Yep. As someone who's lived it, it's frustrating as hell but it's reality. Pretending you're 'normal' doesn't work and everyone around you pretending you're 'normal' doesn't either. You have to learn to live with it. It sucks, but it's true. It seems to me like Ali is adapting as best she can. I just wish they'd follow doctor's orders so she can live her best for as long as possible, if that makes any sense.

I've also lived it and am living with it still, it is sucky. I do think it's combination of Ali having a bad day with her disability-been there for sure- and also there is a new baby who is getting Corey and Miranda's attention. I do wonder why no one is using the wheelchair. Also, I know it was last weeks episode but I still wish Leah hadn't taken Ali to Grace's tumbling, only because it reinforces what she can't do.

Finally getting to watch the episode.

Jenelle is so full of crap. If she's seeing molecules perhaps she should try new glasses?  I do feel for her if she's got all of those things going on but c'mon really? I do understand what she's saying about wanting a doctor who doesn't automatically judge her from her history though.

@WhosThatGirl me too, I still live with it, and it does suck in a lot of ways. Better than the alternative though, as my Mom always says. I didn't so much mind Leah taking Ali to the tumbling, but I wish she'd had a more appropriate activity to do - as I mentioned before maybe she could use her crafty skills to make decorations or stars for the walls, something like that.

Kail seriously? EVERYONE has a "24 hour" job if you want to look at it that way. I just threw some laundry in the dryer, do I get credit for that?

Chelsea and Cole's scene with Aubree was cute. Hate to say this because I mostly like Chelsea but I wouldn't doubt she told Adam at the last minute.

Leah haha are you serious? Your kids don't drink soda? So what did she have in her car seat, fake Sprite? At least she acknowledged the weight loss. I found the video weird because it was apparently filmed in a bedroom that Ali can't even get to.

I just feel bad for Ali, she was upset after watching Grace do cheer given that she couldn't. It just makes me sad because I totally understand what Ali goes though.

And I feel for Ali with the backpack thing, backpacks are horrible. I just don't like the idea that Miranda is a villain in all this, there's probably more to the story- a story we will never hear because Miranda isn't our teen mom for this show. Our teen mom is Leah. It's kind of strange how the editors flipped the narrative on Leah these past couple of episodes.

It was cute how Aubree wanted both Cole and Adam there. And yes, if Chelsea texted him at the last minute, that's no good but even so, what was he doing that he couldn't not attend the father daughter dance? I really want to know. I suppose he's going to say he was working at the gym or whatever he does. Either way, I don't get it. Just show up. His words are just words to me. I get that it may be uncomfortable to share time with Cole, but then again he's always talking about how since Chelsea and Cole are engaged and he acts all cool about the situation, then he should put his money where his mouth is and deal with it. Obviously, Cole is going to be around. Adam will probably have to see him at functions for Aubree.

I don't think Chelsea texted Adam at the last minute, but even if she did, that's missing the point.  Something is wrong with the co-parenting picture if Adam has to learn everything about his daughter through Chelsea.  If he really gave a shit, he would be a present and engaged father who knows what's going on in her life, including upcoming father/daughter dances.  It's not Chelsea's responsibility to inform Adam of really anything, esp. now as he doesn't have any custody.

True, but I think Chelsea feels a responsibility to tell him of these things because she's on this show. If she didn't tell him anything, she would get so much hate, and I'm sure Adam would post something on social media. It really is for her being between a rock and a hard place. It just proves the point that Adam doesn't really care, you're right, he is not engaged at all with Aubree.

"...and Remy gets all the attention."  Sounds like Ali has some new sibling jealousy and learned from her mother how to blame things on Miranda.

When Janelle was listing all her symptoms I was thinking one of 2 things:

Either she is in withdrawal or she is making shit up to get Xanax or benzos

It doesn't really matter what doctor she goes to. Unless she ends up at a pill mill, no  legit dr is going to prescribe that to her given her history. When she was bitching about the doctor not giving her Xanax it wasnt about her symptoms it was for anxiety.

