I feel like I say this every day. This is part of Meghan's narcissism. She really does think Democratic candidates should have to work to get her vote.  She has made it abundantly clear she is anti-choice so that right there is going to disqualify every Democratic candidate.  She just wants to be pandered to.  She wants to be thought of as a swing voter so people will pay attention to her and ask her opinions.

She said just a week ago that she WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!

I guess that leaves out Uncle Joe, too?

I think the real reason McCain went nuts last Friday and this morning over Joy defending Bloomberg in some way or another is really just rage over Biden. She must sense that if people on the Left like Joy and/or Whoopi are promoting Bloomberg, it must spell bad news for her "Uncle Joe." I think I said months and months ago with the way the show was combatting every little thing said about Biden incessantly, with McCain leading the charge (and no doubt pushing the show to cover those topics), that if Joe Biden were to do badly, she would have a mental breakdown. And that's what we're watching now.

Personally, I'm going to enjoy every minute of her hopes going down the tubes. Couldn't happen to a better person.

I have a feeling that Joy is trying incite MeAgain -- and it is easy to do.  Today she said the only Repub that was worth anything was Romney and that the rest of them are "trash".  MeAgain looked like her head might explode.

Whoopi was having none of MeAgain's shit today but she did it in a lighter way than usual, which threw MeAgain off.

I think that it occurs to her and many of us that “Uncle Joe is movin’ kinda slow at the junction”.  He’s a nice guy and would probably get chewed and spit out. And he seems distracted.   The dems need a street fighter.

I think Meghan is against Bloomberg because he support a a gun responsable agenda. And Nutmeg loves her guns.Bloomberg has outspend the NRA more than 30  million.

Also Bloomberh wanted to control the size of fast food.... and Meg loves fast food.

Folks - every post where people posted their personal political opinions has been removed. As has been stated here many times - do not use discussion on the show as a jumping off point to political discussion here on the forums. Your opinions of political candidates and/or discussions of their viability are not allowed here. Let's stick to the show. Warnings will be issued for continued discussion that violates these rules.

I cringe my way through watching and listening to Whoopi act like she ever has anything of substance to add to important discussions because most of the time, she doesn't.  She's there for the pay cheque and opens up her yap every once in a while and let's a bunch of random words fall out interspersed with some 'you knows' and 'here's the things' to justify the pay, I suppose.  But we all know she doesn't really care about half the things they talk about and doesn't even act like she wants to be there most of the time.  I find her apathy really annoying on days like this.

Don’t forget she has to say “poop” every day, and talk like a valley girl while mocking every subject that doesn’t interest her.

Everyone was shilling for Bloomberg and she disagreed. Joy asked her who will she vote for them and Meghan said that it wasn't her damn business. Joy pushed on this question by asking if she'll vote Trump or Bloomberg and Meghan yelled that it wasn't her business and she won't vote for Trump or Bloomberg. Joy then said "So you won't vote."

Meghan looked bad here, but Joy did too since she's pushing hard for Bloomberg right now.

I don't think she's pushing hard for him, just saying that if he is the candidate, he has some good points, to not just dismiss him.

Her statement that Stacey Abrams being Bloomberg's vp would make everything A-OK was hardly doing Stacey Abrams any favors.

I agree completely. I was angry when I heard Sunny say that on the show today. Don't just define Stacey because of her race, Sunny.

I was angry that after showing that Bloomberg clip today, where he made racist comments about black men between the ages of 16-25, Joy and Whoopie gave him a total pass. Whoopi stating that we all "step in it," time to time. So they have now discussed on the show his stop and frisk policy, the NDA's for the women in his business, and this racist clip, and Joy's only response is well he's not as bad as Trump! I agreed with Meghan's comment that these things should be looked at and discussed so voters can learn more about who he is.

I am so tired of her doing her 'Valley Girl' impression (it was barely funny in the 1980s when she first introduced it). Maybe it's time for a Latina impression from Whoopi - let's see if Sunny would find that amusing ?

Meghan occasionally has good points. It's just that she's so much more frequently nasty. Joy doesn't deserve it. When will the PTB do something? I'm so over Joy being treated like she's the one being hostile to Meghan. She deserves so much more respect.

