I want Evelyn to use and abuse Cory and break him like a twig and send him home with nothing. Too harsh?

She has told him more than once that she doesn't want to get married and she doesn't want kids. She wants money and doesn't mind asking for it.  Yet, he persists with the marriage and kids talk.  He is so clueless.  I used to think she was horrible. But she is honest with him and he is kind of wimpy and annoying.

MTE. He went down there to propose, the dummy. But like someone else said, I think it's all fake for exposure for their little bar.

Sumit's tall, handsome friend called it: Jenny is as needy as a newborn baby. She's been there a month and can't even get from A to B by herself. Why the hell would someone like her move to India in the first place? Stay at home, shop at your local Target, never leave your zip code.

I don't really care about the gambler and the bad mom. Someone spoiled their present situation for me, so now IDGAF. Same for Paul and Karine.

Laura and Alladin are the most interesting to me. They sounded like a real, honest couple when they were arguing in the car. Why couldn't she find a nice guy in the States, though? I like her.

Hey Laura? Guess what? It’s a little bit too late to start pumping the brakes because—in case you hadn’t noticed—you are already legally married to Aladdin.

Also, is it legal to run into the street wearing nothing but a nightie in Qatar?

Would the US have any way of knowing about a Qatar marriage? Couldn't she just go home and operate as a single person?

Poll hiding out in Careening's hometown down the Amazon...um, Careenings father is a retired cop. He would surely be obligated to report Poll's presence. And even if Poll didn't fess up, Dad would have to wonder why they came back there. I got the distinct impression that Dad was thrilled to eject her into someone else's budget. Now he's stuck with three of 'em! Seems like a darn nice man, too.

Maybe she had to provide that kind of information on a visa?  In any case, I think her Tunisian love rat will let the government ( Canadian or American) know because he’s going to want a piece of her retirement money and assert his claim to any of her assets when she dies.

I think the visa thing is probably it but possibly the other, too, although I doubt Qatar would give a fig. Poor Laura really is an idiot. If I were she, I'd jet home and change my name...also I think she's Canadian, now that I think about it. Laura, hun, this is a culture that amputates women's clitori...whatever makes you think he wants to stimulate it?

Set Karine free, pay some child support and go back home.

No way he can ever make money. He's so hapless he'll gator-flop into the jaws of a croc and that'll be that. On the Amazon, on the piranas hear you scream when someone pushes you off a boat. Her parents seem grateful she's back home, will take care of her, and they're just counting the days. Of course Dad (cop) will turn him in. There is a police dept right there in that town.

Jenny, stop being so childish and needy. You are quite capable of managing on your own.

I'd be SO DELIGHTED to explore India on my own, with Sumit to fall back on when he returns. I bet TLC agrees to expense the return trip home or it would be embarrassing...small price to avoid even worse PR. There are phrase books, translators (cheap ones that aren't cell phones few would steal), hold up your fingers for how much? Worked for me many times. I think there's some truth to Sumit's story, but not much. I think his parents would be much more distressed about the age difference than cultural chasms or race/religion. They want grandchildren.

Even though Jenny is needy, I don't blame her for not wanting to travel around town by herself. There have been several instances of women being groped when in the country on The Amazing Race. One time, the teams had to travel a path with a bunch of balloons and the locals kept popping them along with grabbing the women's breasts and butts. They ended up just allowing everyone to move on with however many balloons they had because it wasn't safe to make them do it again. There was a full production team and security with them and it didn't stop anything.

In one of the earlier seasons, the teams had to travel by train to the next location and the women were rubbed against and had the breasts groped. The actually changed the travel plans for the next day for safety reasons.

So....Some Meat won't ever be able to work???

how long is that $6,000.00 gonna hold out if he can't leave to go to a job?

Is Jenny 60 or 16?

She could try.....but it could come out at any time and then??? If she started another relationship (back home) and wanted to get married...she could be put in a real mess since this is on TV. Real Brainiacs....the lot of them.

And....if you want to introduce *toys* into the bedroom, perhaps don't try it on your first of second night there.

Ronald: “I’m taking my recovery very seriously.”

Puleeez.

He’s doing the active listening thing and just telling everyone what they want to hear. My heart breaks for Tiffany’s mom and sister. I think he’s got some serious psychological issues, maybe bipolar. I sense a simmering rage and it makes me scared for Daniel.

I think Jenny is afraid Summit is never coming back.  Could you blame him?

Poor Laura is looking for "love" in all the wrong places. The ability to "rock the world" of a middle aged American woman takes willingness and know how.  Aladdin doesn't have the skill set. Also, he is not willing to try.  Laura, go home and find a decent guy at your experience level. Get him a Viagra prescription, and get a vibrator to finish the job, if necessary.  You will be so much happier long term.

Are the producers going to have something gross or gory shoved in Cory's face every week so they can get his repulsed reaction and Evelyn chiding him for being disrespectful?  The whole thing is so staged.  Why don't they just make him fry up some tarantulas next week or something.

