I'm sure Kyle feels bad about the bite and blames Kim. Who we are really hearing from are her lawyers trying to limit her liability which is what they should do. Jury trial is set for January 2018. The jury will have to sort it out. The judge should throw Kim in jail till she surrenders the dog.

Kyle has zero responsibility as I see it and I believe any jury would as well.  If I were chosen for that jury I would NEVER admit that I watched the show!  No one would.  I love this thought!

Time for Kyle to wake up and cut Kim out of her life.  Not cut her love out, they are sisters.  Cut her physical access out other than phone and text.  No keys to her house for sure.  Jesus.

I think Kyle's homeowners insurance is going to have to pay because the attack occurred in her home.  If Kyle wanted to avoid liability she would probably have to say she didn't give Kim permission to use the house which is not really believable.  And it's not believable to me that Kyle didn't know Kim still had Kingsley and there was a reasonable chance that if Kim was in her home Kingsley was as well.  Kim is such a fuck up!  She's a walking talking calamity waiting to happen and her dog has caused serious injury to at least three people that we know of.  I think the stylist is going to get a ton of money and imo she deserves it.  Too bad Kyle has to end up paying, assuming she does, but until she puts her foot down with Kim and finally stops enabling Kim's reckless shitty behavior, I can't scrape up much sympathy for her.

I doubt this case will ever see the light of a jury trial.  It'll be settled before it comes to that if for no other reason than none of the defendants wants the pictures of Paige's ripped flesh posted on TMZ or ROL.  Kim really doesn't have anything to lose, she's trashed her career and her reputation but Kyle and Maurico sure as hell do.  I think it's more of a matter of which of the defendants pays how much.  Of course Kim or her insurance should pay the whole cost but I'll bet the others will get thrown under the bus by irresponsible Kim and end up having to chip in.

Not true.  There is a reason that many homeowners policies will not cover pitbulls.  There is the expectation that when you are invited into someone's home that you (and your crotch) are safe from a biting dog, falling dangers, pool accidents, slip & falls.  It is why pools have the issue being an attractive nuisance.  Even if you are not home, have an electric fence around your pool, a biting dog whathaveyou, someone sneaks in and drowns you can and will be sued and most likely lose.

I am curious if Kim even has an umbrella policy-I think the Umanskys will take the hit.  And it will be big.

My credit union denied me a small loan because I had an empty backyard pool.  Kingsley could sneak in to one of my unused bedrooms, if I could trust him not to kill my cats (which would NEVER happen, but still, poor baby).  I do not tolerate "visitors" from the human species, ever.

I think her umbrella policy consists of whatever loser is with her when it rains they have to hold the umbrella over her head.

My "family" room has leaked since 1988 - I got rid of all the losers who said they could fix my roof, and I don't own an umbrella - because it never rains in California ...

Yup. Goodness gracious I hope she follows through. Granny jail would suck. Maybe she should call Tre.

"Granny jail".  I died.  You must now feed my critters.

LOL! No problem. Kim now owes us all new keyboards. Speaking of keys....under Mr. Kitty right? I'm up for Cali about now. Adult Brownies for all.

My hands & arms are almost totally disabled, which makes it that much harder to type when my Babalu chooses to recline across them AND my keyboard.

Welcome to sunny SoCali anytime ... you can park your skeevy van in my driveway.  If you bear special brownies, I might even let you in for a cold glass of milk.    ;-)

Looks like we will be seeing a lot more of Kim Richards Season 8.

When the first award for damages came out I thought Kim's attorneys earned every penny.  Too soon, I think the award amount is the least of Kim's worries.  At some point she is going to have to take responsibility for the dog and hopefully he has been euthanized or taken some place Kim can never find him.

Kim taking responsibility?  Doubt that will ever happen.  Instead, she blames everyone else. I am still waiting for LR's prediction in the epilogue last year that someday Kim will be held accountable.  Hasn't happened yet, and I doubt it will ever.  If she has managed to live 50+ years without doing so, it's never gonna happen.

How long has this been going on now? She was warned in March, 6 months ago, to do her community  service or else and she has only completed 180 hours of the 450 needed, that is less then half! They should have thrown her butt in jail, it's not like she doesn't have the time to do it and anyone else would have been jailed long ago.  http://www.eonline.com/news/878571/kim-richards-is-making-progress-with-her-court-mandated-community-service

I'm still pissed that her community service requirement is being met (verrrrry slllooooowwwllly) by working with sweet and scared rescue horses, and she loves horses.  That is way too nice of a job for community service.  What's next?  Receptionist at a spa?

