That's a shame. Taking on that persona is going to do her know favors. I listen to all kinds of music including some old rap. I wonder if they play the uncut versions in the car with their kids? If so they they will be picking up some bad phrases and language in general.

Modeling after Kail is not a great look. Go visit Chelsea Leah!

Shoooot. I still love me some 90’s R&B. But my music is now more classic rock, rock, and alternative. Linkin Park, The Doors, Britney, Pink, Godsmack, Bush, Nirvana, Imagine Dragons. I’m all over the place.  Almost anything but Country. Of course I have to be sure to pick the kid friendly versions when the kiddo is in the car.

My mom has been sending old childhood photos to my fiancee lately, and the most recent one features me in an old washtub taking a bath. I'm about three years old in the photo and I look remarkably like Addie. It's...uncanny, almost.

Also, the ads on the bottom of this page are marvelously targeted:

I have noticed over the years here, the ads generally tend to pop up depending on what is posted here. For example, this ad was showing up (before I began using an ad blocker, but still appears on my cell phone) quite frequently in the Kail thread:

Oh Leah...she's slender, but in that generational poverty West Virginia type of way. Sort of like the tap dancing guys on the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

I could tell she was flirting with Jermy when she kept repeating that his "butt stinks" and smirking. I mean, I'm married and shit and we make gross jokes about each other, but there's some part of me that would rebel at trying to get my child to agree that his father's nether regions stink. I could tell it was intended to be flirtatious, but it was a little cringey. I guess that's why she's on TM2 and I'm not on "First Time Moms Over 40."

ps - now I feel obligated to say that it wouldn't be true for Mr. Guilfoyle, who is particular about certain aspects of cleanliness that do not extend to NOT PUTTING TRASH IN THE SINK.

Look at the guys she marries. Your friends are likely seeking real men. Men with jobs and careers. Men who aren't pill poppers.

Yeah- heteronormativity being what it is, most women under 50 can find a (single) man their age (Im only discounting older women because men die first- nothing to do with their attractiveness); it’s finding a man a woman of caliber actually wants is an entire other matter.

Also that’s why the Victorias of the world divorce and remarry  (so quickly) for the most part. It’s not as if the relationships are healthy and engaging but they just didn’t click.

I love @geauxaway suggestion of “it’s been a LONG day”.

This. I’m betting the guyses she’s with are actually worse off than she is as far as drug use, stability, etc. It appears the Messes  Messers have been taught get menses, any menses, and get knocked up by them too, as quickly as possible.

YOU DON’T KNOW when to shut the hell up, Leah.

Leah, all the more reason to quit doing this show and give the girls space away from tv cameras.  When it gets this far, the last thing they need is for their life to be on TV.

This. We “don’t know her story,” true, but we can clearly see that being on TV isn’t helping “her story” to go well. She needs to quit publicly discussing her children’s personal business immediately, she’s hidden so much of her own shit...

Bolded: Exactly! Leah rambles on and on and it bugs the shit outta me. I can't imagine being Gracie and having to hear her mother as she goes on and on. Just reading Leah's long tweets is fucking annoying. As a matter of fact, I do in a way know what that is like as my husband tends to give these speeches and essays when talking to me. I can't tell you how many times I have to say, "Get to the point."

I think we're married to the same man. Dude rarely talks and then when we are alone he will ramble on. I've timed him when we're on drives in the car. He can go for 20 minutes without a single word of encouragement, nod, or any other acknowledgement that I'm listening. It's sort of amazing.

I read the last few posts out loud to my partner who's sitting next to me because he is EXACTLY the same. He never has much to say unless it's irrelevant and/or not asked for, in which case he can go on and on, no matter how many cues I give him that none of what he's saying is necessary.

Same! It’s either dead silence or a never ending running commentary on something totally unnecessary- and social cues be damned. I hear you loud & clear on that one.

Oh lordy lord. That is my guy! I remember after we were in a car accident, we went to meet with our attorneys to prepare for the deposition. We were suing the other driver. I dreaded it. I knew my spouse wasn't going to be able to just answer "yes" or "no" questions. He has to give long ass answers.

This is what he says a lot when we have a conversation - "Let me explain..."  Me: "No dude!!! I ain't got time for your essay shit.  I kid you not, I do say that to him.

This is an example of what he says:

"You know that guy I worked with ten years ago? The one who lived in that blue house on the corner in the valley? He owns that old Corvette. His wife went to school with you. I think her name is Sarah. She used to know your brother."

