Not sure if this is the one you are looking for but this one is about the pastor.

ETA:  If you can hear the video on this page, it really reminds me of Jim Jones.  Wow! I would rather see Josh in strip clubs and looking at porn than listening to this crap.

Link to video.  The page is strange and hard to navigate.

Yes, that's exactly what her parents believe and have espoused. Per Pa Keller, when Josh and Anna got married, he transferred authority over Anna to Josh. Josh is her headship which means Josh is an extension of God in their cult.

For some reason, the word 'headship' cracks me up. Josh, my boy, your little headship is gonna keep on getting you in trouble...

Jinx

My husband had that version. Around here, you're not allowed to talk until I say your name (which, of course, I already did).

Oh, we had a combined version. You owed the coke, and you couldn't talk! (We're just that hard core around here...) Edited by JenCarroll

She may think of her as a celebrity; hopefully not as someone to worship.

Hope so. Although I don't think the term "celebrity worship" was invented for nothing. Seems to me people tend to follow the lead of celebrities, a lot of time, and that's a big part of worship.

In the article, it says that the pastor told his young victim that God signed off on their having sex. Sorry, this is a hard conversation to gauge taste level in.

I liked your comment, sorry for the misunderstanding,   I only meant to say that I give a thumbs down to the pastor.

Like Josh said in his apology, he's learning things the hard way.

The ROL info re JD's Rockford and Paragould flights was somewhat confusing. But I just located the flight recs for the Duggar plane during that entire week. Make of them what you will --

*August 24 - Dep Springdale 9:00 pm, Arr San Antonio (KSAT) 2:41 am

No return flight listed with this aircraft fr San Antonio back to Springdale - or anywhere else.

*August 24 - Dep Springdale 10:45 pm, Arr Chicago/Rockford KFRD 12:17 am

*August 25 - Dep Chicago/Rockford 12:25 am, Arr Springdale 3:03 am  This is the "Bye, Felicia" flight.

Then, after we thought Josh had already been delivered to RU:

*August 27th, Dep Springdale 9:04 am, Arr Paragould (Kirk Field) 10:11 am

*August 27th, Dep Paragould 6:18 pm, Arr Springdale 7:22 pm

I just found the flight recs for JD's round trip flight fr Springdale to Kirk Field in Paragould. On Thursday, August 27th, he left Springdale at 8:00 am, arrived Kirk Field at 10:11 am, then spent 6 hours 45 minutes in Paragould before taking off for Springdale at 5:00 that same day. He then flew to Rockford early the next morning. So nearly 7 hours in Paragould and only a little over 7 minutes in Rockford. Busy - and likely quite tired - boy, that JD! What's it all about, Alfie?

Ok, y'all are reading the FlightAware history wrong.  The round trip to Paragould with most of the day spent there happened on Aug 27.  The "next" two flights in the list are the return flight from Rockford, followed by the flight to Rockford.  And the "flight" after that was a flight plan filed from Springdale to San Antonio, departing an hour & forty-five minutes before the Rockford flight, and evidently neither flown (it happens) nor cancelled (it happens, but it's very bad form).

The flight history shows up in reverse chronological order.  (Gosh, that was a lot less keystrokes).  And HundFan got her reply in there ahead of me.

So, while the Paragould trip is a mystery, I think the aborted San Antonio flight is a lot more interesting.

I just e-mailed RU and asked them for the locations of their treatment centers.  I had to answer a math question in order to send my e-mail.  The math problem given was 12+11.  I answered 23.  They told me my answer was wrong! So they gave me another problem.  12 + 7.  I answered 19.  I got it right!  I'll let you know if and when I hear back.

So he's not at RU after all?

Either that, or he's not appearing anywhere outside the RU compound. Seems to me it could go either way. He and they might want to avoid having media -- or people on the street -- coming up to him with questions, accusations, etc. So it seems possible that he could just be confined to barracks, for everybody's protection and convenience, doesn't it?

Sounds like Josh isn't ready for rehab. Honestly, he's a POS, but I can't blame him. His family's non-help is not needed now.

JB need to sell that plane. The Cessna of Secrets is giving the media all kids of stories!

