saying can't be trusted as fact. It was all to achieve that goal.

This little fact confirms that she is like the Godfather to these people. She has put fear in these ladies.  Sonya just goes wherever the Gravy Train goes and won't jeopardize it continuing, Lou actually had some shame about her drinking troubles that Dorinda could exploit. Leah is fawned over by D - so no incentive to see anything wrong.

It took Ramon of all people to open that door and now poor Tinsley to come and kickbox it down! I think Ramona, unlike the others, is untouchable than the others - has her own money and connections (through her 60 girlfriends LOL).

edit: because Running Game is not gender-specific lol.

I agree.  She’s full of shit about her life too.  She claims to constantly be dating but in five years she’s the only housewife not to have had anyone steady, at least for awhile.  No big deal except she has said she wants to find a partner.  She’s waiting for that billionaire to come along and sweep her off her feet and it’s not going to happen no matter how many face lifts and how much fake hair she has.

I might get why Dorinda would be upset with John if he went behind her back and received money from Scott, after she told him not to, if she were his business partner, or if they were married...but, even still, why take it out on Tinsley? Shouldn't her anger have been directed at John? And, if that's how she treated Tinsley because of this, what has poor John had to endure? And why did he look so upset, like he was heartbroken, at her birthday party? He can't possibly enjoy the verbal abuse?

imo, for all the perks that come with being an acquaintance of Dorinda, the outbursts and abuse (even if not directed at me) would not be worth it.

I agree Romona is awful but on the scale of puppies to dragons, Dorinda is up there with the dragons. Ramona is annoying as hell but production has never had to move a cast member because they were worried about their safety because of her. That puts Dorinda in a class by herself.

Ramona is like an annoying mosquito in search of a fly swatter. I honestly can't think of anyone who has been as vile as Dorinda.

I don't understand how on the one hand Leah can claim to be a friend of Tinsley's and on the other hand be okay with how Dorinda is treating her.  No thanks.  Couldn't be me.

And I totally agree that Ramona is the worst of all of them because she risked literal lives to party and travel.  That's sickening.

I hesitate to say this because I like Tinsley, but I have a feeling she and Scott won’t make it to the wedding. He’s been so wishy washy with her. I don’t think he’s as into her as she is him, but I’m just speculating. I hope I’m wrong. I also hope she can get pregnant as she really seems to want a baby.

Tinsley is attractive but I didn’t really like her look at the reunion. The severe pulled-back hair emphasized the big fake eyelashes and her overly-tweaked nose, and not in a good way IMO.

Why aren't Scott and Tinsley married by now?  What are they waiting for? COVID to clear up so they can have a dream wedding? Why don't they just JP it and have a celebration when it's safe to do so (whenever that is)? She's 45. How old do they want to be as new parents?

??  Many people have postponed their weddings because of COVID, no matter what their wealth or lack thereof.  It's completely normal and safe and considerate to do so.

Jeff Goldblum had a kid at 63, and I never hear anyone insult him for it.  Janet Jackson and Lucy Liu and Gabrielle Union became parents at 50 who cares that's their personal business?  That's not for me to criticize.

Dorinda wants to play it both ways.  On one hand, she wants to be the "Grand Dame," the way she acted at Leah's party, ("What are these people wearing?") Obviously she didn't get the memo of the type of party it was.  On the other hand, she wants to act like a wannabe thug.

Tinsley said in the above clip that production was concerned for her safety.  I wonder what Dorinda did or said to her to make production feel that way, I also wonder if they have footage showing Dorinda threatening Tinsley.  😧

I loathe Ramona. It's her blithe disregard for other people that makes me hate her. She's a complete narcissist.

I too question the longevity of Tinsley's relationship with Scott. I also think it's transactional. I think Scott is into control, as are many people with success and money.

A family member takes diuretics for BP, and another for inner ear syndrome. Neither drinks, but both can take only half-dosages because the medication causes dizziness.

Lu appears to have pulled her life together. Maybe she's a nicer person when she's sober, because over time she has behaved like a complete ass while drinking.

