She will do anything to destroy that friendship. When Lily Galechi was on for a season, Reza was friendly with her. She was jealous of the friendship between Reza and Asa as well. Then she was jealous of Adam. It never ends with her. In fact, MJ has some deep, deep issues with her love for Reza and knowing she can never have him because he's gay. It's pretty obvious. And it's sick. She is disgusting. I wonder how long her marriage is going to last with that loose cannon Tommy.

2.  Sara's father dying when she was so young explains the R. Kelly relationship and why her brother looks like he's been in and out of rehab his entire life.

I was just about to binge watch as much of Shahs as I could find when I made the decision to first catch up on the pieces I missed of this season. Haven't yet seen the final episode, but the rest is the biggest turn off ever. I never cared for Rezass, but he has turned into the nastiest scuzbag imaginable. MJ does run a close 3rd ( I give Adam and Mike a tie for 2nd worst), but other than doing some shit stirring, I can't recall any truly reprehensible thing she has done - and I was never a fan of hers from the start. I've seen some video of Tommy throwing stuff around at Rezass's house, but there must be more to it than that to justify Adam claiming to be in fear for his life (echoed by Reza in that fake 'supportive' tone he uses) or to have it classified as a felony. Then again, I'm not a lawyer, have no knowledge of various legal matters other than what I see here.

Adam's refusal to have MJ at their home (where one could reasonable expect there to be filming of the 'whole' cast for any variety of social gatherings) is a very transparent ploy to deprive MJ of both camera time and (I presume) income which is totally nasty. I believe he is seeking to increase his status on the show by forcing her out.

As far as I'm concerned, both Adam and Rezass need to be gone. Ditto for Mike. I'd like to see Shervin become a full cast member (if he isn't already - I haven't really kept up on who is what). Shervin seems to have some awareness, but too much exposure to Mike could turn him into the same kind of bullying chauvinist as Mike.

Nema is usually harmlessly ridiculous, but I did NOT like the way he called Rezass over to tell MJ about not dropping the restraining order - that was NOT his place. Especially after Rezass made such a big deal out of MJ not telling him something that was really not hers to tell - If Ali made the claim of Adam sending offensive sexts, Ali should have been the one to tell Rezass. Since Rezass is so very concerned about full disclosure, he should have told MJ about it himself, immediately.

So, with just Shervin and Nema left, they need a new, interesting guy on the scene.

I'd love to see the series revamped with emphasis on GG's and MJ's parenting adventures and their support systems (would be a nice counterpoint between Vida/Tommy and GG's parents/sister) which would also add more folks to the mix and perhaps make the Persian/Iranian culture more prominent. I believe it was that way in the early seasons, which I loved, but that part deteriorated to almost nothing recently. Watching Karma made me acutely aware of that fact. I've seen growth in GG over the years (hated her in S1) and who knows what motherhood will truly do for MJ - I'd like to see more.

More time to Nema and Mona, and maybe one or both of their parents (if they are willing).

I wouldn't even mind an occasional cameo with Asa - she was rather ridiculous, but was also very much into cultural expression, which is one of the things I find most captivating about shows like Shahs and Karma and Mexican (which I wish was still around, even though it seemed to flounder a bit as to what it wanted to be).

Anyhow, I'll try to find the last episode of Shahs, just to see if there was any hint of redemption for anyone, but if they don't make some seriously thoughtful changes, I'm done with this one too. If I want to see a bunch of drunken, oversexed asses making pathetic idiots of themselves, I could waste my time on OC BH NJ NY ATL - but I'm not THAT bored or desperate.

So, what I thought was just another smarmy episode was the finale, and today I watched the 5/1 WWHL with  rezass/adam and MJ/Tommy...and MJ/Tommy definitely came across as the more honest of the two....If I had never seen rezass/adam before I would have thought they were absolute choirboys from the way they portrayed themselves.  MJ/Tommy, however were loud, impetuous, unfiltered and MUCH MORE HONEST to me. I really wish Tommy could dial it down A LOT, but he certainly makes no effort to appear as anything else than who he really is....and to me he/MJ are much more believable. A reference was made to a reunion, so I'll try to catch that, but given that I am dealing with two sets of liars, MJ/Tommy came across as the least dishonest of the two couples. Maybe, just maybe, it's because I've been exposed to rezass's duplicitous behavior since the beginning, and Tommy is a relative newbie who just can't stop running his mouth....but somehow I find him more believable....and I don't even like him.

This reunion really didn’t need to happen.  I feel like nothing happened in season eight and there was nothing to hash out.  A lot of inside baseball about stuff that happened off camera that I don’t care about.  GG cropped Nema out of a bunch of cast pictures and posted them on social media like six months ago?  Riveting.

I don’t believe Mike that he doesn’t want to have a big wedding with Paulina.  If they make it down the aisle, it will be huge.

GG looks so bad, like aggressively bad, between the polka dots and the metallic makeup on her inner eyes.  I don’t believe that she waited four or five days to smoke pot since having the baby, and I will never believe she stopped taking cannabis during her pregnancy. 

