In case it was said that FF "helped by cleaning up crumbs," vs. "helped clean up crumbs," I apologize for minimizing his crumb-cleaning skilz. 

Of course, my dogs were the best. ever. at cleaning up any crumbs within their reach. (Now that I don't have a dog in the house, I have to sweep the kitchen floor surprisingly often!)

Maybe Anna should get a dog to take care of the crumbs.

That's a good, fair sentence that takes into consider that he's already hurt victims in his home and the content of the CP downloaded.  I am ecstatic that it's over 10 years and beyond happy it's over 12.  To put this into perspective, my worse case ever, where the guy had terabytes of "littles" (I'll leave that your imagination), got 13 years, with three of those years coming for a chat transcript where he talked about grooming crackhead parents to get access to their kids.  That was an EXTRAORDINARY sentence for no victims.  So, Josh got a bigger sentence than normal (8ish years) largely due to the prosecutor's hard work.  I take my hat off to them.  Excellent work, AUSAs.  I think the work they did in getting his sister's abuse admitted is the difference in this case.  Without showing he's already contact offended, Josh would be looking at 7 to 8 years.

Judge Brooks wants Josh to go to the prison in Seagoville because it has a good sex offender program, but that determination depends on bed space.

Josh Duggar's wife, Anna Duggar, had no reaction when the sentence was determined, The Sun's court reporter noted.

His father, Jim Bob Duggar, also did not visibly react.

I hope Texas just because it’s further. I know they have planes and stuff but I’d like to make it as difficult as possible. (Although the Arkansas one is probably as far as you could get from Duggarland and still be in AR.)

I have some people who work in the prison in our area shop in my store. Fun fact the prisons have no AC and it gets hot and humid in Texas.

She will be 34 next month (approximately 46 when he gets out). She could still possibly have a few more children, but would she want to start over with a baby after dealing with teenagers for the past 12 years. Also, if he’s a sex offender, could they be on her if she allows him back into the house with minor children.

Yes, she's the youngest. 

It's entirely possible that Ofsmuggar might be fertile, and thus NOT in menopause, in 12.5 years. One of my aunts had one at 47.

Yup, she's the baby. The rest follow upwards in 2 year spans. The oldest will be 24 in 12 years.

It's not unheard of for women to have babies at this age - even older - but at least she's going to have to get off the baby train for awhile!

Yes, she's M7.

eta Anna's mother had her last at 43. Her oldest sister is currently pregnant at 41.

I believe the 12.5 years includes the nearly 6 months he's already served. So it's closer to 12 years from now.

Not necessarily. I was 50 when I first started going through menopause. I have a friend who was almost 43 when she had her last child. Hopefully no more babies. I can't imagine Anna would want to try and get pregnant the second he gets out and at 46.

The third best part -- you might have a husband Anna but he's in PRISON.   So you might as well be <gasp> Single.

Yesterday I said I'd be happy if he had to serve at least the full 5 years, taking time served into consideration.  I am very happy with 12 years.  This has been a crappy month with a lot of bad news, him getting a decent sentence is at least one bright spot.
