Taylor sounded like an idiot but what else is new? I can't stand Brandi Glanvilles trashy flat ass but clownface Taylor had some nerve knocking Brandi for borrowing nice handbags...it came out in Tays court case all her fancy handbags were flea market fakes.

Andy does better when he has real celebrities on and doesn't just talk over them. And maybe is prepared with knowing something and not reding a Wikipedia blurb "it says here you once..."

Awww......I really enjoyed seeing Nene & Kim Zolciak together again! They have such a beautiful chemistry together & they both looked great. That clip of their fights was *painful to watch---although Nene's zingers are gifts that keep on giving.

I thought it was interesting that Nene said her friendships with Kim & Cynthia are/were different. I think Nene said, she & Cynthia would call each other 10x a day & spend time over each other's houses in contrast to her relationship with Kim. Yet, IIRC Nene & Kim were friends for a decade before RHoA started......hm, maybe I need to follow this train of thought in a RHoA thread?

I missed most of the early seasons. So I'm curious were Nene and Kim more drinking friends? You know, dinner out drinks out.

Yuk. Seeing those two together again made me want to hurl!  Couple of famewhores. Ugh. just ugh.  Can't wait until they both drift off into the sunset, never to be seen on my teevee again. Thank you.

And Andy pissing his pants with glee over these two, which was even more vomit inducing.  I don't understand his obsession with some of his favorite housewives.

I watched from season one and I still didn't get the reason for the distinction.  From all appearances she did go to Kim's house, they did talk on the phone, each of them knew the other's children from when they were very small - I think Nene is even Briana's Godmother.  Yeah they seemed to be good time party girl friends but it still struck me as a friendship that was closer than just on the surface.    Also because they knew each other before/independently of RHOA.  One of them brought the other on if I'm not mistaken.   Real talk, Kim doesn't insist on Nene being apologetic for anything, she pretty much understands and accepts her for who she is, warts and all.  Cynthia doesn't want to do that and Nene knows it.

She was extra *something*  affected? fake?  Normally I can get through a Leakes appearance but the weird face making and hollywood laugh last night?  Ewww.    It's a pity too, I wanted to take my kid to see Cinderella over Christmas break.  If that's what we've got to look forward to no thanks.

I agree Nene was over the top, even for Nene last night.

I found that part interesting too but I took it a little differently. It seems to me that Nene sort of meant that her and Cynthia's friendship was fast and intense, like when you have one of those hot and heavy romantic relationships where you just get everything about the person, feel like you've known them all your life, spend every second with them, etc. It wasn't necessarily bad, it just became a very intense friendship in a shorter amount of time than it did with Kim and so when she and Cynthia fell out it was like "Wow, our bond was so strong so fast that I didn't think a minor issue like this would be the thing to do us in." Basically, I think Nene described, without realizing it, the difference between infatuation and a genuine friendship. She and Kim didn't need to stay up under each other all the time because, love them or hate them, they've both got dynamic personalities and naturally got along. I don't doubt Cynthia and Nene had some kind of genuine friendship too, but Cynthia always struck me as a person who gets easily taken and starry-eyed with a new person in her life. For better or worse, Kim and Nene see each other clearly and know exactly who they're dealing with with each other.

I wish Andy had paired Sandra with Amy Sedaris and just nixed Brandi and Chopra altogether. I'd have preferred watching dueling fake Elmos from TImes Square being interviewed than the latter two.

I usually save the episodes and watch back to back on the weekend. Inevitably I always think the same thing! Lots of guests I don't get why he doesn't just have solo. Amy and Sandra would have been great on their own or together spread over two nights.

I actually enjoyed Vicki on the show. The game Vick or a cat was so freakin funny. Vicki sure gags a lot.

Beth Stern....I'm sure she is a nice woman but I just don't see the pretty. She is tall thin and blond so I guess that good enough.

This going to sound very immature, I wonder if Howard's ex wife ever hears Beth talk about Howard and wonders, who is the gentle sweet easy going man is.

I used to listen to HS back in the day and he was miserable everything seemed to annoy him about his wife and home.

I know its been years. And I'm sure she has moved on. I wonder if it ever hurt her to hear how different he is with Beth.

Alison (Howard's ex-wife) has been remarried for years.  I'm sure she saw the good in Howard -- she seems like too decent and sensible a woman to have stayed with someone (for over 20 years) who was a complete jerk.  But she also got the less evolved, less mature, crankier, more miserable version of Howard.

Beth (who seems like a very compassionate, loving, sweet person) knows the slightly more evolved, more mature Howard, but he admits to still being cranky and miserable and I'm sure Beth gets to experience all of that fun at home too.  He may make more of an effort to be less miserable now than he did when he and Alison were together, but I think a lot of that comes with age and just mellowing out a bit.