Destiney and MJ looked significantly better at the reunion than the season.  Neither will ever be mistaken for a beauty.  MJ became distinctly unsober at about the halfway point.  Mike looks like he’s about 100 years old.  

They wouldn’t get off the plane and the police had to come?  That sounds aggressive.  I’ve been kicked off a plane, and it would never even occur to me to argue with the staff.  When you book a plane ticket, you agree to comply with the airline’s instructions.  If they wanted to sue after the fact, or trash the airline to the press, cool, but I can’t imagine forcing the airline to call the police.  Other people have places to be too. 

I hate Adam.  I can’t prove it, but I think he was the catalyst for all the negative drama that went on this season up to the point that Tommy trashed Reza’s plants, and then that shit was on Tommy.

This could have very easily been a one-part reunion.  All of this shit has already been hashed out on the show and rehashed on WWHL.  Bravo is just afraid to have a one-part reunion anymore, because all the shows have multiple part reunions, so a one-part reunion would look like an admission that the show is lacking content.  Plus, they need to fill two Sundays until they can air an incredibly stale Real Housewives of Potomac. I see you, Bravo.

Damn, the one thing on which I would have wanted to get the tea—the contract dispute—got completely glossed over.  

No Tommy this week or next?  That’s also disappointing.  He’s so unstable, but I was looking forward to him disclosing details of Reza’s bankruptcy and trying to justify his criminal behavior.  I don’t think MJ wanted him there.  Too much of a liability.

Man, I remember this show used to have exceptionally good reunions back in the day.  This was a snooze.  We can belabor Nema’s oddly white teeth for 20 minutes, but shed no new light on anything interesting?  Not fabulous.

I am skeptical of their airplane tale o' woe. Yeah, if you're asked to leave the plan and refuse, that's on you, not "racism". BTW, it's been awhile, but wasn't this kerfuffle resolved a long time ago, possibly before this season had aired? Something like the plane had overbooked and had already given their seats to someone else and they refused to sit elsewhere?

Bottom line: This reunion was too little, too late. I had either forgotten about the topics or had long since ceased to care about them.

I'm sure Mike was a total ass-hat when someone wouldn't get out of 'his' seat.  Which I agree is irritating but he probably wasn't nice about it at all so i'm not surprised he refused to leave. But I'm not sure most people would also be like "oh i dont' have a seat? oh ok, i'll leave!" and be totally fine about it. I think most people would raise a stink while they were on the plane because people rarely leave themselves any wiggle room in the event their get delayed to their destination.

Why does GG dislike Nema so much? Actually it seems like none of them like Nema. He is the only likeable one to me! And for the record, his teeth look fine to me. Ugh, next week we get to see Mike, the appointed voice of reason trying to mend MJ and Reza's broken relationship. The tears will flow and the "I love you's" will flow. I don't think Tommy and Adam will be too happy if they reconcile. 

So all gay men send dick pics and porn pics to their friends and Adam asks Andy if he agree's and Andy said yes, he does it, too. So that makes what Adam did ok. Then why are they all still having this argument?

All of these "original" cast members are guilty of back stabbing each other, stirring up $hit, starting rumors, trying to cause jealousy, blaming others, accusing others. 

GG has been one of the biggest POS's on this shitshow. There was a time IIRC, when GG didnt even get along with her own sister. And here we are, still having to listen to GG whine about having RA. I'm sure RA is painful but so is CANCER and CHEMO. I'm so over GG and her bullshit. She should write a book...The 20 Faces of GG.

She's the 21st century "Sybil".  And reproducing like shes got some fabulous genetics to pass on to her unfortunate kid(s). GG and Mike are perfect for each other. They just need to be neutered.

This is probably an UO but.....GG is high as a kite all day every day with a baby to take care of? Sorry, I know Pot is legal in California and all that blah, blah. I worry for this baby. Marijuana still dulls the senses and reflexes and I would think she would cool it a little bit. She needs it for her RA pain but it sounds to me like she takes advantage of the medicinal purpose of her using it. 

With that said, I wish I lived in a state that would legalize it because I wouldn't mind partaking once in a while. But I'm not GG, I have sense and would use it wisely.

Maybe her mom is raising the baby. I hope so.  Tired of GG being baked all the time.  Agree that Nema is the only decent one on the show. The others probably dislike him because he makes them seem even more trashier. Except they are all trashy except him.

There are so many beautiful, classy, successful Persians, especially in LA. And they cast this bunch. I don’t get it, and neither do any of my Persian friends. Some of them refuse to watch the show. I never associated Italian Americans with Jersey Shore. Hopefully everyone who isn’t Persian nor knows many Persians will get that they cast a bunch of crazy people for a shit show. 

The only one I like is Nema. He’s a nice guy, very cute, and his teeth look good to me! Oh and yes he is part of the show GG. I personally believe it would be every bit as successful without you on it. I much prefer they get rid of you and keep Nema.