She was totally in addict speak. I wonder if her regular supply dried up, she was totally doctor shopping. But I was surprised about going to NYC. I figured there are other states that make it easier to get scripts. Can you buy controlled substances like Xanax over the counter in Mexico?

The whole controversial video thing was just a bunch of malarkey.  I guess Leah doesn't know that it is typical for kids to have jealousy of a new child and the natural attention that they get.  Miranda may not be able to carry her backpack because she has her hands full with her child.  I would have talked to my child about it and talked to Corey about it, but not made it into Miranda being the wicked step mother who is being so mean and neglectful to her child...just because she didn't birth her.  And if Leah wants to compare who has neglected her children more....she won't like that competition.

I felt for Chelsea and for Aubree...and heck...and for Cole in that whole situation.  If I was Chelsea and still hadn't heard back from Adam when it was either the day of or even the day before the dance, I just would have texted Adam back that since I hadn't heard from him that Cole is taking her to the dance.  That would have either lit a fire under him to go....or at least let Aubree not be constantly wondering if Other Dad is gonna come.  Poor kiddo.

Jenelle.  She sure has symptoms when it is convenient.  I also laughed at how indignant she was that an office would dare to close at 4pm.  When she left she should have asked how long it would take to get results and the process.  But that wouldn't make sense...right Jenelle???  Barb also needs to stop talking to Jenelle in the car on speaker phone with Jace there.  He doesn't need to hear all of that.

Kail and Javi.  I can never have much of a reaction to the scenes between them (I guess I have no emotions either)...because I know they are done in the current timeline.  I definitely think Kail could be more supportive....however I agree with her that in the little scenes we have seen...she has asked him how he is doing and what she can do to help him...and to keep his head up and what have you.  So....for someone who is open that this kind of thing is hard for her, I do see her as trying.   I did like seeing Kail and Vee hanging out.  I like that in real time...that she and Vee and Jo are pretty good friends with one another.  Given how Isaac's family is about to rocked once again, it's nice to know that the other side of his family seems stable.

Backpackgate - Leah, if you were a responsible, present mother, your disabled child's stepmother wouldn't have to schlept her premie in and out of the school.

And why are the Girlses with Victoria when Leah is "fighting" to have custody of the Girlses.

So much this.  If Adam wants to be part of Aubree's life, he needs to step up.  She's in school, there's definitely school calendar and/or newsletter listing events.  Most likely it's online.  How is it Chelsea's job to tell him about it?

History has shown that even when he's been told directly about things like t-ball games, he's too busy to attend.  If he wants to be involved in her life, he needs to make an effort.  It's not up to anyone else.  Sounds like he skipped daddy/daughter for a powerlifting competition.  Yep, that sounds about right.

You can buy anything there if you have the cash.  Things like Tramadol, Viagra, and some antibiotics are sold otc; stronger stuff, you have to see a "doctor"(paid for in cash), get a "prescription", etc.

The disturbing video is disturbing indeed, but not for the reasons why the bumpkin clan wants it to be. First, as several have already pointed out, the girls are not at coreys, so then they just be on leah's time, but they are at dawn's. Second, it's completely natural for a kid to freak out about that stuff with a new babyaround. And calling Miranda a lazy bitch? Who was it that raised your kids while she was pregnant and you were in rehab? And I think leah had a lot of trouble trying to get herself worked up over the whole thing, because unlike her sister, she's had three kids all trying to do something and manage them. I'm sure the kid has made the same childish complaint about her, too, but chastity wasn't having it. Stir up that drama.

I can picture Jenelle having that same exact conversation with Jace in 20 years, except she'll be in some trailer park, wearing stone washed cut offs and the new squeeze will be some Sugar Bear look alike toothless drunkard. Her voice will be all scratchy and gnarled like she's been smoking 3 packs a day.

Jace: Mom, did you go to the doctor?

Jenelle: Yeah I went to the doctor and they didn't do a goddamned thing for me!

Jace: Mom, watch your language. You're on the cah-phone.