Was that a jumpsuit that Beth was wearing on WWHL?  I'm surprised that Andy didn't say "I love a jumpsuit!"

I'm sure you are completely right.

I don't listen to HS any more, so all I know about him is what I used to listen to. Your post makes sense.

BS was wearing a jumpsuit a caller said something about it. Yeah Andy didn't really say much about it.

FYI: Howard's ex-wife remarried the same year their divorce was finalized, in November 2001 (they split in October or November 1999).

Beth has been with Howard since May 2000 (married in October 2008).

Anyways, I think part of Howard's maturity is that he doesn't have the macho influence in his life. There are no longer any macho "guy's guys" on the show (well, maybe Ronnie the Limo Driver). And that has allowed his "feminine" side to shine through. I think it was there all along, but he had to hide it, or tone it down, in the pre-Beth era.

As for Beth, whom I follow on Twitter and Instagram, I'm just disturbed that her whole sum total in this world is looking sexy, being married to Howard and animals. That's all she posts. But she's 42. And she can't pose naked photos and rely on her looks forever, but she probably will.

About the Beth vs Allison thing.  I have not listened to HS since his move from free radio but he was always talking about the missed opportunity of not being able to be with all the women who threw themselves at him because he was married. Maybe he got all that out of his system between his separation and meeting Beth and that was a part of his discontentment at the time.  And Beth can devote most of her time to Howard unlike Allison who had kids plus IIRC a full time career.  And as others have said...sometimes time does mellow you out.  To put this more on topic...it sounds like Andy and Howard are friends outside their shows?

I think all that talk was radio shtick. He also said he went through a mad tear of 25+ women between his separation (in October 1999) and meeting Beth (in May 2000). That would seem too far-fetched. (I believe only Robin Givens has come forward, and they only briefly dated.)

Howard really isn't that wild and crazy guy. He's a homebody. And he doesn't have to devote so much time to Beth, since she has her many cats.

As for Howard's relationship with Andy, well, they've seen each other socially as was said on last night show. But he hasn't stopped by WWHL, even for an earlier taping. The whole getting up early is a bit of a stretch since Howard works on his radio show only Monday through Wednesday, or Monday through Tuesday during America's Got Talent. And he takes like 12 weeks of vacation a year.

I think it's more that Andy is a huge Howard Stern fanboy. He was very sad when Eric the Actor, a Stern wackpacker died.

And this morning Andy tweeted with Mariann from Brooklyn, another Stern wackpacker, promising to put her on the show.

Did not care for Nicki. She has quite the attitude. I don't know why her eyes widened at every question - she said she had seen the show before. She was not feeling that tacky Andy-conda stocking either. That shit hit the floor two seconds after it was handed to her. I'm conflicted on whether I liked that she was honest and said no to Andy's butt selfie (because it was a stupid and annoying question) or whether she was sort of rude and a stick-in-the-mud about it.

So who has read Andy's new book? I just finished it. A "shallow year" is a good subtitle for the book. I thought there would be more behind-the-scenes stuff about WWHL, but there wasn't much. Mostly it was just a list of people that he has lunch and dinner with every day, lamentations on being "fat", a few reminders sprinkled in about how rich he is and lots of age-inappropriate dates.

I knew that some shows were pre-taped, but after reading the book, it's a lot more shows than I thought. Seems like most of the Thursday shows are pre-taped, especially in the summer so that Andy can spend his weekends in the Hamptons mooching lunch and dinner off his friends. To be honest, he seems quite bored with the show in the book, but maybe it's because he just doesn't talk about it much.

Um holy shit, please tell me someone else was watching tonight.

I'm on the west coast, so I have to wait another few hours.  I was planning to watch it, though.  You have me curious -- what happened?  Was it a drunken train wreck with Brandi Glanville and Jeff Lewis?  Did Andy, Jeff and Brandi have a threesome?  What happened?

I registered just so I could comment on this. WTF just happened? I was laughing at the uncomfortableness of Jeff. But when Brandi turned back around after crying, it sure didn't look like she had been crying. Was it an act? And at the very end, she said to Jeff, you're a fucking asshole. I'm so confused. That was awesome.

  • Love 6

I love spoilers -- although I suppose that my fellow West Coast peeps may feel differently??   I don't know.  Does anyone care about being 'spoiled' for this show?  It's not like it's The Walking Dead or anything, but I guess it's better to err on the side of caution?

