I loved that scene and was really impressed with all involved. McKayla for her determination and allowing Shellie to help her, Shellie for being encouraging and respectful by asking permission to help (as opposed to just forcing her opinion or advice) and especially Caelen for his support. Having a supportive partner is huge during those difficult first few months of breastfeeding and I feel like it's gotta be rare for a teenage guy to be so gung ho about it.

At the GWL we went to there was a Code Brown situation. The whole pool was drained and it was out of commission for quite a while (which was very frustrating for my impatient 4 year old lol). I still wanna know why Leah had to go all the way out to Cali to stay at GWL. That don't make no sense.

I just wanted to address this point. My mom is a bartender and begins her shift at 11am. She has a lot of regulars come in then that are third shifters just getting off work and having a drink before going home to bed. So Barb just might be able to find herself her hard working, decent man at a bar during the day.

It took me months for my cycles to regulate after I got off birth control so I can understand, if she wanted to get pregnant right away, why she would have gotten off of it prior to her wedding day. I don't think it's irresponsible or impulsive, she and Cole have always been on the same page when it comes to having children. My DH and I were the same way, we started trying a few months after we were married (it didn't happen as quickly for us but we were ready for it). I think as long as a couple is in agreement then there isn't anything wrong with them getting pregnant right away.

You're correct. She's doing a Twitter Q&A about her pregnancy and said she wasn't pregnant at the reunion. She's due on Valentine's Day.

I do agree that George has made some comments and done a few things that make me take pause but I thought he said that he had a tech job of some sort that he didn't want to leave which was why they moved near his family.

I find it especially funny when she harps about a high chair. A car seat, yes that's necessary but a high chair is not exactly a necessity. But I guess then she wouldn't be able to strap him down and ignore him, dude. Speaking of car seats, did Nathan even have one when he went on his little kidnapping mission? How exactly did he plan on getting his child home? Although with the lack of car seat safety displayed by all the Teen Mom participants it wouldn't surprise me if he just let him roll around in the cab.

I think you're right. I know at one point someone back on TWoP posted a blog post by one of the older Houska girls where she addressed the Teen Mom stuff (I can't remember what her blog was dedicated to but it definitely wasn't typically centered around reality TV) and she talked about her family life.
