Didn't they 'mmmm' online all the time too? 7 years of "mmmmmm." $100,000 of "mmmmm" I say "ewwwww" BGL is a vile human being. She is crass and the ugly inside is showing on the outside. Kid May 18, 2020 Share May 18, 2020 Ash and Avery - he’s a lier, Avery, move on! Loved his ex-wife. Erika and Stephanie - don’t care. Tom and Darcy - don’t care. Geoffrey and Varya - Varya, Varya, Varya!! You seemed so smart, so accomplished. Lovely family. Say it isn’t so!! Has to be producer driven. And why would the other woman accept being second choice?? He must have quite the dick. Because the appeal is definitely not his sparkling personality! Yolanda - I was on your side. Came to the conclusion that you are either very stupid or a con artist. Usman and the demon from hell - she is VILE. Dave and Lana - yeah, I believe this fantasy. Ed and Rose - the crocodile tears do not impress me. I am no fan of Rosemarie but I dislike him even more. No, Ed, you were not following your heart. You were following little Ed. 5 Link to comment

poeticlicensed May 18, 2020 Share May 18, 2020 So everyone this season turned out to be horrible, or at least made horrible matches. Here's my take along with if they (or one) shoudl get a season 2 Geoffrey and Varya - producer hijinks for sure. Varya must really want to come to the US to put up with ole tattoo nips. I never saw any interest on her part. Maybe she thinks she might be able to get a gig in the US based on her experience with the show and get a H1 visa out of it. I hope Varya gets to stay, that was her goal anyway, and at least she would be away from the bad man. I could watch Varya for another season as long as it is without Geoffrey. Be gone bad man David and "Lana" - the lies streaming out of her mouth about being shy and just deciding on a whim to register with an agency, how she got paid nothing, and on and on. David's pics in fancy rented cars made me LOL, as did his Matrix coat, which probably stinks and Lana said she didn't like it. He's delusional, she's a user, they are a match made in heaven. Hopefully she comes to the US, he tells her that they are going RVing for the rest of their lives and she gets outta town and takes his money with her., TBTW, I still think its a toupee, even on 20 year old pics. Guessing he went bald young and has been wearing a rug for decades. This is one couple I want to see get a season 2 cuz it will be a massive train wreck. Rose and Ed - he's a horrible person, she needs to go home and forget him. No season 2 for Ed please Ash and Avery - Avery, go home, this guy is pathological in his lies and mistruths. No season 2 for either of you BGL and Usman - clearly the only reason Usman is willing to be abused is to get to teh USA, he's pretty up front about it. No other reason for him to put up with that. BGL is a bad person. I want to slap her. As much as I don't like BGL, season 2 might be worth watching. Yolanda and ? - her 3 day stint in an AirBnb replaying her catfishing experince is boring AF. No season 2 for you. Erica and Stephanie - Erica needs to waive bye bye and block Steph. She was in Austrailia for two weeks and it seemed like 2 years. So done with her. Do not give Steph another season. Darcey needs to grow the F up and get off my TV for a while. I think she has run her storyline as far as it will go and she keeps bringing thirsty losers to the show, so sorry Darcey, no season whatever for you. Or give her a spin off that I won't watch, like the Family Chantal. So in the end, David and Lana win the season. LOL 4 11 Link to comment

AZChristian May 18, 2020 Share May 18, 2020 I could almost feel comfortable with the divorce decree being e-mailed if it went from a York, Pennsylvania government e-mail address to the marriage certificate government e-mail address in Nigeria. But not straight to BGL, who would then print it out and carry it to the Nigerian office. Or even faxed from York to Nigeria government offices. But it should NOT go through BGL's hands. 2 4 Link to comment

What was the point of putting her on the show? Every week it's been "I've never seen him on cam but I believe him." Then her kids telling her she's being catfished. "Oh I don't think so." And on and on and on. More evidence she is being a blind fool that she chooses to ignore. It makes me crazy to see such desperate women. Ash is going to wind up the winner here. Avery will visit every now and again and he'll bang everything that walks while she's gone. She's another fool. I was disappointed in her as I thought she had a backbone. What to say about Lisa other than what everyone else has said. Such a vile, disgusting pig. This is the price Usman is willing to pay to get the US though so I don't feel bad for him. He needs to really call her bluff. He stands up to her which is good but he should say, "You have 50 mens waiting for you? Then go." More fun would be if he channeled Darcy: "YOU NEVER LOVED ME! GET OUT OF MY LIFE." When she goes on about his faults again he can just say, "Work on yourself, babe." Was glad to see Ed hurt. It's hard to say that because it sucks to be hurt but Ed needed a punch in the gut because that is the way he made Rose feel, repeatedly. He's a gross pig and a loser and deserved to be kicked to the curb. Hopefully Rose blocked him and does not engage with him again. I don't care about Erika and Stephanie. It's like the Yolanda thing: every week the same thing repeats itself over and over and nothing is accomplished or moves forward. Not interested! See ya! I didn't buy for one minute that Lisa could call and get a divorce decree emailed. An emailed document would have no raised seal of the clerk or any manner of authentication attached to it. Not to mention she could be anyone on the phone. If they wanted to be a little more authentic, couldn't she have called home and told someone to go through her papers, find the decree, and scan it to her via email? An agency of any type is not going to do that. Oh, and I nearly vomited at all the loud kissy face shit they did while still on the phone. Gross. At the very least ash will be banging Sian with reckless abandon. I don't buy that they didn't divorce in a decade because no one had the time. First, I don't know what community property laws are in Australia, but not for one minute would I want to be financially tied to someone like ash unless forced.....better to get divorced so you're not liable for his bankruptcies and poor financial decisions. Second, Sian seems like a really nice and normal woman. If she wasn't into ash, I would think she'd want a divorce so she could move on and start dating, with the freedom to marry if she wants. These are two reasons that I suspect Sian is still really into ash, and therefore he will be able to hit her up for a romp anytime. As for Avery, her plan is dumb and she is really pretty. If she looked like BGL I could maybe see that working. But I think she is going to meet someone local, who is less work and she is going to bounce. Ash has her dickmatized, and when she is away from the dick it's going to be much more difficult for him to keep her in line. 6 Link to comment

