Well Timberwolves are doing their best to make Magog's dream come true, but the refs are trying to bring the Wolves down. Example: a Sun flattens a Wolf--no foul called. KAT is standing still with his hands behind his back--a foul is called on him.

On this point, I'm on Steffy's side. I'm thoroughly annoyed that Deacon was/is in 'love' with Sheila. Uggghh is all I have to say for that alleged relationship. I don't care one bit about Sheila. I don't care about her damn toes. I want the character to just be legit dead. And I want Deacon to get with practically anyone other than Sheila. This version of Ridge is the worst. I will never understand why the show sticks with this recast. You can't tell me there aren't any other actors available ... ones with actual charm and charisma.

They were so going to pick that one! Good for them, sorry for your loss, but that was some budget for a second home. It’s either going to be their primary or wtf is in Ft. Lauderdale. Maybe being on the bay will be better come hurricane season. I don’t know much about Florida (and that’s fine by me). The husband’s adopting David’s “boop” was a surprise.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention enough in earlier seasons, but I was a little shocked by Matthew's mother in the board scene. Didn't Matthew's father have to sell her tiara (the one that Trixie wanted to wear for the wedding)? In the board scene she put all the blame on Matthew, ignoring the previous mismanagement.

I generally like Tucker and Audra as individuals, but I really dislike them as a couple. They seem isolated from the rest of the cast, and all they do is have sex. Audra clearly doesn’t want to get married, and Tucker would drop her like a hot rock if Ashley was well and wanted him back. Speaking of Ashley, what in the blue dilly fuck am I watching unfold here? It’s like she and Traci were on two different shows. Traci was acting like a real person while Ashley was performing in a campy comedy sketch. The scenes with Ashley’s alters bickering against the backdrop of a Philadelphia cream cheese commercial are painful, and there’s something off putting about the homicidal maniac handcuffed to the bed. I think it might be the homicidal mania. Lily and Buttbiscuit were certainly more tolerable than Nick and Phyllis were yesterday. Woof. This show has lowered my standards to rock bottom.

I'm always down for people being mad at the electric companies. I really like that they are focusing on the "inmate firefighter" issue more again. I also like that they stopped assassinating Eve's character and building Manny up at her expense. It balanced out with the reminder of Manny's imperfection and Eve's abilities in this episode. I forgot that Luke was the Chief now. I wound up being okay with how things went with Gen. It's true that Bode is always glomming onto someone else to build himself up. I think he hasn't fully dealt with being blamed for his sister's death. And Cara only really "chose Bode" because she thought he was Gen's biodad. So having the kid go with Jake actually is the chosen family story after all. No comment on Vince's trembling hand. It looked like a really bad burn he had, so having it heal overnight seemed a lot like Sharon's miraculous lack of kidney disease even when she needed a transplant desperately, and her total lack of issues after receiving one. The protesters, media, and generally fucked up nature of that entire situation was one of the more realistic things this show has done. Convenient that a crisis happened right then, to flip the script. I predict the locals now want to get 3 Rock re-opened, and will change the minds of TPTB. What was Gabriella doing in the house while Jake and Gen were playing jenga? Why was Gab there instead of with her fiance?

Reminds me of some Eastern European in-laws who had their own ideas about how much I should be cooking for them (as the wife) after working 10 hour days while they sat around by the pool or the beach all day. They would be totally offended if I suggested take out or a simple fast meal like a stir fry, and they expected the dinner table to be completely set with good china and candles, etc. I got over their disdain real quick for the sake of my sanity.

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes...then the ending happened. Which only heightens my own fears that, heading into S8, S.W.A.T. has made a giant mess of things that it may not be able to recover from. If this was the final season, Deacon leaving at the end of the episode would have simply been heartbreaking. It may also still be frustrating, since Deacon leaving so abruptly makes the character look bad, but, in a final season scenario, it wouldn't be worth too much getting worked up about because there's only a few more episodes to slog through anyway. In this, new, situation...I can't help but feel with Luca, Street and now Deacon leaving that the show is falling apart. (There was also no Hicks or Nichelle today too, which only adds to the frustration) At this stage, it's almost imperative that, at least, one of those three scheduled to leave don't actually leave. It's also imperative that S.W.A.T. hires another lead character that can shoulder the load- even if one of the old guard returns- because the quality of the acting has declined too much and S.W.A.T. really needs something to freshen it up if it wants a longer run past S8. Some positive signs did come from this episode- Alfaro and Powell looked like they may have some actual chemistry, though I hope they keep those two platonic. We don't need Stris 2.0. As for the actual case itself, it was nice that the show gave another nod to what was supposed to be the hook for the show- Hondo having to juggle his role with the badge with his ties to the street. The show is at its best when it leans into the struggle Hondo has with trying to convince a cynical and leery community that it really can trust the police, because the show has done a brilliant job showing how Herculean that task really is. Hondo must feel that no matter how many steps forward he takes, he's also always taking two steps back. Two military vets who team up and take on the gangs to avenge their fallen daughter is a great way to highlight that, and, as much as you see the pain in the father's face that no one seemed to care about his daughter, you could also see the pain written all over Hondo's face, frustrated that many of the things he still fights against still happens, regardless of everything he does to make things better. It's this kind of wider but personal conflicts that the show has been missing. This was the first case that truly felt like it had some meaning, and the show really needs to have more cases like this. Plus, creating cases that leave a personal mark with SWAT members is an easy way to develop those characters since we get an insight into those characters. Three more episodes for this season, folks.

