My heart really broke for Ali in this episode, because dr. Tsao has said all along that eventually she would start to go downhill. I don't think they have truly believed that until now. For once, I think Leah and Corey resemble two normal human beings while they're interacting!

How nice of Jenelle to pause from cooing over Ensley to talk to Jace for three seconds. Maybe instead of lamenting that Jace has nothing to do she could, I don't know, actually INTERACT with him in some meaningful way? They could play a board game, do a craft, watch a movie together, anything to make Jace feel included in the family. But nope, it's much easier for Jenelle to fawn over the new baby and leave Jace to fend for himself. She only sees him on the weekends, and this is how she uses that time. Her idea of mothering Jace is such a facade. She only cares when it's convenient.

Please spare me Roxanne's "you're not living your life, Briana, it's not fair!" Yeah, and whose fault is that? Briana is 100% responsible for her decisions. I'm tired of her family acting like this situation is all Luis' fault and poor Briana is some innocent here. Yeah, Luis seems like a less than ideal father, but that doesn't exempt Briana from culpability for the mess she's in. All she can do now is try to make the best of things, difficult though they may be. And is Roxanne really only 46? Wow. 

I can't imagine how hard it must be for Leah and Corey to watch their daughter struggle, knowing that she's always going to be labelled as "different," and knowing that her condition will deteriorate. That's got to be the worst feeling, not being able to protect your child from inevitable hardships. I'm glad that Leah and Corey are on good terms and can come together to provide Ali with the love and strength she needs. Regardless of Leah's foibles, I really do believe she loves her daughters and wants the best for them.

Aubree vs. the ducks was easily one of the more boring moments provided by this show. But if this was the best drama MTV could produce then it means Chelsea's life is astonishingly normal, so kudos to her, I guess.

If Kail were anyone other than Kail, I'd feel sorry that her pregnancy news leaked. As it is, I'm sure Kail's outrage comes from being denied the opportunity to announce the pregnancy in a way that presented her in the best light possible. She needed time to spin this oopsie baby and its distant father as part of some grand plan, for she is Kail, Successful Single Mom Who's Proving 'Em All Wrong. I'm sure she was hoping she could smooth things out with Chris to help legitimize her decision to have another child, but that didn't happen before the leak, so she was forced to remain quiet about the father. And somehow Javi became a scapegoat in all this, though it sounds like he's only guilty of confiding in a friend who then spread the gossip. That's a big difference from him selling the information to a publication. But of course Kail had to retaliate by talking shit about Javi, because she's super classy like that. God, she's the fucking worst.

I'm sorry , I'm all for family helping each other out but the mother and sister are enabling her to keep getting knocked up by random loser guys because they agree to help take care of the kids . 

Why was Leah annoyed by the producer asking her if difficulty breathing is a symptom of muscular dystrophy ? 

I feel so bad for jace . I think even in his young mind he knows his mother and soon to the step dad are a sandwich short of a picnic .

Yeah.. whenever I see Leah's stories have to actually deal with Ali's condition in ways they can't control- her being in school and falling a lot and not being able to finish lunch because she can't finish getting her food out, it pains me. (Probably because of my real life connection). 

This episode wasn't good for Chelsea was it? One the fact that she constantly is now deflecting it all on Twitter, Aubree handled the animals badly.. you didn't supervise (also no one would judge you, you have stuff going on, a new baby, a mistake was made on both your parts). Also.. the fact that she shouted "I'm not going to let thebshow make this into a story" well it will probably be regardless.. it was filmed already, just because you don't want to talk about it doesn't mean it won't air. And also? What is your story? Your life doesn't have anything going on as far as the others. And yes Aubree doesn't look great in this light but occasionally kids misbehave, this episode was just bad for her.

I love how everything is Javi's fault even though it is Jenelle's for putting it out there and hey Kail if you don't want your stuff out there then stop doing shady shit. So who told Javi, shouldn't that person be the one to blame? But in Kail's mind everything is Javi's fault.

Poor Jace, all he wanted was some attention from his mom and all she could do is make him jealous by not doing a damn thing with him. I thought it was very telling when even if thought David and Jenelle getting married was a bad idea. But I did love Barb's dig about the medicine not coming back. Ha! either someone is taking it for themselves or someone is too busy on their fucking phones to not pack it. Heaven forbid David get off his fucking phone and go so something with the boys or fucking watch them instead of letting them just do whatever and possibly hurt Kaiser. Makes me even more worried about the pool they are planning to put in.

My heart broke for Ali. Get her an aide and let her do things at her own pace. She is not like the other kids.

