Also Alec wanting to squash Goliath Strong makes him my hero. Also also he has beautiful eyes. Peachy. Shut your face. Elizabeth and Alison belong to the SAME TRIBE. Popular Post LadyChatts November 8, 2018 Popular Post Share November 8, 2018 (edited) I don’t think I’ve been this on the edge of my seat for a TC in a loooooong time. And when Jeff opened TC up with “the merge vote often sets a tone…” I thought ‘this better deliver.’ Epic! I didn’t even mind the game of telephone going on. Or Gabby’s tears. This had everything! Except Angelina getting voted off. Seriously she is TERRIBLE at this game. And yet, Elizabeth is the bad one at strategy because she just didn't go off into the night quietly. Please let her be next. I really hope the Goliaths just don’t pick off the Davids. That's going to get old fast if the end game is all them. Edited November 8, 2018 by LadyChatts 39 Link to comment
Popular Post Rachel RSL November 8, 2018 Popular Post Share November 8, 2018 Another great episode! I love when the IC ends and there are still 30 mins left because you know it means there’s a lot of strategy coming up. Elizabeth’s plan might have worked if she’d outed Angelina earlier in the day. I knew she was toast as soon as she said she was going to wait until TC. It’s so rare that people change their minds at TC. Angelina obviously was hoping Elizabeth would be able to save herself so she could get her way and have Christian booted instead. It was hilarious when her plan totally backfired and Elizabeth blew up her game. She never saw that coming lol! I’m all about the Counter Goliath Insurgency! All my favourite people are in that alliance. I was so bummed when they merged and John was immediately all “Goliath strong!” I’m not interested in seeing a Pagonging. Although, as long as Christian is safe, I’m happy. Him stopping mid-sentence to fix the piece of wood he knocked over was so funny. I hate that his awesomeness has already made him a target. Back off my boyfriend, Angelina! Dan and his 2 idols can go next. I don’t care that he used to be fat, I find him obnoxious. Angelina is also on my last nerve but I like her in the sense that she’s sort of an old-school reality show villain. The kind you love to hate, as opposed to Russell who you just hate. 37 Link to comment

Popular Post LadyChatts November 8, 2018 Popular Post Share November 8, 2018 (edited) I could listen to Christian talk all day. Dan the Man is totally going to Keith Nale himself this season at some point. He clearly has never seen an episode of this show to know why he might be a target. And is he going to keep giving himself pep talks at challenges about how awesome he is? I cannot hate this guy. He is too good at comic relief and doesn’t even know it. The Goliaths are hopefully getting set up for a big down fall. I was not happy to hear all the ‘sticking to tribal lines’ talk. I loved Gabby’s paranoia at the merge feast thinking about there being an idol hiding somewhere, and John salivating at the 100,000 calories of food in front of them. Quote There’s no love in me for her. I just hate Angelina. She’s dog turds. She's such a spoiled brat. She's not even a fun villain. Heck, I don't even consider her a villain. LanceM November 8, 2018 Share November 8, 2018 Angelina is a star. I am sorry. And I mean star in a train wreck sort of way. Kudos to the editors this season. I did not see an unanimous vote coming at all. I kind of knew Angelina was staying but not like that. I hope she last all the way to finale night because she is entertainment gold. Though I suspect I might be on an island of one for that opinion. Also, Dan talking to himself during the challenge "Remind yourself how awesome you are. you are the man" had me cracking up. 19 Link to comment