I do feel sorry for the sniper guy getting killed given he had lost his daughter, but killing the people he felt responsible was wrong and his last actions of shooting just anyone to get Hondo to give him the gang leader was especially wrong The ending scene was pretty effective

Well, that's where the drama is going to come from, isn't it? When he left it sounded like he could never return because he needed constant care from the Shi'ar. Now it seems like he was completely healed and is healthy enough to return without additional treatment, but hasn't because he wants to stay with Lilandra. Even worse, apparently he hasn't bothered sending the team any updates, so as far as they know he's still a sick old man.

But the human agents don't monitor everybody with their magic computers. So the Santi would need to deem it suspicious and show them first.

just now While I was starting to fall asleep during all the singing and dancing, I realized...this is not a good season. I don't hate it but I'm bored by it. It's the same damn city with just a different name painted on the WELCOME TO sign every week and it's the same damn winners. Ricky and Cesar can go pound sand. I'm tired of their glibness as they steamroll their way through the race with an unfair advantage and the stupid dressing alike schtick is annoying. I don't like them at all. The only two segments worth a salt were the Plazalapalooza search and Amber and Vinnie running around looking for their car like that old episode of SEINFELD where the gang can't find the car in the mall parking garage. During Amber's talking heads I could swear I could see a seething hatred for Vinnie in her eyes. My bad for automatically assuming that Leticia spoke Spanish. I was very surprised to hear she didn't. Anyway, not much more to say except I hope this isn't the first season for any new viewers as it fails to represent TAR at its finest. This season is so far away from those Emmy wins that it feels like it taking place in an alternate universe and this is a TAR knockoff that can't afford to leave a single local.

Is it OK with you, OTC, if I give a shite? I wish using sexist language was a chargeable crime, then JG could write an episode in which TGVN is cuffed and dragged off to jail by the police. Just my way of saying that I am sick-and-tired of TGVNs constant use of it.

Tuned into Stagecoach on Amazon tonight and immediately saw Kyle in her Kemosabe hat hugging Elle King. But it was brief, so that was good.

It's 4^9, which is 262.144 possible solutions. It's less than "at least half", since the middle tile would throw that off. But let's say it is half, that still leaves us 131.072 possible solutions. That is only true if you already have the tile below correct. Sure only those tiles can be paired with each other, but where do they go? They could still be in a bunch of rotations. Again, 262.144 possible solutions. Now I'm not saying this is impossible to solve, obviously. Just that it is a lot more complicated than it looks at first glance. She needs to stop with the extensions. She takes shitty care of them and eventually they will damage her real hair. Her hairstylist must hate her. There were some that I liked more than others this season, but I don't think any of them were "bad" people. I think they all had flaws, as do we all, and those flaws were magnified by the bad matching and the stress of being married at first sight and filmed all the time.

Well, there was a bit with Victoria and Cole and a stuffed doll and maybe something being hidden in the stuffed doll, as I recall.

One of the issues I have with this show is one that goes all the way back to TOS, and that’s the captain going on away missions. Oh…that planet, or wormhole, or whatever, is full of unknown dangers, let’s send the captain! Makes no sense! At least Kirk brought expendable red shirts along with him, but Burnham just goes alone with Book into a pulsating wormhole type thing. Rayner was right; the captain belongs on the bridge, but then how could Michael save the day? I kind of like the shiny green Breen faces. Did we always know about the two face thing? Oh, so each puzzle piece teaches a moral lesson…gag!

I just got done watching Alyssa's latest video. She's clearly reading the comments about never taking the girls anywhere. They went on a park playdate to meet friends. The girls were so over the top with excitement, you'd swear they got paroled early from San Quentin. Alyssa and John are going away on their anniversary trip. She's keeping the location secret to make her audience watch the next video, but she mentions they'll be hiking and it's supposed to be rainy every day. I'm thinking Pacific Northwest? She explains the kids will be split up because it's hard to find one person who can watch all five at once. Allie and Lexi had their bags packed a week in advance, and all four girls (even Maci) are chomping at the bit by the front door, anxious to leave. Apparently they can't wait to get away from their parents as much as their parents can't wait to get away from them! Alyssa tries to explain it away by saying the girls like staying at other peoples' houses because "their dreams come true" i.e., they get whatever they want. I wonder if they like it because they actually get attention and treated like individuals rather than background characters in The World Of Rhett. There's an agonizingly long scene of Alyssa and John packing and droning on about nothing, then mercifully the video ends. We'll have to wait until next week to see which amazing location John and Alyssa manage to make look boring!

As a franchise NCIS is looking like CSI with each new spinoff lasting fewer seasons than its predecessor. With Agent Hanna's NCIS Elite promised for the finale I can't help but think of an improving Star Trek Enterprise having its finale taken over as a bonus TNG episode. What I don't get is another half or full season of Sydney unless the Australians are picking up much of the cost
