When I heard the scream, I immediately yelled out loud (to no one in particular, I was alone):

"The dingo took my baby!!"

Completely different country and all that, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

Happy that it was just the aunt who was showing up. Daniel must have been relieved to see a familiar face.

This actually made me so sad.  This poor kid is being dragged from everything he knows and loves to a dangerous country where his "dad" tells him he has to be careful or he'll be sold just so his mom can chase after an addict's dick.

I'm not understanding the hating on tiffany' s size; yes she's heavy but she's proportioned and she's certainly not seconds away from being on Dr Now's operating table. Wtf with this intense reaction? She's smaller than or similar to others on the shows who never get this much animosity about size; is it just an easy target because people dislike her parenting choices and are redirecting their anger?

YES. THIS. I think she's got the most attractive personality of all the women on this season (not that that is saying a lot, I guess). And I love her face/makeup and feel like she presents herself well (unlike someone like Nicole or Danielle, say).

On the sex toy, someone should tell Aladin that while it may be insulting, if he uses it on her, he may not have to actually stick his um, member,  in her.  That seems like a win for him.

Sex toys for the couple's mutual enjoyment is one thing but a vibrator which only enhances the woman's experience is a whole different thing. "Here, use this on ME!"

Maybe I'm missing something here but the only time I've seen her weight mentioned is when people were talking about Ronald not being attractive.  A lot of people have mentioned how pretty her face is and how pretty her makeup is.

She may present herself well and on the show, she certainly seems the most likeable out of all the women but romantic love with a man who is a felon and addict is more important than her son's well being.

if you can't have sex outside of marriage in Qatar was aladin supposed to have been a virgin prior to marrying Laura?  Because I don't believe that and if he told her that they HAD to be married before having sex......it makes me think there is a scam afoot that relied on them being married.

I'm sure Aladin lost his virginity way back in Tunisia. Didn't he claim that they couldn't stay together in a hotel unless they were married (*cough*Nicole*cough) so they went somewhere and had a civil ceremony? I thought he was very quick to "put a ring on it" once he determined he had a big Canadian fish on the line who was so anxious to be caught she practically jumped into his net.

I keep envisioning Sumit coming home to her withered away skeleton still sitting on the bed where he left her because she was too stupid to know how to feed herself.

How far away do Sumit's parents live? I thought it was close enough that he was afraid someone he knew would see them together. If his parents think he's going to work, why can't he spend the day with Laura and return to their place at night?

Also if Mormons don’t drink alcohol why would he want to spend all day in a bar?

I was thinking the same, but I had to interrupt my post to take food out of the oven.

It looks like there were a lot of posts last night so maybe I can read through them later.

Tiff and Ronald---I loved the excited reaction Daniel had to his aunt's arrival.   Making Ronald pick up his future FIL in  a casino is just too contrived, even for this show.

Jenny and Sumit----  her hair really bothers me;  it is too fine, thin, and limp to wear that long.  Her attitude is really getting on my nerves.  So he has left her enough food for the length of his absence.  She will be as fat as Laura when he comes back if all she does is wallow around the apartment and eat.   Somewhere upthread someone asked about Sumit's place in his family;  I think he said he lived with parents, grandparents, and a brother.  Not sure if he is the older or younger brother.   I think he is somewhat fascinated by her being American, but I am not sure how long he can put up with her neediness.

Laura and Aladin---I am liking her less and less.   I don't really care for him, but I think that is because I think he is stupid for marrying her.   I need eye bleach when I see them in bed.   Brilliant move to bring out the vibrator for the first time when they are on screen.   She just seems too pushy for a guy from the Middle East.  The only redeeming aspect of this couple is the term "jiggy jiggy."  Maybe if there were more jiggy in his jiggy jiggy, she would be satisfied.    I can't believe I wrote that.  I need brain bleach.   I will show myself out now.

I was confused by that as well.  I thought at some point in the beginning of the season they said it was a couple hours away by car?  But then when he was on the phone with his father Sumit declined an offer to have someone pick him up at the airport?  My guess is it's a reasonable driving distance, but his parents THINK he's much farther away so he has to play it as if he flew there so it wouldn't be reasonable to just drop in for a quick visit.

A reminder that the people on the show are eligible for all kinds of criticism (they're stupid, they're fat, they're ugly, they suck in bed, they might smell bad, they're old, they have terrible grammar... take your pick) but your fellow Primetimer members are NOT eligible for criticism.

TL;DR   Keep comments to the show participants.

Regarding ronald asking tiffany's sister to call him "brother", my guess was that it may be related to a translation of afrikaans where they have a specific term for brother-in-law that translates to "brother" in english. In another site, one of the users (from South Africa) pointed out that "my boy" is a direct translation of an endearment for children in afrikaans

I’d call him Ronald and if I had to introduce him to someone, it would be brother in law.