Edit: Just when the Duggars can't fumble this stuff any more, they do. It's weirdly fascinating.

I wonder whether other people don't occasionally rent the plane to fly themselves. Plenty of private pilots don't own their own planes or don't have them available all the time. Wouldn't Jim Bob want to make whatever money he could from his vehicles instead of having them sit idle unless the family's using them? ... I think some of the flights that get everybody curious may be red herrings.

Guys, he's totally got to be at RU but the plan was for people to think he was at Shepherd's Fold, hence the daytime trip and long stay in Paragould to be seen, and then the midnight, seven minutes and out of there trip to Rockford to whisk him away to RU.  Poor JimBoob, his master plan of trickery and tomfoolery was exposed and backfired!

So do Mac, Michael, Marcus, and Merideth carry the "sins of their father"? If so I'm thinking they will have to go outside the Gothardite circle to find someone to marry.

I imagine they'll run like hell outside the Gothardite circle to find someone to marry.

I just want you all to know that I now have an earworm with the refrain "Camp Scamafundie." And that's not even a real song.

I wonder if the Duggars would really have gone to such trouble to create a false trail for where Josh went. I believe they did. In what passes for JimBob's "brain," he probably thought he was being clever. And I suspect Josh was desperate to get away from JimBob and the rest, even if it meant going to Camp Scamafundie (wherever it really is) for 6 months.

I believe it.     Jim Bob is that stupid.

Here's the link to JD's recent flight history:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N68SY

This is the plane's flight history, though, not JD's. There's no reason they can't be renting a plane out to other private pilots who don't own their own planes or whose planes are in the shop or whatever. Plenty of people do rent out their planes to other private pilots. I can't see Jim Bob passing up a buck if he had any takers.

Checking their flights and stuff seems a bit stalkerish

How else are we going to know the truth?

That's what happens when your husband's at Burning Man and you've already walked the dogs. I am not ashamed. This is research.

Truth!

Folks, this research is interesting, and it's publically available information, but we don't have to turn this into an episode of CSI. Josh is wherever he is, and the plane goes where it goes - we don't know who is on it. I think we've covered what we can reasonably assume, but trying to pin this guy down to a specific room in a specific building is going to cross the line, ok? Let the paparazzi handle that.

And remember, if something is bothering you on the forums, REPORT, DON'T ENGAGE.

To be totally fair, 12 + 11 = 23 probably is wrong according to the wisdom booklets.

I'd just like to clarify that coming up with Shepherd's Fold was a result of a one-minute google search (keywords: "Paragould ministry"). There's really no concrete connection between SF and the Duggars, just my own flimsy googling.

That would be pretty funny HundFan, not a bad idea. I don't know when they livestream or even how to do it so I don't know if I could volunteer. I am also reluctant(OK Chicken) to open an account with them. I see that place as scammy and nasty.

Can Joe Smithson open an account?

Our names could all be variations of Joe Smithson.

Joel, Joanne, Josephine etc etc.

Maybe they are are looking at the expenditures as an investment in their future. They gotta get something going, and if they have to spend some cash to do it, well, they are just going to have to do it, gosh darn it!

I worked in residential treatment 150 years ago right out of college and I'm wondering if Josh is on some type of postive reinforcement system where he hasn't yet earned any privledges such as leaving the unit.

Can you briefly explain what process happens to you the minute you enter. Perhaps that will help us to better understand what Josh has/is experiencing.

This makes sense but I have to say that if going to that 'service' is a reward I wouldn't be in a hurry to get better

As I said this was 150 years ago but the patients were not allowed out of their rooms for the first 3 days. During that time they had to write a detailed auto biography stating why they were there and their goals. After that they had to earn privledges based on behavoir. This was a non religious diagnostic unit so it may be totally different for Josh.

This makes sense but I have to say that if going to that 'service' is a reward I wouldn't be in a hurry to get better

I know, right?! The place I worked at was a hospital that was converted into a diagnostic center so everything contained within the building . The only exception was Sun church services. You know how there are no athesists in foxholes? Well there are no athesist on a inpatient diagnostic unit either!! Praise God!