Kicking cops in a hotel bar?  She should be washing dishes in the bar, or maybe washing dishes in a soup kitchen.

IMO, she should be picking up trash on the busiest highway in LA wearing a bright orange vest like the rest of the other convicted criminals.

So that's the first victim right? Kim still has to answer for the stylist who was mauled by Kingsley while at Kyle's house. Unless that's been settled? Does anyone know?

Kay was actually the 4th victim, production, the trainer and Brandi happened before then. After Kay came Alexia (Kyles daughter) and finally the stylist. That said, Kay was the first to sue Kim and I don't think the stylist's lawsuit has been heard as of yet.  And the dog is still alive!

Looks like Kim may be back full-time this season, but who knows at this point. I am no fan of hers in general, but it would be nice to see her healthy and happy. She can be a lot of fun when she is happy.

Oh no!!  She just brings a weird vibe and Kyle seems more relaxed when she isn't around.  Also, I have a younger sister who is an alcoholic who drifts in and out of sobriety and she is the Kim and I am the Kyle.  Like them, our mom died but in 2007 so when I watch their dysfunction, it's not a relaxing time lounging in front of the tv.

Agreed. I like Kyle so much better when Kim is not around. But still, Kim is Kyle's reality. The way that Kyle is different when Kim is around is fascinating to me. And extremely real.

I disagree that Kim can be a lot of fun when she's "happy". (I'm not even sure if we've ever seen her be happy to be honest.) I can't think of a single time when she's ever been fun to watch or fun for the women to be around.

Kim has ruined every vacation she's been apart of save maybe Colorado and that's because Taylor was the housewife who was in a bad place so most of the attention was on her.

During the rare times she hosts something that's supposed to be fun, she always has a bug up her ass about some petty bullshit. Being mad about Ken and Lisa not coming to Kimberly's graduation party or dictating the conversation at that circus workout thing or whatever it was. (Kim rarely hosts anything so the examples on this score are few and far between.)

She's been unpleasant at every single dinner party or luncheon.

Sober or her version of "clean" she is always late, always a pain in the ass, always full of excuses and anything but fun.

She was happy in a sad way when she got to sign autographs at that convention. That's the best I can come up with.

It bums me out that she might be full time again. How annoying for everyone involved. Cast, crew and viewers are all going to suffer because she has shown time and again that she doesn't think that she's ever done anything wrong, that she's the big victim in any scenario, and that she has no plans on changing.

If Kim comes back full time, I'm out.  For the first time since season 1, I'm not watching the OC Housewives because I just can't stand to watch that nasty ass Vicki anymore. I'll stop watching BH if they bring her back.

Kim and I are around the same age, I can't believe that she was my idol when I was a kid. I coveted her hair and wanted to be her.  Damn I was a stupid ass kid.

I'm right there with ya!  Vicky and Kim were the straws that broke the respective camels' backs for me, too.

The state of California is NOT Uncle Sam.

HAHAHA!!!!

Far worse to owe Uncle Jerry than Uncle Sam California does not do offers in compromise of waive interest and late fees. All I can say is Kim must be making a hell of a lot money to owe the state that amount of money-California's tax rate, although high at 13.3%, would mean Kim was making big bank..  It also sounds as if she didn't file a return.

I was cringing when I saw that this thread had been bumped because I knew it meant that Kim had been up to no good. *sigh* Who is going to clean up this mess for her? The Umanskys, the Hiltons, or one of her children?

Not only is Kim living in Kyle's condo for FREE, I'm sure she'll expect Kyle to pay for this too.

Kim/Kyle settled the lawsuit! https://pagesix.com/2018/04/09/kim-richards-settles-dog-bite-lawsuit/

I have to wonder if Kyle paid her off after the victim legally requested to "inspect" Kim's apartment in the lawsuit, which makes me believe that Kyle knew/knows that Kim still had/still has Kingsley in her possession.

  • Love 4

I am sure Kyle's homeowner's paid the tab.  Kim obviously has no money.

Kyle was in Europe when the attack occurred-my guess Kim most likely does whatever she wants to do where the dog is concerned.  I am wondering where Kingsley is now.

I would surmise that he is still living with Kim because she settled the lawsuit shortly after the victim requested a walk through of the condo in court! Looks like Kyle hasn't set any constraints on Kim living there even though Kim pays no rent according to Kyle.

At what point will she realize that her enabling is doing her sister no favors. She should get her sister as a tax deduction at this point as she supports her and I see no end in sight of that ending. I think Kyle has a good heart but Kim...well she’s Kim.

Which is still Kyle paying as I doubt Kim pays for any house/renters insurance either.