I find him lizard like . Just the way he half closes his eyes and almost clenches his jaw when Tiffany tells him her concerns, makes me want to slap the shut out of him.

With Jenny being all helpless and all, why doesn’t Sumit just change his lie to say his new job was he was hired to be her caretaker?

And viola, he can still be around her and make their perceived relationship more acceptable to some. 😜

I mean he is lying anyway, and now there is a legitimate reason to explain cutting another grown ass adult’s (who is perfectly mobile) toenails.

My understanding is Sumit and his family, and his job was in the original town (started with a G) that's about 800k people.    He is still living in the same town, but told his parents he has a new job in Mumbai, and is living close to where he used to work.

That's why Sumit was so upset when his Dad wanted him to show his live location on his phone, and it would have shown he's not far from the parent's house.

I don’t know if the town is spread out or there is constant traffic but I think he said he moved about 90 minutes away from his parents but that because they live in or near a business district there is a good chance people who know his parents might see him and report back.

Here is my beef with Laura....I think she is kind of a bitch.

She made it a point to embarrass aladin on national TV by pointing out how he isn't good at sex.  She chastised him about being a two minute lay in the TH.

What do you think her reaction would have been if he had pointed out that she is old and ugly?   What if he had bought her a paper bag to cover her face with during sex?  What if he had said in the TH that it was hard to last longer when he had to look ar her flabby body and sunspotted face? Would she have been as cool, calm and understanding as she expected him to be?  Would she find it as amusing?

And she can miss me with her little "gee, I have no idea why he would be so mad?"

Really grandma?

LOL, I watched this with Mini Persnickety and told her, "Hell, maybe he should have a tossed a banana and a condom at her and told her to start practicing because she wasn't rocking his world, either."   😄 😄 😄

I thought it was Laura's litany of complaints about Aladin's manly parts and performance with said parts.

Then I saw the second bolded part and realized my mistake.  😄 😄 😄

I will introduce my brother and sister as my sister Jill and brother Tom.

Sumit - You know when the US lifted out Iraqis when we pulled out of the war?  My city took in over 30,000 and with them came Bengalis who were working there.  The Bengalis, more than the Iraqis, are holding onto the extended family living in one house for life.  I work with teens and they remember being pulled out and like their life here but the Bengalis can not fathom leaving home and it scares them when I ask them if they are going away to college or getting an apartment after high school.  It is very odd.  When I work with their young sibs in elementary school, and were born here, it is a much different case.  Can I just sum up by saying the influx of these groups has really diversified our community in the best way.  All the kids hang out together.  I would say it is 40% white, 40% black and 20% Iraqi/Bengali.  We have one each of Mexican and Native American.  I love all the different grocery stores we have now.

In Afrikaans people do call their brothers/sisters--- boetie/sussie as a term of endearment but I don't know why Tiffany would ask her sister to call Ronald brother so quickly.

Right? The sister looked terrified, as if she couldn't believe this was actually happening. Maybe I missed if anyone talked about a reason, but Tiffany's mom isn't going to the wedding. I know she has a (gulp) young child of her own, but it's odd that Tiffany's dad, who hasn't been a part of her life, flew in for the wedding, while her mom didn't. Granted, the flights are probably very expensive, but I still find it a bit odd. As if anything on this show makes a lick of sense - what was I thinking?!

I find that situation odd.  TLC would have paid for the flight I assume and an appearance fee.  She couldn't find anyone to watch her child for a week?  Devan found someone to look after her hellion, so it has to be possible.

Maybe dad is weird and will cause drama.  He must be willing if he went along with the "you must come all the way into the casino to get me" storyline and the "Tiffany can't call dad while Ronald is on his way and ask me to meet him out front"

Tifftiff and Ronnie- The scene with her sister was nice; I did feel he was being genuine as he could be here.  If Tiff's single young sister could make it by herself to SA and then to Ronald's mother's house at night; then her dad should be able to call a car service and get from the hotel/casino to the wedding venue.  Ronald's mom is lovely; a pox upon him for stealing from her!

Laura/Aladin- what? why? how? They only got married b/c she thought he was hot and going to be a stallion in bed ?  Serves her right; he was a bad order from wish.  If I were him I'd be ticked too- he seemed to genuinely like her even if sex was all he interested in and then she shows up and instead of private time and time together as a couple she's exposing all his sex problems on camera.  I really liked Laura (she won this show with her catfishing her ex husband bald) but she's really disappointing me.