At one point, Barb was even laughing at Jenelle. I was too. Poor Jace always looks exhausted during those conversations.

I'm not going to discount Ali's account of that day with Miranda. She's a sweet little girl. If her stepmother did or said something to her that made her feel bad, as her mother (or father) I'd be concerned too. What I don't like is Leah's relatives fanning flames and purposely instigating problems with Leah and Corey. What was the purpose of video taping that? The way she called Leah up all exasperated and out of breath, I thought I was going to see something much more heinous.

Lincoln, you little monster. You do such mean things with a straight face, but you're so cute, I can't help but laugh. You're the house cat of Teen Mom.

Oh no, Aubree is doing the baby voice now.

Of course Adumb didn't come to the Father-Daughter dance. Of course he didn't. Chelsea mentioned on the aftershow that he had some gym thing, a body building competition, etc. It's not even that his muscles trump his daughter - my issue is that he didn't even let anyone know. So here's Aubree waiting around to see if he will just show up. If Cole wasn't in her life, she wouldn't have even been able to go and probably would have felt really left out. I don't think Adumb considers his daughter's feelings at all. He just comes around when it's convenient for him. I don't really care if Chelsea pushes Cole a little too much. I'm just happy Aubree has a guy in her daily life who is there for her and makes her happy.

Watching Kail and Javi continues to be ten shades of awkward. Javi appears like he's trying to pick a fight from overseas, and Kail appears to not give two figs about what he's going through. They really are just such a mismatch. Javi is incredibly needy, and Kail is a stone cold bitch. She said on the aftershow that it's "hard for her" to hear him tell about his day, because it's exactly the same every time. Oh boo hoo, Kail. The monotony of your husband's overseas life is hard for YOU to deal with. Give me a freaking break.

It was cool that she's trying to make friends with Vee. I really wish Javi would be more supportive of that relationship (and with Jo), but I guess given their current status it doesn't even matter. I do have to say, Kail is stronger than I am. I could never be friends with Vee, simply because of how she talks. Every other thing out of her mouth was either "or something" & "and stuff....". I was about to lose my mind.

I'm about to really lose my shit with Leah. First we have Cory expressing concerns about Ali's diet and weight, and Leah just brushes it off - "She eats fine with me". Oh really? You think burned ravioli at midnight or going to school with no breakfast is "eating fine". This is the woman who lets her kids hoover Cheetos off the carpet and eat cans of frosting with a spoon (as long as they're at the table). I think I'll go by what Cory said, considering we've seen him be way more on top of things than Leah. So then Leah takes the kid to the doctor and proves that Ali is fine because she's within the "normal" range for her height. That very well may be true, but did she mention to the doctor that Ali is LOSING weight? That's not normal. I bet she didn't. Then she leaves the appointment and promptly allows the kid to start guzzling down a Sprite. That's right, a Sprite. Deny, deny, Leah, but that green bottle is totally recognizable.

Then we have the video. The shocking video that exposes Miranda for the horrible child-abuser that she is! Mwahahahaha!

Okay, first of all - why was cousin Chasity even recording Leah's kids in the first place. That whole thing smacked of a setup, aimed to manipulate the girlses into giving up something, ANYTHING, on their dad and/or his wife, so Leah is finally off of the hot seat. I wasn't impressed.

Ali didn't even seem that upset with it, just typical kid complaining. And older kids ALWAYS complain about babies getting more attention than them, that's just how it works.  But we weren't there and it wasn't on camera. SO we don't even know what really happened. Did Miranda just mean she couldn't help at that exact minute, until she got the baby situated? I mean, she does have a newborn and it's certainly not easy to juggle all three. Did Gracie end up helping? Did a school employee come help? Does Ali carry her own backup most days? Despite her disability, is that something she can do, but was being a bit whiny that morning? How heavy was the backpack? How far was the walk?