Me: "Does any of that have anything to do with what you are going to tell me?"

Him: "No."

Me: "Then just get to the point!"

Fuck!!!

Leah bugs me the same way with her gibberish.

My favorite is when I'm trying to tell him something that I think he'll appreciate, find funny, or give insight on.

Me: So, do you remember how Betty <did this thing> and <then this happened>?

Him: Yes. I think so.

Me: So, I just read/heard/learned that <introduction of topic> and <how it relates to betty> and then <am about to deliver bon mot/punchline/point of story>

Him: YES! And you know what Trump said about Kanye? <insert 10 minute explanation of something>. <Realizes I am glaring at him> I'm gonna let you tell me in a minute, but first I have to tell you <another long explanation of something tangentially related to my initial topic or to his last 10 minute explanation.>

Me: gets bored, distracted, starts fiddling with phone. "Um hmmm."

Him: So, actually Dave Chapell said that about Kanye 10 years ago <finishes story>. Ok, what were you going to tell me?

Me: I forgot.

Dude, I have ADD. I can barely remember shit when I'm NOT being interrupted for 10 minutes. And he says it's hard to be married to ME?! Ummmmmhmmmmmm

Probably getting too far off the leah topic.  So, um, yeah. I can't imagine being married to Leah and listening to her bezo rants. I can actually hear them in my head. Probably Jermy likes her best when she's sleeping.

August 2017 was her last appearance on PTV. Talking about Kail selling her baby to Jo. @AhFillAck come back lol.

Related, I just realized that I’ve been a member since August 2015!!!!!!! And almost at 10k community likes. I remember when I first started this forum and saw members @ghoulina & former “GreatKazu” with 10k likes and I was amazed and thought “I will never reach that amount.”

Btw, Ghoulina is about to hit 100,000 milestone....a PTV party in order??!? Isn’t that when they promote you to a moderator? Lol ?

I can’t believe I’ve been talking with a lot of you fine people for almost 3 years. I’ve moved around so much in my life and that’s the longest friendships I’ve had, sadly. Aside from keeping up with old friends on social media but they don’t live close enough to have coffee together.

I know many of you by username only, but I know so much about many of you through shared stories of your personal lives, both the struggles and the good times. Just remembering a PTV user that’s been MIA has got me reflecting just now lol.

TL;DR

I love my PTV family ♥️

Aww this is beautiful and so sweet! I agree wholeheartedly. I had been lurking here for a while before I joined and everybody's hilarious posts kept me going through some really tough times, so thank y'all for that. I moved a lot in my childhood and early adulthood as well so I don't have lifelong IRL friends, but about 15 years ago I joined a message board and we're all still great friends today, from all over the world! I get the same feeling here with you ladies. Our PTV family really is the best!

I got Sirius XM just so that I can play the 90’s music in my car. Hey, the 90s style is coming back and I was a teen then, so now at 36 I can FINALLY afford some doc martens now that they are back in style (never were out of style but more appropriate for a chic in her 30s to wear now ?).

Regarding rambling husbands, it does not help to yell at them after 30 min of crazy talk “I asked for the time, not how to build a clock!” ?  Thankfully he has many, many endearing qualities bc the rambling is just too much for me at times.

On topic, I don’t think Leah looks that good in her latest pic.  It’s like she used self tanner and it is all splotchy.

I actually felt bad for Gracie this last ep.  It seemed like she was expressing to the therapist that it was unfair that she has a twin she can’t do things with.  I imagine at her age she really wants a BFF to do everything with and it must be hard to have a sister the same age that she can do so little with.  As has been said repeatedly in this thread, its too bad Leah hasn’t encouraged art, singing, baking, type hobbies they can do together.

While I am very happy they got Gracie in therapy to be able to have a safe place to talk about her Sib experience, the fact that Leah is making that her storyline disgusts me.

These kids aren’t babies any more- they have a right to their privacy! Ali has a right to medical privacy until she decides to share.

Leah cannot formulate her own storyline?! Taking the girls to various activities and appointments is one thing, having Gracie discuss her most private thoughts is another.

It is ridiculous that Leah has nothing going on in her life to be a storyline! I used to think this show was bad for the kids, by still found it entertaining. This season just has not entertained me so far. It's the worst of the unpleasant ones (jenelle, Kail, Briana), and the most boring aspects of Chelsea and Leah. The time really has come for them to go out in the world and get jobs. Ironically, if they did that, they would have more of a storyline! MTV should promise them money when they're 50 or something, and film a season of them adjusting to life without a doctor's salary.