Wait, what!?

First, Michelle Obama messed with the school lunch program. As a teacher, I went from buying school cafeteria lunch two or three times a week to NEVER buying school lunch after the Obama changes. And now, Bloomberg is messing with my fast food. STOP!

Would that be a whatabout-ism ?

I find it disconcerting that Sunny, Whoopie and Sunny are giving Bloomberg a pass on his racist policies that marginalized young men of color. Racism should not be tolerated or excused whether it is from the left or the right.  I agreed with Megan saying that Bloomberg's past is fair game and will be used against him.

Messy was just nasty and rude, What the hell is wrong with her? I don't know why the ladies even bother with her.  Something in her is broken because she is just lashing out....

Agreed. Racism is unacceptable, but Meghan is still so rude. One step forward, two steps back.

I wish I knew what her problem is. She seemed seriously convinced Joy was attacking her or something. I’m not a therapist so I don’t know if it’s something that can be treated or she’s just a bitch.

I think Joy is very smart but I feel that she is failing to express herself clearly lately. Joy's point on today's show was that Bloomberg is clearly a better choice than Trump, as he has publicly expressed regret for past racist policies, while Trump has never apologized and is still as racist as ever.

I think Joy sees Meghan's phony selective outrage against Bloomberg as an attempt to weaken support for the moderate in race. She did it to Buttigieg too right in his face when she said something to the effect of "you lost me" over his abortion stance. She clearly wants Bernie to win the primary so that she can spend the rest of the election year saying that democrats are socialists.  Don't be fooled by her, she claims to hate Trump but she attacks every candidate but him. She seems to be doing all she can to get him re-elected and Joy sees right through it.

This is true but it's like saying Bloomberg is the lesser of two evils when there happen to be choices that aren't evil.

I believe this too. She will be absolutely unbearable if Bernie is the nominee.  On the other hand if Bernie were to win in November her head will explode.  Which I have to admit would be fun to watch.

I've noticed this lately with her and with Bill Maher. I write it off to extreme anger, frustration and just general hatred of the whole Trump presidency and what it's done. Joy seems unfocused and is really pissed off all the time but that could also be due to having to share a desk with the shrieking, spoiled ten year old ace political PUNDIT.

Well, someone thinks vey highly of herself. NO. You're really not on most people's radar, sweetie.

For once, WG was pretty articulate, measured and forceful in her defense of the women who came before. I thought it was well done.

Meghan complaining about the hate she gets from 'Bernie Bros' (which to be honest it comes from everyone. She brings it on herself) to AOC who gets hate from Republicans and some Dems like no other. She got death threats and had a gunman put her on a list. A list that he tried to execute. Shut up Meghan.

Meghan never blasts her side for it, in fact she relishes in her hate. So I don't get the double standard.

OK - so I know I am older than MeAgain by almost 10 years, but I knew who Michael Milken was in my teens and definitely in any type of ethics/law class.  They restructured some of the insider trading/junk bond laws around what he and others of his "time" did during the 80s/early 90s.    In order to prep for the show the blond "I'm smart and always right" one should've at least googled him and what he did - it was pretty famous at the time

OK - just done with first segment.

Sunny? PLEASE!!!! You've gotta drop the whole stop and frisk thing! This is getting really tedious - as tedious as Mags suddenly acting like the show's moderator.

The last ten minutes of this show are useless. They're either putting on their version of the shopping channel or they're just back to back commercials.

Oh that’s why they were let go? I had no problem with any of them because they were all so much more polite.

If Meghan behaves the way she does to keep her job, not with it imo. She has plenty of family money. She gets so worked up each day, why keep the job? Just to have a job? Because she’s “been in politics all her life,” and selflessly wants to share her expertise? She seems miserable, and most of the audience doesn’t care for her because she’s so rude.

Think about it - those women were very passive at the table. Sure they would speak out every now and then, but quickly back down (actually Jed was the only one who spoke out - the others just sat there). MM is not passive at all - just the opposite! She's very aggressive to the others and that makes for good television.  And for the record, Abby was a very passive republican (and so is Anna).  I don't agree with her ever (or hardly ever) but you have to hand it to her - MM is doing the job she's being paid to do. And the ratings show it.