I have to say, I did wonder about that. Because with most of their patients, as appalled as I am about the thought of requiring someone in recovery to be televised, they could have some thought about humbling them to help break down their egos so they could be rebuilt stronger (which is actually not too different from the reasoning Betty Ford and Hazelden use for making their celebrity patients do housework, to use a less toxic example).

But with Josh, pointing a camera at him is a reward. See, America wants to see Josh Duggar on TV so bad they're tuning in to watch him sit on a pew! He's still got it! This too shall pass and Jim Bob will get him an even _better_ job!

I would think the best way to break Josh Duggar would be to deny him attention, positive or negative. Oh, and make him do housework.

If this is a red herring, they also had the benefit of garnering a small amount of sympathy for Josh. Six months in a brain washing prision seems a harsh punishment for internet porn and adultery.

Anna seems to be staying put, so now my hopes are pinned on Josh being unable to complete the rehab, and leaving Anna. I don't think he will change, so maybe he can leave.

Could Josh have gone to the rehab in Arkansas so that his wife and children may visit more often?  I don't understand all the secrecy and wasting time, resources and plane fuel to pull off some sort of ruse.  What? Do they think he's some sort of major celebrity or something?

I'm pretty sure you forgot to add one for the Holy Ghost.

12+11=GOD. Obviously.

On Moral Oral, the answer to almost all science questions is Jesus, so I think you're on to something here.

It is likely RU did not let Joshie out of the building yet.  They may be trying to figure out how they will handle the public scrutiny.  However, I really like the thought of Josh on the lam, trying to blend in with the town folk, not being able to get any work because his combination of a lack of skills and an over-inflated sense of his own worth render him unemployable, using his last few dollars to get into a porn theater.  I can dream . . .

It's too bad they weren't allowed to read growing up. This has distinct Orwellian 1984 vibe. I believe in the book it was 2+2=5

I agree about the keeping sweet thing Anna and Jana and Jill have...I know they are working what they have been taught. But Anna is a good mother, I think..other than the cult-think she will perpetuate with her children. Her children are well behaved and seem to have little personalities. The Duggar littles don't. So, that gives Anna some slack from me. Jill's reaction on that interview broke my heart. Just cracked it. She seemed like that little girl again..the one pretending she was sleeping..pretending so hard so that her brother might fuck right off and get out of her room.

Jessa..not so much. Jessa using the word sly..I cant get her smirk and her use of that word out of my head.

But like I said...just my instincts alone here. I dont know these girls at all.

I just know that if I was to have to pick them on sincerity or perceived sincerity...Jill and Anna come across as more "christian"...real christian...not phony swaggart christian, like Jessa does.

I'm with you on Jessa.  I will never forget her chasing down Hannie, and physically restraining her on the floor to force a nap.  She's a better spirit breaker than Michelle and JB combined.  Hope she has all boys.

I'm wondering where the heck he truly is.

Why lie when it's so easy to figure things out? Is he in a real rehab facility (Dr. Drew to the rescue) and not Gothard approved?

I've read a number of interesting theories so far -- here is my take:

1. Maybe they flew up to Rockford, and turned around and came back. I could easily see JB expecting to get Josh "treated" for free because of all the free publicity, etc. It may be that at the last minute they couldn't come to terms, and JB insisted Josh come back.

2. A related theory, perhaps JB sent him up there, found a better deal in the interim, and called him back. One thing that did surprise me about RU was the lack of contact. I don't think JB would be okay -- at all -- with no contact for 10 days, and no visits for 45 days. He needs control. He wants to be there at Sunday service every week breathing down Josh's neck, making sure that he is displaying proper repentence in his "witnessing," etc.

3. This is related to a theory that someone else posted -- but it could be true -- that Josh actually wants real treatment. If Josh still has health insurance though the end of the year, he could attend a real treatment program with real therapists, etc. If he did that, I could see JB enrolling him in RU as a cover. He would certainly lose face in Gothard-land if Josh was being treated by "satanic" professionals.

ETA: Sorry I was posting this in response to an earlier post, and didn't see the mod note. If this is off-limits, please delete.

He's touring the facilities. And picking up slack.

And everyone who loves Cake is really not happy with me right now. ;-)

Now I imagine poor runaway Josh hiding under a highway overpass singing "I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnng jacket......"
