from the reddit recap =closing prosecution arguments it would seem the "family members" and the sleeze bag felon are not a possibility

"Timeline in Exhibits 3 and 4 demonstrate that Josh was the one using the computer in May to download CP and throughout the day texting his family and using the computer for other uses"

Some of the testimony is very graphic. Aside from the victims, I'm hoping at least one Duggar (aside from Jill) listened in. The family needs to know what a monster Josh really is, rather than form opinions based on Boob's sugar-spun version of events.

The reddit account says that there is a John on the zoom but no last name so maybe JD or not. Also Lauren S (using her maiden name)?

Is there any indication JB and/or Michelle are listening in? If the details are graphic, maybe they need to hear them as well to fully appreciate what their son has done.

Has Josiah been brought up? He was on the zoom last week and was working at the car lot at the time. Also he's been MIA from the public so there was speculation he was heavily questioned?

That is why I am hoping it is JD.

If the Duggars won't or can't, I hope one of the spouses does.

How does Jim Bob continue to support this pervert and not just completely disown him? JB, YOU have some culpability here.  This is a prime example of why you address this type of behavior immediately. You don’t send the kid to dig ponds and talk to “the church”.  It’s so disgusting to think this is what came out of their big secret.

Rot in jail pervert.

Some of the siblings who didn't observe might also have the privilege of having everything explained to them in Michelle's breathy tones if they're lucky, or not.

The closing argument worries me:

"Not a danger to the community. If law enforcement thought that he was a danger they could’ve detained him back in 2019, but they didn’t."

For this bond hearing, the defense has to prove he's not a danger to the community and this point they made is striking to me.

Of course They also have to prove he's not a flight risk. That one I hope is harder. He did do a lot to conceal his activities - no reason he wouldn't do more to conceal his departure.

Me too. He already hates Josh and could probably handle it better than the others.

He is married to one of the more "worldly" wives, so he and Abbie might be able to have a semi-legit conversation about it and the implications. How old is their daughter?

I think he is the best to handle it and I also think he does not like Josh. Deep down I think he hates him.

I’m not a Jill fan but I keep thinking about how she’s only allowed at the TTH by invitation but this POS has the run of the place???

I also keep thinking about how there was a drastic change in Jessa and Joy once they had girls.  Overnight all the spunk and spirit seems to have drained out of  them. If this investigation was going on and they knew about it I can understand why now.

Almost 6 pm in Arkansas.  How late will they allow this to go?  And if they don't finish will it even be possible to continue tomorrow, or are all the slots full?

According to the poster on reddit who recapped the closing arguments, the judge took a break. She didn't declare the hearing in recess until tomorrow  [or another day] AFAIK, which indicates to me that she intends to rule on the matters today.

I think it's possible that she could set bail for Josh but declare the proffered third party guardians weren't acceptable. Which would mean that Josh would need to propose someone else who is found acceptable before being able to bond out. Of course she could also reluctantly accept the Reavers although as reported via reddit that situation seems kind of half-assed (firearms, wife says husband decided and she supports, kids coming in for piano lessons, Josh's bedroom has its own outside door).

Anna had to know. What other family knew about the addiction?  I pray that Josh never ever changed a diaper not once or was in the vicinity. DO NOT READ THE REDACTED from Reddit’s “First Witness”! You will regret it for the rest of your life. Hugs to those that did. JB and Michelle can rot in hell and deserve to lose their family over this. Every single member.

I actually hope the siblings don't listen to this. I clicked on the reddit testimony and I regret it. And this is not related to me at all. I can imagine that especially for his four abused sisters that this testimony could be extremely triggering.

Can someone explain to me the situation with Kendra's parents and the house they had been living in before a purported fallout with JB?    I thought I had read here that that house was adjacent to the car lot?

Elsewhere I read that there has been talk Joe and Josiah are two people Josh had tried to point the investigation towards.    If true I suspect I could hazard a pretty good guess about the falling out between the families.

decision - again from the reddit recap

Josh Duggar will be released on very strict conditions:

- Cannot be returned to his guest house or TTH

- Court is not interested in second chances. Don't fuck up with the Reavers. (paragraphsed)

- Tomorrow Josh will be released to the Reavers with close GPS monitoring. Restricted to this residence except for working, education, church, medical services, meeting with lawyers, court ordered obligation, or other activities approved IN ADVANCE by the probation office.

- May not possess or view pornography or erotica of any kind

- Court does not think it has the technology to limit Josh's use. Josh cannot have computers, phones, smart TVs, gaming systems, etc. He may not ask for the passwords from the Reavers or her daughter.

- Josh can get a jitterbug phone to contact counsel as long as it's approved by a probation officer.

- Josh cannot leave the Western District of Arkansas.

- Josh can have unlimited contact with his children as long as their mother is present. Josh cannot have contact with any other minor children including siblings, family members, piano students, etc.

- Not a requirement but a recommendation: Plan activities based on who he might run into. Avoid birthday parties, etc.

- No substances, drugs or alcohol

- Cannot actually or constructively possess a firearm

- Must surrender passport and not obtain a new passport

- May not violate any state or local law

- Must provide a DNA sample

- Must appear in court as requested

- Tomorrow must sign an appearance bond

Different car lot. Jed runs an actual lot.

Anna seems to have decent maternal instinct for the M's. I hope maternal instinct will overpower whatever bond she has with Josh but I'm not hopeful.

This is bulls*t. Unlimited access to his children as long as their brainwashed mother that he has completely buffaloed is present??

I know. Save the M's!

“Cannot be returned to his guest house or TTH”.

I guess the Reavers will facilitate his time with his children. I saw no mention of where he’d see them, just where he can’t.

Josh has two daughters in the age range of the horrific material he was viewing and he's allowed unlimited access? Jesus God. I thought for sure they'd insist all visitation take place at one of those supervised centers. This is insane.

I doubt the two I highlighted will be an issue.

I feel bad for Mrs. Reavers. Not only will she be in t he house all day with someone she isn't comfortable with, she stated so in court to be used against her.

So Anna can go to the Reavers home and she's fine supervision? God I hope the bond is too high to pay.

but it has to be where he is staying or in a court approved location - not the warehouse or the TTH it seems

Since he can't be around minor children, that's not many places the court can approve.
