In the First Look for next episode they have some clips of Drunk Cameran's escapades from Election Night, and it turns out she slapped Whitney in the face.  How can you not love Drunk Cameran after knowing that?

There was a lady who came into my gynecologist's office who was 8 months pregnant. Could have fooled me. She had the same build as Cameran and wasn't big at all. No "baby fat" on her anywhere. Except for the round tummy, she didn't look pregnant.

No, LabLover, that was Danny in Real World:Austin, which was 2 seasons after San Diego. Cameron was about 19 during RW and she was kind of like now but more naive and sheltered and not knowing as much, so not as confident. She had a crush on Brad, not sure if they ever actually hooked up. I don't think so on the show. She said she went to his wedding recently within the last year or so one time when she was on WWHL. Who else was on that season? Robin-- she ended up doing a lot of those RW-RR challenges. I think on the San Diego one, Robin had some romance with Randy.?? I don't know it was so long ago. Jamie Chung was on that season and she is a famous working actress now.

Cameron did at least 1 or 2 seasons of the RW RR challenge back in the day.

I remember watching Real World: San Diego, but I don't remember Cameran making much of an impression on me- just that Frankie was really, really crazy and was a cutter, and people asking her to please not do it here.

 

I honestly wonder if Cameran has already decided she doesn't want children, but she doesn't want to admit it. That would be an interesting storyline.

She refers to being 31.  She flirted with Brad on RWSD.  First thing she asked the other girls is whether they also packed their vibrators.

 

During the season, she's on the phone with daddy a few times, asking him to put money in her account.

 

She may be thinking she might as well do reality TV while she can, but not as long as those Real Housewives.  Probably don't want to be doing it 10 years from now.

 

Wonder if she really enjoys Patricia's company or just trying to network to see if she can get real estate business, either from Patricia herself or from referrals.  Maybe also being a known TV personality in Charleston would help market herself to potential clients.  Who knows maybe she'll do Million Dollar Listing Charleston someday.

Did Cameran and her husband buy a new house? I swear the house looks substantially bigger than I remember it being in season 2, where she's passing off frozen t.v. dinners as the real thing. It's pretty gorgeous. I do buy that she's not really used to hosting big fancy dinners, and that she has wedding gifts that are still wrapped up.

 

I can't see her doing the reality t.v. thing for the rest of her life, especially since it seems like she wants to keep at least some partos of her life private.

It's definitely a different house than last season---her current kitchen and living room were completely opposite last season. I dunno if they were renting before and finally bought a place, or maybe she and her husband could finally afford a fancier home with both their combined incomes, I have no idea.

Whatever it is, it's quite elegant and tastefully decorated, more so than I would've expected for the self-proclaimed "simple country girl."

I have some episodes of season 2 on my DVR and the definitely used a different exterior shot for Cameran's home. Same interior, though. I've heard that they don't always use real exterior shots of their actual homes on these reality shows. For example, Ramona from RHONY has said the use a different building than the one her apartment is in.

She has the exact lifestyle I want.  A successful Doctor Husband who is apparently never home lol 

 

However I think we are given the appearance that he's "really busy" and never home because he doesn't want to be on the show. 

But he could also be really busy - who knows!!  She can't break the 4th wall and say "My husband doesn't want to be on the show so i'm going to another party alone"  lol

I think she has been up-front and said, either on WWHL or maybe the reunion, that he didn't want to be featured on camera.  So I'm guessing she works her filming schedule (like, when she's filming in her own home) around his.  A lot of times his absence just seems to go unmentioned.  She did have someone else escort her to Cooper's ball last season.

I do not like Cam. I don't like anyone that doesn't have "thank you" in his/her vocabulary (even when Queen Pat offered Butler's services, Cam said "well, ok"; I find Cam to be very very full of herself), I doubt that she would have married had the children/no children discussion been resolved. I think Cam is being cagey, playing the reality TV game like a pro. Wouldn't surprise me if she doesn't deem Bethenny Frankel an idol. Hubby might think she's kept busy with this TV gig, plus pulling in some bucks, while he builds his practice;  see Erika Jane - until she embarrasses the brand, it's a few bucks added to the family kitty.

Point of trivia / trivial point, Cam's husband is an anesthesiologist. They generally work in hospitals (in his case he is part of the Trident Health System), not private practice.

I think this baby/no baby is Cam's story line this year. Plus finding Shep a life partner which he has no interest in finding for himself. I think she's just searching for her place in this show now. However, I do love Cam, her look, her clothes (!), her home and her hair. How shallow am I? Ha.

Cameran with a baby would be a wacky hijinks plotline but I could see them keeping the baby off the show. Who knows how long this show will last.

Probably not. She talked about the fact they had talked extensively about the fact that she may not want children before they got married.

I have zero interest in Cam's story revolving around life with baby. Happy to meet her as we met Asher (Jen's son) and of course wish the Wimberleys well, but can't see this development adding much to Cam's story line. If anything, it will keep her from eating gas station food with Shep and getting hilariously drunk at parties.

I guess we'll never really know if Cam was reluctant to have kids since she seems to be right on schedule (married for about two years, early 30's).  We haven't seen her really interact with kids (unless you count Shep, who she seems really invested in his happiness).  She did say repeatedly that her husband wanted kids so maybe this was as long as she could hold out.  I still expect her to be on the show although I can't imagine her wanting to do it at 8 months pregnant since she's always prided herself in being skinny.  A gender reveal normally happens around 20 weeks so she's probably due at the end of September or first part of October.

Word from my friends is she and her husband are over the moon, have been planning to have a child, and what was on the show was yet another fake storyline. Geez, if these folks don't have anything interesting going on in their lives that they want to share on TV, find some other players.