Cabbage patch baby face corey and Evilen- He's been there before and spent time there setting up the bar, but he still doesn't know how the country works? or he's acting.  I thought he had a successful job or something in the US where he's getting all the money from, but nope he's another dope that drained his retirement fund for evil.  Nothing makes sense aobut them so I think they are putting on an act.  If he wanted a sweet but hot girl to settle down with and make babies, there are plenty of mormon girls that fit that bill.  Evilin is sticking to her guns and I can't fault her for that; if you know what you want in life then don't give in to someone else's plan for you, BUT find a partner with similar goals and don't drain their bank account so they can fund your dreams.  They are either acting or are terribly mismatched.

Jenny /Suuuuumit- I get that some areas of India are dangerous for women to be alone/ live alone, etc...  I'm still more interested in how she interacted with his family in their home when she was there for months before.  WHAT HAPPENED?????  Also, if my fiancee said I'll be back in a few weeks, I'll make it possible for you to stay in, be stocked with food and watch Netflick the entire time if you want; he would endear himself to me all the more.

Pol/ Sluggie- Yes, Pol; everyone is disappointed in you and hates you; and for good reason.  Her parents would have helped her take care of the baby; she should just let Pol be deported.

She is overly pushing him on her family as a way of trying to legitimize her latest mistake, I mean relationship. If not trying to confirm him to others, more so trying to psychologically confirm him to herself.

She is constantly trying to validate her decision making by saying “if Daniel doesn’t like it I will not stay” or “if Ronald messes up I’ll have to reconsider marrying him” or something to that effect.  Subconsciously she knows she will continue on with it no matter what happens, but she apparently makes herself feel better by pretending there are other options or that she will not get walked all over by him, etc.

Of course it makes no sense for a non-blood related woman from a different country to call a man she barely knows “brother”.  But when selfish Tiffany hears her say “brother” to Ronald, or hears Daniel say “Dad” (shudder) it psychologically confirms other people’s acceptance of him to her and makes herself feel better about her own bad decision making.  Which I am sure deep down she knows is very flawed, and affects her entire family negatively.

In other words she is just another selfish bitch who puts the D before the things that really matter, namely blood relatives, and the thing that should be number one and is not, her own child.

I would not find it endearing whatsoever if my man was so afraid of his parents, that he lied about where he was living and then has to high tail it out to smooth it over with no ETA of when he'll be back.  Why does he need a couple of weeks to be with his family?  So he can continue to lie?  The only thing that would be endearing is Sumit says to her, "I'm going to tell my parents I love you, I'm marrying you, and the lies end now."  Of course, this is the guy that catfished her in the beginning.

People really seem to hate Jenny, but there shouldn't be anything endearing about a grown man who posed as a six-pack ab guy before coming clean about that a long time after and then who brings her to his country and then essentially ditches her to continue a lie.  Seeming sweet and being sweet are two different things.  He's not sweet.  He's a liar.

True.  I don't hate Jenny and I don't hate on her being scared to be alone in an unknown country.  Sumit was definitely in the wrong.  He needs to cut it off and they both need to move far away if he wants to be with her.  What I was saying is I love chill out time and Jenny definitely needs to chill out more and I was attempting to be humourous about it.  But, Jenny also knew going into this how hard it was going to be for him to give up his parents and that they weren't moving THAT far away.  Both of them should have talked about this possiblity and how they were going to tackle it together before now.

@PinkFlamingo -- I agree, all Tiffany's statements are never finite.  It's always "I'll have a hard time if Ronald does this..." Or "it would make me rethink things if he did that" or "if my sister doesn't like him....it would be rough" or "if Daniel doesn't like it here it would make it hard to stay"

It's never like "if he does x, I will do y" or "if this a happens, I will do b"

Is it unknown?  She spent months there when sumit flew her out....and she stayed with his family! For MONTHS!

This is the most mysterious thing to me because it means she has to have gleaned some knowledge from spending months there.  And if she knows how sumit and his family interact and operate how did she not see this coming from a mile away?

I love chill out time too!  And yes, I find her to be a complete fucking idiot who willingly went into a relationship that was founded on a lie and then moved to a country to be with the man who continues to lie.   Maybe part of her issue with him leaving is she knows he lies.  Maybe he's going to see the other American broad who lives in an apartment and he's gaming.

Maybe he has a gang of old lady lovers in various cities, lol.  That could still be a possibility.  I'm serious.

I know!!!! This is why she and he need to spill more on what went down when she was there before!  Like did the family forbid her to leave the house b/c they were scared of what the neighbors would say???????

It honestly would not surprise me!  For someone who catfished, he's got so many people on this board convinced he's sweet and genuine.  I think he's a master of manipulation.