Do these moms just have one area they designate for filming? Like Chelsea's kitchen and couch off of the kitchen, Kail's kitchen counter, Leah's dining room table? Not counting cars and their yards. We used to see more of their houses, and it's not a big deal but slightly bugs that they feel they have to "hide" some stuff now? I blame all those who made fun of the picture above Kail's bed :P

Jenelle tweeted the cast told her. Then to save her butt she put the blame on Javi. I Don't like Javi, don't take it like I do, but he says they have no mutual friends. My guess would be because after all these  years of struggling with Ali's diagnosis, Leah still doesnt fully understand it. Even if they try to dumb it down I think the doctors still talk over Leah and Corey's heads and they're both too proud to google "MS for Dummies".

 

 Why was David the one driving and trying to calm Kaiser ? If Janelle is going to pretend to want to be Mother Goose she needs to learn to calm her own damn kids. Especially if she's in the car doing nothing but pouting.

As a mom of two special needs kids, it has always bothered me when parents don't fight for their kids to have special accommodations because they want their kids to be "normal". So I'm happy to see both Leah and Corey coming around to getting their daughter more help at school. 

I dont know if I've ever heard Leah say Muscular Dystrophy, just the doctor , so I felt her shocked look was the camera man referring to Alli's condition by name. I also felt like she was not able to explain anything at that's moment, she jut wanted to get to her daughter, which I can't blame her. 

 

Who wants to bet Jace was never given his medicine because neither Jenelle or David could be bothered to listen to Barb.

So Ali's been complaining about her legs hurting and tingling, and Leah decides taking her to a playground is a great idea? Look, I try not to judge Leah and Cory too harshly. I cannot imagine what it's like to have a child in that situation. It has to be so hard to tell your baby they can't do the things they want to do. But I really think more of an effort needs to be made to find non-physical activities for Ali. And if you ARE going to go to the other park, because I get that you have two other/active kids, bring along a sketch pad and some colored pencils. Sit with Ali while her sisters run around, and have some mommy-and-me time, drawing what you see in the park. 

I was pleased with the conversation about the aid. It seems, to me, that Cory was basically admitting he'd been in some denial - and I really can't blame him for that. Again, I have no idea what they're going through. You can tell that facing up to the reality of the situation is devastating for them, but it does sound like they're making progress in how they're handling things and I'm glad to see that. But what was with Leah after Cory called and relayed that Ali was having trouble breathing? She acted very taciturn all the sudden, about whether or not breathing issues are a symptom of her MD. Was that because she was scared as shit and couldn't wrap her mind around what this new development might mean? Or did she literally not know if it was a symptom? 

Either way, my heart was really breaking for ol Ali girl this week. She's such a sweetheart, and I just really want the best for her. 

 

I can't with Roxanne. I seriously can't. I need to put all three of these girls in their own homes, because the level of dysfunction is so out of control. Briana is right - she is so damn dramatic about EVERYTHING. Yea, the situation kind of sucks, but it's not like Briana is the first single mom in all of existence. Millions of women do it every day. And let's give Luis the chance to fuck up before we start punishing him for it. Yea, he doesn't seem that involved with his other kid, so there's a high likelihood he'll suck here too. But people can change and and there's always a chance, so why not wait and see before you start freaking out. 

I also hate how she puts EVERYTHING on Luis. "We're in this situation because he fucked up". First of all, what "we"? Second, no - you're in this situation because your daughter banged some dude from the club she barely knew without using birth control. Period. If she didn't learn what birth control was the first time around, she's stupid as hell. They are BOTH responsible. 

 

I see Jenelle's still going on about the gym. And Kaiser is having another car meltdown. Do these people not get toddlers? He wanted water. How hard is it to bring some damn water in the car? Or maybe some car games? Since it seems like he's going to be stuck in a vehicle half his life, transporting all the different siblings around to all the different baby daddies, baby mamas, grandmas, guardians, etc. 

A big fat NO to that scene where all the boys were playing outside with the 4-wheeler unsupervised. I was legit worried Jace was going to tip that thing over on Kaiser. Holy fuckballs, Jenelle, watch your kids. 

Jace doesn't seem that enamored of the new house. He kept complaining of being bored and was telling Barb he doesn't want to go there. I don't know if there's more to it, but sometimes I get worried he'll turn out very much like Jenelle, with his complete hatred of being "bored". Always needing entertainment. I think they said the video game system is broken? My kids would love being out in the woods and running around looking for creatures. I don't know what his life is like a Barb's, but I really hope he's not developing those same traits as his mother. 

 

As much as I think Jenelle is a total shithead, I LOVED that she outed Kail's pregnancy. Ha, take that Kail! It's just that the Hulk is such a control freak, and I love that it all got away from her. I don't know if Javi really told people, don't really care. This is what she gets for thinking she's so clever and could hide this shit for as long as she did. 

Her scenes are just fucking lame, though. I was sitting there watching her read Tweets. Seriously???? Is this what it has come to??? At this point, as much as I loathe the coven, at least they are participating. Throw Kail out and replace her with Briana. See how she likes that.