I have a GF who is extremely smart, contemplative, confident...yet she started online dating and there were at least 3 that she had the future talks with before ever meeting them in person. I mean, one of them she said she wasn't going to be an uninvolved stepmother to his kids. He had already told the kids about her. To her credit, in 2 of the 3, she broke it off with them after their first date b/c of course in person they turned out much different than she had anticipated (one was drunk before she showed up). Varya showing up like she did, super excited to see her "Prince" and to win him back, tells me she more than likely was talking about a future with him in those messages before meeting him. She seems to only have been contemplative about him and his major issues while he was there and then went back to fantasy land. Edited May 18, 2020 by sasha206 1 1 Link to comment

Prior to a couple years ago, the idea of meeting women on a dating app would have been pretty much a non-starter for me. I've always been thin - but over the past few years I've gained a few pounds. I'm still thin, but no longer "skinny." I have no vices. Non-smoker, social drinker, no drugs, no meds of any sort. Also, I write well...which made it easy for me to get past the first few messages where a lot of guys maybe get filtered out because they say something stupid. So, I got some good pics of myself (after doing a bit of research on what sorts of pics might work best) - and honestly, even though I'm not in a big city I had success right off the bat. I met probably a dozen women over a year or so, and I'd say 4 of them had "real potential" - meaning both parties were into each other even after meeting. Frankly the whole experience was a pretty big ego boost for me. Here's the thing though - probably 10 of the 12 cases had a really fantastic text message preamble before the first date. Based on the week to 2 weeks of chat that occurred prior to setting a date there really seemed to be a great connection. But 6 out of those 10 upon meeting pretty much just fizzled immediately. All that great build-up just went up in smoke. And in every case, even the one that "stuck", the initial meeting was at least a little awkward and uncomfortable. You just don't really know anything until you actually meet. Although, the one that worked was very close to that. It was pretty magical from chat to reality and that intitial awkwardness didn't last long...so it can actually work peeps! lol... Edited May 18, 2020 by Zevious Zoquis 2 15 Link to comment

Showing up at a former lover's house AFTER they have told you they are moving on and UNannounced and uninvited is just plain crazy, that's why I think it's staged by the producers and likely all parties were in on it. No way, she would have approached those dogs, without being told it was safe. Plus, for two weeks, she'd have had more luggage. Nothing about it rings true to me, but, if it is true, it's creepy and unacceptable. Shame on TLC for promoting it. It's also REALLY hard for Russians to get tourist visas and, when they do, it can take months. I think Sharp brought her over on a temporary work visa. We used to bring Russian workers over here on them all the time when I worked at the resort. They're inexpensive for a company like that, incredibly easy to get, and the whole thing can be processed in a few weeks. You can get one that's only good for a short amount of time, it's not a permanent one that allows them to stay here for good. 4 4 Link to comment

But not straight to BGL, who would then print it out and carry it to the Nigerian office. Or even faxed from York to Nigeria government offices. But it should NOT go through BGL's hands. I am sorry if I am not letting this divorce decree/faxing thing go, but as someone in education where we use only initials, send everything through US mail (no IEP's during home delivery of materials of times of COVID) and things need to be mailed to us, I am having issues with what is being presented: Could someone call up the courts here, say they are me and get my divorce decree faxed to them? 1 Link to comment

All Geoffrey had to complain about was his hurt pride that Varya second guessed their relationship something that could become less hurtful given some time and perspective. They were a couple who were throwing the words love and soul mates around quite liberally-well too liberally maybe-so for Varya to attempt a grand romantic gesture is in keeping with their storyline. She thinks she just has to prove her certainty to Geoffrey she doesn’t yet see he’s just a self-centered child determined to get his own way. 5 Link to comment

Yep. I think those online "dating" services purchase or hire models to take photos that populate the website. Guessing she is a model (or some rendition of that) and is being paid to play a riole that she had no part of for the past 7 years. If she is 28, then that means she was 21 and looking for love. If the person on the other side of the screen was communicating for SEVEN years, you would think that she would have been pushing for years to meet up, not running away every time David arrived. 3 Link to comment

Adeejay May 18, 2020 Share May 18, 2020 Lisa is a nasty, miserable woman. “Pam” was not being difficult; she was doing her job. On the bright side, Usman seems to realize that this is what he will be subjected to for however long. Ed obviously thought that Rose would be waiting with open arms to accept his apology. The look on his face when he realized that she was gone was priceless. I believe TLC was responsible for Varya’s uninvited trip to Knoxville. Clearly, production knew that Mary was going to be there at that appointed hour and arranged the confrontation. 12 Link to comment

When my husband died, I was encouraged to buy more death certificates -- and I did. I think I purchased 10 copies of it; can't remember the cost. I think there were only a couple of times where I used the official printed out version of his death certificate, and in each case, a copy was made and the death certificate given back! Scanned versions worked for nearly all of the beneficiary items. I'm sure funeral homes know this now, but it was a way for them to make more $$ off me! And my mom, who does't understand technology, also encouraged me to make sure I had printed out versions so I didn't question the need when the funeral home sold them to me. 1 Link to comment