If you decide to spoil anything, though, I have no problem with it! :-)

Here:

Andy said that Brandi should run her hand through Jeff's hair to make sure it's real. Jeff joked that he didn't want to get an STD from Brandi. Apparently she really has HPV and didn't seem bothered at first. They went through the rest of the show and then right after they came back from commercial before the end of the show (the last break before it ends) Brandi threw wine on Jeff like she did to Eileen on tonight's RHOBH episode. Everyone was shocked and then she started crying because of what he said earlier in the show about the STD. She actually turned her chair around and away from the cameras to cry. It was reeeeeeally uncomfortable. Jeff tried apologizing and she snapped at him and as the show was ending and the music picked up you could see her call him 'a fucking asshole.' AND they still had the live after show to film! That should also be uncomfortable.

You can talk about it as soon as it airs. Us west coasters need to stay away if we don't want to be spoiled. I'm reading the RHoBH right now and haven't seen the show.

Anyway, poor Jeff (never thought I'd say that) Andy has cut his head with a breakaway bottle and now Brandi tosses wine at him. Tamra did it better btw...

  • Love 1

I could see her getting upset by his comment but what I don't get was that it had happened like twenty minutes earlier and she had no reaction at the time! She had been going along with the show fine and the all of a sudden she is crying? What? I thought she was going to turn around laughing and say it was all a joke. Honestly, it made no sense. She is obviously totally crazy or just desperate for attention. Or both!

  • Love 1

Oh, okay....  Thank you, Box305!  I read the spoiler.  That's very interesting, indeed.   Jeff never hesitates to stir the pot, but I guess I'm surprised that he stirred it with her.  I thought he would mainly stick to insulting Andy, as he usually does.

When Brandi was recently on WWHL with Sandra Bernhard, it was clear to me that Brandi was trying to bond with her -- like she thought that Sandra would like her and think she was cool (probably unaware that Sandra thinks all of the Housewives are ridiculous).   Brandi even resorted to flirting with Sandra at one point, offering to expose herself to Sandra and her girlfriend.  I actually kind of felt sorry for her, because it seemed as though she wanted to be liked and I had a feeling that Sandra was not warming up to her.   Sandra did not seem to be impressed, but I think she was restraining herself from saying something really dismissive and rude to Brandi.

I guess Jeff Lewis doesn't have that restraint, or maybe he just thought Brandi would find him funny?

  • Love 1

Yeah, we're talking about it in the RHoBH thread (which I guess we shouldn't be since it wasn't a tacked on version).  Anyhow, it was really puzzling - it looked setup, the way Brandi was sitting there with her glass poised to toss, and I thought she and Jeff seemed very chummy and familiar thru the whole show - you'd see them having sidebar conversations throughout.  As I said in the other thread, I thought they were all punking us, and she'd turn around laughing and they'd all break character laughing.   Then, she never did and it went on and on beyond the point of awkward.

I still think someone was acting- I'm just not sure if it was her only or all three of them.  It was kind of fascinating in a totally 'WTF is really going on here?' sort of way.

I too kept thinking she was going to turn around and start laughing that it was all a joke.  If it wasn't a set up that all 3 were in on, this will be the first ever time I feel bad for Jeff Lewis, given how uncomfortable he looked at the end.  I really wanted more from the Egbers too...Brandi sucked the air and time out of the room.

Brandi is either completely and certifiably unstable, a repulsive scenery-chewing famewhore, or perhaps just an exceptionally disgusting combination of both.  No matter which of these she is, the last place she needs to be is on television.  Insane people should not be exploited, and famewhores should not be rewarded with as much camera time as her nasty self has gotten.  She is not refreshingly honest, or unpredictably kooky, she is grotesque in her desperation for attention at any cost.

I'm sure Jeff thought she would just laugh off his joke, because isn't this the same woman who talks about having her vagina tightened up, offers cunnilingus as a peace offering, and makes finger-banging jokes at fancy parties in mixed, elegant company?  Why would an STD joke suddenly be a bridge too far for her?

I hope Jeff wasn't uncomfortable because he felt bad for her, I hope he was uncomfortable because she was making such a total fool out of herself.  Again.  Some more.  As usual.

  • Love 11

I don't feel sorry for Jeff at all.  He is a very cruel man who enjoys humiliating people and passes it off as "jokes".  Jeff can be very intimidating and mean spirited to people he deems beneath him.  It is high time someone stood up to him.

Throwing a drink is juvenile but I believe she was hurt and turned around to keep herself from crying.

  • Love 1

Jeff and Brandi may just be "Hollywood friends"...he did agree that she was white trash and that any progeny with Brandi would need a psych evaluation.

Lexapro and wine. Xanax and wine. On what planet is this not considered mixing anti-depressents/anxiety medication with alcohol? And readily admitting it. Moron. If I was Eddie I'd be taping this and getting it to the judge asap. Her boys are still very young and impressionable. Despite Kim's insistence I do not think this is a stable, responsible mom.