At any rate, Leah can save her righteous indignation. Miranda has been shown to be nothing but loving and caring to those two little girls ever since she came one the scene. And Leah has been shown to let other kids play on her wheelchair, to tell Ali to use her chair as a last resort. She bought a house with a mess of stairs. We have seen her forgetting or neglecting to feed her children. Texting, crying, and nodding off while driving them. So if Miranda can't hold a backpack one day, I think I'll cut her some slack.

But I'm sure the Leah fans are blowing up the internet over this, because Miranda is a monster and Leah is mother of the year.

Jenelle was cracking me up so hard this episode. She traveled all the way to NY for an imagined illness. I'll tell you exactly why no one can figure out what's wrong with her. It's all in her head! And I'm not even trying to be mean about it, because I've done the same thing. I have anxiety issues, and last summer I had several months where I thought something was wrong with me. I was having chest pains and trouble breathing, accompanied by extreme dizziness. I eventually saw a doc, and nothing was wrong with me. I figured I probably had one little pain one day, and my mind went running with it! That's the thing, our minds are very powerful. And they can subconsciously create things that seem very very real. I still had "symptoms" after being cleared by the doctor, but I knew it might just be in my head, so I didn't start hopping on planes to get another diagnosis.

Although, it's also possible Jenelle left the state because she couldn't get anymore Xanax. I don't know what the laws/system are like in her state, but to be flagged a Benzo abuser sounds pretty serious. I know when I was working as a pharmacy tech, the only way you got flagged was because you were literally found out to be going to different doctors and getting a multitude of scripts. I can buy it.

At any rate, her conversations with Barb were hilarious. "I can't drive because I have a thyroid problem". "I have MS, I swear!" I almost expected a voiceover - "I haven't seen Jace for awhile because of my restless leg syndrome". It's always something, right, Jenelle? Barb was trying so hard not to laugh at her. And then, "Maybe ya got diabeetus". Hahahaha. I was rolling! "I can see molecules". Lay off the drugs, Jenelle.

I'll never believe that the wheelchair issue is more Leah's fault than Corey's--she's never shown in it around Corey and Miranda either--but making Miranda out to be a villain is ridiculous.

Yes she has, I think it was shortly after she got the wheelchair.  There was a scene where they were all outside at Corey and Miranda's.  Corey and Gracie were on a four wheeler and Miranda and Ali were next to them with Ali on the wheelchair.  Miranda said, "Want to race?"  and Ali happily echoed her.  I don't remember every detail, but I do remember being impressed with Miranda's step-parenting.

Exactly. Chelsea said on the aftershow that she texted him when she saw the signs/flyers/whatever. She said she didn't know the exact date, but he could look it up on the school website. I'm sure he never did. He should be doing that kind of stuff regularly anyhow. But I do get Chelsea at least TRYING, because she is in the public eye and is judged for everything she does.

Leah should have went to Corey with the backpack problem, not her entire family. She should have asked Miranda instead of showing everyone and MTV the video. She says how her and Corey are getting better with communication but she doesn't even ask either one of them about this. She just wants the drama and why were the kids with her cousin while she was at home making beds.

Yea, she said some BS about having to go off because all of her "levels" need to be normal so they can run tests. Hmmmm, okay. Never heard that one. I did think it was interesting that she mentioned that right when everyone was speculating that she was pregnant.

Leah's sister who called Miranda a lazy bitch can take several seats! Um Miranda has done more for those girls than Leah EVER has. You wanna see a lazy bitch, look at the one sitting next to you. Leah can't be bothered to clean her house, her car, get her kids up at a decent time to get them ready for school, can't even be bothered to feed her children and obviously can't even watch her own kids seeing that she gets the twins what? Three days a week and already someone else is watching them. Even though Leah doesn't work, doesn't have any responsibilities. Leah who can't even rent a house that is accessible for her disabled daughter? Who can't even be bothered to watch her two year old and lets her escape and doesn't even notice she's gone until a cop shows up at the door with her?

Wow Kail is cold. You can sleep when you are dead. Said to her husband who's stationed in a dangerous war zone. Just wow.