Tiffany -- heavens, that girl is a wide load! Although the cold-shoulder peplum top would not flatter even the thinnest girl, maybe it is the best look for her. My heart goes out to her; she's obese, has a kid, is on her own with few skills. But she's got a lot of moxie to get herself all the way to SA. Who knows where this may lead, maybe it will be a learning adventure. It seems like sketchy hubby has a solid family that will at least take her in. But back to the weight; that much weight indicates some discomfort in other areas of life that lead her to eat that much. Let's hope she's discovered birth control at least. The Pill is a nice amuse bouche pre-dejeuner for the next few months, I hope.

Yes!!!!! She married him. There is no “putting on the breaks”. There’s separation or divorce, but there’s no “slowing down”. They are married- does she have trouble processing this?

What I want to know, is supposedly these people all live in filth and nothingness..with pigs and dogs in the streets? Then where do they all buy their nice clothes, and how do they maintain them with no washers, dryers, and irons? Poor people here don't dress as nicely as these people seems to do. Also, Evelin wants no children ever..is there a corner drug store where she buys birth control then? How will she manage that? Where do they all obtain their food and water and health care? I want to know this sort of thing, not how they decapitate a chicken.

Every town and village in Central and South America has a pharmacy, and you can buy anything without a prescription. I always stock up when I'm there! You can buy ANYTHING from birth control to Ambien to antibiotics.

I'm not understanding the hating on tiffany' s size; yes she's heavy but she's proportioned and she's certainly not seconds away from being on Dr Now's operating table. Wtf with this intense reaction? She's smaller than or similar to others on the shows who never get this much animosity about size; is it just an easy target because people dislike her parenting choices and are redirecting their anger?

As an aside....Ronald is not good looking.  Maybe a person makes dumb decisions over a guy who looks like aladin....but this guy?  He looks goofy as hell.

Aladdin is eye candy, for sure. And his personality doesn't even suck. He's cute, funny, and seems mentally stable. Soooo that said, what is his angle? Dying to know! What exactly does Laura bring to the table, so to speak? She is old and fat and not attractive and as far as I can see, not wealthy.

I agree, a lot of this is staged.  Of all the places he could pick up her father it has to be at a casino/hotel?  Really?

Jenny and Sumit:  Is there a reason a Caucasian woman, alone, can't flag a rickshaw?  Seriously, is there?  Why can't she go out and about?  I am never a fan of giving a guy an ultimatum, but I would say "You have so many days to figure this out, like 4 days or I am heading home.  I am being treated like a side piece but your wife, in this case, are your parents."  Jenny, you are 60 plus -stop acting and being treated like you are 15.  I am still bewildered she went over there clueless about marrying an Indian citizen in India when you are a US citizen.

IKR, I don't get Jenny and Laura too, going to foreign countries and knowing ZILCH about the culture.  It's like they have this entitled attitude that every place is like the USA.

I just can't believe that both Jenny and Laura are so willfully ignorant of their new homeland and cultures.  I guess that part of it is that they see themselves as highly desirable and in positions of power, therefore their men should do whatever they demand/want.  Even if Jenny doesn't want to walk a mile, she could walk around the block.  Indians are very hospitable and would willingly help her if she wanted to buy something, etc.  I don't appreciate Laura's remarks about the culture in Qatar.  Their culture is their culture and the time to make a judgement/decision about it is before moving there.  Do I agree with everything in the other cultures in which I have lived and/or visited?  No, but I also understand that there are different philosophies and beliefs than those I hold.  Even in our own country/culture I respect those with whom I disagree.  Laura is very convinced that not only is she right about everything, but Aladin needs to change his beliefs and behaviors to fit in with hers.  Laura, maybe you should have found a Canadian instead of a Tunisian.  Same goes for Jenny-stop demanding that Summit do this or that according to your wishes.

Tiffany is so wishy-washy.  "Well, I said that I would marry him..." and you said that you'd take Daniel home.  How nice that she has lived her life in such a way that she has always followed through with everything she ever said.

Karine really did look happy when reunited with her family.  And, her parents are now among my favorites of all of these shows.  Paul is pretty shrewd with how he omits and rewords the evidence and charges against him.  All a part of his permanent victimhood.

Evilyn and Corey-whether fake or real, Corey is willing to come across as a buffoon.  Wouldn't be surprised if he asks his family for financial help.  It also seemed to me that the bar is an add-on to her family's restaurant, not necessarily a stand alone establishment.

Karine, you are not helping by bitching about Paul.  If I knew my parents hated my hubby:  When asked, "Is he helping you"  I would be like: "Oh my gosh, YES!!!  He rubs my feet and caters to me!!  He is so sweet!!"  The greeting Karine's mom gave Paul was straight up COLD.

This advice to Karine makes sense in my head. But I feel like all the conventional wisdom about a successful marriage has to be off the table if your husband is Paul.