@ghoulina I cannot with Roxanne sometimes (okay ever). Briana is an adult woman, she has no mental illness or disabilities that would prevent her from being able to consent to intercourse or use contraceptives. She CHOSE to have unprotected sex with Luis and continue on with this pregnancy. As far as living her life, Briana wasn't doing much before anyway. Nova is FIVE, she wasn't in school or working all of this time. Briana reminds me so much of Leah (minus the marriages), she's not an evil human being or a neglectful caregiver but she has no common sense or long term planning skills. Brittany has at least grown up and learned from her mistakes and has a job (and no kids). 

It was good to see Corey this episode, I do think a part of how they deal with Ali's illness is wanting her to be "typical", but she's NOT, that doesn't mean she's less than. If she's suffering and falling at school then yes she needs an aid and her wheelchair.

Yea, when he reached his hand back there, I cringed because I was expecting him to hurt him in some way. I think that was likely David's instinct as well, but he quickly realized the cameras were there and started tickling him instead.

That legit scared me when they were in the car. He TURNED ALL THE WAY AROUND to put his hand on Kaiser and yell. Something tells me that he would have physically disciplined him and that would have worked, but since Kaiser kept crying, it shows that neither can handle him without abusive tactics (and I personally don't consider a little swat to be abuse, but you never do it angry like David was). Obviously something he does "works" because jenelle called him last week to calm him down. 

But let's go back to DAVID TURNED ALL THE WAY AROUND IN THE CAR. It wasn't for a second either! I got more and more scared as the car kept going down the road while David CLEARLY wasn't looking...AT ALL! Holy shit, how have they not gotten in 50,000 accidents by now?! And then I noticed there was a car behind them, too, so it wasn't some deserted road. I would be very scared to be behind them, because if they hit something or ran a red might, I might be in the line of fire! IDIOTS!!!!

I got the feeling David told her to say something on camera about having her own gym equipment so that they come across as all is good after last week's argument and she agreed. But, being Janelle, she then gets in a dig that work needs to be done on the house so she can use it in her own home which was a FU to David since he is the one who will have to do the work.  I found it interesting she would rather take a dig at David then present the "happy couple" fakeness. I feel bad for Leah, I think that she and Corey have a heavy lift with Ali. I really hope that Leah is getting counseling to deal with Ali. 

OMG Brianna, yes, the situation sucks. If she really was serious about adoption, she could move forward if she really wanted to. I don't know if this adoption thing was just for a storyline or if she really wanted to go that direction. Luis seems pretty passive about it. Brianna will never be out on her own now.  It sucks But why does Roxanne insist that only Luis fucked up. And honestly, if Brianna really didn't want to have the baby, she could have gotten an abortion without Luis. I am just getting tired of looking at her sad sack face and her sighing about the situation.

I find it awfully convenient that Marissa goes away with grandparents and now David's nephew comes over for weekend. Those two will do anything to try to keep the kids occupied so they don't have interact with them for extended periods of time.

Watching Ali describe how she has trouble breathing is so heartbreaking. I hope the school provided an aide for her and if not, Cori and Leah need to contact an advocacy group to fight to get Ali the services she is entitled to.

So when will the Coven get in Brianna's ass about continually making poor choices? Glad to see that Briana has a day job but how long will it last once the TM checks start rolling in.

Absolutely!  He was about to either hit him or grab his arm and squeeze it... the cameras saved Kaiser.  And when he was like, "hold my hand," I was wondering why he would pretend like he was trying to hold hands with a kid in the back seat.  That was all kinds of weird and obviously a cover-up.

Yup. And this is the main reason I don't want the show to end....even though the girls don't deserve it. It's the only thing protecting some of these kids.

I, too was glad to hear Corey say he had been thinking she would get better. However, if this was filmed in March they still had her playing t-ball 2 months later and even posted videos of her running to bases saying prayer worked. :/

I get how Leah and Corey had hope when there really wasn't any. But I can't get it outta my mind that 2-3yrs back Dr Tsao told Leah she needed to think about Ali's Make-A-Wish so that she could have that experience while she was still able to do something. It stuck with me because I thought it was such an honest and difficult thing for him to say. And those chucklefucks had her at Tball and the playground instead of giving her that once in a lifetime experience.

It was so funny watching the twitter drama play out on tv. They cut to commercial and froze on Kail's huge gaping maw as she was furiously reading and liking the tweets. Most of these clowns seem completely obsessed with twitter and it was interesting to see it go down in real time.  I can't imagine what it's like to be 25 years old and sitting around with a friend repeatedly refreshing twitter and then re tweeting or liking or replying to all those tweets from strangers.  Also I'm confused about the PFA. Kail isn't allowed to text him but she can tweet about him?