While I do agree that Chelsea is trying to totally replace Adam, I don't feel sorry for him. My ex husband is an "Adam" minus the criminal record and DUIS. He's a 47 year old who has visitation one day per week and an overnight and its hit or miss if he sees our daughter.  His excuse used to be he was working or he was tired from work (welcome to the club buddy, I work 40 hours per week and take care of 2 kids every minute I'm not at work) but now that he's laid off from his job and does NOTHING all day his excuses are more creative. For example he was supposed to take our daughter overnight this weekend and texted me at the last minute that he wasn't able to because ...wait for it... it was raining.  Um most people manage to parent their children regardless of the weather conditions.  His other excuses are that he's going to start school .. in September!!  So not employed, not doing anything but can't be bothered to "watch" his own children.  Sad thing is he was such a good attentive dad when our daughter was born. He was smitten with her. When we got divorced he just lost interest and would rather do other things. So no sympathy for Adam.  He's just around for the cameras and not truly interested in being a parent to Aubree.

Exactly! If you have a concern over something your child said, just go to the source. My daughter once told me that her teacher lied to her and tricked her into sitting on the carpet at school. She was very upset about this. So of course I talked to her teacher and cleared up the misunderstanding. Ali is a sweetheart and so is my daughter but they are still just kids and kids sometimes exaggerate or even straight up make things up. I really believe that Miranda DID help her but was probably having an overwhelming moment and maybe even spoke a little harshly to Ali out of frustration. And THAT is the thing that stuck with Ali.

Of course, that's just me speculating but that's why Leah needs to clear things up instead of just automatically assuming Miranda is this evil stepmother.

Yes, a longggg time ago (she got the wheelchair years ago) she was shown in it once or twice with both Corey and Leah. Leah was trying to get her to learn to use it in one scene, and I remember the scene you're talking about as well. She is not shown using it regularly now with either of them. That's what I meant. They are both equally responsible for that.

I agree with whoever said I wouldn't totally discount Ali's account of her feelings or her needs just because she's a child or might feel jealous of a new baby or frustrated due to her disability. Children's feelings are valid, too, and just because Ali is a child doesn't automatically mean she is 100% in the wrong and Miranda is 100% right. There might be some concerns there to address, and she might need her backpack carried. But a mature parent would calmly talk to Corey about the concerns in the context of a larger ongoing conversation, not call Miranda a lazy bitch. If Leah was more emotionally mature, I might understand her concern more. But she doesn't follow the doctor's orders either and doesn't display any self awareness, so it is difficult to think that the concern is about anything but jealousy of Miranda. Moreover, she and Corey haven't established the necessary atmosphere for those kinds of healthy questions to happen. What, is Corey supposed to call the woman he had an affair with and have a long conversation about how the woman he cheated on should be speaking to their child or dealing with her disability or the stress of a new baby? No. That would be insanely out of line and strange at this point. And Leah isn't capable of making it not at all about her/her victimhood, either.

Yes, didn't it? Like one of those commercials for Cialis or something where they're reading off all the side effects.

But it's all about Jenelle. She cares about herself only. Even when her mother told her that David called the police on her, Jenelle's all, "David's a good guy, he goes to work every day and the only reason he didn't go to work all this week was cuzza me and he's been watching Kaiser....zzzz."

Did anyone notice the discoloration on David's hand?

I am watching now and just partially into the show and I'm already seeing red with Leah and Jenelle.

Why is it that every time Leah and Corey talk she describes him as being argumentative and difficult. All he did was bring up a real concern about Ali's weight loss. He wasn't angry or defensive at all. Ridiculous.

Jenelle complains that her health problems are not anxiety and then gets pissed when they won't give her anxiety meds. Irony at its best.

Kail manages to suck the life and the happiness out of me just by being on my screen, I can't imagine how unpleasant she must be in real life. "I work 24 hour shifts here" I wonder if it's hard to see all the way up there on Kail's high horse. With her live in nanny,  Aka Javi's mom, while making a quarter of a mil a year for having my life filmed. Poor, poor Kail.