She was totally pandering for a jury vote. But I didn't think the Goliaths would vote her out just yet. She better watch her back, though. Overall, this was a great episode in what has turned into a really great season. There's just do many interesting players and people are PLAYING. I'm kind of excited about this strike force alliance. Unless Alec's insurgency strikes first, or something else happens to fracture Goliath strong, I think they will keep her as long as they need her and then get rid of her. She seemed to really piss them off tonight when insisting they vote Christian without caring what they thought, then the whole Elizabeth debacle. I mean, I really hope she gets asked in an interview what her intent was there. She acts like she was trying to help her...but do what? So they will probably coddle her and say it's all good, but then we'll get TH that say otherwise. Allison may be one to watch. She seems in the best spot right now. Popular Post truthaboutluv November 8, 2018 Popular Post Share November 8, 2018 (edited) I knew Elizabeth was still going to be eliminated and all the dramatics was just to add some tension to the episode. But did not expect everyone to vote for her, including all of the former Davids. I guess I can understand the thinking that she was going anyway, no need to waste a vote, especially if they would want to work with some of the Goliaths later. But still, I wish one or two had thrown a vote Angelina's way, just to make her squirm a bit. Speaking of, Angelina is incredibly annoying. The thing is, her rationale for going after Christian wasn't wrong, as much as I like Christian. It actually made a lot of sense. But her sense of entitlement and "my way or no way" attitude was annoying and why it was especially amusing to see her huff and puff over, according to her, how Dan or Alec, just dictated who was going to her. I agreed with Alec that she was mostly furious because she had to deal with the fact that things weren't going to go the way she decided. That said, I think the editing is setting Alec up for a big blindside. There was way too much focus on him tonight and all his boasting about blindsides, playing the game, etc. Especially since his name didn't even come up as a potential vote and we saw so much of him. Granted that may be because he helped orchestrate the six person alliance of him, Alison, Mike, Nick, Christian and Gabby. And maybe that alliance goes far. Still, I think his days are numbered. Tonight was the first time I believed that Gabby could manufacture those tears at will. Because that crying at Tribal Council came out of nowhere and was completely random. She also needs to maybe calm the fuck down and not get so emotional. Because I foresee her blowing up her game very badly through some bad play/move that's the result of her acting purely on emotion. And honestly, I don't care that much but because she's so close to Christian and Angelina is already obsessed with getting him out, I would hate for it to ricochet on him. Speaking of people potentially blowing up their game - um Dan, the point of Survivor is to vote people out and be the last one standing. Dude's reaction to Elizabeth throwing out his name was so ridiculous and Kara's reaction to it was spot on. Like Gabby may bring Christian down with her histrionics, I feel like the same may happen to Kara because of Dan. Dan has two immunity idols, in the majority and gets so upset and emotional over Elizabeth throwing out his name. And I loved his cluelessness of why him and not John, when it's like "because dumbass you keep making your alliance and connection with Kara blatantly obvious to everyone". And that pep talk to himself during the challenge was definitely something. If Dan hadn't talked about being fat before earlier in the season, I still would have figured out he'd had something that obviously made him very insecure when he was younger. And I have to say, Mike and Nick's obvious amusement and enjoyment of tribal council shenanigans and madness just kill me. Those two were both just laughing their asses off and completely amused as the whole Angelina vs Elizabeth saga was going on. Edited November 8, 2018 by truthaboutluv 27 Link to comment

North of Eden November 8, 2018 Share November 8, 2018 All Angelina had to do was gracefully accept it when they flipped back to Elizabeth and not draw attention to herself. It's just that simple. With that said what Elizabeth did was in all honesty pretty low down...Angelina was trying to save her and help her if only to get her way about Christian but the fact remains her intent was to keep Elizabeth in the game. For Elizabeth to turn around and do what she did...well it just casts her in a bad light. On a side note I wonder if she had any rodeo experience the way she lasted so long in the contest. There is an Alison? I swear she was invisible this season right up until her win. I know people don't like Gabby crying but that just endears her to me even more because she's genuine and wears her heart on her sleeve. I have a real issue with people that are reserved to the point that its pathological. That comes from working with a woman for twelve years who won't ay good morning, good night or barely speaks at all. Completely a blank slate...doesn't keep family pictures or one...not one personal item on her desk. She'd give a Vulcan a run for his money...but getting back to Gabby...she's so real, so emotional...she's just awesome. I so hoped she would be the one to find the clue at the merge meal when she was the talking head about such things. Part of me thinks its behind the sign that said: "everything you need is right here". Oh, well if she didn't find it better than Dan the Brochero or Douchero or whatever that name is. Carl knew a David would be going so he made sure he wasn’t the target by suggesting the one David he really doesn’t get along with. And Dan wanted her gone because she was actively coming after him. As for why the reaction was different when Christian’s name was thrown out, three of the Goliaths are in a secret alliance with him so of course they wanted to shift the target off of him. None of that had anything to do with gender. 7 minutes ago, North of Eden said: With that said what Elizabeth did was in all honesty pretty low down...Angelina was trying to save her and help her if only to get her way about Christian but the fact remains her intent was to keep Elizabeth in the game. blackwing November 8, 2018 Share November 8, 2018 I’m happy that Elizabeth is gone. I found her irritating. She seemed to think she was this powerful force that was destined to win the game, because she’s a tough country girl that kills squirrels with her bare hands, and nobody puts baby in a corner. However, I don’t get why all the Davids turned on her. Was it an “anybody but me” thing? I thought the Davids were targeting Dan. Then when Angelina’s duplicity was revealed, why didn’t any of the Davids whisper to each other to vote for Angelina? All it would have taken was one Goliath to flip and the Queen Bee is gone. Man, Gabby is uber irritating. She cries at tribal council even when she is nowhere near in danger that vote. She’s just not cut out for this game at all. I swear that this episode was 75% Angelina centric. I just want her gone ASAP. Hopefully now that Goliath has a 7-5 advantage if everyone stays true, they can afford to lose her. 17 Link to comment

Elizabeth, Angelina etc should be more worried about the brochachos sticking together than dan and kara's shomance. Dan doesnt strike me as much of a player Allison starting to show her colors as a strong looking player. I read an interview with Angelina and I really liked what she was saying. So.... confused on whether I like her or not.