I don't think one can look at a reality show job the same way one looks at a "real" job.  I said this before, Dorinda may have had many Instagram and Twitter followers so that's why her behavior was allowed to continue.  On a "real" job it doesn't matter how many followers in social media a person has.

I remember when it first came out that Dorinda was out, I saw a lot of comments on Instagram and YouTube saying Dorinda was the only "real" one out of all of them, "how could they fire her" etc.  So, that's probably why she came back for season 12.

There was a clip and they did show it! This woman is certifiable.

“I believe half of what I hear in life and all of what I see,” indeed...

Didn’t the HWs used to watch the clips at the same time as the audience?

That quote was very rehearsed.

I wouldn’t trust a drunk.  They are not in their right mind.  Didn’t she stab herself with a knife and draw blood when arguing with someone at a table?

Since I never heard of "running game" and don't know what it means, I hope I haven't been doing it inadvertently for years.  Now I'm worried.

This reminds me of an episode of "The Office".  They hire an ex-convict who was in jail for insider trading.

And then Kevin the accountant says this:

It also reminds me of the movie "Office Space".  The main characters want to do money laundering, but they have no idea how to do it so they look up what it is in the dictionary.

I read the comments here before I was able to watch the show. What a bore it was, up until the last 5 minutes.

I don't think Sonja looks good, at all. Her neck area looks better as her double chin is gone, but the rest of her face looks drawn and pinched.

Leah looked ridiculous in her outfit. And she really lost me when they showed her SM video,, berating Ramona for being in Florida with her family. WTF? I think Leah was jealous that not only was Ramona in a spacious home, but she was isolating with her ex and daughter. I am sure Leah was jealous because she was not isolating with Rob. And as someone else posted, I don't think Rob was jealous at all a the scene of Leah and the bartender.

I really hope they show more unseen clips before and after Dorinda's out of control call to John. I wonder why Bravo kept this a secret, for more than a season? Dorinda will have been let off way too easy if it is just dropped. It's great that Dorinda is gone, but I want to see her go down in flames in front of my eyes. And in front of Tinsley's too.

A few have mentioned Heather here. I have never liked Heather, and am not surprised that it seems she is taking Dorinda's side for shallow reasons. I always found her to be shallow and unlikable, so the comments here about her appearance on WWHL just cements my opinion.

I hope the next two episodes are better than the first, as most of the first was just padding IMO.

I get it now.  Thanks .. good post.

So a string of thoughts:

Have always said - when dressing for reunions, don’t worry about what you look like standing up.  Make sure it looks good sitting down.  Every reunion I see, the dresses are gorgeous but look awful, seated.

Next:  we now know why Dorinda has been canned.  Way too many violations of civility and ethics, she just cannot be trusted around anyone in her current mental state.  She deserves to be unemployed from the show and alone and separated from John.  He needs to stay away from her for his own good.  I don’t care what her IG says - anyone seeing how Dorinda has behaved on film, and now knowing far worse behavior ended up on the cutting room floor, she is a dangerous and toxic person in need of a lot of therapy to get a grip on her life.  I cannot imagine what D’s daughter must be feeling (or what she experienced that we don’t know about).  I say it again:  Dorinda is a dangerous and toxic person and should be shunned until she gets help.

Next:  Leah and Brandi????  Don’t give Brandi that much credit.  For all her flaws, Leah has much more on the ball than Brandi will ever have.  Much, much more.  Brandi is a zero next to Leah and nothing will change that.

Next:  Tinsley.  I think she will be just fine.  Scott didn’t want the show because he saw the toxicity of the environment for Tinsley and convinced her to get the heck out.  Dorinda is seeing the wonderful story unfolding and is wishing for Richard to be back so she could have her wonderful life again.  D’s anger is misdirected.  D’s jealousy and sadness is overwhelming her, along with the other life stresses she may be dealing with.  Tinsley is going to get her happy ending and be away from all of the women, who honestly disrespected her and failed to support her at every turn.  Tinsley should shake the dust from her sandals, turn her face toward Chicago and never look back.

Bring on part 2.

I don't really have strong feelings either way about Heather.  There were things I liked and disliked about her.  The dislike mostly stemmed from her acting like she was above it all, even though she exploited her participation to further other interests, just as most have done.