I haven't watched the show yet (and I probably won't, I prefer to just read the PTV comments), but this makes my blood absolutely boil.Sometimes when I go to sports events or other things with an audience, an announcer will come on and ask all active military and vets to stand up so the audience can applaud, and then he or she will go on to ask the spouses of military to also stand so the audience can applaud. While some argue that the two are not interchangeable, I think it's a very nice thing to acknowledge how hard deployment and other parts of military life can be on a military spouse, and to show appreciation for their sacrifice as well.

That said, Kail's 24 hour workday comment makes me want to smack her. She has live in help! And if she didn't, her income is more than enough to pay for help. She doesn't have a job, and even if she's in school full time, that's like, 15 hours a week. Bitch has plenty of time for herself.

Any time these girls mention stress, I just want to throw something at them. Not only are their lives significantly less stressful than the average uneducated teen mom, their lives are significantly less stressful than the average educated employed parent. All these bitches have way more help than I do, and I'm married and use daycare full time!

Was it explained where/why the girls were with Chasity when she was filming them anyway?  Was she babysitting them? Why? Leah was just at home anyway.  I didn't really understand the logistics of the whole thing.

Not to disagree with your larger point (which I agree with), this is really a misconception.  I've had too many students fail miserably because they thought college was only "twelve hours a week"; trust me, it's not.  College takes a lot more time than just the time spent in class: there's time spent reading texts, doing homework, working on papers and such, studying for tests, etc.  It's a rule of thumb that for every hour spent in class a student will spend between two and three hours outside of class doing work, and some find this isn't enough.

End of rant and back to your regularly scheduled snark.

I firmly believe Leah sent them there specifically to record that conversations. She wanted SOMETHING "bad" out there about Cory/Miranda, but she didn't want it to come from her. She was trying to make it look innocent, but I firmly believe the entire thing was manipulated.

I get that, I was mostly referring to the time she has to be away from home. Understand she has homework and studying but that is more flexible than actual class time or a job.

Kail: Javi is fighting for your safety and you can only whine about yourself.  Free Javi!  He deserves so much better.  It was nice that Kail and Vee got together.

Chelsea: Adam isn’t Aubree’s father. He’s a dude that comes in and out of her life when it’s convenient for him.  Cole should adopt Aubree so Adam can stop screwing with her for good.  Thank God for Cole. Also, the baby voice was in full force. Makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

Leah: Girl, you need to help yourself before you can even think about help your daughters.   Leah has never taken responsibility for her part in the mess with Corey. She’s to blame even more than he is.  Maybe Ali doesn’t eat at Corey’s because he GASP, makes her eat something besides junk. Imagine that, Leah.  I don’t know  who’s a bigger shit starter, Leah or her cousin.

Jenelle: MTV paid for her to try and get drugs. I bet they feel real good about that.  What symptom didn’t Jenelle have?  Also, Dave needs to keep his nose out of things having to do with Jace. Dave is just Jenelle’s dick of the moment. He will not last.  Jenelle couldn’t get drugs in her home state, so she went to New York? People are on to you. Also, in the preview for next week, when Jenelle blames Babs for her issues…. How dare she? Jenelle is just like Leah. Never held accountable for her actions.

I am glad I missed this episode if it meant missing seeing Leah's righteous indignation over a perceived parenting fail of Miranda's, when Leah has dropped the parenting ball dozens of times (that we know about).

A degree at a four-year university is definitely a full-time job, often even more time consuming than a 9-to-5, especially if you are working to get good grades. And class itself often goes for far more than 15 hours a week, especially if you're taking higher-level courses or a film/production course. And I believe she works for a production group on campus and does or used to work for the newspaper and/or the broadcasting station. And she says she gets done with class at 3 after being there all day-- obviously this is followed by several hours of studying and homework, as that's just the beginning. And most students don't have a house to take care of and two small children. And she does take good care of all of those things. So many moms can't go to school full time with children.

I could fault Kailyn for everything else, but she's definitely not lazy. It is a 24-hour job. However, that was definitely not the right time and place for that comment. But knowing that they're broken up now, I can't get all that invested in their fakey conversations during his deployment.

It's not a 24 hour job more than it is for anyone else with kids. I believe her comment was relating to the fact that now that Javi was gone, all the parenting and housekeeping duties fell to her. That is just not true. She has lots of help, just like Leah.

We've certainly come a long way from the days of Kail getting the custody schedule rearranged to give Jo less time with Isaac if Vee was going to be around and stipulating that no one else be present at their drop-offs so she wouldn't have to lay eyes on her. :)

I agree. Being a mom is hard work, and adding a full-time school schedule or job to that is harder. No one can discount that. But Kail needs to stop acting like a martyr. She isn't doing anything special. She's every other mom on the planet. And she's not doing it all on her own. Javi may be away, but she still has his parents and other relatives stepping in to help whenever she needs it. And that's not a luxury every mom can take advantage of, mind you. Regardless, what really gets me is the fact that Kail felt the need to throw that in his face, now, as if there's a particular reason one needs to compare taking on sole household responsibility with being away and working in the fucking military. And you better believe no one's there stepping in for him when he needs a break. Sigh. I get that it's frustrating when he calls and she tries to be supportive and outright asks him what he wants from her when he refuses to say what's bothering him or why he's so miserable-sounding, but she taking on the attitude that her life is just as difficult and frustrating as his is just snotty and deluded.

well said.

What I was getting at is this: while people who have deployed spouses may not be getting shot at, they may not be hiking through 100 degree deserts with 100 pounds of equipment on, they can walk without worrying about triggering a bomb, they can eat McDonalds and Jimmy Johns and not MRE food, etc. they are still making sacrifices and having to carry additional loads of being the sole parent at home, 100% responsible for all domestic duties when they used to split them, and that sacrifice in my opinion, deserves acknowledgement.

But Kail's day to day life really has not changed. She still has more help than some people that have a partner that still lives with them. She has financial resources most people will never have. So for her to try to one up Javi about who has it harder is really aggravating to me.

I fully agree with this. I don't think Adumb has ever really changed and has very minimal interest in being in Aubry's life. It's contingent upon when convenient for him and how good it makes him look on TV. I don't think he would sign away his rights while they're still on the show.

The funny thing is, I swear in one of the earlier episodes she was telling a friend how it was harder on Javi, at least emotionally, because of that fact - that everything is different for him. That was the same way I felt when my husband went overseas. I gave birth without him! But I didn't think I had it any harder. I had my family, and my home, my town. He had nothing that was familiar and comforting to him. SO I think Kail knows that, has acknowledged that. It just seems like those two are hell bent on trying to one up each other and push the other's buttons. It makes no sense to me. Javi seemed like he was trying to egg her into a fight, and really had no reason to make negative comments about Kail hanging out with Isaac's step-mom.

Quick. someone get a video camera. My 9 year old asked me to carry his backpack yesterday when I was already carrying in 5 grocery bags and my purse. I told him he could either carry it in himself or I would come out and get it later. I just couldn't do it right then. It makes my blood boil to see them go after Miranda. Carrying a newborn in and out of everything isn't easy. Especially if you factor in the weight of the car seat, plus a diaper bag and purse. Plus, I am sure she is not getting much sleep with a newborn around. Just because she is a step mom some people just assume she is going to be nasty to the girls. Ali's backpack couldn't have been that heavy. Why couldn't Grace help carry it if Ali couldn't.

In my opinion I think Ali might have some jealousy of the new baby going on. I was 7 when my sister was born and had been the only child up until then.I said a lot of  the same things Ali did. Granted,I didn't have a disability but all of a sudden I couldn't dress myself or carry my own stuff and wanted my parents to do it all for me. It's a huge adjustment when you are older and a new baby comes in.

I knew after that whole thing with Miranda, Leah's minions would go CRAZY on social media, defending her, and laying all the blame in the world on Miranda. Apparently, she only wants the girls to get back at Leah. um, what? If she didn't care about those girls, why would her and Corey fight for more parenting time and full custody? The intelligence level of her "fans" is almost as bad ad Janelle's fan base.

Miranda will take on extra time with two girls she absolutely despises just because she knows it will hurt Leah. Because you know it's totally logical to greatly inconvenience yourself (at a great financial cost), just to spite someone you don't like.

I was a little worried for Miranda after hearing about this episode. Leah's minions have already physically threatened Miranda before there were any complaints about her from the girls. It might be time for Miranda and Corey to quit filming for their own safety.

I think it's always harder and more work for the military spouse when the spouse is deployed, whether or not they have help or resources. And I don't think it's totally "normal" to be in undergrad full time while raising two small children. Most undergrads don't have two small kids or a deployed husband. But that was her own choice. I don't discount the immense toll that would take, though. I certainly don't think the day to day life of a military spouse is not at all affected just because they have help.

When I see that conversation, I think of everything leading up to it...all the conflict, Javi's misplaced hatred of Vee and Jo, Kailyn's perpetual lack of gratitude and nasty attitude, the miscarriage and his disgusting behavior, the fact that Kail clearly married him for benefits alone, Javi's possessiveness and her desire to get away from him at the expense of their marriage...they never had any staying power. Those two were meant to get divorced from day 1. He has no reason to make snotty comments about her relationship with Vee, and that is NOT how you talk to your deployed husband (although I don't think it's wrong to express that you're stressed as well, she just seems 100% lacking in empathy sometimes). I'm honestly glad they're likely over. Watching them is painful.

When I read the face-time conversation between Javi and Kail at the beginning of this thread I hadn't seen the episode yet, and I thought it was a parody! I couldn't believe it when the whole thing played out last night on the TV. The following would not have surprised me one iota:

Javi: "I had four grenades thrown at me today, bae."

Kail: (snippily) "WELL I HAD EIGHT GRENADES THROWN AT ME TODAY." She wouldn't miss a beat, I'm sure. She is such a snip.

Someone needs to inform her that silver/dark grey nail polish on just the tips just makes it look like she has dirt under her nails.

Despite all the other morons on this show, I have never seen anyone stare more stupidly than David. Every time he is shown, he is staring stupidly. He just looks extra stupid when he stares. I admit I have not seen myself when I stare, so I may be up there too on the Stupidly Staring scale, but....

It really saddened me to hear anyone refer to Miranda as "lazy bitch." She's a first-time mom with a preemie and two difficult stepdaughters who have a sick mother. Miranda isn't perfect--who is?--but she's got a lot to manage and it seems like she does a very adequate job.

I'm a stepmother to a child with special needs. My husband has primary custody. I've been accused of all sorts of things over the years--sometimes, there was some truth but kids are not reliable sources much of the time. Their perceptions are valid, but there needs to be some realism applied. In these contentious situations re: custody, every little word, action, and decision is put under the microscope and analyzed to death. It's exhausting. Parents aren't perfect, and if you're looking to catch a mistake, you'd probably find one.

Jenelle's list-o-symptoms was longer than her rap sheet. Listening to her and David have a conversation is really mind-numbing.

Where and when the relationship went wrong for Javi and Kail I don't know, but those two really ought to call it a day. They're both miserable and the relationship is extremely toxic.

My older daughter's father needs a lot of prompting to be involved. I know that I shouldn't HAVE to do it, but it's for my child. When you choose a less-than-stellar person to be a parent to your kid, you have to take some responsibility and step up if that's what is necessary for your child to feel loved and supported. My husband is Dad in almost every sense, but she wants her biological father involved despite his shittiness. Chelsea was thirsty for Adam's attention both for her AND for Aubree until she met Cole--now she wants to erase Adam and frankly, that's not how it works.

That's what I think too. I don't think Ali lied, but like any kid, I'm sure she complains about both parents/step-parents. I'm sure both sides have learned what questions to ask to bring it on. The Messer clan was just ready and waiting to record the conversation.
